  • The purpose of this study was to observe whether the status of a firm's website affects the performance of the other affiliated websites. In other words, whether or not the website could improve its performance from developing high-status affiliation was investigated. The status of a website being affiliated was measured based on the number of citations, and the performance of a website developing affiliation on the number of visitors. The affiliation between websites was defined as banner links. For the analysis, the status of the initiator's website, that might be expected to affect the website performance, was controlled. To achieve the purpose of this study, a field study method was adopted. To obtain the data, an unprecedented method employing a program that gathers all related information concerning a specific website was used. The findings of this study indicated that the website developing high-status affiliation did not significantly improve its performance. Such findings different from previous research may have resulted from different characteristic of affiliation and limited samples available.

  • Background: This study aimed to investigate the effects of department satisfaction and career maturity on the perceived health status, relationship, and self-efficacy of dental hygiene college students based on Alderfer's existence-relationship-growth theory. Methods: We obtained convenience samples of dental hygiene students in Daejeon and Chungnam areas; 241 questionnaires were collected from 250 persons considering the dropout rate and used for the final analysis except for 9 careless responses. The differences in perceived health status, relationship, self-efficacy, department satisfaction, and career maturity according to general characteristics were analyzed using a t-test, one-way analysis of variance and Pearson's correlation coefficients. Moreover, structural equation modeling was performed to confirm the variables. GFI, AGFI,CFI, RMR, RMSEA, TLI, and NFI indices were calculated to verify the fitness of the path model. Results: There were significant differences in self-efficacy, department satisfaction, career maturity according to grade, and significant differences in academic performance for all variables except relationship. The school system also had a significant effect on department satisfaction. Perceived health status, relationship, self-efficacy, department satisfaction, and career maturity demonstrated statistically significant positive correlations (p<0.05). The factors affecting department satisfaction were relationship and self-efficacy. The indirect and total effects of perceived health status and relationship on career maturity were not statistically significant; however, the indirect and total effects of self-efficacy on career maturity were statistically significant. Conclusion: It is necessary to develop teaching methods according to student management plans for dental hygiene by comprehensively perceived health status, relationship, and self-efficacy affecting department satisfaction and career maturity.

  • Purpose: This study aimed to obtain basic data on oral health improvement by investigating the EQ-5D index according to the oral prosthesis status of elderly persons aged 65 years or older in Korea using the Seventh Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey. Methods: In this study, 3,426 elderly persons aged 65 years or older were included to analyze the relationship between the dental prostheses status and EQ-5D index in the collected data. Results: Compared to the "complete denture" in oral prosthesis, EQ in case of no dental prostheses or fixed dental prostheses is comparable to removable prosthetics such as "no dental prostheses," "one fixed bridge," and "two or more fixed bridges." Removable partial denture and complete denture required for the maxillary and mandibular EQ-5D index were significantly higher in "not necessary" than in "complete denture necessary" in all the elderly persons. Conclusion: The condition of the dental prosthesis and the need for a removable partial denture and complete denture for the elderly's EQ-5D index were confirmed, and it was found that the fixed dental prostheses were more effective than the removable dental prostheses. Therefore, oral health education programs for the elderly should be developed to promote dental function and oral health maintenance.

  • This study was cross sectional descriptive survey study to analysis effect of health perception and mental health status on the quality of life in the late middle aged people (45-65 years old). The data for the study were collected online from November 20 to December 10, 2019, from those who agreed to participate in the study voluntarily. A total of 192 data were used for the study. This study analyzed the Pearson correlation analysis, Descriptive analysis and Regression analysis using SPSS 18.0. As a result, the participants were 41.7% male and 58.3% female. The age group was 45-50 years old 4.2%, 51-55 years old 20.8%, 56-60 years old 54.1% and 61-65% 20.8%. Mental health status was associated with physical QOL(r=-347, p<0.01), Psychological QOL(r=-.439, p<0.01), and Social QOL(r=.280, p<0.01). Subjective health perception was associated with physical QOL(r=-589, p<0.01), Psychological QOL(r=.222, p<0.01), and Social QOL(r=.286, p<0.01). subjective health perception was found to affect all sub-factors except environmental quality of life under the statistical significance (p<0.01).

  • Korea's experiences in the use and development of nuclear energy are recognized as a successful model as a developing country in the international nuclear community. With these experiences, Korea is able to contribute to the progress of Korean nuclear industry and international society as a nuclear advanced country. This paper reviews and analyzes the current situation and major issues in securing the international legal status of RCA Regional Office hosted by Korean Government since 2002. In this connection, major political environments and relevant issues in facilitating the revision of RCA Agreement and securing legal status of the RCARO are also investigated. It is essential to amend the 1987 RCA Agreement or to conclude the its supplementary agreement for the securing of the international legal status of RCA Regional Office at the RCA policy meeting prior to extension of the agreement in 2017 and after. It is recommended for the Korean Government to establish and operate the inter-ministry governmental task force teams to facilitate and support the required actions in the national and diplomatic actions in the regional level for the sustainable development of the RCA and RCA Regional Office.

  • This study is a descriptive research study to promote health behavior compliance and use it as basic data for the program development of nursing intervention by identifying the factors affecting middle-aged women's health behavior compliance. It was collected and analyzed 162 copies of the data for a total of 10 weeks from January 17 to March 28, 2022, targeting middle-aged women aged 50 to 59 living in D and B. As a result of the study, economic status(medium) had the highest impact on health behavior compliance, followed by economic status (low), self-efficacy, perceived health status, married status(married), and regular health checkup(yes). Therefore, it is needed promoting to get regular health checkups, increasing self-efficacy with financial support, and exploring the ways and the development of programs that can improve perceived health status in order to improve middle-aged women's health behavior compliance.

  • Given recent accidents involving autonomous vehicles, driver monitoring technology related to the transition of control in autonomous vehicles is gaining prominence. Driver status monitoring systems recognize the driver's level of alertness and identify possible impairments in the driving ability owing to conditions including drowsiness and distraction. In autonomous vehicles, predictive factors for the transition to manual driving should also be included. During traditional human driving, monitoring the driver's status is relatively straightforward owing to the consistency of crucial cues, such as the driver's location, head orientation, gaze direction, and hand placement. However, monitoring becomes more challenging during autonomous driving because of the absence of direct manual control and the driver's engagement in other activities, which may obscure the accurate assessment of the driver's readiness to intervene. Hence, safety-ensuring technology must be balanced with user experience in autonomous driving. We explore relevant global and domestic regulations, the new car assessment program, and related standards to extract requirements for driver status monitoring. This kind of monitoring can both enhance the autonomous driving performance and contribute to the overall safety of autonomous vehicles on the road.
