  • The importance of startups and ventures in the Korean economy is growing. This study measured whether the start-up and venture ecosystem is growing, including the growth of startups and ventures. The startup and venture ecosystem consists of startups and ventures, investors, and government, which are the main actors of the 'ecosystem', and their movements were measured with 25 quantitative indicators. Based on the original data of the time series from 2010 to 2020, the startup and venture ecosystem index was calculated by applying weights through the comprehensive stock index method and AHP. In 2020, the startup and venture ecosystem grew 2.9 times compared to 2010, and the increase in the government index had a significant impact on growth. Also, the individual indicators that make up each index in 2020, the corporate index had the greatest impact on the growth of the number of 100-billion ventures, while the investment index had a recovery amount and the government index had a significant impact. Based on the original data, the startup and venture ecosystem index was analyzed by dividing it into ecosystems (startup ecosystem and venture ecosystem), industry by industry (all industries and manufacturing industry), and region (Korea and Busan). As a result, the growth of the startup ecosystem over the past decade has been slightly larger than that of the venture ecosystem. The manufacturing was lower than that of all industries, and Busan was lower than that of the nation. This study was intended to use it for the establishment and implementation of support policies by developing, measuring, and monitoring the startup and venture ecosystem index. This index has the advantage of being able to research the interrelationships between major actors, and anyone can calculate the index using the results of official statistical surveys. In the future, it is necessary to continuously update this content to understand how economic and social events or policy support have affected the startup and venture ecosystem.

  • This study attempts to analyze the structure of the knowledge and duties of the vocational counseling service industry by using the text mining method and network analysis, which are methods of big data analysis. The subjects of the survey were vocational counseling, job placement and career change support, three fields in the unit elements of competence included in the National Competency Standards (NCS) which areproposed by the government. Although the analysis results of frequently used words showed that all three fields had independent duties, many were overlapping, such as counseling, examination, employment support, etc. for clients, job seekers, and others. The knowledge required by the employees of this field includes many new fields, such as start-up development, lifelong career consulting, job adaptation and culture conflict, besides the five subjects of vocational psychology, vocational counseling, labor market, job information, and law, which are included in the vocational counselor certification examination. Also, we suggested that the consultants adhere to emotional approaches, such as empathy, acceptance and attentiveness, and take a neutral stance. This study isvaluable in that it is the first attempt to objectively analyze the duties of the vocational counseling service field by big data analysis. In addition, it is also meaningful that we first confirmed the difference between the direction of government policy and the actual practice in the field.

We conduct panel analysis on the balanced panel data of regional creativity in fifteen Korean cities and provinces during 2008-2012. The result of hypothesis testing are as follows: First, amongst factors of regional creativity, sub-factors such as creative personnel and intangible asset (of the basic asset factor), creative enterprise (of the economic agent factor), and convergence and creative industries (of the core industry factor) showed significant influential relationships with GRDP (Gross Regional Domestic Product) as positive. Concerning the systemization factor, all sub-factors showed no significant relationship with GRDP. Second, amongst the factors, creative personnel (of the basic asset factor), start-up and entrepreneurship (of the systemization factor), creative enterprise (of the economic agent factor), the regional space factor, and convergence industry (of the core industry factor) showed significant positive relationships with employment rate. However, tangible and intangible creative asset (of the basic asset factor), convergence management and administration (of the systemization factor), Large/middle/small enterprises and central government/municipalities (of the economic agent factor), and creative industry (of the core industry factor) showed no significant relationship with employment rate. The results of this study will provide insight into the current situation for regional creativity, and review the process and short and long term performance. • DAB is meeting with mixed success. Denmark is performing similarly to the UK thanks to the innovation of the public broadcaster but where DAB is not so strong, the problem can usually be pointed at the lack of enabling regulation. The UK's example, whilst not appropriate everywhere, has valuable lessons including licensing incentives for existing analogue commercial broadcasters and a market-building obligation on the national multiplex licensee. Despite the obvious success of DAB, it would be an omission to leave some of the continued criticisms unanswered, whether of its slow start or the underlying technology. True, there was much over-optimism in the mid-1990s, coupled with unrealistic promises and expectations of receiver pricing and consumer take-up. Governments across Europe have legislated for DAB digital radio in a variety of ways but few as successfully as the UK. It is essential that both public and private broadcasters are encouraged equally to participate in digital radio. The UK is fortunate because, for the last 10 years, there has been a progressive government policy towards digital broadcasting. The 1996 Broadcasting Act set out a full licensing regime for both digital television and digital radio. The 1996 UK legislation contained a number of key elements which have been cornerstones of its success. DAB digital radio began test broadcasting around ten years ago but it has not been a universal consumer success across Europe. In the UK, however, digital radio receivers are one of the fastest-selling consumer electronics products and sales have overtaken those of analogue radios. Why has the UK succeeded with DAB digital radio when other European countries have yet to see their markets take off? This article explains what steps the UK took to make DAB digital radio a success.

  • In this study, there is a purpose of research to secure competitiveness through the effective utilization of intangible corporate resources of founded enterprises. For this research, we conducted a survey on the way the customers who used the products of the BI center and founders less than 7 years evaluated the founded company. Schmitt's empirical element was examined as a theoretical background, and it was examined whether these empirical factors and attitudes acted as a preprocess in the decision-making process as a repurchase intention. The Result of research is as follows. First, It clearly indicated that customer experience and search experience affected the degree of re-purchase. Second, customer's experience (use experience, search experience, contact experience) were grasped with significant influence on customer's attitude. Third, we discovered that customer's attitude had mediated between customer's experience (use experience, search experience) and re-purchase. This research suggests that if we manage empirical factors well, we can increase the degree of re-purchase and cope appropriately with the limitations of small and medium enterprises.

  • While economic crises are happening internationally due to the global financial crisis and the long-term recession of the domestic economy, South Korea is also experiencing an aging society with the retirement of the baby-boomers and a low birth-rate. The rapid retirement of baby-boomers, which is one of the essential parts of the Korean economy, is ongoing. Consequently, the number of seniors showing interest in entrepreneurship, as a way to avoid the economic threat, is increasing. Therefore, this study examined the correlation between two factors and its success, which can be stated as the influence of decision making in entrepreneurship and the influence of promotion policies to entrepreneurship. A survey was taken from 393 people, who received academic and managerial assistance from the Senior-Founded Support Center of Small Business Market Corporation and Adults Incubators of Seoul-Business Agency. and 'Hypothesis 1-1' and 'Hypothesis 2-2' were selected, because a positive effect was derived at each verification process. As a result, under the decision making types of entrepreneurship, only a reasonable type showed a positive effect at both the financial outcome and non-financial outcome of success, and the intuitive type was affected positively by the non-financial outcome. In addition, under the entrepreneur supporting business, among financial support, managerial support and educational support only managerial support had a positive effect.
