  • Since the recently established obligation to implement safety and health measures for specialized workers as outlined in the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) for nine occupations in January 2020 and five occupations in November 2021, there is a need to verify and inspect the on-site operation of related systems. After a comprehensive fact-finding survey and risk factor analysis, it is necessary to examine the responsibility for on-site safety and preventive measures, along with the roles and responsibilities of specialized workers. Stakeholder analysis is essential to identify the fundamental problems related to the responsibility stipulated in the purpose of OSHA and to explore the entity responsible for implementing safety measures. Therefore, in this paper, we discuss the topic of implementation based on legal standards for on-site safety and preventive measures. Additionally, we develop a role model for appropriate safety measures, outlining the dynamic relationship between those who provide labor and those who provide labor in the context of specialized workers.

  • An emphasis on public-private partnership (PPP) in the regulatory policy process can overcome the challenges hindering regulatory effectiveness with the emergence of fast developing technologies and new industries. This study attempts to evaluate quantitatively different aspects of institutional settings of South Korean regulatory policy in terms of stakeholder engagement as PPP, using evidence-based data released by the OECD. From the results of the principal component analysis, South Korea can be evaluated as being at a very good level overall in its institutional establishment. Nevertheless, the fact that the outcome of regulatory reforms in South Korea is still insufficient compared with this well-established system suggests that the country should concentrate on improving system operation. Consequently, this study makes policy suggestions to improve regulatory effectiveness through PPP by supplementing the facets that are well-equipped but not feasible with respect to regulatory policy cycle, regulatory governance, regulatory method, and conflict resolution.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze integrated reporting disclosure and its implications on investor reactions. The population in this study is all manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia stock exchange from 2017 to 2019, totaling 171 companies, and the sampling technique used is purposive sampling method. The method used in this research is a quantitative description using the financial statements of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia stock exchange. The data analysis method used is multiple regression analysis with intervening variables using AMOS 24 software. The results of this study show a positive and significant effect of profitability (X1) and company size (X2) on integrated reporting (IR); a positive and insignificant effect of stakeholder pressure (X3) on integrated reporting (IR); a positive and significant effect of profitability (X1) and stakeholder pressure (X3) on investor reactions (Y); a positive and insignificant effect of firm size (X2) and integrated reporting (IR) on investor reactions (Y). Suggestions are that in further studies, we can increase the sample size by including other industries, and in addition to using annual reporting, we can also use other sources such as websites, press releases, and prospectuses to improve the robustness of this study by relying on other data sources.

  • Because of a wide range of performance and diversity of project and uncertainty caused by complexity and a number of stakeholder, conflict occur necessarily in Urban generation including large-scale and many project which do the same time, for long time. so active conflict management which recognized risk before the fact and deal with conflict is necessarily needed. Therefore, This study is typing conflict cases and indicating critical conflict type through analysis on conflict case about process and stakeholder of urban generation to offer information which is referred to finding a solution when conflict occur by forecasting conflict that can occur before the fact.

  • The purpose of this paper is to analyze the relationship between the ratio of non-controlling shareholder interests (minority equity ratio, MER) and the measurement error in real activities manipulation (RM) proxy for Japanese firms. Many Japanese firms have practiced stakeholder-oriented corporate governance systems. Previous studies suggest that the higher the MER, the more Japanese businesses tend to employ management techniques for the group's sales growth while also reallocating resources inside the group to reduce principal-principal conflicts. Such differences in management strategies by firms could lead to measurement error in the RM proxy. The analysis uses 16,450 firm-years listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. The results of our analysis show that there is a positive relationship between MER and the RM proxy, and high persistence of RM proxies, suggesting that the RM proxies may contain measurement error. We also find that MER is correlated with variables associated with management strategy and that controlling for these variables can reduce the measurement error of RM proxy in firms with large MER. This study extends previous research on measurement error in RM proxy by relating them to ownership structure and corporate governance. This paper would contribute to researchers examining issues related to RM.

  • This study is to explore how the stakeholder views the community needs in a different way in the local district of Korea. The researchers delivered the 3 independent questionnaires to the three types of the community people who are residents, social service providers, governmental officials in charge of local social services. An in-depth analysis was performed to identify the different perspectives of the stakeholder toward the community needs on the basis of the combined approach with the order ranking method and two independent sample T and Z tests. As the result, the three noticeable findings were discovered as follows: First, while the social service providers reported the community needs at the most serious level, the residents expressed the community needs at the least serious level. Second, the stakeholder showed more diverse opinions for the needs of the service activities than the community problem. Third, there was a difference among the stakeholder in the degree of consensus according to the two different analysis methods. The researchers discussed the implication of the major findings in relation to the community needs assessment, and suggested the practical recommendations to improve the activities of the community needs assessment for the community welfare planning in Korea.

  • This study undertakes a simulation analysis for evaluating the benefits and costs of smart grid hub project. The purpose of the study is to explore extensively the alternatives for infrastructure configurations and identify the best scenarios that can satisfy all the stakeholder needs. We consider 19 parameters for configurating a smart grid hub city, and take a strategy of exhaustive search to find configurations that meet the two criteria simultaneously: each stakeholder's B/C ratio should be equally distributed and the B/C ratio of the entire city should be maximized. The results offer some meaningful implications for building a successful deployment strategy that can facilitate the diffusion of smart grid technologies.
