농촌주택 및 목조주택 표준모델 구조체의 습·열 환경 성능 개선 방안 (Hygrothermal Performance Improvement Plan of Standard Model for Rural Housing and Wooden Housing)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate whether the standard models for rural housing and wooden housing model have performance for hygrothermal and to propose a way of improvement relevant to hygrothermal performance for those models. All of the models to be analyzed were found to have some parts that were absent of stability in terms of performance for hygrothermal. In the process of analyzing the causes and proposing improvement measures, the following conclusions were derived. Fist, The exterior surface of the structure should be composed of a structure with good moisture permeability, and for the interior surface, a variable vapor retarder paper should be applied in consideration of the reverse condensation phenomenon in summer. Second, in terms of performance for hygrothermal, applications of external insulation plaster finish to the exterior wall or of ventilation method using a rafter vent on the roof should be avoided. Third, a rain screen method with a ventilation layer should be applied to the exterior wall, and a method of constructing ventilation layer separated from the insulation layer with a vapor retarder paper should be applied to the roof. Fourth, the application of insulation materials having capillary action, such as wood fiber insulation board or cellulose insulation board, contributes to more stable performance for hygrothermal.

PV 시스템이 적용된 농어촌 주택 표준모델의 에너지 경제성 분석 (Energy Economic Analysis of Standard Rural House Model with PV System)

  • 국가 에너지 소비의 25%를 차지하는 건물에너지의 저감과 귀농인구의 증가에 따른 저에너지 친환경 주택모델의 수요 충족을 위해 EnergyPlus를 사용하여 PV 시스템이 적용된 농어촌 주택 표준모델의 건물에너지요구량을 기반으로 경제성 분석을 하였다. 2가지 타입의 PV 시스템이 적용되었고 발전된 전력을 건물의 냉방기기와 전기기기, 그리고 난방기기에 사용하였다. 계산에 사용된 주택의 연간 건물에너지요구량은 난방이 냉방에 비해 7배 크게 나타났다. Case1과 Case2로 나누어 PV 시스템의 경제성분석을 실시한 결과, Case1은 냉난방 및 전기기기에 발전된 전력을 사용하고 판매하는 것이, Case2는 냉방과 전기기기에만 전력을 사용하고 전량 판매하는 것이 경제적으로 유리한 것으로 판단된다. 하지만, 향후 전력 판매가격과 가스가격이 변동되면 결과는 달라질 수 있다. 초기투자비용은 Case1이 약 13년, Case2는 약 11년이 지나면 회수되는 것으로 나타났다. Case2가 초기설치비용이 비싸지만 회수기간이 지나면 Case1보다 약 3배 더 많은 이익을 얻을 수 있어 수명연한인 25년 이상 사용 시 경제성 측면에서 유리할 것으로 판단된다.

  • Daylight is highly beneficial for improving the indoor environmental quality and reducing building energy consumption, daylighting applications are scarcely considered, especially during the Rural standard house models design process, because of lack of previous studies on elderly-light environment and complex simulation process. Therefore, daylighting process were performed using ECOTECT, which has various advantage such as easy user interface and simple simulation processes. Moreover, dynamic daylight simulation were performed using whether data. Static simulation are performed to compute static metrics such as daylight factor, whereas dynamic simulation are performed for dynamic metrics such as daylight autonomy and useful daylight illuminance using annual weather data On the basis of daylight autonomy and useful daylight illuminance analysis result, variations in annual daylight performances. A parametric and regression analysis of the window-to-wall ratio and visible transmittance showed that daylight factor, daylight autonomy increased with window-to-wall ratio and visible transmittance. It can be concluded that this new daylight criteria. useful daylight illuminance, will enable architect to obtain better fenestration design.

돈사 내부 열환경 분포의 공기연령 이론법 적용을 통한 전산유체역학 환기 예측 모델 개발 (Development of CFD model for Predicting Ventilation Rate based on Age of Air Theory using Thermal Distribution Data in Pig House)

  • The tracer gas method has an advantage that can estimate total and local ventilation rate by tracing air flow. However, the field measurement using tracer gas has disadvantages such as danger, inefficiency, and high cost. Therefore, the aim of this study was to evaluate ventilation rate in pig house by using the thermal distribution data rather than tracer gas. Especially, LMA (Local Mean Age), which is an index based on the age of air theory, was used to evaluate the ventilation rate in pig house. Firstly, the field experiment was conducted to measure micro-climate inside pig house, such as the air temperature, $CO_2$ concentration and wind velocity. And then, LMA was calculated based on the decay of $CO_2$ concentration and air temperature, respectively. This study compared between LMA determined by $CO_2$ concentration and air temperature; the average error and root mean square error were 3.76 s and 5.34 s. From these results, it was determined that thermal distribution data could be used for estimation of LMA. Finally, CFD (Computational fluid dynamic) model was validated using LMA and wind velocity. The mesh size was designed to be 0.1 m based on the grid independence test, and the Standard $k-{\omega}$ model was eventually chosen as the proper turbulence model. The developed CFD model was highly appropriate for evaluating the ventilation rate in pig house.

농촌주택의 주거 공간구조 개선방안 (An Alternative Improved-Layout of Rural House Plot)

  • Considering that rural village had evolved through a long-sustained effort of harmnization with nature, there should be the wisdom not only to reflect the level of rural resident's housing demand, but also to conserve the traditional characteristics of high-valuation in the modern rural housing. In Korea , standard design proposals of rural houses had been made public three times ; in 1972 , 1984 and 1995. so , firstly, this study analysed the inner-space layouts of design proposals mentioned above, from which changes and problems in the past housing design were derived. And also, through, the positive acceptance of residents' opinion living inthe houses built by standard design proposals in 1970 ~1980's, improved design principles and an alternative model were proposed , finally. The inner-space structed of standard design proposals in 1970s was originated from small-scaled and low-priced one, basically under the " open system". In 1980s, the basic design principle changed to the 'closed system' in which the living room being the focus of indoor family life, and , in 1990s, progressively, therural housing developed to the high qualified type by the spatial enlargement and with increased equipements. However, this structural change of rural house brought about the problem of functional separatioon between farming and daily living activities. In details, limited spaces of multipurpose spaces and sanitary facility would be mentioned as problems for improvement. conclusively in this study, newoly arranged "open system" was recommended , as a basic design principle for theinner space structure formation of rural house, which easily links the constituent inner-house spaces to outer one. Based on this principle, the detailed design criterial was proposed as follows ; 1. The living room be directly linked to the front-yard and centrally placed, the addtional space of which could be secured for the special family events by the flexibleuse of its adjacent room or by the housing of male quarters(separated from main building quarter). 2. The kitchen also be directly linked to side-yard and to livng room , for the convenience of farming activities and the shortening of path flow housewife. 3. The expanded toilet-and-bathroom be placed in the directly connected left-hand side to the living room and also be allowed access through multipurpose spaces to out door. 4. The multipurpose spaces be directly connected to the kitchen and the toilet and-bathroom , of which function would be for undressing of working clothes, quickwashing and ordinary working.nd ordinary working.

농어촌 주택 표준모델의 냉난방에너지요구량 분석 (Heating and Cooling Energy Demand Analysis of Standard Rural House Models)

  • 농어촌 주택 표준모델에 대한 연간 건물에너지요구량을 DesignBuilder를 사용하여 계산하였다. 실내설정온도, 외벽의 열관류율, 창호타입, 환기량을 변화시키며 건물의 설계/운영 변수들이 에너지요구량에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 건물의 크기와 상관없이 난방에너지요구량이 냉방에너지요구량보다 더 큰 것으로 나타났다. 단열재 두께를 증가시켜 외벽의 열관류율을 감소시키면 단열효과의 증가로 난방에너지요구량은 감소하지만 냉방에너지요구량이 증가한다. 하지만 외벽의 열관류율 조절을 통한 난방에너지요구량의 절감에는 한계가 있으므로 외부에 직접 노출된 외벽의 면적을 최소화하는 것이 더 효과적인 것으로 판단된다. 계산에 사용된 4가지 창호 중 일반 이중창호가 난방에너지요구량 측면에서 가장 유리한 것으로 나타났다. 침기량은 일정하게 유지하고 단위시간당 환기량을 증가시킨 경우 냉방에너지요구량은 큰 변화가 없었으나 난방에너지요구량이 증가하였다. 실내의 공기질이 만족되는 범위 내에서 환기량을 최소화하는 것이 연간 건물에너지요구량을 줄이는데 유리한 것으로 판단된다.

EnergyPlus를 이용한 건물 부위별 목질제품 적용에 따른 건축물 에너지 절감 기여도 평가 (Evaluation and Analysis of The Building Energy Saving Performance by Component of Wood Products Using EnergyPlus)

  • 최근, 전 세계적으로 온실 가스 증가에 따른 기후 변화에 대한 문제가 논의되고 있다. 그중, 건축물에서의 에너지 소비량은 전체 에너지 소비량의 40%까지 증가할 것으로 예상된다. 따라서 건축물에서의 에너지 소비량 절감에 대한 노력이 필요한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는, 건물에너지 절감에 효과적으로 기여하는 재료 중 하나인 목재를 이용하여, 목질 제품 구성에 따른 중부지방과 남부지방의 난방에너지 요구량에 대하여 시뮬레이션을 통해 분석하였다. 시뮬레이션 도구는 미국 에너지부(Department of Energy)가 BLAST와 DOE-2의 장점을 결합해 만든 동적 에너지 해석 엔진인 EnergyPlus를 이용하였다. EnergyPlus는 다양한 건물 및 HVAC 시스템 구성요소(Object)에 대한 입력항목(Field)을 가지고 있으며, 특히 건물, 공조시스템, 열원기기 사이의 피드백을 통해 통합된 동시계산을 수행하며, ASHRAE Standard 140-2007 표준에 따라 상용 프로그램 간의 비교를 통해 검증된 프로그램이다. 시뮬레이션을 위한 기상데이터는 EnergyPlus에서 제공하는 IWEC 인천 지역과 광주 지역의 epw 형식 기상데이터를 이용하였다. 대상 모델은 한국농어촌공사에서 제시한 2012년 농 어촌주택 표준설계도면 중 '농림-12-26-가' 유형을 이용하였으며 총 10개의 실로 구성되어 있다. 시뮬레이션 분석 결과, 중부지방과 남부지방 별 목질 제품의 적용 범위를 실내마감재, 실외마감재, 창호, 목구조로 단계적으로 변경해 지역에 따라 각각 16 Case의 시뮬레이션을 수행한 결과 실내외의 마감재로 목재를 사용한 것만으로도 에너지 성능이 향상된 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

주택에서의 단열성능 강화가 냉난방부하에 미치는 영향 (The Strengthening Effect of the Heating and Cooling Load on the Thermal Performance in the Housing Unit)

  • In this study, we chose the rural house as a standard model. In order to review the energy difference of cooling and heating loads, we changed the thermal transmittance standards. By using the thermal transmittance standard in 2011 as the Basic CASE, the thermal transmittance standard in 2013 as well as 2016, and the thermal transmittance standard of passive houses, we compared the results with regard to the cooling and heating energy load. Because of the heat loss, it can be confirmed that with an improved thermal performance of the building structure, the maximum increase of the cooling energy load was 36 kWh from June to September. Because of the heat loss, it was also confirmed that with the improved thermal performance of a building structure, the maximum decrease of the heating energy load is 1,498 kWh from November to April. Even though the heat loss of the building structure could decrease the cooling energy load by improving thermal transmittance standards in Korea, the energy saving performance is worse than the situation of heating energy load in heating period. Compared with CASE 1 and CASE 2, as well as CASE 1 and CASE 3, we CASE 3 was found to have the best energy saving rate when compared to the other cases : CASE 3 increased by 1,452 kWh and CASE 2 by 588 kWh, because the window thermal transmittance standard of 2016 was added.

Community Participation in Cholangiocarcinoma Prevention in Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand: Relations with Age and Health Behavior

  • A high prevalence of Opisthorchis viverrini infection is usually found in wetland geographical areas of Thailand where people have traditional behavior of eating uncooked freshwater fish dishes which results in cholangiocarcinoma (CCA) development. There were several approaches for reducing opisthorchiasis-linked CCA, but the prevalence remains high. To develop community participation as a suitable model for CCA prevention is, firstly, to know what factors are related. We therefore aimed to investigate factors associated with the community participation in CCA prevention among rural residents in wetland areas of Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand. This was a cross-sectional analytic study. All participants were 30-69 years of age, and only one member per house was invited to participate. A total of 906 participants were interviewed and asked to complete questionnaires. Independent variables were socio-demographic parameters, knowledge, health belief and behavior to prevent CCA. The dependent variable was community participation for CCA prevention. Descriptive statistics were computed as number, percentage, mean and standard deviation. Associations were assessed using logistic regression analysis with a P-value <0.05 considered statistically significant. Of all the participants, more than 60% had regularly participated in activities to prevent CCA following health officials advice. Age and health behavior to prevent CCA were factors associated with community participation for CCA (p<0.001). Both factors will be taken into consideration for community participation approaches for CCA prevention through participatory action research (PAR) in future studies.
