과잉 Zr을 첨가한 MmNi4.5Mn0.5Zrx(x=0, 0.025, 0.05, 0.1) 합금의 수소용기 적용에 관한 연구 (Study on the Application for Hydrogen Storage Tank of MmNi4.5Mn0.5Zrx(x=0, 0.025, 0.05, 0.1) Alloys Containing Excess Zr)

  • In order to improve the hydrogen storage capacity and the activation properties of the hydrogen storage alloys, the rare-earth metal alloy series, MmN $i_{4.5}$M $n_{0.5}$Z $r_{x}$(x=0, 0.025, 0.05, 0.1), are prepared by adding excess Zr in MmN $i_{4.5}$M $n_{0.5}$ alloy. The various parts in hydrogen storage vessel consisted of copper pipes reached the setting temperature within 4~5 minutes after heat addition, which indicated that storage vessel had a good heat conductivity required in application. The performance test on storage vessel filled with rare-earth metal alloys of 1000 gr was also conducted after hydrogen charging for 10 min at $18^{\circ}C$ under 10 atm. It showed that the average capacity of discharged hydrogen volume was found to be for $MmNi_{4.5}$ $Mn_{0.5}$ and $MmNi_{4.5}$ $Mn_{x}$ 0.5/$Zr_{samples}$ indicated that the released amount of hydrogen for this $AB_{5}$ type alloys was more than 92 % of theoretic value, and also it was found that the optimum discharging temperature for obtaining an appropriate pressure of 3 atm was determined to be $V^{\circ}C$ for $MmNi_{4.5}$ $Mn_{0.5}$$Zr_{x}$(x=0, 0.025, 0.05, 0.1) hydrogen storage alloys. The released amount of these hydrogen storage samples was 125 $\ell$ , 122.4 $\ell$ and 108.15 $\ell$/kg for $MmNi_{4.5}$ $Mn_{0.5}$ $Zr_{0.025}$ $MmNi_{4.5}$M $n_{0.5}$Z $r_{0.05}$, and MmN $i_{4.5}$ Mn_0.5$Zr_{0}$, at $70^{\circ}C$ respectively. Amount of the 2nd phases increase with increase on Zr contents in $MmNi_{4.5}$$Mn_{0.5}$ $Zr_{ 0.1}$/ alloy. This phenomenon indicates that$ ZrNi_3$ in $MmNi_{4.5}$ $Mn_{0.5}$ $Zr_{x}$ / phase, which shows the maximum storage capacity and the strong resistance to intrinsic degradation, is considered as a proper alloy for hydrogen storage. As the Zr contents increase, the activation time and the plateau pressure decreases and sloping of the plateau pressure increases.creases.eases.s.

우드펠릿의 저장량에 따른 발화온도 및 발화유도시간에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Ignition Temperature and Ignition Induction Time According to Storage Amount of Wood Pellets)

  • 우드펠릿은 화력발전소 및 화목 보일러의 연료로 많이 사용되고 있으나 발열량이 높은 우드펠릿을 장기간 보관 시 자연발화의 위험성이 있다. 본 연구에서는 시료 용기의 크기에 따라 유량의 변화에 따른 최소자연발화온도와 발화한계온도를 구하였으며, 발화한계온도를 이용하여 겉보기 활성화 에너지를 측정함으로써 우드펠릿의 발화 특성을 예측하였다. 겉보기 활성화 에너지는 190.224 kJ/mol을 구하였다. 용기에 저장된 시료량이 두꺼워질수록 시료 표면에서 중심까지의 열전달이 어려워 발화유도시간이 긴 것으로 나타났으며, 용기의 크기가 같을 경우 유량의 양이 많아 질수록 자연발화온도는 낮아졌다. 또한 시료용기가 커질수록 자연발화온도는 낮아지고 발화유도시간은 길어지는 것으로 나타났다.

  • 선진국에서는 온실가스 감축을 위한 이산화탄소 지중저장에 대하여 다양한 연구가 진행되고 있으며, 또한 염수대수층을 대상으로 파일럿 사이트를 운영하고 있다. 이산화탄소 지중저장에 있어서 모니터링 기술로 탄성파 및 전기비저항 토모그래피탐사가 적용되고 있으며, 이산화탄소 주입 전후의 탄성파 및 전기비저항의 변화로부터 주입범위 및 거동 해석을 시도하고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 모니터링 기술을 개발하기 위하여 고압베셀을 이용하여 압력 및 온도를 제어할 수 있는 실내모사 실험 장치를 개발하고, 다공질 사암에 초임계상태의 이산화탄소를 주입하면서 전기비저항 및 탄성파 속도를 측정할 수 있는 시스템을 구축했다.

Stability Control of Energy Storage Voltage Source Inverters in Isolated Power Systems

  • Isolated power systems (IPS) are often characterized by a weak grid due to small power grids. The grid side voltage is no longer equivalent to an ideal voltage source of an infinitely big power grid. The conversion control of new energy sources, parameter perturbations as well as the load itself can easily cause the system voltage to oscillate or to become unstable. To solve this problem, increasing the energy-storage power sources is usually used to improve the reliability of a system. In order to provide support for the voltage, the energy-storage power source inverter needs an method to control the voltage source. Therefore, this paper has proposed the active damping control of a voltage source inverter (VSI) based on virtual compensation. By simplifying the VSI double closed-loop control, two feedback compensation channels have been constructed to reduce the VSI output impedance without changing the characteristics of the voltage gain of a system. This improvement allows systems to operate stably in a larger range. A frequency-domain analysis, and simulation and experimental results demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method.

구조 효율을 고려한 CNG 자동차 연료저장용기의 최적설계 (Optimal Design of the Fuel Storage Vessel of CNG Automobile by Considering Structural Efficiency)

  • Type II compressed natural gas(CNG) storage vessels for automobiles have been acknowledged for their excellence and have recently become established in local regions. Their supply is not only to automakers in Korea such as Hyundai Motors but they are being increasingly exported. Although the available products have undergone safety evaluations and are certified by an authorized institution they are still short of the optimal design that is possible for such storage vessels. This research investigates the shape and thickness of the dome with the aim of optimizing the type II CNG storage vessels by using a finite element analysis technique. CNG storage vessels can be largely divided into 3 parts namely, the hear part, the cylinder part and the dome part. The head part is designed by means of a hot spinning process and this method is safer than that used in the design of the dome part even though its shape is similar. The thickness of the liners and reinforcing materials was optimized based on the requirements of the cylinder and dome parts. In addition, the shape of the dome, which is most suitable for Type II CNG storage vessels, is proposed by a process of review and analysis of various existing shape, and then conducting a structural stability evaluation to ensure the optimal design plan.

Heading Control of a Turret Moored Offshore Structure Using Resolved Motion and Acceleration Control

  • This paper addresses the heading control of an offshore floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) using a resolved motion and acceleration control (RMAC) algorithm. A turret moored vessel tends to have the slewing motion. This slewing motion may cause a considerable decrease in working time in loading and unloading operation because the sloshing in the LNG containment tank might happen and/or the collision between FSRU and LNGC may take place. In order to deal with the downtime problem due to this slewing motion, a heading control system for the turret moored FSRU is developed, and a series of model tests with azimuth thrusters on the FSRU is conducted. A Kalman filter is applied to estimate the low-frequency motion of the vessel. The RMAC algorithm is employed as a primary heading control method and modified I-controller is introduced to reduce the steady-state errors of the heading of the FSRU.

  • 월성 원자력 발전소의 TRF 시설에서 수집된 트리튬을 metal hydride 형태로 보관하고 있는 500 kCi급 트리튬 1차 저장용기를 발전소 밖의 폐기물 저장고로 안전하게 운반하기 위하여 트리튬 운반용기를 개발하였다. B형 운반용기의 기술기준을 적용하여 구조평가, 열평가, 방사선차폐평가, 격납평가 등을 수행하여 운반용기의 안전성을 분석하였다. 트리튬 운반용기는 정상운반조건 및 사고운반조건에서도 격납 경계가 손상되지 않는다고 평가되었다. 붕괴열로 인한 운반용기 내부 저장용기의 온도상승은 수치해석 결과, 원통형 모델에서는 $134.8^{\circ}C$로 나타났다. 운반사고 조건에 대한 열 평가로서 $800^{\circ}C$ 외부환경에 30분간 노출되었을 경우에는 단열재만의 열차폐를 고려하여 계산한 결과, 약 $405^{\circ}C$로 나타났으며, 내부 온도 상승은 1차 격납 경계인 1차 저장용기의 허용 온도인 $550^{\circ}C$에도 미치지 못하였다. 격납 차폐 평가에서도 사고조건인 $800^{\circ}C$의 외부 환경에 노출된 경우에서도 충분히 운반용기의 격납 성능을 유지할 수 있다고 판단되었다. 방사선에 대한 차폐 특성을 조사한 결과, 트리튬에서 발생된 ${\beta}-ray$ 선량은 1차 저장용기 외부 표면에서 0으로 계산되었다. 이상과 같이 500 kCi 급 트리튬 운반용기에 대한 안전성을 평가한 결과, 운반사고조건에서도 트리튬 운반용기는 전혀 이상이 없는 것으로 나타났다.

  • DME(Dimethyl Ether) is the one of the massive energy sources synthesized from natural gas. KOGAS has already developed the commercial-scale production plant of DME and has been doing to obtain overseas resources to meet the domestic needs. This paper presents an experimental study on the evaporation phenomena of DME in FPSO or cargo vessel. The various moving motions, along with heat intake cause the evaporation of low temperature liquids in vessel's storage tank. The experimental result shows that the evaporation rate was changed with rolling degree and cycle and liquid level. The rolling motion leads to evaporate about 30~35% of total evaporation quantity and the rest amount from heat intake.

  • Our Country are called as a suzerain State of fermentation food, and preservative Technique was developed, because the specific character and the form of pottery were the best superior utensil of storage. The form couldn't give an explanation with scientifically, but we have used it for a few thousand years, which must get transformed from most compatible and reasonable form of fermentation. At present, a pottery was disappeared by the growth of the industrial society, and even the scientific form concealed it looks. For that reason, we apply the form into looks of a modernistic mechanism, and it intends to suggest a new direction to better the pottery of a formentation food.
