TIRE MESH 모델을 활용한 랙추력 추정법 개발 (Rack Force Estimation Method using a Tire Mesh Model)

  • In this paper, a new estimation method is proposed to calculate steering rack axial force using a 3 dimensional tire mesh model when a car is standing on the road. This model is established by considering changes of camber angle and contact patch between the tires and the ground according to steering angle. The steering rack bar axial force is estimated based on the static equilibrium equations of forces and moments. A tire friction force is supposed to act on the center point of the contact patch, and the proportional coefficient of friction depending on contact patch is suggested. Using the proposed estimation method, rack axial force sensitivity analysis is evaluated according to changes of suspension geometry. Then optimal motor power of Motor Driven Power Steering(MDPS) is evaluated using suggested rack forces.

  • When a ship is course-keeping in the open seas, autopilot system is adapted. The design of autopilot system is very important for improvement of ship′s element research. Automatic steering system consists of autopilot device, power unit, steering gear, magnetic or gyro compass and ship dynamics. In order to evaluate automatic steering system of ships in open seas. we need to know the characteristics of each component of the system, and also to know the characteristics of disturbance to ship dynamics. In this paper, I provide evaluation method of autopilot navigation system of the fishing ship. Prediction method based on the principle of linear superposition is introduced for irregular disturbance. For the evaluation of automatic steering system of a ship, "performance index" is introduced from the viewpoint of energy saving and calculation method is frequency response analysis. Finally, I carried out calculation of sensitivity of control constants of autopilot with various conditions of ocean environments.

동작분석기법을 이용한 조향동작에 대한 팔의 생체역학적 특성분석 (Biomechanical Analysis of Arm Motion during Steering Using Motion Analysis Technique)

  • 본 논문은 장비의 동작분석기법을 이용하여 운전자가 핸들을 돌릴 때 팔의 관절 운동에 대한 생체역학적 해석을 수행하였다. 모형 운전석에서 운전자가 핸들을 돌릴 때 모션 캡쳐(motion capture) 시스템을 이용하여 팔의 3차원 운동궤적을 구하고, 이 결과를 이용하여 팔의 근-골격계 모델에 대한 역기구학 해석과 역동역학 해석을 수행함으로써 팔 관절의 변위와 관절 토크의 크기를 계산하였다. 각 관절의 회전 운동은 동시에 복합적으로 발생하며, 관절 운동의 크기의 관점에서 팔꿈치 관절의 회내-회외, 어깨 관절의 내전-외전, 굴곡-신전, 손목 관절의 굴곡-신전 등이 주요한 운동임을 확인할 수 있었다. 모형 운전석의 운전 자세, 핸들의 각도 및 좌석에 대한 상대적 위치와 관련된 설계변수에 대한 관절운동의 민감도 해석을 통하여 운전 자세와 핸들의 위치가 조향 동작에 미치는 영향을 정량적으로 분석하였다.

  • The abnormal vibration from the BTV(Brake Torque Variation) and DTV(Disc Thickness Variation) is transferred to the suspension and steering system during braking. In this paper, judder simulation is carried out using multi-body dynamic analysis program to analyze the relation of the judder and transfer mechanism which is composed of the suspension and steering system. In order to analyze the brake judder transfer system, the full vehicle model was composed with rigid body, non-linear bushing, non-linear constraints and joints. Full vehicle model analysis was compared by actual vehicle judder test and sensitivity analysis of the suspension system is carried out.

튜너 내장 자동차 조향호스의 해석 모델과 실용적 응용 (On the Analytical Model of Automotive Steering Hoses Containing Tuner and Its Practical Application)

  • This study presents an analytical model of an automotive steering hose containing tuner(flexible spiral metal tube) to reduce the ripple pressure induced by steering vane pump. The double-wall side branch composed in a steering hose containing tuner was analogically considered as a filter in a conduit. Specialized test equipment was manufactured for the estimation of speed of sound in a conduit and measurement of amplitude ratio between the propagated ripple pressures of inlet and outlet of the steering hose. Experimental data of entire frequency ranges can be obtained through the test once in short time. The results of three points' measurement method and cross-correlation method to estimate the speeds of sound in a hose, tuner, and side branch respectively reveal that cross-correlation method can be used practically. The results of simulation and experiment were so close, especially in the range of engine idling speed, that the proposed analytical model in this study was validated. Sensitivity analyses and experiments show that longer tuner is preferable, and that the positive-positive composition of the steering hoses containing tuner is superior to others to attenuate ripple pressure.

전자식 조향장치를 위한 조향 센서 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on Development of Steering Sensor for Electronic Power Steering)

  • In this paper, for the first time a new type of narrow-range angle sensor based on inductive effect is introduced and studied. A prototype steering angle sensor is also designed and fabricated to compare the characteristics of the four methods from the viewpoints of sensitivity, linearity and resolution, angle range of the sensor output. This sensor is designed to be sensitive to very small resolution in angle with detected range is scaled down to about 12bit. An intensive investigation has been carried out to study the behaviors of the sensor and optimize its performance by signal compensation. These behaviors are discussed and explained using an analytical and experimental testings. Moreover, Application possibility of the sensor are proposed and a demo device based on the sensor is presented.

EPS 어시스트 토크에 의한 온 센터 조타감 성능지수 영향도 분석 (Effects of EPS Assist Torque on On-center Steering Feel Indices)

  • On-center handling feel indices are the important numerical factors that meaning performance of manuability and stability felt by drivers. They should be considered to suspension design. The major factor that affect to these indices is the shape of assist torque curve. This paper presents the variables that meaning the shape of the assist torque curve and analyze the effect of each variables. And using interaction formulas, it is proposed that the method to extract the variables that satisfy the goal indices. The result of simulation that applied assist torque curve extracted by the method demonstrate the capability of this method with error under 8%.

후유리체박리 환자에서 눈방향전환 초광각안저촬영술의 유용성 (Ultra-wide Field Fundus Photography Using Eye Steering Technique in Patients with Symptomatic Posterior Vitreous Detachment)

  • 목적: 증상이 있는 후유리체박리 환자에서 망막열공을 진단하기 위한 초광각안저촬영기의 눈방향전환 촬영술의 유용성을 알아보고자 하였다. 대상과 방법: 비문증 또는 광시증으로 내원하여 후유리체박리를 진단받은 환자의 의무기록을 후향적으로 조사하였다. 초광각안저촬영술의 눈방향전환 촬영 사진 4장을 이용하여 독립적으로 망막열공을 확인하였고, 눈방향전환 초광각안저촬영술의 망막열공 진단에 대한 민감도와 특이도를 구하였다. 결과: 총 94명의 94안이 연구에 포함되었다. 산동 후 시행한 안저검사에서 42안(45%)이 망막열공을 진단받았다. 망막열공 진단에 대한 눈방향전환 초광각안저촬영술의 민감도는 98% (95% 신뢰구간 88-100%), 특이도는 98% (95% 신뢰구간 90-100%)였다. 전체 망막열공 58개 중에 눈방향전환 초광각안저촬영술에서 상측 28개(97%)와 하측 10개(100%), 비측 6개(100%), 이측 13개(100%)의 망막열공이 확인되었다. 결론: 눈방향전환 초광각안저촬영술은 증상이 있는 후유리체박리 환자에서 망막열공을 진단하는 데 유용하다. 그렇지만 모든 증례에서 산동 후 안저검사를 대체할 수는 없었다.

QFT를 이용한 냉간 압연시스템의 조타유도형 웹 위치제어 (Steering-Type Web Position Control of Cold Mills Using QFT)

  • A new steering-type web position control system for cold mills using QFT is presented. The control system features an inner-outer cascaded system in which the inner loop provides the position tracking control of hydraulic system and the outer loop provides the position regulation control of the web. By the sensitivity analysis and computer simulation, it is verified that the proposed control system has better robust stability and performance than the conventional PH) control system.

  • This paper, we describe the vector control of surface mounted PMSM (Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) using the fuzzy controller which is suggested algorithm. In these days, when vehicle is operated or not, whether the road is covered or not, the sensitivity of the steering column is not stable. To make up for it, the PI gain of a steering column controller is adjusted by experience. It becomes the price because it need a lot of sensor. Also it is difficult to implement robust control because we need a lot of parameters for variable road conditions which are the off road, the on road, a low battery voltage, a high battery voltage, a vehicle speed. In this paper, we propose fuzzy controller using the suggested algorithm which suitable for steering system. We test the fuzzy controller with the various condition. We get the good performance of fuzzy controller even if it is nonlinear system. We check a robust the fuzzy controller using the suggested algorithm.
