  • 전동기를 설계 시 자기등가회로법은 전동기의 세부 형상에 크게 구애를 받지 않기 때문에, 공간고조파법과 수치해석기법에 비해 유용하다. 이 논문에서는 Spoke type PMSM(Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor)의 회전자 자기등가회로를 설계하였다. 회전자 자기등가회로를 통해, 마그네틱 토크 성분을 구성하는 공극자속밀도 수식을 이끌어 낼 수 있다. 이를 통해, Spoke type PMSM은 마그네틱 토크가 주 토크이기 때문에, 공극 자속밀도 및 형상치수비를 이용하여 전동기의 크기를 계산하였다.

  • In this paper, the magnetic circuit characteristics and the current/torque analysis of a Spoke Type permanent magnet motor have been researched, compared with the SPM Type motor. In the magnetic circuit analysis, the characteristic of air-gap flux density has been analyzed according to the variation of the number of pole and the ratio of magnet height to arc length using finite element method and circuit equations. Moreover, the electromagnetic and the reluctance torque have been analyzed by the current profile, which is obtained from the variation of turn-on angle, and these informative data has been utilized for the overall characteristics of the Spoke Type BLDC motor.

  • By reason of variation magnetic field, cogging torque is generated. Cogging torque of Spoke type motor is bigger than other type permanent magnet motor. So, this paper presents a design notch on stator and variation rotor shape to reduce cogging torque of Spoke Type motor. Through Fourier formulation of magnetic field on air gap, we found position of notch. The validity of the proposed design is confirmed with FEM analysis method.

  • This paper deals with a design to improve operating characteristic of spoke type BLDC motor. The rotor and stator is redesigned as rounding teeth of stator and pole surface of rotor. Result, cogging torque is reduced greatly. The Finite Element Analysis(FEM) is used to characteristics. The Prototype has been manufacturing to confirmed the validity of the proposed technique.

  • Spoke type 영구자석 전동기는 자속이 집중되어 높은 공극자속밀도를 가지는 이점이 있으나 코깅토크가 비교적 크다는 단점이 있다. 소음 진동의 원인이 되는 코깅 토크를 저감하기 위해 모델1, 모델 2를 통해 회전자의 형상을 변화시키는 일반화 계수를 찾고 이를 모델3에 적용시켜 확인하고자 한다.

  • Spoke type의 전동기는 자속이 집중되어 높은 공극자속밀도를 가진다. 뿐만 아니라 spoke type 전동기는 자석의 감자가 다른 타입의 전동기들보다 쉽게 발생한다는 단점이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에는 자석감자를 고려한 형상설계를 두 개의 설계변수를 이용하여 진행하고, 이 설계변수들에 따른 감자특성을 해석하고자한다.

  • An optimal design procedure is proposed to effectively reduce the torque ripple by optimizing the rotor pole shape of the spoke type IPMSM with concentrated winding. The procedure is composed of two steps. In step I, the steepest descent method (SDM) is used with only two design variables to rapidly approach the optimal shape. From the near optimal rotor shape as a result of the step I, the design variables are reselected and the drawing spline curves are utilized to explain more complex shape with the Kriging model in step II. By using an optimal design procedure, we show that the optimized rotor pole shape of the spoke type IPMSM effectively reduces the torque ripple while still maintaining the average torque.

  • This study proposes criteria for both optimal-shape and magnetizer-system designs to be used for a high-output spoke-type motor. The study also examines methods of reducing high-cogging torque and torque ripple, to prevent noise and vibration. The optimal design of the stator and rotor can be enhanced using both a response surface method and finite element method. In addition, a magnetizer system is optimally designed for the magnetization of permanent magnets for use in the motor. Finally, this study verifies that the proposed motor can efficiently replace interior permanent magnet synchronous motor in many industries.

  • This paper presents a design strategy of SPOKE type BLDC motors considering an irreversible demagnetization of a permanent magnet (PM). So the irreversible demagnetization characteristic of the motor is analyzed by rotor structure. The instantaneous currents in either starting or lock rotor condition, which are calculated from the current dynamic analysis, are applied to the analysis of the irreversible demagnetization field by FEM. In irreversible demagnetization analysis by FEM, the variation of residual flux density in PM is analyzed using the non-linearity of magnetic core on B-H plan. The analysis results are compared to several rotor structures and used for optimize the rotor structure.
