Recently wireless sensor networks as a field of ubiquitous computing technology was in the limelight. To use and collect the necessary information, Sink node mobility is essential. TTDD(Two-Tier Data Dissemination) proposed most common technique associated with Mobile sink node in wireless sensor networks, but issues exist that the use of many control packet falls into the energy efficiency. The technique for solving problems is Cluster-Based Energy-efficient Routing protocol (CBPER). But CBPER does not transmit the data correctly to sink node or source node. In this paper, we propose An Energy-Efficient Routing Protocol based on Static Grid using mobile sink nodes in order to solve the data transmission failure and reduce the energy consumption in Wireless Sensor Networks. We have evaluated it with the NS-2 simulator. Our results show that the proposed protocol saves the energy consumption up to 34% in comparison with CBPER. We also prove that the proposed protocol can transmit more accurate data to the sink de than CBPER.
Due to an explosive growth in services running in different datacenters, there is need for service selection and routing to deliver user requests to the best service instance. In current solutions, it is generally the client that must first select a datacenter to forward the request to before an internal load-balancer of the selected datacenter can select the optimal instance. An optimal selection requires knowledge of both network and server characteristics, making clients less suitable to make this decision. Information-Centric Networking (ICN) research solved a similar selection problem for static data retrieval by integrating content delivery as a native network feature. We address the selection problem for services by extending the ICN-principles for services. In this paper we present Queue and Latency, a network-driven service selection algorithm which maps user demand to service instances, taking into account both network and server metrics. To reduce the size of service router forwarding tables, we present a statistical method to approximate an optimal load distribution with minimized router state required. Simulation results show that our statistical routing approach approximates the average system response time of source-based routing with minimized state in forwarding tables.
There are many algorithms to improve the network traffic and to avoid losing packets in the network. This paper proposed determining the shortest paths for hops, which are in the middle of the source and destination. The shortest path in this paper means the fastest path between them. Recently, dynamic routing algorithm is currently used now but this paper suggests the fastest paths between the source and the destination is by using the record of the network traffic history. People are using the networking and the network traffic is always corresponding to how many people use the networking in specific time. Therefore, I can predict the network condition by referring to the history of network traffic record, and then the shortest path can be produced without using RIP too much. It will be helpful to improve the network traffic.
The existing active routing Protocols assume that the active network topology is static or pre-configured. However a dynamic mechanism to route an active Packet according to the network condition is required due to the dynamic characteristic of the active network. As active routing protocols, SLRP and TCOM500 PLAN project have been proposed, but since both of them are based on the assumption of the static topology we can not say that they are dynamic routing protocols in their entirety. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a new active network routing protocol, called AOSPF (Active Open Shortest Path First), which is compatible with the existing IP routing protocol. AOSPF is an extension of OSPF by adding a new LSA (Link State Advertisement) to allow the active network routing. The newly introduced LSA is used to specify whether the corresponding router is an active router or not. and one bit in the OPTION field of an LSA packet is used as the active router indication bit. This way of extending OSPF is similar to the scheme used in the extension of OSPF for multicast, i.e., MOSPF. In this paper, we will present the operation of AOSPF and the way how an active packet is forwarded based on the active network topology information constructed by AOSPF.
Maintenance Access Hatches are used to ensure urban safety and aesthetics while facilitating the management of power lines, telecommunication lines, and gas pipes. Such facilities necessitate affordable and effective surveillance. In this paper, we propose a FiCHS (Fixed Cluster head centralized Hierarchical Static clustering) routing protocol that is suitable for underground maintenance hatches using WSN (Wireless Sensor Network) technology. FiCHS is compared with three other protocols, LEACH, LEACH-C, and a simplified LEACH, based on an ns-2 simulation. FiCHS was observed to exhibit the highest levels of power and data transfer efficiency.

We consider a new load balancing routing for delay-guaranteed services in the network in which the traffic is dynamic and network topologies frequently change. For such an ever-changing network, we propose a new online load balancing routing called AntLBR, which exploits the ant colony optimization method. Generally, to achieve load balancing, researchers have tried to calculate the traffic split ratio by solving a complicated linear programming (LP) problem under the static network environment. In contrast, the proposed AntLBR does not make any attempt to solve this complicated LP problem. So as to achieve load balancing, AntLBR simply forwards incoming flows by referring to the amount of pheromone trails. Simulation results indicate that the AntLBR algorithm achieves a more load-balanced network under the changing network environment than techniques used in previous research while guaranteeing the requirements of delay-guaranteed services.

A lot of researches have been done on supporting QoS in the mobile networks and ad hoc network architectures, but most of them are not suitable in the static ad hoc environment. Most Research in mobile ad hoc networks has been devoted to routing protocol since they are fundamantal to the technology for improving QoS. In mobile ad hoc networks, QoS means not only fast speed and reliable transmission but reliable node. Needless to say, general QoS is serious question. In this paper, we enunciate the proposition to reduce network load and prevent node expire using buffer node.

Information theory progression along with the advancements being made in the field of Vehicular Ad hoc NETworks (VANETs) supports the use of coding-aware opportunistic routing for efficient data forwarding. In this work, we propose and investigate an adaptive coding-aware routing scheme in a specific VANET scenario known as a vehicular platoon. Availability of coding opportunities may vary with time and therefore, the accurate identification of available coding opportunities at a specific time is a quite challenging task in the highly dynamic scenario of VANETs. In the proposed approach, while estimating the topology of the network at any time instance, a forwarding vehicle contemplates the composition of multiple unicast data flows to encode the correct data packets that can be decoded successfully at destinations. The results obtained by using OMNeT++ simulator reveal that higher throughput can be achieved with minimum possible packet transmissions through the proposed adaptive coding-aware routing approach. In addition, the proposed adaptive scheme outperforms static transmissions of the encoded packets in terms of coding gain, transmission percentage, and encoded packet transmission. To the best of our knowledge, the use of coding-aware opportunistic routing has not been exploited extensively in available literature with reference to its implications in VANETs.

Previous secure routing protocols for wireless sensor networks assume that a sink is static. In many cases, however, a sink operated by man or vehicle is moving. A mobile sink creates a lot of technical problems such as reconfiguration of routing path exposure of sink location. and selection of secure access point node, which are not considered by many previous researches. In this paper, we propose a new secure routing scheme for solving such problems using hi-directional hash chain and delegation nodes of grid structure. This scheme provides a secure routing path and prevents attacker from recognizing the location of a mobile sink in sensor networks. This new method reduces the resource requirements compared to the cashed routing schemes. Simulation results also show that the system is secure and efficient enough.
Shortest path tree(SPT) construction is essential in high performance routing in an interior network using link state protocols. When some links have new state values, SPTs may be rebuilt, but the total rebuilding of the SPT in a static way for a large computer network is not only computationally expensive, unnecessary modifications can cause routing table instability. This paper presents a new update algorithm, dynamic shortest path tree(DSPT) that is computationally economical and that maintains the unmodified nodes mostly from an old SPT to a new SPT. The proposed algorithm reduces redundancy using a dynamic update approach where an edge becomes the significant edge when it is extracted from a built edge list Q. The average number of significant edges are identified through probability analysis based on an arbitrary tree structure. An update derived from significant edges is more efficient because the DSPT algorithm neglect most other redundant edges that do not participate in the construction of a new SPT. Our complexity analysis and experimental results show that DSPT is faster than other known methods. It can also be extended to solve the SPT updating problem in a graph with negative weight edges.
