Analysis of the 500M Short track speed skating starting motion according to the center of gravity position ratio (인체 무게 중심 분할에 따른 500m 숏트트랙 스피드 스케이팅 출발 기술 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to attempt new starting motion and supply present starting motion in the 500M short track speed skating according to the center of gravity position. The center of gravity position ratio was divided starting motion into five(type A : front 80%-back 20%, type B front 70%-back 30%, type C : front 50%-back 50%, type D : front 30%-back 70%, type E : front 20%-back 80%). The three dimension motion analysis with DLT(direct linear transformation) method was executed using two video cameras. The following conclusion was that It was appear that reaction and execution time in starting motion was the most short in type B. It was characteristic that step of skaters was shorten and center of gravity position ratio was not effect to change of the step in each event. It was appear that the displacement of type D and type E were longer than that type A and type B during the starting motion. It was appear that skill types of center of gravity position ratio to the front were lower than that to the back and contract a posture. Observing the above, it was conclusion that skill type B of center of gravity position ratio to the tent was more effect than that to the back. But it is important that these skill type was most used to the competition and estimate the result.

  • The numerical simulations on the train entrering a tunnel were performed by solving unsteady axi-symmetric problems. To reduce the effects of the pressure wave generated by the train starting abruptly, several starting method of the train were also examined. The pressure rise by the train entering a tunnel was compared with other results, and similar value was obtained compared with those of previous studies.

Characteristics of HC Emissions by Starting Conditions in an SI Engine (가솔린 기관의 시동조건에 따른 HC의 배출특성)

  • During the SI engine starting up, starting conditions directly contribute to the unburned hydrocarbon emissions in spark ignition engines. The effects of catalyst temperatures and fuel injection skip methods on HC emissions were investigated. The test was conducted on a 1.5 L, 4-cylinder, 16 valve, multipoint-port-fuel-injection gasoline engine. To understand the formation of HC emissions, HC concentration was measured in an exhaust port using a Fast Response Flame ionization Detector (FRFID). The result showed that HC emissions, which were emitted at the cold coolant and catalyst temperature, were generated much higher than those of hot coolant and catalyst temperatures. In additions, fuel injection skips reduced highly HC emissions. It is convinced that optimized fuel injection skip method according to coolant and catalyst temperatures could be applied to reduce HC emissions during the SI engine starts.

  • Generally, the motor inside vehicle is exposed to highly ambient temperature and large vibration according to repeatedly starting and stopping for very short time. So, in this paper, the rotor shape design was performed to improve demagnetization endurance by considering the starting current of the Brushless DC (BLDC) Motor through the Finite Element Method(FEM). As a result, the partial irreversible demagnetization was occurred by starting current at the end of Permanent Magnets of the basic model. To solve this problem, the flux barrier design was performed and the flux on the rotor core was limited. Accordingly, demagnetization endurance and operating characteristics were improved.

  • In this paper, intelligent methods using digital protection relay in power management and control system is developed in order to protect power systems by means of timely fault detection during operation and control at starting for induction motor which have various load environments and capacities in power systems. The digital protective relay was designed with DSP CPU(TMS320C31) to Protect and measure more quickly and precisely. The test result on the basis of KEMCl120 and IEC60255, show that the operation time error of the digital motor protection relay is improved within $\pm$5%. Also, we can control motors at starting according to starting types with simple method as programmable sequence editor. So we can improve the demerits of high cost and much manhour for rework.

  • This paper presents a new method to reducing inrush current and energy saving of capacitor starting single-phase induction motor used in air-conditioner. It can be obtained that proposed system is low cost and small size as compared with other controller. Experiments are focused on a capacitor starting single-phase induction motor. The optimal power saving and in-rush current limiting by phase angle control are verified by experimental results. Also, auxiliary winding was controlled by electronic starting switch.

  • This paper covers starting characteristics and design of wound motor induction rmtor can used to double excited induction mootor. They are employing in many electrical equiprrent system of industrial field The stator is satre as that of conventional induction motor. But rotor was rewind with new style, as result both of starting torque and operating efficiency could be high, But starting current could be small. Could obtain the satre result as that of conventional induction rmtor with external resistance on the rotor. The structure could be simple, system cost could be low and the maintanence free, Because of no slip rings, no brushes and no external resistance.stance.

  • This paper deals with the improvement of starting characteristic of line-start synchronous relucatance motor(SynRM). To decide the number of conductor bars, the locking torque, when slip is 1, is computed by finite element method(FEM). And then, the magnetic circuit is designed to improve the starting torque according to the rotor position from the shape design of the conductor bars of the rotor with the flux barriers.
