공학설계입문 운영사례를 통한 설계과제 평가기준 탐색 (A Study on Evaluation Criteria of Design Project though a Case Study of Introduction to Engineering Design Course)

  • This paper explores and proposes the evaluation criteria of design projects in the entry-level design course. In the entry-level engineering design course the students proceeds various design projects to understand the concept of engineering design process and to develop the creativity. The evaluation criteria of design projects is very important component because the outcome of students in the engineering design course are effected from the evaluation criteria that enforces the students to focus on doing their task. According to this case study the evaluation criteria can be good solution to evaluate the design projects. By the outcome standard of ABEEK on the entry-level engineering design course the evaluation criteria was selected with the results of design projects such as design plan, report, handicrafts, objectives.

  • In this paper, we propose new simple and efficient stopping criteria for W-CDMA turbo decoding. The new criteria are based on the sum of logarithm of absolute extrinsic information values and the count of one-estimations calculated after each component decoder. The calculation of the proposed criteria can be made simpler by summing one of ten values without any penalty. This Proposed method can be implemented with negligible overhead and no extra memory. Simulation results on W-CDMA standard shows that the number of iterations required is reduced compared to the existing stopping criteria without degrading the BER performance. Reduced iterations and simple operations make the proposed criteria desirable for low-power turbo decoder.

  • Objectives: The aim of this study is to explore and investigate the status of EMR currently used in Korean medical institutions and the suitability of the existing certification criteria for Korean medicine EMR certification. Methods: The survey was conducted using a related questionnaire from September to October 2022. The survey for current status and the suitability of the existing certification criteria was conducted separately between Korean medical institutions and Korean medicine EMR companies. Results: In a survey of Korean medical institutions on the current status of EMR, more than 80% answered that the imaging system and Korean medicine EMR could be linked. Most medical institutions did not exchange clinical information between institutions. When asked about the intention to develop standard EMR of Korean medicine in the future, 57% of institutions answered 'yes'. In future, if Korean medicine EMR certification criteria are developed, all EMR companies are willing to develop the EMR that satisfy them. Looking at the satisfaction survey of the existing EMR certification criteria of the Korean medicine EMR system, it was found that high/low satisfaction was shown in various areas, and in particular, the overall clinical information exchange function was insufficient. Conclusion: In order to introduce the Korean medicine EMR certification criteria, it must be considered of the current status of EMR and applicability of Korean medicine EMR for establishment of Korean medicine standard EMR certification criteria. By developing Korean medicine EMR certification criteria, high-quality medical services can be provided to medical consumers who want Korean medical treatment.

의약품 사용 오류 (Types of Medication Error to Be Used in Korea)

  • Objectives: To explore prevalently used types of medication error and the types of medication error which would be appropriate to be used in Korea. Methods: In depth literature review was performed to explore the mostly used types of medication error in the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia, and Japan. We intended to examine experts' view on the suitability of the types of medication error to be used in Korea. The types of medicati0on error were classified by activity criteria, severity criteria, process criteria, and responsible person criteria based on literature reviews. Results: According to the result of literature review, activity criteria was the most commonly used type of medication error. Ten experts in the area of patient-safety and medication error responded and the top two types of medication error which were appropriate and suitable to be used in Korea were severity criteria and activity criteria. Conclusion: Severity criteria and activity criteria could be recommended to be used as the standard types of medication error in Korea although there are other types of criteria such as process criteria and responsible person criteria.

친환경 주거단지의 거주자 만족도 비교를 통한 친환경 건축물 인증제도 효과 및 개선방향 연구 (A Study on the Effect and Improvement Directions of KGBCC based on the Comparison of Green Residents Satisfaction)

  • The KGBCC(Korean Green Building Certification Criteria), which is the assessment standard of green buildings, is not enough to reflect all the current demands of residents. Therefore, the comparative analysis between the certification score and the residents' satisfaction of a promotional green apartment, a awarded green apartment, and a certified green building apartment was carried out to derive improvements of the KGBCC. The residents of selected three apartments were surveyed through the assessment items of the KGBCC. According to the research, the certified green building apartment shows the highest certification score and residents' satisfaction overall, compared with other two apartments. Finally, the improvements of KGBCC were determined through the reason of the residents' dissatisfaction. The KGBCC that is improved by this study can be used for the new assessment standard of green buildings.

AHP기법 적용을 통한 수산양식장 평가방식 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of the Aquaculture Evaluation Method by using AHP)

  • The purpose of this study is to help domestic aquaculture farm by improved evaluation method. First, We analyzed evaluation method of domestic aquaculture certification, the greater retailer's supplier and global standard. Next, By using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), We found priority and importance between criteria of SQF(Safety Quality Food) standard which is appled to alternative model for aquaculture evaluation. As a result is presented as follows: regarding pairwise comparison between System Element module and Good Aquaculture Practice(GAP) module, GAP is recognized to be more important than System Element. The highest priority criteria is presented 'Purchase and Use of Medications, Aquaculture Feeds and Aquaculture Chemicals.' Next, 'Management commitment', 'Attaining Food Safety', 'Location and Layout of Structures and Vessels', 'Stock Identification and Traceability are recognized high position. This study has major implications for research into development of evaluation method.

점도변화에 따른 바닥 오염물질의 미끄러짐 저항 특성 (Slip Resistance of Contaminants on the Floor for Variation of Viscosity)

  • While there is no standards on slip risk for contaminants on surface, glycerol is described in standard contaminant for measuring coefficient of friction(COF) and slip resistance such as ISO 13287. But that is just used to measure the slip resistance of surface materials and shoes not to evaluate the contaminant materials. Therefore the objective of this study was to find out the relationship between standard contaminant and the contaminants used usually at the workplaces. For this, some measurement criteria were acquired from the analysis based on biomechanics and kinetics of human gait during slips. The slip resistance according to viscosity of the contaminants was measured applying the criteria and slip probability was determined by the gait analysis. Some factors which should be considered when measuring the slip resistance were identified. The velocity, acceleration, contact time and contact pressure should be 1 m/sec, 10 $m/sec^2$, 350 kPa and less than 0.5sec respectively. The variation of viscosity according to temperature for working oils was different from that of standard contaminant. The static coefficient of friction (SCOF) of working oils was almost 0.5 times as large as the SCOF of standard contaminant. So it was assumed to be difficult to compare the contaminants at the workplaces with the glycerol as a standard contaminant for estimating the slip risk.

A Study on Redefining the Concept and Standard Range for Small Enterprise

  • Purpose - This study aims to clarify the meanings of small enterprise and modify criteria for explaining its range. Prioritizing the number of full time workers first and the sales next are proper as a new concept and range. Research design, data, and methodology - In research, 'small company' is a basic concept because the range of its standard is categorized as a 'small company' in the policy system of small & medium business. This study focuses on the solutions with ① evaluation on sales, ② standard for excluded ones ③ regulation for excluded business types in 'Act on Protection and Support for Small Enterprise'. Results - Clarifying the range of standard with maintaining the title is advisable. The scope should resist the current criteria or adopt a new standard which contains not only full time workers but also the sales. The new one may raise the policies' effectiveness because it can sort the 1% people of small enterprises. Conclusions - However, there should be a preventive system for sorting out the non-eligible ones not conformed to the CAP for small company. Therefore, it is desirable to prepare the system with 'unsuitable ones list' or regulate large income·inappropriate business types in 'Act on protection and support for small enterprise'.

교차검증과 SVM을 이용한 도시침수 위험기준 추정 알고리즘 적용성 검토 (Applicability study on urban flooding risk criteria estimation algorithm using cross-validation and SVM)

  • 본 연구는 도시침수 위험기준이 산정되지 않은 지역의 예·경보 기준을 예측하기 위해 유역특성 자료와 피해이력 기반으로 산정된 한계강우량을 활용하여 도시침수 위험기준을 추정하는 모델을 검토하였다. 위험기준 추정모델은 머신러닝 알고리즘의 하나인 Support Vector Machine을 이용하여 설계하였으며, 학습자료는 지역별 한계강우량과 유역특성으로 구성하였다. 학습자료는 정규화 한 후 SVM 알고리즘에 적용하였으며, SVM에 적용시 Leave-One-Out과 K-fold 교차검증 알고리즘을 이용하여 절대평균오차와 표준편차를 계산한 후 모델의 성능을 평가하였다. Leave-One-Out의 경우 표준편차가 작은 모델이 최적모델로 선정되었으며, K-fold의 경우 fold의 개수가 적은 모델이 선정되었다. 선정된 모델의 지속시간별 평균 정확도는 80% 이상으로 나타나 침수 위험기준 추정을 위해 SVM을 활용가능 할 것으로 판단된다.

우수유출 모형을 이용한 합류식하수관로시스템의 월류량, 월류빈도 산정 기준 결정 연구 (Criteria for calculation of CSO volume and frequency using rainfall-runoff model)

  • It is widely known that untreated Combined Sewer Overflows (CSOs) that directly discharged from receiving water have a negative impact. Recent concerns on the CSO problem have produced several large scale constructions of treatment facilities, but the facilities are normally designed under empirical design criteria. In this study, several criteria for defining CSOs (e.g. determination of effective rainfall, sampling time, minimum duration of data used for rainfall-runoff simulation and so on) were investigated. Then this study suggested a standard methodology for the CSO calculation and support formalized standard on the design criteria for CSO facilities. Criteria decided for an effective rainfall was over 0.5 mm of total rainfall depth and at least 4 hours should be exist between two different events. An Antecedent dry weather period prior to storm event to satisfy the effective rainfall criteria was over 3 days. Sampling time for the rainfall-runoff model simulation was suggested as 1 hour. A duration of long-term simulation CSO overflow and frequency calculation should be at least recent 10 year data. A Management plan for the CSOs should be established under a phase-in of the plan. That should reflect site-specific conditions of different catchments, and formalized criteria for defining CSOs should be used to examine the management plans.
