스무즈 임팩트 구동 메커니즘을 이용한 초정밀 회전장치에 관한 연구 (A Study on Ultra Precision Rotational Device Using Smooth Impact Drive Mechanism)

  • This paper represents an ultra precision rotational device where the smooth impact drive mechanism (SIDM) is utilized as driving mechanism. Linear motions of piezoelectric elements are converted to the rotational motion of disk by frictional forces generated between the rotational disk and the friction part that is attached to the piezoelectric element. This device was designed to drive the rotational disk using slip-slip motion mechanism instead of stick-slip motion mechanism occurred in conventional impact drive mechanism. Experimental results show that the angular velocity is increased in proportion to the magnitude and frequency of supplied voltage to piezoelectric element and decreased as the preload is increased. In our device, the smooth rotational motion was obtained when the driving frequency has been reached to 500Hz under the driving voltage of 100V.

  • In this study, the loader was completed that has 4-wheel gear driven drivetrain of study (Ⅰ), the 4-wheel steering with power wheel type, all-wheel traction system, and joy-stick type lever for hydraulic control valve. From driving test of the developed 4WD and 4WS type loader, we obtained that the minimum circling radius and the necessary width in circling motion reduced about 40% and 33% compared with 2WS type loader. Also, all-wheel traction system could keep the tires glued to the ground with greater stability, the power steering allowed a smoother operation, and the joy-stick type lever offered easily to control. Thus, the developed loader having these functions was very fit in a small cattle shed or rugged ground.

스풀 액추에이터의 노치 특성 (Notch Characteristics of Spool Actuator)

  • This paper presents the fluid characteristics of the spool actuator used for construction vehicles. A spool actuator is used for directional control of pressurized fluid and has a roll to lock the fluid flow. It is important to design the spool actuator optimally because this actuator is actuated in the sleeve by sliding motion and has some critical design parameters such as stick-slip, leakage and shock pressure. The parameters like stick-slip and leakage can be solved by precision manufacturing but the shock pressure which is taken place when the fluid direction is changed needs the parameter analysis procedure throughly. In this study, mathematical modeling and 2 & 3 phase flow dynamics analysis of the spool actuator were achieved. Using suggested model, all possible operating conditions were analyzed.

마찰보상을 통한 서어보제어계의 정밀 안정화 제어 (Precision Stabilization Control of Servo-system by Using Friction Compensation)

  • This paper presents a stabilization control designed to improve position stabilization performance of a position servo-system(turret) mounted on a manuvering platform(vehicle). In the consideration of the motion of the platform, a dynamic model of the stabilization system is derived and shows the viscous and stick-slip friction torques are the major source of stabilization errors. An extended generalized minimum variance control which consists of a feedforward disturbance compensation as well as a pole placement feedback control is suggested to reduce the stabilization errors caused from the friction disturbances. This modeling and control are applied to a small experimental set-up and the experimental results confirm the accuracy of the model and the effectiveness of the suggested control.

  • 본 논문에서는 Kinect 센서를 사용하여 인체의 특정 동작들을 감지하여 휴머노이드 로봇을 제어하는 방법을 소개한다. Kinect 센서의 depth 센서의 출력을 처리하여 인체의 각 joint 부분을 나타내는 인체 모형을 완성하였다. 인체 모형의 각 부분의 거리 및 각도를 계산하여 특정 동작을 검출하였으며 로봇에게 제어 명령을 블루투스 무선통신을 사용하여 전송한다.

  • An adaptive neural network compensator for stick-slip friction phenomena in servo systems is proposed to supplement the traditionally available position and velocity control loops for precise motion control. The neural network compensator plays a role of canceling the effect of nonlinear slipping friction force. This enables the mechatronic systems more precise control and realistic design in the digital computer. It was confirmed that the control accuracy is more improved near zero velocity and the points of changing the moving direction through numerical simulation

Pre-Sliding Friction Control Using the Sliding Mode Controller with Hysteresis Friction Compensator

  • Friction phenomenon can be described as two parts, which are the pre-sliding and sliding regions. In the motion of the sliding region, the friction force depends on the velocity of the system and consists of the Coulomb, stick-slip, Streibeck effect and viscous frictions. The friction force in the pre-sliding region, which occurs before the breakaway, depends on the position of the system. In the case of the motion of the friction in the sliding region, the LuGre model describes well the friction phenomenon and is used widely to identify the friction model, but the motion of the friction in the pre-sliding such as hysteresis phenomenon cannot be expressed well. In this paper, a modified friction model for the motion of the friction in the pre-sliding region is suggested which can consider the hysteresis phenomenon as the Preisach model. In order to show the effectiveness of the proposed friction model, the sliding mode controller (SMC) with hysteresis friction compensator is synthesized for a ball-screw servo system.

This device was designed to drive a rotational disk using slip-slip motion mechanism based on stick-slip motion mechanism. Experimental results show that the angular velocity was increased in proportion to the magnitude of supplied voltage to piezoelectric element. In our device, the smooth rotational motion was obtained when the driving frequency has been reached to 500Hz under the driving voltage of 100V. The amount of step movement has been revealed to be $3.44{\times}10^{-4}$ radian.

  • The errors in machining process by CNC machining center are due to many elements, such as the delay of the servo drivers, friction and the gain mismatch between x-axis and y-axis motors and so on. We made a counter circuit to measure the output of motor encoders for the motion error analysis of a CNC machining center, and have measured the errors experimentally when the CNC performs a circular interpolation. We have also used an iterative learning method to reduce the radius errors and stick motion errors generated by the CNC machining center performing a circular interpolation. The proposed learning scheme worked well and the circle obtained has smaller error.

고속 개폐 시뮬레이션을 위한 진공 회로차단기의 동적 모델 및 해석 (Dynamic Model and Analysis of a Vacuum Circuit Breaker Mechanism for High-Speed Closing and Opening Simulations)

  • The dynamic model of a high-speed vacuum circuit breaker mechanism with spring-actuated cam and linkage is derived to simulate the high-speed closing and opening operations. Its validation for an analysis of high-speed motion behavior is checked through experiments. The characteristics of the friction on the camshaft are investigated using the nonlinear pendulum experiment. The parameters of the friction model are estimated using the optimization technique. The analysis exhibits that the friction of the pendulum depends on stick-slip, Stribeck effect and viscous damping. Comparing simulation results with actual responses using a high-speed camera, the appropriateness of derived dynamic models for the rapid closing and opening operations is shown. The spring motion, which has much influence on the closing responses, is observed.
