LDV에 의한 곡관덕트에서 난류맥동유동의 유동특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on Flow Characteristics of Turbulent Pulsating Flow in a Curved Duct by using LDV)

  • In the present study, flow characteristics of turbulent pulsating flow in a square-sectional $180^{\circ}$ curved duct were experimentally investigated. Experimental studies for air flows were conducted to measure axial velocity and wall shear stress distributions and entrance length in a square-sectional $180^{\circ}$ curved duct by using the LDV with the data acquisition and the processing system. The experiment was conducted in seven sections from the inlet (${\phi}=0^{\circ}$) to the outlet (${\phi}=180^{\circ}$) at $30^{\circ}$ intervals of the duct. The results obtained from the experimentation were summarized as follows ; (1) When the ratio of velocity amplitude ($A_1$) was less than one, there was hardly any velocity change in the section except near the wall and any change in axial velocity distributions along the phase. When the ratio of velocity amplitude ($A_1$) was 0.6, the change rate of velocity was slow. (2) Wall shear stress distributions of turbulent pulsating flow were similar to those of turbulent steady flow. The value of the wall shear stress became minimum in the inner wall aid gradually increased toward the outer wall where it became maximum. (3) The entrance length of turbulent pulsating flow reached near the region of bend angle of $90^{\circ}$, like that of turbulent steady flow. The entrance length was changed by the dimensionless angular frequency (${\omega}^+$).

단락 요철이 설치된 내부 냉각유로에서 회전에 따른 열/물질전달 특성 연구 (Experimental Study of Heat/Mass Transfer in Rotating Cooling Passages with Discrete Ribs)

  • The present study has been conducted to investigate the effect of discrete ribs and rotation on heat/mass transfer characteristics in a two-pass square duct with $90^{\circ}-rib$ turbulators. The rib turbulator has a square cross section of 1.5 mm. The rib height-to-hydraulic diameter ratio $({e/D_{h})$ is 0.056, and the rib pitch-to-rib height ratio (p/e) is 10. The gap width is the same as the rib height. The rotation number ranges from 0.0 to 0.2 while Reynolds number is fixed to 10,000. In a stationary duct, the heat/mass transfer on the surfaces with discrete ribs is enhanced because the gap flow promotes local turbulence and flow mixing near the ribbed surface. In a rotating duct, the gap flow affects differently the heat/mass transfer on leading and trailing surfaces with discrete ribs. On the leading surface of the first pass, heat/mass transfer is increased due to the gap flow. On the trailing surface of the first pass, however, heat/mass transfer is decreased because the gap flow disturbs reattachment of main flow. The phenomenon, that is, the difference of heat transfer between the leading and the trailing surfaces is distinctly presented by rotation.

  • The present study investigates the effects of various rib arrangements on heat/mass transfer in the cooling passage of gas turbine blades. A complex flow structure occurs in the cooling passage with rib turbulators which promote heat transfer on the wall. It is important to increase not only the heat transfer rates but also the uniformity of heat transfer in the cooling passage. A numerical computation is performed using a commercial code to calculate the flow structures and experiments are conducted to measure heat/mass transfer coefficients using a naphthalene sublimation technique. A square channel (50 mm $\times$ 50 mm) with rectangular ribs (4 mm $\times$ 5 mm) is used fur the stationary duct test. The experiments focus on the effects of rib arrangements and gap positions in the discrete ribs on the heat/mass transfer on the duct wall. The rib angle of attack is 60°and the rib-to-rib pitch is 32 mm, that is 8 times of the rib height. With the inclined rib angle of attack (60°), the parallel rib arrangements make a pair of counter rotating secondary flows in the cross section, but the cross rib arrangements make a single large secondary flow including a small secondary vortex. These secondary flow patterns affect significantly the heat/mass transfer on the ribbed wall. The heat/mass transfer in the parallel arrangements is 1.5 ∼2 times higher than that in the cross arrangements. However, the shifted rib arrangements change little the heat/mass transfer from the inline rib arrangements. The gap position in the discrete rib affects significantly the heat/mass transfer because a strong flow acceleration occurs locally through the gap.

Krylov-Schur 순환법에 의한 2차원 사각도파관에서의 고유치 문제에 관한 연구 (A Study On The Eigen-properties of A 2-D Square Waveguide by the Krylov-Schur Iteration Method)

  • Krylov-Schur 반복법을 활용하여 2-차원 사각 도파관에서 나타나는 고유특성을 밝혔다. 고유 행렬 방정식은 삼각형 그물 요소의 접선을 기저벡터로 사용한 FEM(유한요소법)으로 구성하였다. 우선 Arnoldi 분해법을 이용하여 이 방정식에 대한 상위 Hessenberg 행렬을 구하였다. 그리고 QR 알골리즘을 통하여 이것을 삼각형 대각 행렬인 Shur 형태로 변형하였다. 수렴 조건에 부합된 몇몇 고유 값들이 삼각형 대각 행렬의 대각 요소에 나타났다. 이들에 대응하는 고유 모드들을 역-반복법으로 구하였다. 수렴조건에 부합되는 고유 값들은 Shur 행렬의 대각선 선두 부분으로 재배열시켰다. 이들은 나머지 고유값 및 고유모드의 쌍을 구하는 반복 과정에서 변형되지 않도록 배제되었다. 이 과정이 연속하여 서너 번 반복되었는데, 그 결과 충분한 신뢰도를 갖는 주요한 몇 개의 TM 및 TE 고유 쌍들이 구하여졌다.

탄소섬유강화플라스틱 재료 레저선박의 구조강도 평가를 위한 시험설비 구축과 운용에 관한 연구 (The Development of Structural Test Facility for the Strength Assessment of CFRP Marine Leisure Boat)

  • This paper deals with the development of structural test facility for the strength assessment of marine leisure boat built from carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP) materials. The structural test facility consists of test jig, load application and control system, and data acquisition system. Test jig, and load application and control system are designed to accommodate various size and short span to depth ratios of single skin, top-hat stiffened and sandwich constructions in plated structural format such as square and rectangular shapes. A lateral pressure load, typical and important applied load condition to the plates of the hull structure for marine leisure boat, is simulated by employing a number of hydraulic cylinders operated automatically and manually. To examine and operate the structural test facility, five carbon/epoxy based FRP square plates having the test section area of $1m^2$, which are part of CFRP marine leisure boat hull, are prepared and they are subjected to monotonically increasing lateral pressure loads. In the test preparation, considering the symmetry of the plates geometry, various strain gauges and linear variable displacement transformer are used in conjunction with data acquisition system utilizing LabVIEW. From the test observation, the responses of the CFRP hull structure of marine leisure boat are understood by obtaining load to deflection and strain to load curves.

CHAID분석을 이용한 서울시 지하철 역세권 지가 영향모형 개발 (Development of Selection Model of Subway Station Influence Area (SIA) in Seoul City using Chi-square Automatic Interaction Detection (CHAID))

  • 본 연구는 합리적인 역세권 범위를 설정하고 이에 미치는 요인을 규명하기 위해 CHAID분석을 이용하여 서울시의 강남 강북지역에 대해 SIA모형을 개발하였으며, 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 지하철 역세권에 영향을 미치는 변수를 중심으로 상관관계를 분석한 결과, 역세권 지가에 영향을 미치는 주요요인이 도보거리로 나타났으며, 두 관계를 이용하여 SIA모형을 개발하였다. 둘째, SIA모형식(선형식, 2차 다항식)을 비교분석한 결과, 강남 북의 역세권의 범위는 지하철역사로부터 도보거리기준으로 강남지역이 767m, 강북지역이 452m로 각각 다르게 나타났다. 셋째, 강남지역의 구간 1(0$\leq$175m)의 경우 역으로부터 거리와 가격과의 관계가 선형이 아닌 2차 다항식의 형태를 나타내고 있다 따라서 현행 도시철도법상 역세권 범위 반경 500m의 기준을 획일적으로 적용하기 보다는 도시의 지역적 특성을 고려하여 재설정하는 것이 바람직하다고 판단된다.

한방 산후조리 이용 산모의 특성과 치료결과 보고 - 2010년 선행 연구와의 비교 고찰 - (A Study on the Maternal Characteristics and Clinical Changes After Korean Medicine Postpartum Care - A Comparative Study with Pre-Study in 2010 -)

  • Objectives: This study aims to assess the maternal characteristics and changes of body among patients who received Korean medicine postpartum care compared to pre-study. Methods: From January 1, 2018 to February 28, 2019, we included 31 postpartum patients who had body composition analysis at admission and discharge among 34 patients who received postpartum care in ${\square}{\square}$ University Hospital. We used SPSS 21.0 for window to test for statistical significance. Results: The average age, weight, and caesarean section rate increased compared to previous study. The average period of postpartum care has decreased. After postpartum care, abdominal circumference, body weight and Body Mass Index (BMI) was significantly decreased, but not as much as pre-study. The coefficient of determination was derived to predict the effects of postpartum care and calculated as "$Abdominal\;circumference\;change=2.745+0.593{\times}admission\;period$", "$weight\;change=0.214+0.345{\times}admission\;period$" and "$BMI\;change=0.198+0.120{\times}admission\;period$". Conclusions: Compared to previous study, as the maternal age increased and admission period decreased, the weight loss after childbirth decreased. It is necessary to provide individual treatment through coefficient of determination.

Thermo-mechanical compression tests on steel-reinforced concrete-filled steel tubular stub columns with high performance materials

  • Cost-effective solutions provided by composite construction are gaining popularity which, in turn, promotes the appearance on the market of new types of composite sections that allow not only to take advantage of the synergy of steel and concrete working together at room temperature, but also to improve their behaviour at high temperatures. When combined with high performance materials, significant load-bearing capacities can be achieved even with reduced cross-sectional dimensions. Steel-reinforced concrete-filled steel tubular (SR-CFST) columns are one of these innovative composite sections, where an open steel profile is embedded into a CFST section. Besides the renowned benefits of these typologies at room temperature, the fire protection offered by the surrounding concrete to the inner steel profile, gives them an enhanced fire performance which delays its loss of mechanical capacity in a fire scenario. The experimental evidence on the fire behaviour of SR-CFST columns is still scarce, particularly when combined with high performance materials. However, it is being much needed for the development of specific design provisions that consider the use of the inner steel profile in CFST columns. In this work, a new experimental program on the thermo-mechanical behaviour of SR-CFST columns is presented to extend the available experimental database. Ten SR-CFST stub columns, with circular and square geometries, combining high strength steel and concrete were tested. It was seen that the circular specimens reached higher failure times than the square columns, with the failure time increasing both when high strength steel was used at the embedded steel profile and high strength concrete was used as infill. Finally, different proposals for the reduction coefficients of high performance materials were assessed in the prediction of the cross-sectional fire resistance of the SR-CFST columns.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop composite structural system which is to have versatility in plan design and to improve economical efficieney, to maximise structural capacity than existing structural system. In this viewpoint, it was investigated to the properties of structural behaviors for i oint consisting of concrete filled steel square tube column and P.C reinforced concrete beam through a series of hysteretic behavior experiment. In the previous report, researched to the properties of joints with key parameters. such as Axial Force ratio and section types. From the based on previous results, this study investigated the properties of this joints with key parameters, such as strength of concrete, size of panel zone and Axial Force ratio. The obtained results are summarised as follows. (1) Investigating for the failure mode of the beam-to-column joint, the specimens of S,LL and LH series(except for L5H) presented flexural failure mode. (2) The initial stiffness of joint was increasd as the decrease of axial force ratio and increase of the concrete strength. (3) The rotation resisting capacity was effective as the increment of the concrete strength and decrement of the axial force ratio. (4) The emprical formula to predict the ultimate capacity of joint model to introduce decrease coefficient according to the axial force ratio to superimpose shearing strength of steel web(H section) and bending strength of reinforced concrete beam was expected.

일정축력을 받는 콘크리트 충전 각형기둥의 경계조건 변화에 따른 화재거동특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Fire Behavior of CFT Column under the Constant Axial Loading Condition in Fire)

  • 콘크리트가 충전된 각형강관 기둥(CFT)은 외부에 강재가 노출된 형상으로 외측의 강관은 화재시 급격한 온도상승으로 인해 강도가 저하되나, 내부의 콘크리트는 열용량이 큰 재료로써 내화성능을 확보할 수 있는 구조로 구성되어 있다. CFT 기둥을 내화구조로서 적용하기 위해서는 구조적 성능에 영향을 미치는 인자에 대한 연구가 필요하며, 이에 대한 조건별 영향성에 관한 연구가 필요하다. 내화성능에 영향을 주는 주요인자는 콘크리트 압축강도.단면크기.축력비.경계조건이며, 그 중 기둥과 보의 경계조건은 구조적 측면에서 하중지지능력에 영향을 미치므로 내화성능을 지배하는 주요 인자 중에 하나이다. 실험결과 360단면에서는 양단 고정조건에서는 106분의 내화성능이 확보되나 양단 힌지 조건에서는 89분의 내화성능을 확보하는 것으로 나타났다. 280단면에서는 양단 고정조건에서는 113분의 내화성능이 확보되나 양단힌지 조건에서는 78분의 내화성능을 확보하였다.
