저레이놀즈수 $k-\epsilon$ 난류모델을 사용한 엇갈린 관군 주위에서의 유동 및 열전달에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Fluid Flow and Heat Transfer Around a Staggered Tube Bundles Using a Low-Reynolds $k-\epsilon$ Turbulence Model)

  • Turbulent flow and heat transfer characteristics around staggered tube bundles were studied using a non-orthogonal boundary fitted coordinate system and the low Reynolds .kappa. - .epsilon. turbulence model suggested by Lam and Bremhorst. The predicted flow characteristics for two tube pitches and tube arrangement showed good agreement with the experimental data except the strongly curved region. The predicted Nusselt number was compared with measurements obtained in the staggered rough bundles and it revealed the similar trend to measurements, but the location of the maximum and minimum heat transfer differed somewhat from the measurements.

  • 본 연구에서는 풍동을 사용한 모델 실험을 통하여 어긋난 배열을 갖는 파이프 집합체 모델의 고유진동수와 감쇄비를 변화시키면서 3가지 P/D값에서의 불안정 임계속 도를 실험으로 구하였다. 이와 같은 실험은 Connors, Pettigrew Gorman, Weaver & Grover, Tanaka등 많은 사람에 의하여 산발적으로 발표되어 졌으나 본 연구에서는 파 이프 집합체의 P/D값을 바꾸어 가며 넓은 질량―감쇄비 영역에서 체계적으로 실험을 수행하고 그 결과를 비교 분석하였다.

멀티패스 밀폐식 냉각탑의 성능특성에 대한 수치적 연구 (A Numerical Study on Performance Characteristics of a Closed Circuit Cooling Tower with Multi Paths)

  • A closed circuit cooling tower having high temperature of cooling water and small water flow rate is investigated. To study the characteristics of the heat transfer of heat exchanges in a cooling tower with multi paths a numerical method is used. The results show that the staggered tube arrangements in a bank show better performance than aligned ones for temperature variation with various outer diameters of tube bundles. In case of one pass, the 15.88 mm tube case shows about 9% better performance than the 25.4 mm tube case. In two paths, the tube outside diameter of 15.88 mm show about 14.4% better results than the 25.4 mm diameter case.

  • A plate-fin-tube heat exchanger used for a $SF_{6}$ gas-insulated transformer is extremely important since the dissipation of the heat generated from inside coils has a significant effect on the performance as well as the durability of the transformer. The heat exchanger consists of corrugated plate fins and staggered array tube bundles for coolant. In order to find out heat transfer and pressure drop characteristics, series of numerical analyses for plate fins with enhanced surface geometries were conducted. Based on the results of the numerical analyses, an improved model of the plate fin has been proposed.
