하천 미지형 및 하상저질에 따른 갯버들과 달뿌리풀군락의 분포특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Distribution Patterns of Salix gracilistyla and Phragmites japonica Communities according to Micro-landforms and Substrates of the Stream Corridor)

  • This study was carried out to verify the distribution patterns of Salix gracilistyla and Phragmites japonica communities known as obligatory riparian species according to physical factors such as micro-landforms, substrates, etc., at Soo-ip stream corridor. Firstly four vegetation types - Salix gracilistyla dominant type, Phragmites japonica dominant type, mixed type of two species, and mixed type of two species to other species, were classified by cluster analysis based on UPGMA-Euclidean distance. Also these vegetation types showed many different distribution patterns in response to the longitudinal and lateral view along the stream corridor and substrate composition. Salix gracilistyla was major component of dominant vegetation types developed at attack point of bending reach and on substrates composed of rock fragments, but contrastly Phragmites japonica was most important component of dominant vegetation types at point bar of bending reach and floodplain, and on substrates composed of soil materials. Secondly the species and environment biplot form CCA strongly supported the vegetation types divided by classification. Namely Salix gracilistyla was closely correlated with rock fragments and steep slope, which is resistant to physical action even though located near running water. But Phragmites japonica showed a high correlation with soil particles sedimented at floodplain by divergent flow.

시각적 선호요인 분석을 통한 농촌 소하천 경관평가에 관한 연구 (Landscape Evaluation of Rural Stream based on the Factor Analysis of Visual Preference)

  • The purpose of this study is to find the bi-polar adjectives for rural stream landscape evaluation by the semantic differential scale and to suggest the major determinants of visual preference in rural stream landscapes. For this, the bi-polar adjectives for rural stream landscape evaluation was found by the method of the reliability test, and the spatial image was analyzed by the factor analysis. The level of visual preference was measured by slide simulation test, and these data were analyzed by the multiple regression. The major findings of this study can be summarized as follows : 1) Of the bi-polar adjectives expressing psychological and physical characteristics, the hi-polar adjectives which demonstrated reliability and consistency run as follows : Bi-polar adjectives expressing psychological characteristics : 'calm-bustling', 'unfamiliar-familiar', 'still-active','depressing-brisk', 'discomfortable-comfortable', 'suppressed-free', 'lifeless-living', 'quiet-noisy', 'unpleasant-pleasant'. Bi-polar adjectives expressing physical characteristics : 'artificial-natural', 'narrow-wide', 'rocky-not rocky', 'desolate-fertile', 'dirty-clean', 'enclosed-open', 'flat-steep', 'not gravelly-gravelly', 'thicketed-not thicketed', 'not weedy-weedy'. 2) Two factors, the harmony and the movement, were derived from the factor analysis for the psychological variables. Three factors, the naturalness, the rock, and the vegetation, were derived from the factor analysis for the physical variables. 3) Rural stream landscape types were classified into four types by the multi-dimensional scaling method. Type III, IV obtained higher rank of visual preference and type I, II obtained lower. 4) For all types, the factors determining the level of visual preference were found to be the harmony, the naturalness, and the vegetation. The visual preference determinants of rural stream landscape need to be considered in improving or restoring the rural stream landscapes.

위천유역(渭川流域)의 가능최대홍수량(可能最大洪水量) 특성(特性) (The Characteristics of Probable Maximum Flood on Wi Stream Watersheds)

  • 낙동강 지류중 하나인 위천유역 및 동성유역권의 수공구조물 설계시 설계홍수량 결정을 위한 기본자료를 제공하고자 시간분포의 유형과 기저유량의 변화에 따른 가능최대홍수량의 양상을 분석하였다. 먼저 수문기상학적인 방법으로 PMP를 추정하고, Blocking방법의 central, advanced 그리고 delayed type를 각각 이용하여 시간 분포시킨 호우를 Clark방법을 이용하여 PMF를 산정한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. PMP시간분포형에 따라서 첨두 PMF는 기저유량에 따라 advanced일 때 3145.3~3348.3cms, central일 때 3774.6~3977.7cms, delayed일 때 3814.6~4017.3cms로 나타났다. 여기서 강우의 시간분포가 advanced type이고 기저유량이 Minimum일 때 central과 delayed에 비하여 첨두PMF가 670cms정도 작게 나타남을 알수 있었다. 따라서 최대 첨두PMF와 최소 첨두PMF는 각각 delayed와 advanced일 때의 4017.3cms와 3145.3cms이며, 결과에 의한 평균 PMF는 3653.6cms로서 이 결과가 위천유역의 설계홍수량으로 타당하다고 사료된다. 2. 평균PMF와 가지야마에 의한 결과치와는 가지야마 값보다 1.7배 큰값으로 나타났고 이는 1,000년에서 10,000년 빈도사이의 홍수량으로 추정된다.

Balanced bitrate control of multiple videos in transcoding for multi-view service

  • In this paper, a balanced bitrate control in transcoding process based on video complexity measure for multi-view system which simultaneously shows multiple channels or video contents in single screen, is proposed. In order to consider the total quality of multiple video streams, the proposed algorithm reduces the complexity of multiple video stream and video quality differences at the same time by controlling bitrates of each stream by weighting when they are stitched for single screen. For the measure of complexity and quality differences between video streams, two different data: histogram of macroblock type and bitrate for each stream are used. The experimental result indicates that proposed algorithm decreases fluctuation of quality difference between videos in the multi-view system.

  • Streamlines around a ship's hull can be calculated by using streamline tracing method replacing the ship section with distribution of singularity. The influence of frame lines on the stream surrounding a hull surface, however, can not be found. Jinnaka studied on streamlines for Lewis form by applying the slender body theory. The influence of frame lines on stream surrounding a hull surface is well found in Jinnaka's method. In this paper streamline calculation method for chine type has been developed by using conformal transformation and applying slender body theory as Jinnaka did. 도심하천과 자연하천의 식생형에 따른 조류 서식지 유형분석 (Classification of Avian Habitats Based on Vegetation Types in Urban and Natural Streams)

  • 우리나라 중부지역에 입지하는 3개 하천(안양천, 갑천, 섬강)을 대상으로 식생형에 따른 조류의 서식 유형을 파악하였다. 식생 유형은 교목형, 관목형, 장경-습생초지형, 단경-건생초지형, 기타 경작지형 등 5가지 유형이었다. 식생형과 출현 조류는 상관성이 높았는데, 교목형에서는 멧비둘기(Streptopelia orientalis) 및 직박구리(Hypsipetes amaurotis) 등의 종이, 관목형에서는 붉은머리오목눈이(Paradoxornis webbiana), 딱새(Phoenicurus auroreus) 등이, 장경 및 습생초지에서는 덤불해오라기(Ixobrychus sinensis), 개개비(Acrocephalus arundinaceus)등이, 단경초지에서는 꿩(Phasianus colchicus), 황조롱이(Falco tinnunculus) 등의 종이, 경작지에서는 중대백로(Egretta alba modesta), 흰뺨검둥오리(Anas poecilorhyncha) 및 밭종다리(Anthus spinoletta) 등의 종이 각각 번식 및 채식지로 이용하였다. 현존식생 및 입지유형에 따라서 조류의 종별 분포유형이 뚜렷이 구분되었다.

대향류형 보텍스 튜브에서의 형상 변화에 따른 온도 분리에 관한 실험적 연구(I) (An Experimental Study on the Characteristics of Temperature Separation for the Formal Change of Counterflow Type Vortex Tube)

  • The aim of this study is to provide fundamental informations that make it possible to use a cool stream and a hot stream simultaneously. We changed the pressure of compressed air that flows into a tube, the inner diameter of orifice that a cold stream exits, and the mass flow rate ratio. And in each case, we measured the temperature of a cold stream and a hot stream in each exit of a tube. Also we measured the axial temperature distribution and the radial temperature distribution in internal space of a tube. From the study, following conclusive remarks can be made. Average flow rate that flows into a tube is in proportion to square root of inlet pressure. As inlet pressure increases axial and radial temperature distribution in the inner space of vortex-tube increase. As mass flow rate ratio change, separation point moves.
