에너지함수법을 이용한 가용송전용량(ATC) 계산에 관한 연구 (A study on the ATC(Available Transfer Capabilily) calculation using an Energy Function Method)

  • 가용송전용량(ATC)은 계통내의 한 지역에서 다른 지역까지 실제 전력을 증가시키는 것이다. 지금까지 ATC 계산은 대부분 정상상태에서 실행가능성을 주로 고려하여 계산되어 왔다. 하지만 ATC 평가시 과도안정도로 제약된 ATC 계산은 매우 중요한 부분이다. ATC 평가시에는 제약조건으로 열적용량, 전압 및 과도안정도로 제약된 상정사고(n-1)시 안전도 평가가 요구된다. 본 논문은 자코비안 행렬의 고유치를 이용하여 상정사고 우선순위를 선정하였고, 에너지 함수법을 이용하여 선로의 열적용량, 전압안정도 및 과도안정도를 고려한 ATC를 계산하였다.

  • 직류전동기는 자속 및 토크 제어가 간단하고 정밀하여 가변속 구동장치로 많이 사용된다 그러나 정류자와 브러시의 접촉 및 마모부분이 있으므로 정기적인 보수, 점검이 필요하며, 정류자의 정류 한계상 고속화 및 고압화에 문제가 있고, 대용량화에도 한계가 있으며, 설치하는 환경에도 큰 제약이 따른다. 따라서 이러한 단점을 극복하기 위해 직류전동기를 BLDC 전동기로 대치하여 가변속 제어하는 방법의 연구가 오래 전부터 지속되어 왔다. 본 논문에서는 PWM 인버터로 구동되는 BLDC 전동기의 수학적 모델을 전개하였고, 실험에 의한 파라미터 추정을 통하여 BLDC 전동기의 동특성 및 정상상태특성을 토크, 속도, 전압과 전류에 대하여 시뮬레이션 및 분석하였다.

Orbit Determination of KOMPSAT-1 and Cryosat-2 Satellites Using Optical Wide-field Patrol Network (OWL-Net) Data with Batch Least Squares Filter

  • The optical wide-field patrol network (OWL-Net) is a Korean optical surveillance system that tracks and monitors domestic satellites. In this study, a batch least squares algorithm was developed for optical measurements and verified by Monte Carlo simulation and covariance analysis. Potential error sources of OWL-Net, such as noise, bias, and clock errors, were analyzed. There is a linear relation between the estimation accuracy and the noise level, and the accuracy significantly depends on the declination bias. In addition, the time-tagging error significantly degrades the observation accuracy, while the time-synchronization offset corresponds to the orbital motion. The Cartesian state vector and measurement bias were determined using the OWL-Net tracking data of the KOMPSAT-1 and Cryosat-2 satellites. The comparison with known orbital information based on two-line elements (TLE) and the consolidated prediction format (CPF) shows that the orbit determination accuracy is similar to that of TLE. Furthermore, the precision and accuracy of OWL-Net observation data were determined to be tens of arcsec and sub-degree level, respectively.

  • 본 논문은 단상 반파 PWM 정류기와 3상 2-leg 인버터를 결합한 단상-삼상 컨버터 회로에서 전원전압의 센서를 제거하여 3상 유도전동기를 저가형으로 구동하는 방법을 제안하고자 한다. 전원전압의 센서를 제거하기 위해 전원 전류의 실측치와 제어기 내의 모델전류가 일치하도록 관측기를 구성하여 전원전압을 추정한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 기법을 사용할 경우 스위칭 소자와 센서 수를 줄이면서 직류전압 일정제어, 입력전류의 정현제어 및 단위 역률 제어가 가능하고 VVVF 교류전압을 얻을 수 있다는 장점이 있다. 3[Hp]의 3상 유도전동기의 V/f 구동에 적용한 실험결과로 제시된 알고리즘의 타당성을 검증한다.

  • 배전계통 상태추정이란 배전계통을 운영하고 제어하기 위하여 모선전압, 선로조류, 모선부하와 같은 상태변수들의 측정된 값을 이용하여 여러가지 운영에 필요한 정보를 활용하고 배전계통으로부터 측정치에 기초하여 미지의 상태변수들을 추정하는 것이다. 변전소 제어센터에 있는 SCADA 시스템은 실시간으로 배전계통을 모니터링하고 제어하기 위하여 전력계통을 주기적으로 스캔하고 엄청난 양의 데이터를 획득하여 처리한다. 이들 측정값들은 유효전력, 무효전력, 전압, 전류, 스위치나 차단기의 상태들이다. 이들 데이터들은 중앙전력계통 제어센터나 지역제어센터로부터 산발되어 있는 정보를 대부분 RTU를 통하여 획득하게 된다. 이러한 이유로 배전계통의 상태추정은 송전계통과는 달리 배전계통 자체가 토폴로지상으로 산발되어 있을 뿐만 아니라 대규모이기 때문에 분산형으로 구성하여 처리하는 알고리즘을 필요로 한다. 본 논문에서는 배전계통에 대한 분산형 상태추정기의 알고리즘을 제안하고자 한다.

Thruster fault diagnosis method based on Gaussian particle filter for autonomous underwater vehicles

  • Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) generally work in complex marine environments. Any fault in AUVs may cause significant losses. Thus, system reliability and automatic fault diagnosis are important. To address the actuator failure of AUVs, a fault diagnosis method based on the Gaussian particle filter is proposed in this study. Six free-space motion equation mathematical models are established in accordance with the actuator configuration of AUVs. The value of the control (moment) loss parameter is adopted on the basis of these models to represent underwater vehicle malfunction, and an actuator failure model is established. An improved Gaussian particle filtering algorithm is proposed and is used to estimate the AUV failure model and motion state. Bayes algorithm is employed to perform robot fault detection. The sliding window method is adopted for fault magnitude estimation. The feasibility and validity of the proposed method are verified through simulation experiments and experimental data.

  • Using decode-and-forward relaying in the cognitive radio networks, the spectrum efficiency can improve furthermore. The optimization algorithm of the spectrum sensing estimation time is presented for the cognitive relay networks in this paper. The longer sensing time will bring two aspects of the consequences. On the one hand, the channel parameters are estimated more accurate so as to reduce the interferences to the authorized users and to improve the throughput of the cognitive users. On the other hand, it shortens the transmission time so as to decease the system throughput. In this time, it exists an optimal sensing time to maximize the throughput. The channel state information of the sub-bands is considered as the exponentially distributed, so a stochastic programming method is proposed to optimize the sensing time for the cognitive relay networks. The computer simulation results using the Matlab software show that the algorithm is effective, which has a certain engineering application value.

도로자산관리를 위한 포장종합평가지수의 속성과 변화과정의 모델링 (Internal Property and Stochastic Deterioration Modeling of Total Pavement Condition Index for Transportation Asset Management)

  • PURPOSES : This study is aimed at development of a stochastic pavement deterioration forecasting model using National Highway Pavement Condition Index (NHPCI) to support infrastructure asset management. Using this model, the deterioration process regarding life expectancy, deterioration speed change, and reliability were estimated. METHODS : Eight years of Long-Term Pavement Performance (LTPP) data fused with traffic loads (Equivalent Single Axle Loads; ESAL) and structural capacity (Structural Number of Pavement; SNP) were used for the deterioration modeling. As an ideal stochastic model for asset management, Bayesian Markov multi-state exponential hazard model was introduced. RESULTS:The interval of NHPCI was empirically distributed from 8 to 2, and the estimation functions of individual condition indices (crack, rutting, and IRI) in conjunction with the NHPCI index were suggested. The derived deterioration curve shows that life expectancies for the preventive maintenance level was 8.34 years. The general life expectancy was 12.77 years and located in the statistical interval of 11.10-15.58 years at a 95.5% reliability level. CONCLUSIONS : This study originates and contributes to suggesting a simple way to develop a pavement deterioration model using the total condition index that considers road user satisfaction. A definition for level of service system and the corresponding life expectancies are useful for building long-term maintenance plan, especially in Life Cycle Cost Analysis (LCCA) work.

  • Lake studies play an important role in water management, ecology, and other environmental issues. Typically, monitoring lake levels is the first step on the lake studies. However, for the Prairie Pothole Region (PPR) of North America having millions of small lakes and potholes, on-site measurement for lake levels is almost impossible with the conventional gage stations. Therefore, we employed Geographic Information System (GIS) and remote sensing approach with the Shuttle Radar Topography Mission data to extract lake levels. Several image processing techniques were used to extract lake levels for January, 2000 as a one-time snapshot which will be useful in historic lake level reconstruction. This study is associated with other remote sensing datasets such as Landsat imagery and Digital Orthophoto Quadrangle (DOQ). In this research, firstly, image processing techniques like FFT filtering, Lee-sigma, masking with Canny Edge Detector, and contouring were tested for lake level estimation. The semi-automated contouring technique was developed to accomplish the bulk processing for large amount of lakes in this region. Also, effectiveness of each method for bulk processing was evaluated.

  • In an attempt to estimate the wetting properties of wettable metal layers by wetting balance method, an analysis of wetting curves of the coating layer was performed. Based on the analysis, wetting properties of UBM-coated Si-plate were estimated by the new wettability indices. The wetting curves of the one and both sides-coated UBM layers have the similar shape and show the similar tendency to the temperature. So the wetting property estimation of one side coating is possible with wetting balance method. For UBM of Si-chip, Cr/Cu/Au UBM is better than Ti/Ni/Au in the point of wetting time. At general reflow temperature, the wettability of high melting point solders(Sn-Sb, Sn-Ag) is better than that of few melting point ones(Sn-Bi, Sn-In).The contact angle of the one side coated plate to the solder can be calculated from the farce balance equation by measuring the static state force and the tilt angle.
