Andy Warhol is one of the great artists in the modern history of art who compares favorably with Picasso. His activities had his object on pervasion of a pop art and profit of the art industry. Many previous studies on his activities have attracted and held the attention of his works of art after 1960s. However in spite of his working as publisher of a fashion magazine fashion illustrator fashion model displayer and etc. in 1950s. there are few studies on his activities of 1950s. Hence this study investigates his works of art in 1950s. and intensively analyzes his effect on modern fashion. In 1950s, Andy Warhol had already been distinguished in works of art from other commercial designers through the illustration for advertising design window display of stores and usage of Hollywood stars as anessential element in his works for whom he had sighed when he was young His works were also characterized by a rejection of they originality of commercial arts. He had an great effect on youth's fashion in 1950s and has activities in 1950s had influence on the diffusion of the public punk fashion in 1970s and the street fashion in 1980s.

The purpose of this study was to identify the influence of reference group on the adolescents' behavior of fashion brand conformity. As for the method of the research, questionnaires were given to 672 students of middle school and high school. The results of this study were as follows: First, the differences between disposition of general conformity and behavior of fashion brand conformity were found to be meaningful in the dimensions of reference groups and their influences. Second, the classification between stage of brand consideration and stage of brand choice was found to be significant in the two-stage model of brand choice. Finally, the subjective individualism and the behavior of brand conformity were significantly correlated and the mass media stars & the identificational influence were the most powerful factors to explain the behavior of fashion brand conformity for the adolescents.

This study focuses on the sportism expressed in the modern fashion. Many factors attribute to the advent of sportism such as rapid development and cultural changes toward sports, increase in leisure time, new fashion materials resulting from new technologies, youth culture and postmodernism. Designers gazing into the future are inspired by the details and functionality of clothing for snow boarding, skiing, rock-climbing and fitness. While the sportswear is the term whith stemmed from the need for functionally in sports, the Sportism is the style inspired by the formative elements, that is, the details, the silhouette, and the colors of the sportswear. New technologies for sports, the powerful influence of youthful culture, and the celebritizations of the sports stars made the sports look more popular. It can be categorized into three aesthetic values, i.e., the functional sportism, the street sportism, and the futuristic sportism. The functional sportism is expressed with the details of function, simplicity, and no useless ornament, the street sportism with fun, androgynous and unisex mode and the image of hip-hop look and traditional look, the futuristic sportism with new high tech fabrics and cyber style. The characters of these are a sence of unisex, sensualness, ostentation, renovation.

Diet is an important focus in solidifying the fundamentals of health; thus, it is necessary to offer and manage accurate and correct information. This study examined the effects of body part satisfaction and attitude on diet, in female college students, who are known to be very interested in their appearances and tend to have a strong propensity to consume. The data were gathered using questionnaires answered by 101 female college students living in Daegu City, after classifying the women into normal weight and overweight groups, respectively. According to the analyzed results, there were no significant differences in satisfaction by body part between the normal weight and overweight groups, however, both groups were found to be dissatisfied with the following body parts, in the order of: thighs > legs > and hips. The motivation factors for weight control were found to be in order: not having a boyfriend > lacking of confidence > seeing slender entertainment stars, and there were no significant differences between the two groups. Finally, the main reasons for weight control were in order: appearance > health > getting a job. It is anticipated that these results will contribute to preparing systematic solutions to promote healthy diets and body satisfaction in society, and will help bring a desirable change in perceptions about diet.

We surveyed the bycatch and discard of the shrimp-pot fishery in Hokkaido, Japan, three times during the major fishing period in September 2005. The surveyed catches were analyzed to separate bycatch, discard, and landings. To analyze bycatch and discard, we randomly selected 2 shrimp pots from each of 7 sets, for a total of 14 pots per survey. The total bycatch and discards from the rest of the shrimp pots were also analyzed in each survey. The total catch averaged 12 species. Coonstripe and pink shrimp catches averaged 74.7 kg/haul and 12.7 kg/haul, respectively. The weight of the bycatch averaged 33.4 kg/haul. The bycatch consisted mainly of snail fishes(5.1%), brittle stars(5.0%), and short-spined sea urchins(4.1%). Our analysis showed that the ratio of discard was 0.38, the rate of the discard was 27.4%, and the discard per unit effort was 33.4 kg/haul. The Hokkaido shrimp-pot fishermen discarded all of the bycatch except shrimps. Hence, the weight of the bycatch was equal to the weight of the discard. Our results comprise preliminary data that can be used to find ways to reduce bycatch and discard in the shrimp-pot fishery.

Unsteady nonlinear wave motions on the free surface over a plane beach of constant slope are numerically simulated using a finite difference method in rectangular grid system. Two-dimensional Navier-Stokes equations and the continuity equation are used for the computations. Irregular leg lengths and stars are employed near the boundaries of body and free surface to satisfy the boundary conditions. Also, the free surface which consists of markers or segments is determined every time step with the satisfaction of kinematic and dynamic free surface conditions. Moreover, marker-density method is also adopted to allow plunging jets impinging on the free surface. The second-order Stokes wave theory and solitary wave theory are employed for the generation of waves on the inflow boundary. For the simulation of wave breaking phenomena, the computations are carried out with the plane beach of constant slope in surf zone. The results are compared with each other. The marker-density method is better then the hybrid method. Also they are compared with other existing experimental results. The Agreement between the experimental data and the computation results is good.

2,097 deaths out of 5,229 by traffic accident occurred by vehicle to vehicle crash and 855 deaths out of 2,097 occurred at side crash in 2011. Korean government adopted New Car Assessment Program to reduce the wounded and deaths at traffic accident in 1999 and side impact test has been added in 2003. 43 out of 53 vehicles tested in NCAP side impact rated 4 and 5 stars means the highest occupant protection. In this study three small class vehicles have been tested according to Insurance Institute for Highway Safety's side crashworthiness test protocol. IIHS test protocol uses 1,500kg moving barrier rather than NCAP's 950kg and the occupant protection rated Good, Acceptable, Marginal and Poor based on injury measure, structural integrity and head protection.

Gamma Cassiopeae has been observe at Yonsei University Observatory(YUO) for 31 nights in the period 1983-1987 and a total of 312 UBV observations(104 in each colour) was secured. Light curves of ${\gamma}$ Cas in V, B-V, and U-B have been constructed with the YUO data; among them we present selected light curves of 5 different long nights. Discussed are the general photometric behaviour of ${\gamma}$ Cas, especially in connection with B-V changes, V/R variations of $H\alpha$ and H$\beta$, and high velocity narrow component(hvnc) exhibited in the far UV. Six spectral image sets of $\varepsilon$Per archived on IUE satellite are reduced and their line profiles in C IV and Si IV resonance lines are analyzed to find out any change, but the evidence is unlikely.

Fashion trend is more than a social phenomenon that multitudes of people accept as popular styles of clothing. The purpose of this study was to understand the influence of fashion trend over time and distance. Geographically thousands of miles apart, the U.S. has strongly influenced fashion in Korea, revealed by references and historic depictions collected from literature and web sites. Results of the study are summarized as five issues: First, emergence of female missionaries from the U.S. American missionaries working in the late Great Korean Empire performed a significant role importing Western culture to Korea. Second, as opportunities of education increased, women studying abroad introduced Western fashion to Koreans when they returned to Korea. They were more open to Western culture than other Koreans and moderately harmonized their Korean sentiment and Western culture, mitigating cultural shock and enabled other Koreans to accept Western culture. Third, the effect of fashionistas on media. Singers working for U.S. armies stationed in Korea and movie stars appearing in Hollywood movies profoundly affected Korean pop culture and fashion trends in Korea. Fourth, following First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy of the U.S. She was an influential figure in those days and a fashion leader as well. Lastly, acceptance of working girl fashion depicted in American television shows. American working girls depicted on American TV shows were highly admired by young Korean women, so the fashion of American working girls became a major fad among young Korean women.

Results of 6 nights of CCD VR photometry of the nova-like variable V603 Aquilae (Nova Aquilae 1918) obtained at the Mallorcian 35-cm telescope in July 2004 are reported. The ephemeris for the superhump maximum is Max.HJD=2453213.60546(96)+0.14813(10)E. The waves with $3.^d9,\;1.^d4,\;0.^d135$ are statistically significant, which may be interpreted as the negative superhump-orbital, the beat periods (negative superhump- positive superhump) and the negative superhump with low amplitude, respectively. Another possible time-scale is $0.^d8,$ which has no coincidence with the beat periods. Quasi-periodic oscillations with an effective period of 18 minutes have been detected, which are close to 15.6 minutes reported by some authors. Their effective semi-amplitudes are $^m.045\;and\;0^m.051$ for V and R, respectively. This corresponds to the 0.12 mag excess in the color index V-R as compared with the mean color, which can be understood as the pulsed emission in the hotter inner parts of the accretion disk, similar to that observed in TT Ari and MV Lyr.
