적분기를 이용한 Cuk 컨버터의 순시추종형 PWM 제어 (Instantaneous Following PWM Control Strategy of Cuk Converter Using Integrator)

  • Instantaneous following PWM control technique is pulsed nonlinear dynamic control method. This new control technique using analog integrator is proposed to control the duty ratio D of Cuk converter. In this control method, the duty ratio of a switch is exactly equal to or proportional to the control reference in the steady state or in a transient. Proposed control method compensates power source perturbation in one switching cycle, and the average value of the dynamic reference in one switching cycle. There is no steady state error nor dynamic error between the control reference and the average value of the switched variable. Experiments with Cuk converter have demonstrated the robustness of the control method and verified theoretical prediction. The control method is very general and applicable to all type PWM.

3차원 소형축류홴의 공력특성에 대한 난류모델평가 (Evaluation of the Turbulence Models on the Aerodynamic Performance of Three-Dimensional Small-Size Axial Fan)

  • The steady-state, incompressible and three-dimensional numerical analysis was carried out to evaluate turbulent models on the aerodynamic performance of a small-size axial fan(SSAF). The prediction performance on the static pressure of all turbulent models is going downhill at the high static pressure and low flowrate region, but has improved at the axial flow region. In consequence, all turbulent models predict the static pressure coefficient with an error performance less than about 4% after the region of the flowrate coefficient of about 0.14. Especially, the turbulent model of SST $k-{\omega}$ shows the best prediction performance equivalent to an error performance less than about 2% on the static pressure.

  • Direct drive servovalve(DDV) is a kind of one-stage valve since the rotary motion of DC motor is directly transferred to the linear motion of valve spool through the link. Since the structure of DDV is simple, it is less expensive, more reliable and offers reduced internal leakage and reduced sensitivity to fluid contamination. However, the flow force effect on the spool motion is significant such that it induces large steady-state error in a step response. If the proportional control gain is increased to reduce the steady-state error, the system becomes unstable. In order to satisfy the system design requirements, the classical controller is designed using the analytical Bode method.

  • A proposed fuzzy-sliding mode controller in this paper shows that it can reduce amount of chattering inherent to sliding mode control and it is robust against parameter uncertainties. Sliding mode control is one of the control method for nonlinear systems. It can provide good transient performance and system robustness for nonlinear system. But chattering is a serious problem of the sliding mode control. The chattering is caused by steady/state error or uncertainties of the system. There are three kinds of method that can remove chattering. First, steady-state error can be removed by adding PI controller to the system. 멀티형 히트펌프 시스템 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션과 실험적 검증 (Multi type heat pump system computer simulation and experimental verification)

  • The multi type heat pump system may provide more energy savings and better environmental conditions than the single type heat pump system may do. In order to design a multi type heat pump system, it may be recommended to develop the system simulation program, which can predict the characteristics of the system such as unit capacities, power consumptions, and system COP's. In this study, the steady state simulation program of the multi type heat pump system was developed. The results from the simulation program were compared with those from the experimental tests which were performed in the environmental chamber, Cooling tests show 3.11% and 0.94% of error in capacity and COP, and heating tests show 3.30% and 1.90% of error in capacity and COP, respectively. Therefore, the steady state simulation program developed for this study can effectively be used for the design and the performance prediction of the multi type heat pump system.

  • In this paper, we propose an alternative analysis to regulate DC motors using a PID controller with a gain scaling factor. We start by providing a systematic design method for selecting the PID gains of our proposed controller by seeing the effect of ϵ on damping ratio, overshoot and settling time from the frequency response analysis. With the help of matlab (simulink), We proceed to show that the proposed controller provides robust stability against system parameter uncertainty and the effect of the gain scaling factor on steady-state error. The validity of our control method along with the analysis is verified with the simulation results.

  • The CMA and MMA blind equalization algorithm has the inevitable large residual error caused by mismatching between the symbol constellation at a steady state after convergence. Stop-and-Go algorithm has a very superior residual error characteristics at a steady state but a relatively slow convergence characteristics. In this paper, we propose a SAG-Flagged MMA as a new adaptive blind equalization algorithm with a Stop-and-Go flag which follows a flagged MMA in update scheme of tap weights as appling the flag obtaining from Stop-and-Go algorithm to MMA. Using computer simulation, it is confirmed that the proposed algorithm has an enhancing performance from the viewpoint of residual ISI, residual error and convergence speed in comparison with MMA and Stop-and-Go algorithm. Algorithm has a new error function using the decided original constellation instead of the reduced constellation. By computer simulation, it is confirmed that the proposed algorithm has the performance superiority in terms of residual ISI and convergence speed compared with the adaptive blind equalization algorithm of CMA family, Constant Modulus Algorithm with Carrier Phase Recovery and Modified CMA(MCMA).

  • In this study, the several control laws and switching planes are considered to eliminate the steady state error and to obtain the rapid response for variable structure control systems. An elimination algorithm is achieved by combination with each other control law, and the type of control law having the most rapid response is shown through some simulations.

상태관측기를 이용한 단상 PLL제어의 성능 개선 (Performance Improvement of Single-phase PLL Control using State Observer)

  • 본 논문에서는 단상 전원의 위상 및 주파수 검출을 위해 전차원 상태관측기를 이용한 가상 2상 방식의 단상 위상고정루프(PLL: Phase Locked Loop) 제어기를 제안한다. 기존의 방식은 전원단에 주입된 저차 고조파를 완벽하게 제거하지 못하여 전체 PLL 시스템에 영향을 주게 된다. 제안된 알고리즘은 전차원 상태관측기를 사용하여 기본파와 고조파를 분리하고 고조파 성분을 효과적으로 제거 및 검출하여 기본파 성분만을 발생한다. 그리고 가상 발생신호 및 기존 입력신호를 함께 제어함으로써 기존방식보다 정상상태 오차를 감소시킬 수 있다. 모의실험결과 및 실제실험결과를 통하여 설계한 제어기에 의해 발생된 주파수가 실제값에 수렴하였으며 정상상태 추정 특성이 향상됨을 검증하였다. 또한 고조파 성분이 효과적으로 제거되고 기본파 성분만을 출력하는 것을 확인하였다.

  • We propose a new PI FLC which utilizes the error(e), change of error( e), and previous control(u(k-1)). It is shown by simulation that the proposed scheme gives better performance in steady state than the conventional PI FLC.
