Optimal servo control of pneumatic actuator with time-delay (공기압 액츄에이터의 시간지연을 고려한 최적 서보제어)

  • In this paper trajectory tracking control problems are described for a robot manipulator by using pneumatic actuator. Under the assumption that the so-called independent joint control is applied to the control system, the dynamic model for each link is identified as a linear second-order system with input time-delay by the step response. Then, an optimal servo controller is designed by taking account of such a time-delay. The effectiveness of the proposed control method is illustrated through some simulations and experiments for the robot manipulator.

  • A flexible reflective cholesteric liquid crystal display (ChLCD) is fabricated on plastic substrates by using the pixel isolation method. The polymer walls between pixels and the polymer layers in the pixels are formed by two-step UV irradiation. Electro-optical response of the ChLCD with polymer wall and layer is studied and compared with conventional bistable ChLCD cells.

  • Robust fuzzy logic control, PID control, and sliding mode controllers are designed to control the speed of a third order linear time-invariant model of a motor. The step response performance of each controller, applied to the motor plant, is Presented. We conclude fuzzy logic control can be a useful tool for the control engineering.

  • This paper discusses the possibility of applying fuzzy logic controller in a microprocessor - based servomotor controller, such as servomotor position controller, which requires faster and more accurate response compared with other industrial processes. According to the fuzzy control rule made by tie analysis of error and error change, one Look-up table that contains various quantized step is made and appropriate initial error change is selected to the good responses.

  • The objective of this study is to develop a microcomputer-based adaptive controller for an electro hydraulic velocity control system subjected to the variation of system parameters. The step response performance of the system with the adaptive controller is investigated for the variation of the external load torque, the moment of inertia and the reference inputs, and compared with that obtained by PID controller whose gains are constant. The experimental results show that this proposed model reference adaptive controller is robust to the variation of system parameters and yield much better control performance compared with the conventionel PID controller.

  • In this paper, we implement PAMD(Positive Answering Machine Detection) for discrimination human and ARS. We are used Grunt detection, Glitch Noise detection and Tone detection for PAMD. It distinguishes voice signals from ring-back tone and glitch noise respectively. And as a second step, it judges whether human responses or ARS responses after integrating pattern changes like initial response period, the number of voice data, each time of voice data period and glitch noise. The accuracy is about 9375 in ASR and about 98% in Mobile phone.

  • The position error in multi-axis machine tools are due to many elements, such as the static friction, servo lag, a nonlinear disturbance, the gain mismatch between multi-axis controllers. In the work, modeling for the plant was carried out through the velocity response by the step input signal. Digital PI controllers, LQ optimal controllers and feedforward controllers are designed for a high tracking performance based on the model. The results of experimentation showed that the controllers worked properly.

  • There are two important variables in machining process control, which are feed and cutting speed. It is possible to improve the machining accuracy and the productivity by maintaining the optimal feed and cutting speed. IN this work, a controller is designed to achieve on-line cutting force control based on the modeling of cutting process dynamics established through step response test. Two schemes are proposed and implemented. The first is feed control under the constant spindle speed and the second is spindle speed control under the constant feed. Finally, both are proved to work properly through simulation and experimentation.

  • Trajectory tracking control problems are described for a two-link robot manipulator with artificial rubber muscle actuators. Under the assumption that the so-called independent joint control is applied to the control system, the dynamic model for each link is identified as a linear second-order system with time-lag by the step response. Two control laws such as the feedforward and the computed torque control methods, are experimentally applied for controlling the circular trajectory of an actual robot manipulator.

  • In this paper, four quadrant CBPS(Compact Bipolar Power Supply) which development and study using universal PWM controller. The CBPS has 24V DC-link voltage, +/-5A output current, 50kHz switching frequency and 30Hz full load bandwidth using FET device. Proposed system has two independent PWM controllers for each full-bridge switch leg drive and PI control loops for current regulations. It is shown experimental results that good step response of the current output.
