만성뇌졸중 환자의 일어서기 자세에 따른 수직지면반발력의 대칭성의 비교 (The Comparison of Symmetry of Vertical Ground Reaction Force on Pattern of Sit to Stand in the Chronic Stroke Patients)

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate the influence of posture elements on symmetrical weight bearing during STS (sit-to-stand) in patients with chronic stroke. The subjects were patients diagnosed with stroke: a total of 24 patients (16 males and 8 females) participated in this study. All the participants performed STS tasks(3 foot postures and 2 arm postures). Two force plates (AMTI) were used to measure the peak vertical ground reaction force(Peak Fz) and the symmetrical ratio to peak vertical ground reaction force. The data were analyzed using independent t-test and 2-way repeated analysis of variance. The results of this study were as follows: 1) The peak Fz placed more weight on the paretic leg during STS and 2) The symmetrical ratio to the peak Fz showed a significant difference according to the foot and arm posture (p<.05), and had the highest AYM_GA ($0.87{\pm}0.12$). These results indicate that arm and leg postures during STS in patients with chronic stroke had the highest AYM_GA. We believe that the outcome of this study will be a reference for the prognosis of STS in patients with stroke.

태권도 품새 옆차기시 타겟 높이 변화에 따른 운동학적 분석 (Kinematic and Kinetic Analysis of Taekwondo Poomsae Side Kick according to Various Heights of the Target)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study is to present the scientific and quantitative data by finding the common points and differences of the side-kick according to the height change through the difference of the side kick motion performance according to the three target height changes and the function of the lower limbs muscle in side kick motion of Taekwondo Poomsae. Method: For this, total 14 players were selected who were registered in Korea Taekwondo Association and skilled group 7 players who had a medal from national competition and 7 players who did not have Taekwondo experience from department of physics. 4 video cameras to the feature on side kick per target height, and the subjects' support foot was located on the ground reactor and the practice was conducted 3 times: waist, chest, and head as the target height. the basic materials were collected by using Kwon 3D XP program and the T-test was conducted to verify the statistic difference between groups (SPSS 24.0). At this time, the statistics significance level was set as .05 and the following conclusion was obtained. Results: The lower the proficiency and the higher the height, the more the joint coordination between the hip and the knee. Conclusion: Summary of the result shows a common point that the change of target's height makes the lower the proficiency and the higher the height, the more the joint coordination between the hip and the knee. Also, the higher the target's height became, the greater angular momentum of thighs, shanks, foot became in common.

성인 척추질환자의 발균형 및 보행형태에 대한 운동역학적 분석 (Kinetic Analysis of Foot Balance and Gait Patterns in Patients with Adult Spinal Disease)

  • Objective: The aim of this study was to provide kinematic data on the characteristics of spinal disease patients by comparing and analyzing kinematic variables related to foot balance and gait pattern of spinal disease. Method: The subjects of the study included 40 adult men and 60 adult women who visited the hospital in Busan. Patients who were diagnosed with spinal disease by a physician through X-ray examination were selected as subjects for the diagnosis of vertebral disc herniation, spinal stenosis, spinal disease diagnosed with spinal disease and the general public. Left and right foot pressure and contact area were checked by Gaitview pro meter. X-ray photographs were taken with a Zen-2090 mobile fluoroscopy under physicians' direct participation. One-way ANOVA was performed to compare the differences between the kinematic variables and post-hoc was performed by the Duncan method. Results: The difference in contact area between the left foot and the right foot was $115.30{\pm}14.15cm^2$ in the left side and $124.25{\pm}13.65cm^2$ in the left side in the spinal disease patients. The difference in pressure between the left and right side of the spinal disease patients was wider than that of the general people. Especially, the right side of the spinal disease patients showed a larger area of left foot contact than the general population. Conclusion: Spinal disease patients have wider contact area of the left foot than those of the general population. In the case of right spinal disease, the left foot support area is widened due to pain. In the gait, women showed slightly more posterior body center than men, and the upper body muscle imbalance and immobilization due to the spinal disease caused imbalance of the muscles moving to the lower limb, It was analyzed to inhibit movement.

필라테스 운동이 여중생의 요통과 체간 등속성 근력 및 평형성에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Pilates Exercises on Isokinetic Trunk Strength and Balance in Female Middle School Students with Lumbago)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this research was to investigate the effects of performing Pilates exercises for eight weeks on the isokinetic trunk strength and balance of female middle school students with lumbago. Methods: Twenty-four female students who met the test requirements were recruited and randomly divided into a control group (CG, n = 16) and a Pilates exercise group (Pilates group; PG, n = 8). The PG performed a Pilates program, which consisted of lumbar muscle strengthening exercises, for 60 minutes three times a week for eight weeks. Data analysis was conducted by two-way repeated ANOVA, and a Bonferroni test was carried out when significant differences appeared. The alpha level was set at 0.05. Results: Following the experimental treatment, the PG showed an increased trunk flexion peak torque of 17% and 13% at angular velocities of 180°/sec and 300°/sec, respectively. The intergroup comparison showed no significant difference at pre-measurement, while the PG increased about 31% (180°/sec) and 15% (300°/sec) higher than the control group at post-measurement. Following the experimental treatment, the PG showed an increased trunk extensor peak torque of approximately 29% and 21% at angular velocities of 180°/sec and 300°/sec, respectively. The intergroup comparison showed no significant difference at pre-measurement, while the PG increased approximately 27% (180°/sec) and 15% (300°/sec) higher than the control group at post-measurement. Both the CG and the PG showed a 20% and 50% decrease in pain index after the experimental treatment, respectively. After the experimental treatment, the PG had about 50% lower pain than the CG. The average error rate of static balance in the PG reduced by 19% from 3.28±0.45 to 2.65±0.36, confirming a significant improvement. Conclusion: Regular Pilates exercise for eight weeks improved the isokinetic trunk muscle strength of female middle school students with lumbago and relieved their pain. Pilates was also shown to be effective in improving balance.

프로야구 스포츠스타에 대한 관람자의 가치인식과 추구혜택 (Spectator's Value Cognition and Expected-benefit Factors on Professional Baseball Sportstar)

  • 본 연구는 프로야구경기관람자가 프로야구스포츠스타를 어떠한 가치로 인식하고 있으며, 추구하는 혜택이 무엇인지 알아보고자 하였다. 연구참여자는 2011 롯데카드 프로야구경기를 일주일 6회 경기를 기준 4회 이상 경기를 관람한 사람들 중 8명을 선정하였다. 자료수집을 위해 표적집단면접과 심층면담을 실시하였고, 관람자의 가치인식은 A-R-C욕구충족이론을, 관람자의 추구혜택은 Holt의 소비의 메타포를 통해 분석하였다. 연구의 결과 관람자들은 프로야구스포츠스타를 재미추구의 대상으로서의 가치, 관계형성의 중심인물로서의 가치 및 동일시 대상으로서의 가치로 인식한다는 것과 관람자들이 프로야구스포츠스타에게 가치관의 확인지향, 영웅적 행동 지향을 추구한다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 프로야구스포츠스타에 대한 관람자의 가치인식과 추구혜택의 관계에서는 재미추구의 가치를 인식하는 관람자는 영웅적 행동지향을 추구하였고, 관계형성의 중심인물로서의 가치를 인식하는 관람자와 동일시의 대상으로서의 가치를 인식하는 관람자는 프로야구스포츠스타를 통해 가치관의 확인 지향을 추구한다는 관계를 알 수 있었다.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 한국사회의 베이비붐 세대 여성의 운동문화의 함축적 의미를 찾는 데 있다. 전통적으로 여성은 유교사상과 함께 온화하게 좁은 보폭으로 걷고, 활발하게 달릴 수 없었다. 그러나 현대 한국사회에서 운동인구의 증가와 함께 많은 중년여성들이 운동에 참여하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 중년여성 중에서도 특히, 1955~1963년생으로 고등교육의 첫 세대인 베이비붐 여성 세대에 주목하여, 세 명의 구술생애사인터뷰를 중심으로 생애전반에 이루어졌던 운동에 대한 문화이해를 시도하고자 하였다. 이러한 결과로 놀이로써의 운동, 강요된 수업, 강화된 모성성, 성역할 수행을 위한 생존체력, 노후를 위한 준비 등의 특징을 이해할 수 있었다. 또한 운동문화연구에서 구술생애사인터뷰는 여성 삶의 역동적인 맥락을 발견하게 하며, 여성자신의 목소리가 얼마나 중요한가를 인식하게 한다.

Effects of a High-Intensity Interval Physical Exercise Program on Cognition, Physical Performance, and Electroencephalogram Patterns in Korean Elderly People: A Pilot Study

  • Background and Purpose: The effects of high-intensity interval training (HIIT) interventions on functional brain changes in older adults remain unclear. This preliminary study aimed to explore the effect of physical exercise intervention (PEI), including HIIT, on cognitive function, physical performance, and electroencephalogram patterns in Korean elderly people. Methods: We enrolled six non-dementia participants aged >65 years from a community health center. PEI was conducted at the community health center for 4 weeks, three times/week, and 50 min/day. PEI, including HIIT, involved aerobic exercise, resistance training (muscle strength), flexibility, and balance. Wilcoxon signed rank test was used for data analysis. Results: After the PEI, there was improvement in the 30-second sit-to-stand test result (16.2±7.0 times vs. 24.8±5.5 times, p=0.027), 2-minute stationary march result (98.3±27.2 times vs. 143.7±36.9 times, p=0.027), T-wall response time (104.2±55.8 seconds vs.71.0±19.4 seconds, p=0.028), memory score (89.6±21.6 vs. 111.0±19.1, p=0.028), executive function score (33.3±5.3 vs. 37.0±5.1, p=0.046), and total Literacy Independent Cognitive Assessment score (214.6±30.6 vs. 241.6±22.8, p=0.028). Electroencephalography demonstrated that the beta power in the frontal region was increased, while the theta power in the temporal region was decreased (all p<0.05). Conclusions: Our HIIT PEI program effectively improved cognitive function, physical fitness, and electroencephalographic markers in elderly individuals; thus, it could be beneficial for improving functional brain activity in this population.

지역정체성과 팀정체성, 재관람의도의 구조적 관계 : 프로축구 산업을 중심으로 (Structural Relationship among Regional Identity, Team Identification, and Re-attend Intention)

  • 최근 지역사회에 대한 관심 증대와 로컬리즘의 강화로 지역 간 경쟁이 치열해지면서 지역정체성에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있으며, 지역정체성에 대한 연구 분야 중 하나가 지역연고제를 바탕으로 운영되는 프로스포츠와의 관계에 대한 연구이다. 본 연구는 프로축구단을 대상으로 지역정체성이 팀정체성과 재관람의도에 미치는 영향을 규명하기 위해 수행되었다. 연구 대상은 D지역의 프로축구단 관람객이며 유의표본추출법에 의해 표집하고, 설문지를 통해 자료를 수집하였으며, 총 234명의 자료를 분석에 이용하였다. 자료처리는 SPSS 15.0과 AMOS 7을 이용하였고, 분석 방법은 빈도분석, 기술분석, 신뢰도분석, 상관분석, 확인적요인분석, 구조방정식 모형분석 등을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 지역정체성이 강할수록 해당 지역 연고팀에 대한 정체성이 높게 나타났다. 또한 팀정체성이 높을수록 재관람의도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 프로스포츠팀의 운영에 있어서 연고지역의 정체성에 대한 이해와 연구가 필요하다는 점을 시사해준다.

대학 골프선수들의 의도적 지연히팅 시 비거리 결정인자 분석 (An Analysis of decision Factor on Drive Distance for University Golf Player's Object Execution Using Late Hitting Method)

  • The purpose of this research was to conduct an analysis on the factors that determine the distance at the time of target swing based on the use of late hitting of outstanding college golfers to verify the difference between late hitting and the distance that target increases in regular swing and the distance. Then, this research conducts an analysis on the correlation between club head velocity, ball velocity, launch angle, back spin, meet ratio and distance that become kinematics variables at the time of target swing. To attain the above mentioned purpose, 25 outstanding college players with average experience and handicap of 6 years and 5, respectively, were targeted Comparative analysis on two swing that target increase in regular and the distance was conducted by used driver. When it pertained to two types of swing. analysis system comprised of an analytical software called the Science Eye of the Bridgestone and peripheries was used to define the relationship between variables of club head velocity, ball velocity, launch angle, back spin, meet ratio that become kinematics variables. As for the method of processing data pertaining to the factors that determine the distance, differences of distance by the type of swing was verified by using independent T-test that leveraged SPSS 120 statistics program. Moreover, level of correlation between variables that contribute to the increase in distance through relation of correlation, and analysis of tendencies was conducted to analyze tendency of non-distance to increase in accordance to the increase of each variable. Key results produced through this experiment are as follows: 1. Artificial late hitting for increased non-distance that targets skilled players had effect on increased the distance(p<. 05). 2 The drive distance is correlated with each measured variable that is positive correlation to ball velocity, club head velocity, meet ratio and relation of back spin and launch angle are negative correlation. ball velocity and club head velocity are very high correlated with drive distance(p<.01), back spin and distance are negative correlation(p<.01). 3. Among each measured variable increasing the club velocity is the most contribution, and ball velocity and meet ratio and the increasing launch angle and back spin is negative effect for increasing distance.

A study on the Hand and the Sensibility Image of Preferred Underwear Textiles

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the preference of the hand and the sensibility image of underwear textiles according to seasons. According to a recent survey of 109 college students, using a 7 scale evaluation to the preference of the hand and the sensibility image among 13 summer and 10 winter underwear textiles. The data was analyzed through mean, SD, factor analysis, t-test, Person correlation analysis and regression analysis using SPSS Win 11.0. The summer underwear textiles were classified according to six tactile factors: stiffness/surface unevenness, weight, elasticity, moistness, extension, and warm-cool and 3 sensibility image factors: elegant individual, modern, and sporty-casual. The winter textiles were classified according to six tactile factors: stiffness/surface unevenness, elasticity, warm-cool, drapability, moistness and flexibility and divided into 2 sensibility images: modern elegant and sporty-casual. Factors expressing hand and sensibility image according to season showed significant difference. In the summer, weight, in the winter, drapability and flexibility showed significant difference at the hand factor evaluation. The hand factors: weight, warm-cool and modern sensibility image factors effect the preference of summer underwear textile, also the hand factors-elasticity, stiffness/surface unevenness and the sensibility image factor-easy-sport-casual-effect the preference of winter textiles. Therefore, the thin, light, and cool textiles which are also gorgeous and sporty-casual are preferred for summer underwear textiles while soft, simple and comfortable textiles are preferred for winter textiles.
