호위축병저항성 다수성 맥주보리 "오름" (A New High-Yielding Malting Barley Cultivar "Oreum" with High Yielding and BaYMV Resistance)

  • "오름"은 맥주보리 고품질 내재해성 신품종을 개발하기 위하여 1997년에 작물과학원 에서 보리 호위축병 저항성인 'Kinuyudaka'를 모본으로 하고 단간이며 내도복성인 '삼도보리'를 부본으로 인공교배하여 육성한 품종으로, 2006년 12월에 농촌진흥청 농작물 직무육성 신품종 선정 위원회에서 "오름"이라 명명하여 국가품종목록에 신품종으로 등록하였으며 그 특성은 다음과 같았다. "오름"은 2조형 맥주보리로서 출수기와 성숙기가 빠른 중생종이고 간장은 75 cm이고 내도복성이 강하여 기계화 수확에 적당하다. "오름"의 호위축병 저항성은 진주, 나주, 밀양에서는 저항성이며 익산에서는 중도 저항성을 나타내었다. "오름"의 수량성은 제주에서는 ha당 5.43톤으로 진양보리 대비 80% 증수하였고 밀양, 진주, 나주의 3개 지역 답리작 평균에서는 ha당 4.70으로 진양보리 대비 22% 증수한 다수성이었다. "오름"의 품질은 단백질 함량이 낮고 발아세와 맥즙 추출률이 높고 여과시간이 짧았으나 콜박지수와 효소 역가는 '진양보리'와 비슷하였다.

수중글라이더를 활용한 동해 아중규모 중층성 소용돌이 발견 (First Observational Finding of Submesoscale Intrathermocline Eddy in the East Sea using Underwater Glider)

  • 2017년 8월 7일부터 25일까지 수중글라이더를 활용하여 $37.9^{\circ}N$ 위도 라인를 따라 동경 $129.0^{\circ}E{\sim}131.3^{\circ}E$ 사이를 왕복하는 단면 관측을 수행하였다. 해당 경로는 국립수산과학원 정기선박 관측라인 중 106 라인을 따른 것으로 이 경로를 따라 약 18일간 운용하였으며 위치 유지 모드로 동작했던 시간을 제외하고 총 440 km를 비행하였고, 그동안 고해상도 수온 및 염분의 공간 단면을 관측하였다. 본 관측 해역은 약 0.8 m/s의 강한 유속을 갖는 동한난류가 북상하고 있는 상황이었음에도 불구하고, 해당 수중글라이더는 지정된 경로에서부터 RMS 거리 400 m 이내를 벗어나지 않고 정확하게 106 라인을 따라 비행하였다. 본 관측에서 얻어진 고해상도 물성 단면 구조를 국립수산과학원 정선 관측 자료와 비교함으로써 해양환경에 지대한 영향을 끼치는 전선역이나 소용돌이와 같은 현상을 관측하기 위해서 고해상도 관측이 얼마나 중요한지 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 수중글라이더 관측을 통해 이제까지 발견하지 못했던 새로운 소용돌이를 발견할 수 있었다. 이 소용돌이는 수평폭이 10~13 km, 수직폭은 200 m 가량되는 렌즈 형태를 가지고 있으며 시계방향으로 회전하는 아중규모 중층성 소용돌이(submesoscale intrathermocline eddy)다. 수온약층 내 혹은 직하부에 존재하면서 아중규모의 렌즈형태의 구조를 갖는 이러한 중층성 소용돌이는 동해에서 처음 발견되었기 때문에 Korea intrathermocline eddy(Keddy)로 명명하였다. 이 Keddy는 다음과 같은 전형적인 중층성 소용돌이(intrathermocline eddy)의 특징을 가지고 있다. Keddy는 수온약층 하부인 수심 약 170 m, 즉 중층에서 유속최대값을 갖는 특징이 있고, 따라서 해표면에는 해당 지오포텐셜 구조가 드러나지 않는 2차 순압성 구조를 가지고 있다. 또한 중앙부의 성층화가 주변보다 약하고, 수평크기가 1차 순압성 로스비 변형반경과 유사하며, 로스비 수가 0.7로 1에 근접한다.

종합병원 디지털 정보안내사인의 효과적 정보전달을 위한 연구 (A Study on Effective Information Delivery of Digital Sign Systems in General Hospitals)

  • 본 연구는 현재 종합병원 대기공간에서 사용 중인 안내사인의 시각요소(레이아웃, 서체, 컬러)와 디지털 안내사인의 요소(시간, 영상타임라인)에 대해 최근 5년 내에 디지털 안내사인을 설치한 병원을 선정하여 현황조사 및 사용자 선호도 조사, 현장 실험을 실시하였다. 현장조사 결과 색채의 경우 서로 상반되는 배경과 서체의 색을 이용하여 명시성을 높여 내용을 잘 파악할 수 있도록 제작하였으며, 서체는 상대적으로 가독성이 뛰어난 고딕서체를 사용하고 있었다. 또한 디지털 안내사인의 특징이라고 할 수 있는 시간과 영상 타임라인에서는 진료안내 혹은 병원 광고화면과 진료안내를 일정한 간격으로 보여주고 있었다. 사용자 만족도 조사 결과 대부분의 사용자들이 디지털 안내사인을 경험한 적이 많았으나, 안내사인의 회전 속도가 빠르거나 글자의 크기가 작아 안내사인에서 제공하는 내용을 파악하기 어렵다는 의견이 과반수를 넘었다. 하지만 사용자들은 디지털 안내사인에서 가장 많이 찾는 정보로는 진료과를 들었으며, 가장 중요하게 생각하는 정보 또한 진료과에 대한 응답이 가장 높게 나타났다. 이를 바탕으로 진행한 실험은 현재 사용되고 있는 디지털 안내사인의 디자인은 그대로 유지하면서 내용을 재구성한 새로운 샘플을 만들어 2~50대의 사용자를 대상으로 실시하였다. 모든 연령대에서 조건이 같고 서체크기가 클 경우, 찾고자 하는 정보를 약 3.5초 정도 빨리 찾을 수 있었다. 또한 사용자 연령에 따른 샘플 별 차이를 봤을 때 2-30대와 4-50대는 별로 서체크기가 작은 샘플에서 4.7초, 큰 서체 샘플에서는 6초의 시간차를 보여, 서체크기에 관계없이 모든 경우에 연령대별 화면 회전에 대한 실험 시간에 따른 격차가 매우 큰 것으로 나타났다.

세계 무인항공기 운용 관련 규제 분석과 시사점 - ICAO, 미국, 독일, 호주를 중심으로 - (Analysis and Implication on the International Regulations related to Unmanned Aircraft -with emphasis on ICAO, U.S.A., Germany, Australia-)

  • 무인항공기 규제 법률은 ICAO의 경우 1944년 '시카고협약'을 기준으로 'RPAS manual(2015)'에 상세하게 규정하고 있으며, 미국의 경우 '연방항공규칙 (14CFR), Public Law (112-95)', 독일의 경우 EASA의 Regulation (EC) No.216/2008을 기본으로 150kg 미만의 무인항공기의 경우 항공운송법, 항공운송명령, 항공운송허가명령 (무인항공기 운영규칙에 관한 법률에 의한 개정), 호주의 경우 '민간항공법 (CAA 1998), 민간항공규칙 101장 (CASR Part 101)'로 정하고 있다. 공통적으로 이러한 법률들이 규제하는 대상에 여가선용 목적의 모형항공기는 제외하고 있으며, 반드시 무인항공기를 통제할 수 있는 조종자를 두어야 하는데, 이때 조종자란 항공 기내가 아닌 지상에서의 조종과 통제를 하는 사람을 의미한다. 또한 무인항공시스템이라는 구조 하에서 조종자는 물론이고 무인항공기를 운용에 필요한 모든 관리 즉, 법률의 규정이 정하는 범위 안에서 안전하고 효율적으로 시스템을 운용하기 위한 모든 관리를 포함하는 것을 의미한다. 구체적 운용방식에 관하여는 각 나라는 25kg 이하의 항공기로 분류하여 규정하고, 호주와 독일은 그 이하의 중량에서 다시 세분화하여 규정하고 있다. ICAO는 시카고협약 제6부속서에 따라 상업적운용을 포함하여 일체의 일반항공 운용을 규정하고 있으며 RPAS 운용의 경우에도 적용된다. 다만, RPA를 이용한 여객운송은 제외하고 있다. RPA의 운용범위가 타국의 영공을 포함하는 경우 비행일 7일 이전에 해당 국가의 특별허가를 요건으로 하며, 이때 비행계획서를 함께 제출하여야 한다. 미국은 연방항공규칙 107장에 따라, 비레저용 소형무인기는 책임조종자 또는 관찰자의 시야 범위 내에서 (주간에만) 지표 또는 수면으로부터 122m(400피트)까지, 시속 161km (87노트) 이내로 운용 가능하다. 소형무인기는 다른 항공기에 경로를 양보해야 하고, 위험물질을 수송하거나 1인이 동시에 2대 이상의 무인기를 운용하는 것은 금지된다. 독일의 경우 무인항공기 운영규칙에 관한 법률에 따라 무인항공시스템과 무인모형항공기에 관한 규정(여가선용 용도 제외)은 공중충돌 방지의무와 더불어 지상의 안전 및 개인의 사생활 보호도 함께 고려되어 2017년 3월 제정되었다. 5kg 이하의 상업용 무인항공기는 종전의 규제규정을 완화하여 더 이상 허가를 요건으로 하지 않지만, 중량에 상관없이 모든 무인항공기는 지속적인 감시자와 조종자의 통제 범위 내에서 100m이하의 높이에서만 자유롭게 운용되어질 수 있다. 호주는 2001년 무인항공기를 규제한 첫 국가로 ICAO 및 FAA, EASA 등의 무인항공기 관련법제에 영향을 주었다. 2016년 개정을 통하여 저위험도로 고려되는 무인항공기의 운용에 대하여 활용성을 증대시키고자 '배제 무인항공기'라는 항목을 추가하여 규제조건을 완화시켰으며, 이에 해당하는 경우 상업적 목적이라 할지라도 특별한 허가 없이 운용할 수 있도록 하였다. 나아가 현재 규제의 유연성을 위하여 새로운 표준 매뉴얼에 대하여 논의 중이다.

쇼핑 웹사이트 탐색 유형과 방문 패턴 분석 (Analysis of shopping website visit types and shopping pattern)

  • 온라인 소비자는 쇼핑 웹사이트에서 특정 제품군이나 브랜드에 속한 제품들을 둘러보고 구매를 진행할 수 있고, 혹은 단순히 넓은 범위의 탐색 반경을 보이며 여러 페이지들을 돌아보다 구매를 진행하지 않고 이탈할 수 있다. 이러한 온라인 소비자의 행동과 구매에 관련된 연구는 꾸준히 진행되어왔으며, 실무에서도 소비자들의 행동 데이터를 바탕으로 한 서비스 및 어플리케이션이 개발되고 있다. 최근에는 빅데이터 기술의 발달로 소비자 개인 단위의 맞춤화 전략 및 추천 시스템이 활용되고 있으며 사용자의 쇼핑 경험을 최적화하기 위한 시도가 진행되고 있다. 하지만 이와 같은 시도에도 온라인 소비자가 실제로 웹사이트를 방문해 제품 구매 단계까지 전환될 확률은 매우 낮은 실정이다. 이는 온라인 소비자들이 단지 제품 구매를 위해 웹사이트를 방문하는 것이 아니라 그들의 쇼핑 동기 및 목적에 따라 웹사이트를 다르게 활용하고 탐색하기 때문이다. 따라서 단지 구매가 진행되는 방문 외에도 다양한 방문 형태를 분석하는 것은 온라인 소비자들의 행동을 이해하는데 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 이러한 관점에서 본 연구에서는 온라인 소비자의 탐색 행동의 다양성과 복잡성을 설명하기 위해 실제 E-commerce 기업의 클릭스트림 데이터를 기반으로 세션 단위의 클러스터링 분석을 진행해 탐색 행동을 유형화하였다. 이를 통해 각 유형별로 상세 단위의 탐색 행동과 구매 여부가 차이가 있음을 확인하였다. 또한 소비자 개인이 여러 방문에 걸친 일련의 탐색 유형에 대한 패턴을 분석하기 위해 순차 패턴 마이닝 기법을 활용하였으며, 같은 기간 내에 제품 구매까지 완료한 소비자와 구매를 진행하지 않은 채 방문만 진행한 소비자들의 탐색패턴에 대한 차이를 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구의 시사점은 대규모의 클릭스트림 데이터를 활용해 온라인 소비자의 탐색 유형을 분석하고 이에 대한 패턴을 분석해 구매 과정 상의 행동을 데이터 기반으로 설명하였다는 점에 있다. 또한 온라인 소매 기업은 다양한 형태의 탐색 유형에 맞는 마케팅 전략 및 추천을 통해 구매 전환 개선을 시도할 수 있으며, 소비자의 탐색 패턴의 변화를 통해 전략의 효과를 평가할 수 있을 것이다.

  • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70$\pm$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32$\pm$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CF 15-11 HFDs which failed APD test did not show changes in the UFR compared to normal dialyzers indicating that APD is a more sensitive test than UFR test to evaluate the integrity of the fibers. 30527 T00401030527 ^x For quantitative measurement of reflected light from a clinical diagnostic strip, a prototype old reflectance photometer was designed. The strip loader and cassette were made to obtain more accurate reflectance parameters. The strip was illuminated at 45˚c through optical fiber and the intensity of reflected light was determined at rectanguLat angle using a photodiode. The kubelka-munk coefficient and reflection optical density were determined ar four different wavelengths(500, 550, 570 and 610nm) for blood glucose strip. For higher concentration than 300mg/41 about glucose, a saturation state of abforbance was observed at 500, 550 and 570nm. The mice were divided into two groups. One group was injected with Photofrin II, intravenously (2.5mg/kg body weight). The other group received no Photofrin II. Mice from both groups were irradialed for approximately 15 minutes at 100, 300, or 500 mW/cm2 with the argon (488nm/514.5 nm), dye(628nm) and gold vapor (pulsed 628 nm) laser light. A photosensitizer behaved as an added absorber. Under our experimental conditions, the presence of Photolfrin II increased surface temperature by at least 40% and the temperature rise due to 300 mW/cm2 irradiation exceeded values for hyperthermia. Light and temperature distributions with depth were estimated by a computer model. The model demonstrated the influence of wavelength on the thermal process and proved to be a valuable tool to investigate internal temperature rise. 30536 T00401030536 ^x We investigated the structural geometry of thirty-eight Korean femurs. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. The results suggested that the femoral component suitable for Asians should be different from the currently-used components designed and manufactured mostly by European or American companies. 30537 T00401030537 ^x It is well known that nonlinear propagation characteristics of the wave in the tissue may give very useful information for the medical diagnoisis. In this paper, a new method to detect nonlinear propagation characteristics of the internal vibration in the tissue for the low frequency mechanical vibration by using bispectral analysis is proposed. In the method, low frequency vibration of f0( = 100Hz) is applied on the surface of the object, and the waveform of the internal vibration x (t) is measured from Doppler frequency modulation of silmultaneously transmitted probing ultrasonic waves. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Basic experimental system is constructed by using 3.0 MHz probing ultrasonic waves and the several experiments are carried out for some phantoms. Our department has developed an information system for routine hematology using down-sized computer system. We have used an IBM 486 compatible PC with 16MB main memory, 210 MB hard disk drive, 9 RS-232C port and 24 pin dot printer. The operating system and database management system were SCO UNIX and SCO foxbase, respectively. For program development, we used Xbase language provided by SCO foxbase. The C language was used for interface purpose. To make the system use friendly, pull-down menu was used. The system connected to our hospital information system via application program interface (API), so the information related to patient and request details is automatically transmitted to our computer. Our system interfaced with fwd complete blood count analyzers(Sysmex NE-8000 and Coulter STKS) for unidirectional data tansmission from analyzer to computer. The authors suggests that this system based on down-sized computer could provide a progressive approach to total LIS based on local area network, and the implemented system could serve as a model for other hospital's LIS for routine hematology. 30609 T00401030609 ^x To develop an artificial bone substitute that is gradually degraded and replaced by the regenerated natural bone, the authors designed a composite that is consisted of calcium phosphate and collagen. To use as the structural matrix of the composite, collagen was purified from human umbilical cord. The obtained collagen was treated by pepsin to remove telopeptides, and finally, the immune-free atelocollagen was produced: The cross linked atelocollagen was highly resistant to the collagenase induced collagenolysis. We propose a simple adaptive algorithm to increase capability of noise cancelation in QRS complex detection with two stage adaptive filter. At the first stage, background noise is removed and at the next stage, only spectrum of QRS complex components is passed. Two adaptive filters can afford to keep track of the changes of both noise and QRS complex. Each adaptive filter consists of prediction error filter and FIR filter The impulse response of FIR filter uses coefficients of prediction error filter.   • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70${\pm}$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32${\pm}$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. The C language was used for interface purpose. To make the system use friendly, pull-down menu was used. The system connected to our hospital information system via application program interface (API), so the information related to patient and request details is automatically transmitted to our computer. Our system interfaced with fwd complete blood count analyzers(Sysmex NE-8000 and Coulter STKS) for unidirectional data tansmission from analyzer to computer.
