The Analysis on Causal Relationship between Business Startup Education and Entrepreneurial Intention

  • Purpose - The current study analyzes the effect of business startup education on business startup education satisfaction and entrepreneurial intention. Also, it attempts to discover if business startup confidence plays a moderating role between business startup education satisfaction and entrepreneurial intention. Research design, data, and methodology - The survey was conducted for approximately 60 days, from July 20, 2016 to September 20, 2016, and distributed to 300 restaurant founders who started their business through business startup education provided by Korea Food Service Industry Association in Seoul, Kyungki and Incheon or existing business founders. Results - Per multiple regression analysis of business startup education and business startup education satisfaction, among business startup education, all law, entrepreneurship, commercial power analysis, and practical education have significantly positive effect. Per simple regression analysis of business startup education satisfaction and entrepreneurial intention, business startup education has significantly positive effects on entrepreneurial intention. Business startup education satisfaction and business startup confidence interaction show that they do not have a moderating role between business startup education satisfaction and entrepreneurial intention. Conclusions - Setting up theoretical reasoning, this study supports conclusions drawn by prior studies: business startup education has significantly positive effects on business startup education satisfaction and entrepreneurial intention.

빅데이터를 활용한 정책분석의 방법론적 함의 : 기회형 창업 관련 소셜 빅데이터 분석 사례를 중심으로 (Methodological Implications of Employing Social Bigdata Analysis for Policy-Making : A Case of Social Media Buzz on the Startup Business)

  • In the creative economy paradigm, motivation of the opportunity based startup is a continuous concern to policy-makers. Recently, bigdata anlalytics challenge traditional methods by providing efficient ways to identify social trend and hidden issues in the public sector. In this study the authors introduce a case study using social bigdata analytics for conducting policy analysis. A semantic network analysis was employed using textual data from social media including online news, blog, and private bulletin board which create buzz on the startup business. Results indicates that each media has been forming different discourses regarding government's policy on the startup business. Furthermore, semantic network structures from private bulletin board reveal unexpected social burden that hiders opening a startup, which has not been found in the traditional survey nor experts interview. Based on these results, the authors found the feasibility of using social bigdata analysis for policy-making. Methodological and practical implications are discussed.

기술 창업자와 창업 조력자 간 창업 성공요인의 인식차이에 관한 연구 (Study on the Perception Gap between Technology Based Entrepreneurs and Startup Facilitators about Success Factors for Startup)

  • 현 정부는 경제성장 및 일자리 창출을 위해 창조경제 정책을 제시하고, 창조경제 실현의 핵심을 기술창업으로 천명하여 지원을 아끼지 않고 있다. 기술창업 지원의 효율성을 극대화하기 위해서는 기술 창업자와 창업 조력자가 생각하는 창업 성공요인의 인식차이를 분석하여 제한된 자원을 효율적으로 활용해야 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 기술 창업자와 창업 조력자가 인식하는 창업 성공요인의 공통점과 차이점을 분석했다. 이를 위해 선행 연구를 통해 분석된 창업 성공요인을 크게 1) 창업자의 특성, 2) 창업 전략, 3) 조직의 특성, 4) 창업 환경으로 분류하여 기술창업 기업의 CEO와 출연(연)에서 중소 벤처기업을 지원하고 있는 연구원을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문을 바탕으로 ANP 방법론을 활용하여 두 집단 간 창업 성공요인에 대한 우선순위와 인식의 차이를 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 창업 성공을 위해 기술 창업자는 '조직의 인력구성 및 전문성'을, 창업 조력자는 '자금조달 전략'을 가장 중요한 변수로 선택하였다. 두 집단 모두 창업 전략의 중요성을 높이 평가하였고, 창업 환경은 상대적으로 낮은 중요도로 평가했다는 공통점을 가졌다. 반면 창업자의 특성과 조직의 특성에 대해 두 집단이 평가하는 상대적 중요도는 상이하였다. 본 연구는 창업 성공요인의 우선순위에 대한 기술 창업자와 창업 조력자 간 정성적인 인식차이를 정량적으로 분석했다는데 의의가 있고, 향후 관련 정책 수립 시 실용적으로 활용될 수 있다.

The Development of Subject Gateway and Library Operating Model for the Diffusion of Entrepreneurship

  • While the body of cases on startup has grown substantially, there has been a lack of a one-stop gateway of entrepreneurship. The study attempts to build a subject gateway for startup information services based on case studies, users' needs analysis, and literature reviews. The results show that users have difficulty in selecting useful information since the excess of information and the search for the desired information as it is scattered across a wide range of sources. The study designed a subject gateway by a navigation system that enables flexible browsing within the entire gateway through the ontology modeling. The study also presented an example of startup records to display how startup information can be explored. This study is expected to contribute to the understanding of the current status related to business startup services. The business startup digital gateways based on empirical data analysis will contribute to extending library service for startup.

The Effects of Business Startup Education of Restaurant Founder on Transfer Effect in Learning and Entrepreneurial Intentions

  • Purpose - this study analyzes the impact of restaurant startup education on transfer effects in learning and entrepreneurial intentions based on previous research. Also, problems and ways to provide effective business startup education for a restaurant founder will be proposed based on the result. Research design, data, methodolog - this study collected surveys by conducting direct investigation. From July 20th of 2016 to September 20th of 2016 (approximately 60 days), the survey was collected. Out of 540 surveys, 520 were collected. And excepting 9 surveys which were untrustworthily conducted, total 511 surveys were used for the analysis. Results - First, as a result of the impact of which factor of a restaurant founder's startup education has a positive impact on transfer effect in learning (the satisfaction of startup education and learning transfer), law education, entrepreneurship education and business district analysis education and practical education have turned out be positively related variables. Secondly, as a result of the impact of a restaurant founder's startup education satisfaction on transfer in learning, it has been identified that startup education has a positive impact. Lastly, by conducting an analysis to find out which factor from a restaurant founder's transfer effect in learning has an impact on entrepreneurial intention, all variables, including startup education satisfaction and transfer effect in learning, are positively influencing factors. Conclusions - as startup education satisfaction of a restaurant founder is increasing, there is a higher level of transfer effect in learning. Moreover, as transfer effect of startup business is getting higher, it has an impact on entrepreneurial intention.

  • 액체로켓 엔진의 개발을 위한 터보펌프+가스발생기(TP+GG) 연계시험을 수행하였으며, 본 시험결과와 Flowmaster를 이용한 엔진 시동해석 결과를 비교함으로써 시동해석 방법의 검증을 수행하였다. 이로부터 엔진 시동해석에 있어서, 초기 터빈의 압력비를 계산하는 방법을 개선하였으며, 특히 시동 초기의 터빈 출구 온도가 시동 해석의 오차에 미치는 영향을 확인하였다.

  • The objective of the present paper is to analyze the problems found in the operation of startup companies and to seek after their solutions. It is thus aimed at offering reasonable grounds for the government to work out long- and short-term strategies in an attempt to help and vitalize startup companies. In this context, following analysis was conducted to meet the objective of this study: First, it was analyzed here to determine if there was any difference in the application of management characters that were deemed to be important factors exercising drastic influence on competitiveness of startup companies directly as well as indirectly; and Second, it was empirically proved how management characters of startup companies affected their competitiveness. From the analysis, it was discovered as follows: First, characters of founders such as age, education and experience in management were found to differ depending on the extent that factors of managerial characters in startup companies were practically applied; and Second, the four factors of managerial characters that were classified by factor analysis turned out to have influence on variables of financial and non-financial competitiveness that were connected with competitiveness of a company.

  • Purpose: To thrive a competitive advantage in the highly competitive global market, a company must establish a strong startup culture, which creates a workplace environment that values innovation and creativity in solving business-related problems. This study investigates the importance of enhancing startup culture in a competitive environment to improve organizational performance, production and hence produce higher returns. Research design, data and methodology: We conducted the qualitative content analysis and its steps seek to ensure that the researcher adheres to a systematic analysis of the data. The method is used for subjective examination of content in any text data and the five steps minimize cases of errors or repetition in used content. Results: Our investigation based on previous literature resources indicates that leading strategies and creating a pleasant working environment are vital behaviors that companies should consider adopting and implementing to achieve a beneficial startup culture full of productivity and massive returns. Conclusion: This research aimed to discuss the necessity of startup culture's enhancement for for-profit companies and found that the adoption of a startup culture in a company is critical to its success. It is vital to building a solid startup culture to grow and gain a competitive advantage in the highly competitive business world.

다단연소사이클 엔진 파워팩 시동 해석 시뮬레이터 개발 (Simulator Development for Startup Analysis of Staged Combustion Cycle Engine Powerpack)

  • 액체로켓엔진은 시동단계에서 갑작스런 압력 및 온도 등의 부하변동이 발생할 수 있다. 따라서 성공적인 액체로켓엔진 개발과 함께 비용, 시간을 절감하기 위해 시동 해석이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 다단연소사이클 액체로켓엔진 파워팩에 대한 시동 해석 시뮬레이터를 개발하여 압력 및 유량 밸런스를 통한 유량을 결정하고 터빈 및 펌프의 수학적 모델링을 통해 최종적으로 시간에 따른 터보펌프의 회전속도를 구하였다. 시동 해석 결과, 정상상태도달까지 약 1.3초가 소요되었으며 이때의 회전속도로는 27,500 rpm을 얻었다. 또한 안정적 시동을 위한 적절한 시퀀스 제시가 가능함을 확인했다.

Google Trends 의 키워드 빅데이터 분석을 활용한 글로벌 스타트업 트렌드 분석: 2017~2022 (Analyzing Global Startup Trends Using Google Trends Keyword Big Data Analysis: 2017~2022)

  • 글로벌시대의 환경속에서 '스타트업'의 트렌드와 인사이트를 파악하기 위해 빅데이터 분석 플랫폼인 Google Trends를 활용하여 최근 글로벌 스타트업 생태계를 심층 트렌드 분석을 실시하였다. 분석의 타당성을 위해 BIGKinds를 통해 핵심 키워드 '스타트업'과 '글로벌'의 상관관계를 검증하였다. 또한 '스타트업' 키워드나 용어의 검색 빈도를 파악하기 위해 Google Trends를 이용하여 추출한 데이터를 기반으로 네트워크 분석을 수행하였다. 연구결과, 키워드 사이에 강한 양적 선형관계를 보여주어 통계적으로 유의미한 상관관계를 나타냈다(상관계수: +0.8906). Google Trends를 사용한 글로벌 스타트업 트렌드를 탐색한 결과 '그림4'와 같이 각 국가들의 시기별 관심도가 증가하거나 감소하는 매우 비슷한 선형적 형태를 나타났다. 특히 스타트업 관심도가 2020년 중반부터 코로나-19 팬데믹으로 인해 35~76 범위내에서 낮게 나타났지만, 2022년 3월 이후 스타트업 관심도가 눈에 띄게 상승하는 트렌드를 보였다. 또한, 한국을 제외한 각 국가별 Startups 관심도는 아주 비슷한 추세이고, 관련 주제는 startup company, technology, investment, funding, 키워드 검색어는 best startup, tech, business, invest, health, fintech 등이 공통적으로 나타나 매우 높은 상관관계가 있음을 확인하였다.
