P-라인을 이용한 압력제어방식 CVT 변속비제어밸브 설계 (Design of Ratio Control Valve for a Pressure Control Type CVT Using P-Line)

  • In this paper, a pressure control type ratio control valve(RCV) is designed for a metal belt CVT. Steady state and transient characteristics of the pressure control CVT are investigated by simulations and experiments. In addition, P-line is proposed to predict the shift performance. It is found that the bigger the pressure margin, the faster the shift response. It is expected that the P-line can be used in design of the RCV to meet the desired shift performance.

  • This paper proposes new position control method for DC servo motor by PI controller adopting sliding mode control. By adding sliding mode controller to conventional PI controller good robustness is obtained with good transient response and no steady state error which are merits in PI controller. In order to use microprocessor for digital control the principles of sliding mode control conventionally explained in continous-time system are extended to discrete-time system.

  • Several model order reduction methods for large RLC circuits have been developed in the last few years. Krylop subspace based methods are extremely effective for generating the low order models of large system but there is no optimal theory for the resulting models. Alternatively, methods based truncated balanced realization have an optimality property but are too computationally expensive to use on complicated problems such as large RLC circuits.   • This paper gives a simulation study of a new fuzzy logic control(FLC) approach for the mold level control in continuous casting processes. The proposed FLC is PID type hybridizing the conventional fuzzy PI control and Fuzzy PD control with a simplified design scheme. It is shown that, compared with the conventional control, this new control strategy can achieve superior performance for steady-state response and is more robust against process parameter variations and disturbances.

  • Pneumatic control system has been used mainly for endpoint position control because of the compressibility, viscosity and low output stiffness of air which causes nonlinear flow characteristics. In this paper, pneumatic position control algorithms using fuzzy rule were developed to achieve faster and more stable response than conventional PI control algorithm. The performances of the proposed algorithms were compared by computer simulations with them of PI controller. From those simulations it was shown that the proposed algorithms are more efficient about settling time, steady state error and overshoot than PI control algorithm.

  • In this paper, the control of a DC servo motor position control is implemented with fuzzy controller using IBM PC AT. In addition to the fuzzy controller with the error and change of error inputs PI controller is applied as well to improve the steady state error response. It shows the above configuration results in a good control characteristics.

PREDATOR-PREY IN PATCHY SPACE WITH DIFFUSION

  • In this paper we formulate a predator-prey system in two patches in which the per capita migration rate of each species is influenced only by its own density, i.e. there is no response to the density of the other one. Numerical studies show that at a critical value of the bifurcation parameter the system undergoes a Turing bifurcation, i. e. the stable constant steady state loses its stability and spatially non-constant stationary solutions, a pattern emerge.

  • On force control of robot, the transient response of the force is as important as the steady state value. We analyze the force for an 1 d.o.f. model. Based on the analysis, we finds out a desirable condition of the control system parameters for stability of the force. We propose a force rate feedback control for implementation. Through experiments we shows that the force can be controlled stably for an arbitrary environment.

  • In this paper, we propose a low-complexity control scheme for segway. To design the controller, we use the prescribed performance function and analyze the stability of the proposed control system using the Lyapunov stability theorem. By prescribed performance function, we can adjust the transient and steady-state response. Finally, the simulation results are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.
