  • Switched Reluctance Motor has advantages such as simple structure, low cost and so on compared with induction motor. Efficiency is higher than induction motor, so there is beneficial cost. Also torque character has essential character of superiority step motor and a DC motor character that depends on variable speed. This paper presented the research of speed and current control system of SRM using the DSP. At first, a simulation model on Matlab/simulink was performed. SRM speed control algorithm investigated the control method. Then driver and control system developed to do experiment.

  • The claw-pole PM(Permanent Magnet) stepping motor has the advantage of the positioning machine because of a relatively little step angle, facility of control, and detent torque characteristics. Although the research about this motor has been progressed, it was difficult to analyze because of three-dimensional magnetic circuit. This paper proposed a design method of the claw-pole PM stepping motor using 3D-FEA. We established design variables that have an important effect upon the characteristics of the motor, and then peformed analysis of the static and the dynamic characteristics. We also manufactured the test products and practiced the performance tests for verification of the analysis results.

편측 뇌손상 환자의 동측 운동 결함에 대한 고찰 (Ipsilateral Motor Deficit in Patients with Unilateral Brain Damage)

  • Recently, several investigations revealed that after unilateral brain damage, movement abnormalities were exposed on the ipsilateral side as well as the upper extremity contralateral to the damaged hemisphere. Even the motor abilities had significantly recovered from ipsilateral motor deficits on not only simple sensoriomotor function, also clinical assessments since subacute stage, although could not completely returned. Such motor deficits were detected in a diversity of motor tasks depending on the interhemispheric specialization, further in clinical evaluation and a daily of activities. In the clinical features, muscular weakness, sensory loss and impaired manual dexterity were observed. In a laboratory experiment, there were increasing evidences that the kinematic processing deficits was founded in various-specific motor tasks, which ranged from simple basic element to complex tasks, such as tapping task, step-tracking, goal directional aiming task, and iso(and non-)directional interlimb coordination. In the point of view, the manifest understanding in related to ipsilateral deficits provide the clinicians with an important information for scientific management about brain injured patient's prognosis and therapeutic guidelines.

물 순환 시스템용 BLDCM의 센서리스 제어 방식에 따른 출력 특성 비교 (Output Characteristic Comparison of BLDC Motor for Water Circulation System According to Sensorless Control Methods)

  • The sensorless control of blushless DC motor(BLDCM) is based on the $120^{\circ}$ control in which the back electromotive force(Back EMF) for estimating the position of the rotor can be detected. However, the $120^{\circ}$ control has a disadvantage that the torque constant is small as compared with $180^{\circ}$ control which can not detect the back EMF. The $150^{\circ}$ control which complements these problems makes it possible to detect the back EMF and improve the torque constant by 12.5% compared to the $120^{\circ}$ control. Therefore, this paper compares the output characteristics of BLDCM through finite element method analysis (FEA) by the conventional and proposed control methods of BLDCM for water circulation system and proposes design for downsizing and weight reduction of BLDCM according to secured torque constant. The validity of the proposed control and design proposal is proved through simulation and experimental results by comparing the output characteristics of $120^{\circ}$ control and $150^{\circ}$ control.

3상 전원 조건의 모터 구동 인버터 내압 저감을 위한 공진 강압형 DC/DC 컨버터 (Resonant Step-Down DC/DC Converter to Reduce Voltage Stresses of Motor Driving Inverter under 3-phase AC Utility Line Condition)

  • This paper presents a resonant step-down DC/DC converter to reduce the voltage stresses of a 3-phase inverter module under the three-phase AC utility line condition. Under this condition, a conventional 3-phase inverter module suffers from high voltage stresses as a result of the high rectified DC link voltage; hence, a high-cost high-voltage-rating inverter module must be used. However, using the proposed converter, a low-cost low-voltage-rating inverter module may be adopted to drive the motor even under the 3-phase AC line condition. The proposed converter, which can be realized with small size inductor and low-voltage-rating semiconductor devices, operates at a high-efficiency mode because of the zero-current switching operations of all the semiconductor devices. The operational principles are explained and a design example is provided in the study. Experimental results demonstrate the validity of the proposed converter.

Precise open-loop positioning using LPM with error correction

  • A precise open-loop positioning system using linear pulse motor has been developed. The system is operated in a microstepping mode by controlling the electric current. One step of 508 .mu.m (tooth pitch of the linear pulse motor) is divided into 508 micro-steps equally. The displacement is measured with a system using a Fiezeau-type interferometer. Periodical positioning error with a period of the tooth pitch was observed in this system. Therefore, the position is corrected using the error. The error is stored into computer in advance, and the microstep current is corrected on basis of the stored data. Although the positioning error of the system without the correction was .+-.4.5 .mu.m, that with the correction was decreased to .+-.1.0 .mu.m.

Design and Torque Ripple Analysis of Brush-less DC Motor According to Delta Winding Connection

  • In this study, we describe the design method of a Brush-less DC (BLDC) motor with delta winding connection. After designing delta winding connection model with the $60^{\circ}$ flat-top region of the Back Electro-Motive Force (BEMF), an ideal current source analysis and a voltage source analysis, with a 6-step control, were conducted primarily employing Finite Element Method. In addition, as a current controller, we considered the Current Regulator with PI controller using Simulink for the comparison of torque characteristics. When the input current is controlled, the switching regions and reference signals are determined by means of the phase BEMF zero-crossing point. In reality, the input current variation depends on the inductance as well as input voltage, and it causes a torque ripple after all. Therefore, each control method considered in this research showed different torque ripple results. Based on the comparison, the causes of the torque ripple have been verified in detail.

  • LMTT(Linear Motor-based Transfer Technology) is horizontal transfer system in the maritime container terminal for the port automation. The system is modeled PMLSM(Permanent Magnetic Linear Synchronous Motor) that is consists of stator modules on the rail and shuttle car(mover). Because of large variant of movers weight by loading and unloading containers, the difference of each characteristic of stator modules, and a stator module's default etc., LMCS(Linear Motor Conveyance System) is considered as that the system is changed its model suddenly and variously. In this paper, we will introduce the soft-computing method of a multi-step prediction control for LMCS using DR-FNN(Dynamically Constructed Recurrent Fuzzy Neural Network). The proposed control system is used two networks for multi-step prediction. Consequently, the system has an ability to adapt for external disturbance, cogging force, force ripple, and sudden changes of itself.

유효 주파수 선택과 선형판별분석기법을 이용한 유도전동기 고장진단 시스템 (Induction Motor Diagnosis System by Effective Frequency Selection and Linear Discriminant Analysis)

  • 본 논문에서는 3상 유도전동기의 고장진단을 수행하기 위해 상호정보량과 선형판별분석기법에 기반을 둔 진단 알고리즘을 제안한다. 실험 장치는 유도전동기 구동의 기계적 모듈과 고장신호를 구하기 위한 데이터 획득 모듈로 구성하였다. 제안된 방법은 취득된 전류신호를 DFT에 의해 주파수 영역으로 변환한 후 분산정보를 이용하여 고장상태별로 차별성이 큰 순서대로 유효 주파수 성분을 추출한다. 다음 단계로 선택된 주파수 성분에 대해서 선형판별분석기법을 적용하여 고장상태별 특징들을 추출한 후 k-NN 분류기에 의해 유도전동기의 상태를 진단하게 된다. 제안된 방법의 타당성을 보이기 위해 다양한 조건하에서 실험한 결과 기존방법에 비하여 우수한 결과를 나타냈다.

  • 本 論文은 마이크로컴퓨터를 利用한 PM스템모터의 디지털位置制御시스템으로 旣存의 位置制御시스템의 多數의 로직回路를 줄이고 logic function을 소프트웨어로 代替하기 위한 알고리즘을 開發하고 이 알고리즘을 만족시키는 프로그램을 作成하여 EPROM에 내장시켜 디지털位置制御시스템을 構成하고 實驗을 통하여 시스템의 妥當性을 立證하였다.
