다축경편 복합재료의 거동에 관한 연구 (Mechanical Behaviors of Multi-Axial 'Warp Knitted Fabric Composites)

  • An analytical model using expanded bridging model was proposed to predict the elastic properties and behaviors of stitched multi-axial warp knitted (MWK) fabric composites, The characteristics of MWK fabric composites are the assemblage of multi-layers of fiber bundles for in-plane reinforcement and stitch yams for the through-the-thickness reinforcement. In the analysis, a representative volume of the MWK fabric composite was identified, The geometric limitations, effects of stitching yams and design parameters of MWK fabric composites were considered in the model. Then, the elastic properties and behaviors of MWK fabric composites were predicted, Finally, the results of proposed model of the composites were verified through the experiments, The predicted results were in fair agreement with the experimental results

  • In the manufacturing of large scale composite structures, the cost-effective processing and the enhancement of structural performance are critical. One of the most effective ways for this purpose is to use stitched multiaxial warp knitted (MWK) perform in the resin transfer molding process. This study reports the effect of stitching on the mechanical properties of MWK composites, and the feasibility processing of the thick U-beam structure utilizing the stitched preforms. Permeability of the preform, viscosity and cure property of the epoxy resin have been measured. The results of resin flow analysis has been used in determining the gate/vent locations of the RTM mold. Cross-sectional observation of the channel beam prototype demonstrated that the resin impregnation was almost complete, except for some surrounding area of stitched yarns.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop Blue-Jean Design for Ideal Body Shape. The final aim of Fashion design is looks beauty of people by optical illusion. This study is based on Gestalt therapy and, is blue jeans design using optical illusion of vertical line for ideal beauty body image. Optical illusion for blue-jean design effect to achieve the ideal body shape. We can accumulate the preceding study for modern clothing from design and the related optical illusion effects. Vertical line stitches have all the advantages especially in pants design. I design blue jeans using optical illusion theory. The results of this study are as follows: First, Vertical line helps that jean has the long body shape effectively. Second, Jeans which have two or more vertical lines is more effective than simple Jean in order to make slim body shape. Third, Appropriate position of horizontal lines can be effective to make long body shape. Fourth, Top stitch, pin-tuck and pleats can be applied to vertical or horizontal lines instead of cutting lines.

  • As rates of gastric cancer. fatness. and GERD (chronic gastric esophageal reflux disease) patients have been increased in the world, suturing mechanism using endoscope has been focused. which is the medical instrument to apply stitches and suturing inside the body, since it helps the patients lessen pains and reduce operation time. This paper deals with mechanism design, which makes it possible to apply multiple suturing without the repeat of inserting and removing the endoscope. This successive suture mechanism includes gripper, linkage, rotational part, and articulation part. Also, the mechanism is operated through 4mm one-side channel attached to the endoscope by means of pulling wires.

  • Our N.C. sewing machine is a device that acts sewing automatically in reference to N.C. data made by data input device. Our N.C. sewing mechine is composed of induction motor that has electric clutch and brake, step motor that drives x-y table. Sewing area of our machine is 170 mm * 100 mm, maximum sewing speed is about 2000 spm, maximum stitch length 6.2 mm. In actual sewing, synchronization between motion of needle up-down and motion of x-y table is a critical factor. In this paper, technology about synchronization will be profoundly discussed.

파노라마 모자익에서의 정확한 초점거리 복원을 위한 접합 신뢰도 측정방법 (Stitch Reliability Measurement for Recovering Accurate Camera Focal Length in Panoramic Mosaics)

  • 본 논문은 파노라마 모자익의 접합 질을 판단하기 위해 접합 신뢰도라는 수량적 기준을 제시한다. 또한, 파노라마의 자동 생성과 따른 시각화를 위해 필요한 초점거리 측정에 접합 신뢰도가 유용함을 보인다. 이미지로부터 초점거리를 복원하는 기존 방법은 일반적인 파노라마 모자익에서 나타나는 잘못 접합된 부분을 초점거리 계산에 포함하기 때문에 부정확하다는 단점이 있다. 제안 방법은 높은 접합 신뢰도를 가진 일정 개수의 이미지를 선별할 수 있기 때문에 초점거리를 따르고 정확하게 자동 측정한다. 접합의 신뢰도를 계산하기 위해, 제안 방법은 카메라 회전 움직임 제약조건의 만족 여부를 판단할 수 있는 특징점을 정의하고, 이 특징점의 이상적인 위치와 실제 위치의 차이를 계산한다. 본 논문에서 제시한 제약조건은 카메라의 자유 회전 움직임에서 항상 만족하고, 이는 수학적으로 증명된다. 마지막으로, 실험을 통해 제안 방법이 기존 방법보다 초점거리의 편차가 작다는 것을 보이고, 파노라마 모자익의 접합 질을 높인다는 것을 보인다.

시판 양말의 물성에 관한 소비과학적 검사 (End-Uses Studies on the Physical Chemical Properties of Socks in the Market)

  • Consumer consider the purpose for which they plan to use clothes when they purchase it, and the socks in textile products is evaluated in the same way. serviceability is judged by the extent to which the socks will be useful for its intended purpose. It should retain its original shape and size, good air permeability, good absorbency, good abrasion resistance, high fastness etc. Owing to importance of serviceability in socks, in this paper, these end-use requirement characteristics were tested. The results obtained were as follows: 1. Blend ratios were different between the indicated fiber contents on labels and the testing ones. 2. Air permeability was higher in the samples which contain less stitch density, and hydroscopicity was higher in those which contain natural fibers such as cotton and wool. 3. Shrinkage depended on the blend ratios of cotton and wool, and elastic recovery was better in the course direction than in the wale direction. 4. Pilling was conspicuous in the synthetic fibers such as polyester and nylon, and fastness of laundering and perspiration was higher in the fading grade than in the staining grade.

재봉바늘의 열발생에 미치는 편성물봉제조건의 영향 (Effects of Sewing Conditions for Knitted Fabric on the Heat Generation of Sewing Needle)

  • The heat of sewing needle is generated through the friction during the needle penetration into and withdrawal from fabrics. Therefore, effects of sewing condition for knitted fabric on the heat generation of needle was examined. The needle size was not the large influence factor of heat generation of needle but the needle point shape significantly affects needle temperature. And the super needle coated with fluoro resin had more effect on reducing the heat of needle. The decrease of sewing speed and the increase of stitch rate had more effect on the reduction in needle temperature. Also the Influence of a sewing thread on the needle temperature was very large compared with bare needle. As expected, an increase in the number of fabric layers result in higher needle temperature.

Mechanical Properties of Breathable Waterproof Fabrics with Seaming and Sealing Processes

  • Waterproof fabrics are seamed and sealed by waterproof sealing tape to prevent water from penetrating through the stitch holes. As this process may change the mechanical properties of breathable waterproof fabric related to its deformation with human body, the changes in mechanical properties were investigated. In both of parallel and perpendicular directions, tensile characteristics were remarkably changed with seaming and sealing processes. The increase of LT and WT means that the clothing sealed by waterproofing tape may produce somewhat discomfort feeling. On the other hand, the bridge of the sewing thread seemed to be reinforced by waterproofing tape. Shear characteristics such as G, 2HG, and 2HG5 gradually increased with seaming and sealing processes in parallel direction. However, they decreased with sealing process in perpendicular direction because the seam line would work as an axis located at the center of the testing range.

  • We experienced 6 patients with the sinus Valsalva aneurysm rupture during last 12 years [Jan. 1977-Sep. 1989]. Of them. 5 cases were reviewed. They consist of 3 males and 2 females, and the age ranged from 12 years to 40 years with the mean age of 25 years. 4 patients showed congestive heart failure symptoms. The diagnosis was made by 2D-Echo and cine-angiogram. In 4 patients. sinus Valsalva aneurysm ruptured from the Rt. coronary sinus to the Rt. ventricle, and in one from non-coronary sinus to the Rt. atrium. In 2 cases, resection of the aneurysm and simple stitch closure was made. Resection of the aneurysm k patch closure and AVR in one, closure of the fistula, AVR and patch closure of the associated VSD in one, and closure of the fistula, AVR k TVR in one were made in another 3 cases. There was no postoperative mortality case.
