CubeSats classified as pico-class satellite require a ground station to track the satellite, transmit a command, and receive an on-orbit data such as SOH (State-of-Health) and mission data according to the operation plan. For this, ground station system has to be properly designed to perform a communication to with the satellite with enough up- and down-link budgets. In this study, a conceptual design of the ground station has been performed for the CubeSat named as STEP Cube Lab. (Cube Laboratory for Space Technology Experimental Project). The paper includes a ground station hardware interface design, link budget analysis and a ground station software realization. In addition, the operation plan of the ground station has been established considering the STEP Cube Lab. mission requirements.
This paper deals with scheduling problems which are the most important subtask in High-Level Synthesis. Especially, we have concentrated our attentions on the data-path scheduling which can get the structural informaion trom the behavioral algorithm as a first step in synthesis procedure.
Suggest Forward scheduling methode is executed the ASAP and ALAP scheduling to use the fifth - order elliptic wave filter of a standard benchmark moedl, and then it is drawing up T.N matrix table by the number resource and control-step, using the table extract of the simple than down-limit value of the control-step for the number of given resource th use this table.
All of existing list scheduling techniques determine the priority function first, and then do the operation scheduling, But, the suggested forward scheduling technique does the schedule first, and determines the priority functions if needed in scheduling process.

In order for the application of the in-vivo endoscopic biopsy, a micromirror which can be driven at a low voltage is required. In this paper, a two-step micromirror composed of bottom electrodes, moving plate and top mirror plate is proposed. Because an electrical wiring of two plates are separated, they can be actuated separately. Therefore, an intermediate moving plate plays an important role in reducing the driving voltage in half. The designed device was fabricated by the surface micromachining. Maximum rotation angle of $6.3^{\circ}$ was obtained by applying DC 48V, while a conventional one-step mirror pulled down at DC 120V. The designed structure can be used in microphotonic applications requiring low driving voltage.

STEP-NC is the next generation CNC controller taking STEP-based data model as the interface scheme (or language) between CAM and CNC, and carrying out various intelligent functions. At the moment, efforts are being made worldwide to establish international standard for the new interface scheme formalized as ISO14649. As the new language is being established, increasing attention is being paid to the development of the new CNC. Korea STEP-NC is an integrated STEP-NC system taking ISO 14649 as an input, and carrying out various intelligent functions. It is composed of 5 modules: 1) Shop Floor Programming System (PosSFP), 2) Tool Path Generator (PosTPG), 3) Tool Path Viewer (PosTPV), 4) Man Machine Interface (PosMMI), and 5) CNC Kernel (PosCNC). Distinguished from other prototypes (of Europe and USA), the Korea STEP-NC is top-down designed, and bottom-up implemented comprehensively incorporating all the crucial components for realizing the full benefit of STEP-NC paradigm, without using any existing commercial CAD/CAM systems and CNC kernels. The Korea STEP-NC prototype was successfully demonstrated and evaluated in the ISO conventions Together with prototypes of Europe and USA, Korea STEP-NC will be used as a reference system fur the Triangular Conformance Test to be jointly carried out by ISO TC184 SC1, SC4, and IMS Project.
We have designed and fabricated a low power and high linearity up down convertor for wireless repeaters using $0.35{\mu}m$ SiGe Bipolar CMOS technology. Repeater is composed of a wideband up/down converting mixer, programmable gain amplifiers (PGA), input buffer, LO buffer, filter driver amplifier and integer-N phase locked loop (PLL). As of the measurement results, OIP3 of the down conversion mixer and up conversion mixer are 32 dBm and 17.8 dBm, respectively. The total dynamic gain range is 31 dB with 1 dB gain step resolution. The adjacent channel leakage ratio (ACLR) is 59.9 dBc. The total power consumption is 240 mA at 3.3 V.

Background: Individuals with Down syndrome present with several impairments such as hypotonia, ligament laxity, decreased muscle strength, insufficient muscular cocontraction, inadequate postural control, and disturbed proprioception. These factors are responsible for the developmental challenges faced by children with Down syndrome. These individuals also present with balance dysfunctions. Purpose: This systematic review aims to describe the motor dysfunction and balance impairments in children and adolescents with Down syndrome. Methods: We searched the Scopus, ScienceDirect, MEDLINE, Wiley, and EBSCO databases for observational studies evaluating the motor abilities and balance performance in individuals with Down syndrome. The review was registered on PROSPERO. Results: A total of 1,096 articles were retrieved; after careful screening and scrutinizing against the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 10 articles were included in the review. Overall, the children and adolescents with Down syndrome showed delays and dysfunction in performing various activities such as sitting, pulling to stand, standing, and walking. They also presented with compensatory mechanisms to maintain their equilibrium in static and dynamic activities. Conclusion: The motor development of children with Down syndrome is significantly delayed due to structural differences in the brain. These individuals have inefficient compensatory strategies like increasing step width, increasing frequency of mediolateral center of pressure displacement, decreasing anteroposterior displacement, increasing trunk stiffness, and increasing posterior trunk displacement to maintain equilibrium. Down syndrome presents with interindividual variations; therefore, a thorough evaluation is required before a structured intervention is developed to improve motor and balance dysfunction.
Binarization of document images is a critical pre-processing step required for character recognition. Even though various research efforts have been devoted, the quality of binarization results largely depends on the noise amount and condition of images. We propose a new binarization method that combines Maximally Stable External Region(MSER) with down-sampling. Particularly, we propose to apply different threshold values for character regions, which turns out to be effective in reducing noise. Through a set of experiments on test images, we confirmed that the proposed method was superior to existing methods in reducing noise, while the increase of execution time is limited.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of changing the steps height on the joint moment of lower extremity in stair-descent activity of elderly persons. Data were collected by 3-D cinematography and force platform. 9 male elderly subjects in the 60s and 70s participated in this study. All subjects performed a stair-descent in four different heights of stairs (10, 14, 18, 22cm) having 5 step staircase. The results were as follows. 1. For the step height of 22cm the maximum. plantarflexion moment was the smallest and the largest for the step height of 14cm. 2. There was not a statistical difference shown for the extension moment of the knee joint for the different height of steps. 3. There was not a statistical difference shown for the flexion moment of the hip joint for the varying height of steps but on average for the 18cm step this increased rapidly. 4. The smallest maximum. value for inversion moment was revealed for the step height of 10cm and this increased significantly for the step height of 22cm. 5. The smallest maximum. value for abduction moment of the hip joint was revealed for the step height of 10cm and this increased significantly for the step height of 22cm. 6. There was no significant difference shown for the maximum. abduction moment for the hip joint. The main conclusion is that there is a huge difference in the moment of the lower extremities for the elderly while walking down a stairs with a step height above 18 cm and that this moment increased or decreased rapidly under a condition of step height being 22cm. With the results from this research and related research of elderly walking upstairs it can be shown that the step height has a large role in the safety for the elderly.
