키르기스스탄의 레몬혁명과 동서 패권주의 가능성 연구 (A study on Lemon Revolution in Kyrgyzstan and a Possibility of East-West Hegemony)

  • 기존의 장미혁명과 오렌지혁명에서도 나타났듯이, 레몬혁명에서 발생한 미국 및 서방세력의 지역패권 장악 의도는 시민혁명의 선거과정에 직접적으로 개입하거나, 혹은 선거활동을 하는 NGO 단체들을 재정적, 도덕적, 이념적 차원에서 직간접적으로 지원하여 자국에게 유리한 정권을 창출하고자 하는 형태로 나타났다. 비록 NGO 단체들에 의해 지원받은 시민단체들이 순수한 차원에서 시민운동을 조직하였다고도 볼 수 있으나, NGO 단체 역시 정부의 지원을 받아 운영되는 경우가 대부분이기 때문에 정치색이 배제된 순수한 민간단체라고 보기는 어렵다. 따라서 특정한 목적을 가지고 접근하였을 때, 시민단체가 가지는 본연의 목적을 유지하기가 힘들어진다. 장미혁명이나 오렌지혁명, 레몬혁명에서 활동하였던 시민단체들은 모두 서방의 지원을 받는 NGO 단체들이었다. 색깔혁명에서 미국을 비롯한 서방세력과 러시아의 헤게모니 쟁탈전이 직접적으로 발생했다기보다는 색깔혁명을 통해 주변 강대국들의 패권경쟁이 가시화되었다고 보는 것이 더욱 타당할 것이다. 미국이 주도하는 세계질서가 강화되어 포스트 소비에트 공간에서 러시아의 국가이익이 침해받거나, 과거 앞마당이었던 이 지역에서 러시아의 입지가 약화될 경우, 지역패권을 둘러싼 미국 및 서방세력과 러시아의 갈등은 지속될 것이며, 러시아는 서방세계를 견제할 수 있는 SCO, CSTO, EurAsEC과 같은 역내 다자간 협력기구를 통해 중국, 인도 등 주변의 강대국들과 전략적 협력을 추진할 것이다.

Possibility of value elevation or cost reduction must choose member that is effectively for active and effective application of VE technique. In this study, when enforce design VE examining for weight decision corrosion protection been using in weight grant composition estimation technique, target choice process wishes to suggest formality and method that can be achieved effectively Main conclusion of this study sorts valuation items step by step for weight appropriation of valuation basis and give point on article of high position point after expert which employer is included estimates article by low rank step and this presented high position method that do union item by item and establishes by item weight. Did these techniques for giving weights so that importance for weight appropriation developed estimation program, and data save of target estimation standard and target estimation standard is possible using straight sit.

입원노인과 재가노인의 수면양상, 수면만족도 및 수면증진행위 비교연구 (Comparative Study on the Sleep Patterns, Satisfaction of Sleep, and Sleep Enhancement Behaviors between Hospitalized and Non-hospitalized Elderly)

  • Purpose: This study was to compare and analyze sleep patterns, satisfaction of sleep, and sleep enhancement behaviors between hospitalized and non-hospitalized elderly. Methods: Subjects were 201 older adults, who were hospitalized patients or living in U-city, Gyung-gi province. Data was collected from June 10 to August 25, 2007, and was analyzed by the SAS program. Results: 1) Non-hospitalized elderly had better sleep patterns than hospitalized elderly patients. 2) There was a strong positive correlation between sleep patterns and satisfaction of sleep in both groups. 3) In hospitalized elderly, there were significant differences in sleep patterns and satisfaction of sleep by month. 4) In non-hospitalized elderly, there was a significant difference in sleep patterns by presence or absence of spouses. There was a significant difference in satisfaction of sleep by those living with others. There were significant differences in sleep enhancement behaviors by age, religion, length of time, and sponsors. Conclusion: To relieve sleep disturbances of elderly, comprehension of sleep of the aged by nursing care givers should be obtained. Also, improving environments and elder's self-esteem with religious consideration and preparation of financial conditions are needed to promote the sleep of hospitalized and non-hospitalized elderly.

ADVANCED TEST REACTOR TESTING EXPERIENCE - PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE

  • The Advanced Test Reactor (ATR), at the Idaho National Laboratory (INL), is one of the world's premier test reactors for providing the capability for studying the effects of intense neutron and gamma radiation on reactor materials and fuels. The physical configuration of the ATR, a 4-leaf clover shape, allows the reactor to be operated at different power levels in the comer 'lobes' to allow for different testing conditions for multiple simultaneous experiments. The combination of high flux (maximum thermal neutron fluxes of 1E15 neutrons per square centimeter per second and maximum fast [E>1.0 MeV] neutron fluxes of 5E14 neutrons per square centimeter per second) and large test volumes (up to 122 cm long and 12.7 cm diameter) provide unique testing opportunities. The current experiments in the ATR are for a variety of test sponsors - US government, foreign governments, private researchers, and commercial companies needing neutron irradiation services. There are three basic types of test configurations in the ATR. The simplest configuration is the sealed static capsule, which places the capsule in direct contact with the primary coolant. The next level of experiment complexity is an instrumented lead experiment, which allows for active control of experiment conditions during the irradiation. The most complex experiment is the pressurized water loop, in which the test sample can be subjected to the exact environment of a pressurized water reactor. For future research, some ATR modifications and enhancements are currently planned. This paper provides more details on some of the ATR capabilities, key design features, experiments, and future plans.

An Analysis of the Strengths and Weaknesses of Seoul Fashion Week with a Focus on Organisational Issues

  • Seoul Fashion Week aims to be the world’s fifth Fashion Week from the year after 2000. This has involved significant labour and investment, not all of which has been successful. This study analyses the strengths and weaknesses of SFW based on the London Fashion Week as a successful model. By identifying its obvious and less obvious characteristics, this analysis aims to diagnose SFW’s current status in order to upgrade the event at an international level. Key factors are organisational body, designers, visitors, sponsors, schedule, venue, main events and supportive events. The following points have emerged from the research: the success of Seoul Fashion Week was based on the combination of separate collections, an appropriate fashion show venue, and the active role of new designers. The problems were: lack of an independent organisation, non-professional staff, lack of diverse visitors, exclusive governmental funding, late timing, excessive distance from the main European and American fashion markets, lack of sustainability of the main events, a limited variety of supportive events, the absence of online promotion and, last but not least, no distinctive features. The study concludes that Seoul Fashion Week has great potential with its fast growth and young designers. This should be complemented with an independent organisation and effective administration and strategy.

On the Development of Lofts for Doubly Curved Sheet Metal Components

  • Practical automated flat pattern generation with inbuilt production features for doubly curved sheet metal components (SMCs) is addressed here utilizing a new and unique Point Transformation Algorithm (PTA). This is the third in the series of papers on practical Flat Pattern Development (FPD) [8] and Production Loft Generation Systems (PLGS) [9] complementing the pioneering work [6,7]. In the first two publications, automated loft generation programs have addressed sheet metal components having a Principal Flat Surface (PFS) only. The flat pattern development of 3-D components that do not have the flat surface(termed as Non-PFS components) having complex features of double curvature in addition to cutouts and nibbled holes typical of aircraft components were so far not addressed due to lack of relevant published algorithms. This paper traces the evolution of developments and provides the record of fully illustrated, automated loft generation scheme for aircraft SMCs including the Non-PFS components which underwent validation through production tests by sponsors. Details of some of the unique features of the system like simplified surface model generation, termed as topological model and powerful algorithms deployed with potential for CAD/CAM applications are included.

  • 본 논문에서는 SWATH선의 횡 구조물에 신뢰성 해석법을 적용하였다. cross-structure와 strut의 윗부분에 있는 판부재를 선정하여 그 압축 최종강도에 대한 신뢰성해석을 수행하였고, 또한 cross-structure와 strut, sponson과 strut의 연결부에 대한 피로 신뢰성해석을 수행하였다. 피로손상의 허용수준의 설정에 대한 일례를 보여주었으며, 최종강도와 피로강도를 동시에 고려한 일종의 series system에 대한 신뢰성해석을 포함하였다. 이는 구조의 안전성 평가시 보다 정확한 결과를 얻을 수 있다는 점에서 바람직하다고 하겠다.

A Comparative Study between Islamic and Conventional Exchange-Traded Funds: Evidence from Global Market Indices

  • This study investigates whether the Islamic Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) provide significant benefit to investors relative to conventional ETFs. Six pairs of Islamic and conventional ETFs with 10-year daily price data from 2010 to 2019 have been selected from major market indices like MSCI World Index, MSCI Emerging Markets, MyETF Dow Jones Islamic Market Malaysia, MSCI South East Asia and Wahed FTSE Shariah USA Index for this study. For ETFs that are launched after 2010, the price data from launch date to 2019 are used. Our results show: First, Islamic ETFs are more likely to trade at a premium rather than at a discount, implying the investors are willing to pay a premium. Second, it is also found that Islamic ETFs have a relatively shorter period of price deviation from the benchmark, implying more price stability. Third, conventional ETFs have higher return and lower tracking errors relative to Islamic ETFs. These new findings add to the stylized facts of Islamic ETFs in the extant literature for investors, plan sponsors and regulators as to the differences between the ETFs. As policy suggestion, asset management companies can design new investment products to bridge the gap between conventional and Islamic finance.

  • Project Financing (PF) is the long-term financing of infrastructure and industrial projects based upon the projected cash flows of the project rather than the balance sheets of its sponsors. However, the financial institution, the subject of financing in the case of PF in Korea, the lack of validation system of business, rather than to assess the feasibility of the project, requested a credit reinforcement to the construction company, the fact is Construction Company on loans of the employer is the guarantor or debt argument commitments accordingly. As a result, PF contingent liabilities, which are indirect debt, are triggered in the construction company, not included in the financial statements, along with the disclosure standards established according to 2009 PF contingent liabilities, and major can be a management item. In this study, PF contingent liabilities is of Pearson of the index and the PF debt ratio showing the main financial ratios and risk by classifying the credit rating and contractors Ranking of construction companies in order to analyze the impact on the financial condition of the company was performed correlation analyzes, through the Pearson correlation coefficient analysis indicated quantitative or negative relationship to derive the explicit indication.
