한국형 e-Navigation 데이터 처리 플랫폼의 운용성 증대를 위한 상황인지 기반의 자원 최적화 기법 (Resource Optimization Techniques based on Context Awareness for Enhancing Operability of e-Navigation Data Service Platform)

  • 본 기법(CORD)은 2016년부터 착수한 한국형 e-Navigation사업 중 한화시스템의 대용량 데이터 처리 플랫폼(Data Service Platform, 이하 DSP)의 현장 운용성을 증대시키기 위해 실시간으로 DSP의 상태를 진단하는 알고리즘이다. 항해 중인 선박이 DSP에 요청하는 다양한 서비스에 즉시 응답하기 위해서는 DSP의 논리적, 물리적 오류 발생 가능한 상황을 인지하고 부하를 최소화하여 DSP가 항상 정상상태를 유지하도록 하는 것이 중요하며, 이는 현장 운용성을 극대화, 즉 끊김없는(Seamless) 서비스의 제공과 일맥상통한다. 따라서 DSP의 자원 및 동작 상태를 실시간으로 감시하고 다수의 선박요청을 최적으로 재구성하여 DSP의 정상상태를 유지시키는 기능을 구현함으로써, 선박 요청에 대한 DSP의 응답소요시간의 저감 및 선박 서비스의 제공 성공률을 비약적으로 향상시켜 DSP의 운용성 증가를 실현하게 하였다.

A study on the Manoeuvring Motion Under the Condition of External Forces in Restricted Waterways

  • In the present paper, the analysis is on the safe navigation between ships moving each other in restricted waterways under the external force, such as wind or current The numerical simulation of manoeuvring motion was carried out to propose an appropriate safe speed and distance between ships, which is required to avoid marine disasters from the viewpoint of marine safety. From the inspection q this investigation, it indicates the following result In case of proximal navigation between ships under the wind and current, the low-speed vessel is potentially hazardous because the rudder force if low-speed vessel needed for steady-state course-keeping is not sufficient, compared to the high-speed vessel The manoeuvring characteristic based on this investigation will be very useful for keeping the safety of navigation from the practical point of ships design and traffic control in restricted waterways.

The Assessment of Safe Navigation Regarding Hydrodynamic forces between Ships in Restricted Waterways

  • This paper is primarily focused on the safe navigation between overtaking and overtaken vessels in restricted waterways under the external forces, such as wind and current. The maneuvering simulation between two ships was conducted to find an appropriate safe speed and distance, which is required to avoid collision. From the viewpoint of marine safety, a greater transverse distance between two ships is more needed for the smaller vessel. Regardless of external forces, the smaller vessel will get a greater effect of hydrodynamic forces than the bigger one. In the case of close navigation between ships under the forces of wind and current, the vessel moving at a lower speed is potentially hazardous because the rudder force of the lower speed vessel is not sufficient for steady-state course-keeping, compared to that of the higher speed vessel.

  • Relative navigation system is presented using measurements from a single-channel global positioning system (GPS) simulator. The objective of this study is to provide real-time relative navigation results as well as absolute navigation results for two formation flying satellites separated about 1km in low earth orbit. To improve the performance, more accurate dynamic model and modified relative measurement model are developed. This modified method prevents non-linearity of the measurement model from degrading precision by applying linearization about the states from absolute navigation algorithm not about a priori states. Furthermore, absolute states are obtained using ion-free GRAPHIC pseudo-ranges and precise relative states are provided using double differential carrier-phase data based on Extended Kalman Filter. The software-based simulation is performed and achieved meter-level precision for absolute navigation and millimeter-level precision for relative navigation. The absolute and relative accuracies at steady state are about 0.77m and 4mm respectively (3D, r.m.s.). In addition, Integer ambiguity algorithm (LAMBDA method) improves simulation performances.

  • A small electrical potential difference which appears on any solid body when subjected to illumination by a modulated light beam generated by laser is called photocharge voltage(PCV)[1,2]. This voltage is proportional to the induced change in the surface electrical charge and is capacitatively measured on various materials such as conductors, semiconductors, ceramics, dielectrics and biological objects. The amplitude of the detected signal depends on the type of material under investigation, and on the surface properties of the sample. In photocharge voltage spectroscopy measurements[3], the sample is illuminated by both a steady state monochromatic bias light and the pulsed laser. The monochromatic light is used to created a variation in the steady state population of trap levels in the surface and space charge region of semiconductor samples which does result in a change in the measured voltage. Using this technique the spatial variation of PCV can be utilized to evalulate the surface conditions of the sample and the variation of the PCV due to the monochromatic bias light are utilized to charactrize the surface states. A qualitative analysis of the proposed measuremen is present along with experimental results performed on amorphous silicon samples. The deposition temperature was varied in order to obtain samples with different structural, optical and electronic properties and measurements are related to the defect density in amorphous thin film.

동적 보상기를 이용한 소형 무인항공기 비행 제어 (Flight control of a small unmanned aerial vehicle using a dynamic compensator)

  • 본 논문에서는 소형 무인항공기에 대한 비행제어 시스템을 동적 보상기를 이용하여 설계하였다. 제안된 제어 시스템은 정상상태 오차를 줄이면서 과도응답 특성을 개선하여 고도 변화 및 목표점 통과 명령에 대해 비행 안정성을 확보하고자 하였다. 제안된 비행 제어기는 내부 루프와 외부 루프의 이중 구조로 구성되며, 내부 루프는 PD 제어기를 사용하여 과도응답을 개선하도록 하며 외부 루프는 동적 보상기를 사용하여 과도 응답 및 정상 상태 오차를 개선하도록 하였다. 고도 추종 및 목표점을 통과하도록 하는 비행실험을 통하여 제안된 기법의 성능을 평가하였다.

A Practical Application of Multiple Wave Models to the Small Fishery Harbor Entrance

  • Samchunpo(Sin Hyang) Harbor is located in the bay of Sa Chun, the central south coast of Korean peninsula. The harbor and coastal boundaries have been protecting by natural coastal islands and shoals. Currently, The Sin Hyang harbor needs maintenance and renovation of the sheltered structures against the weather deterioration and typhoon damages. Consequently to support this, the calculation of accurate design wave through the typhoon wave attack is necessary. In this study, calculation of incident wave condition is simulated using steady state spectrum energy wave model(wide area wave model) from 50 years return wave condition. And this simulation results in wide offshore area were used for the input of the extended mild slope wave model at the narrow coastal area. Finally, the calculation of design wave at Sin Hyang harbor entrance was induced by Boussinesq wave model(detail area wave model) simulation. The numerical model system was able to simulate wave transformations from generation scale to shoreline or harbor impact. We hope these results will be helpful to the engineers doing placement, design, orientation, and evaluation of a wide range of potential solutions in this area.

  • GPS 수신기는 잡음이 섞인 의사거리와 도플러 측정값으로부터 사용자의 위치, 속도 및 시간을 결정하여야한다. GPS 수신기는 일반적으로 최소자승법(Least Square Method)을 사용한다. 칼만필터(Kalman Filter)는 시스템의 동적특성과 시스템 잡음의 확률적 특성을 이용하는 최적 예측기로 알려져 있다. 본 논문에서는 GPS 수신기를 위한 8차 칼만 필터를 설계하고, 필터의 계산 부담을 줄이고 안정도를 향상시키기 위해 UD칼만필터, Steady-State 칼만필터, Schmidt 칼만필터 등의 기법들을 적용하였다. 설계된 필터의 성능을 실제 수신기에 구현하여 검증하고 결과를 분석하였다.

무인자율수중운동체의 보정항법을 위한 축소된 오차 모델 (Reduced Error Model for Integrated Navigation of Unmanned Autonomous Underwater Vehicle)

  • This paper presents a novel aided navigation method for AUV (Autonomous Underwater Vehicles). The navigation system for AUV includes several sensors such as IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit), DVL (Doppler Velocity Log) and depth sensor. In general, the $13^{th}$ order INS error model, which includes depth error, velocity error, attitude error, and the accelerometer and gyroscope biases as state variables is used with measurements from DVL and depth sensors. However, the model may degrade the estimation performance of the heading state. Therefore, the $11^{th}$ INS error model is proposed. Its validity is verified by using a degree of observability and analyzing steady state error. The performance of the proposed model is shown by the computer simulation. The results show that the performance of the reduced $11^{th}$ order error model is better than that of the conventional $13^{th}$ order error model.

  • 복잡한 수심을 가진 연안해역에서 조석, 바람과 파에 의해 발생된 흐름의 영향까지를 고려한 파랑모델의 도입은 대부분의 해안공학 설계나 방재 문제에 매우 중요한 요소이다. 근해역에서 수심변화에 의한 굴절 및 천수효과, 흐름에 의해 유발되는 굴절효과, 파형경사에 따른 쇄파, 회절, 바람에 의한 파의 성장, 파랑 상호간의 간섭 및 에너지 재분포 등을 다를 수 있다는 점에서 정상상태 스펙트럼 모델의 현장 적용은 지금까지 여러 모델이 다루지 못한 부분을 해소하게 될 것이다. 본 연구에서는 부만 신항만 건설이 이루어지고 있는 가덕인접의 및은 수역에 대해 파랑의 변환과정을 보다 합리적으로 해석하기 위해 스펙트럼 모델을 적용하고 기존의 모델 결과와 비교 분석하는 것을 골자로 하고 있다. 이러한 시도가 가까운 장래에 항만설계 및 방재시스템 분야에서 보다 안전하고 널리 스펙트럼 모델을 적용하게 하는 계기가 되도록 의도하였다.
