FMRAS에 보상기를 이용한 유도전동기 속도제어 (Speed Control of Induction Motor Using Flux Compensation In Model Reference Adaptive System)

  • When the vector control, which does not need a speed? signal from a mechanical speed sensor, it is possible to reduce the cost of the control equipment and to improve the control performance in many industrial application. This paper describes a rotor speed identification method of induction motor based on the theory of flux model reference adaptive system. The estimator execute the rotor speed identification so that the vector control of the induction motor may be achieved. The improved auxiliary variable of the two model are introduced to perform accurate rotor speed estimation. Simulation result show the validity of the proposed control method.

  • When the vector control, which does not need a speed signal from a mechanical speed sensor, it is possible to reduce the cost of the control equipment and to improve the control performance in many industrial application. This paper describes a rotor speed identification method of induction motor based on the theory of Model Reference Adaptive System(MRAS). The identifier execute the rotor speed identification so that the vector control of the induc-tion motor may be achieved.   • The next generation domestic high speed railway system is a power distributed type and uses vector control method for motor speed control. Nowadays, inverter driven induction motor system is widely used. However, recently PMSM drives are deeply considered as a alternative candidate instead of an induction motor drive system due to their advantages in efficiency, noise reduction and maintenance. The next-generation high speed train is composed of 2 converter units, 4 inverter units, and 4 Traction Motor units. Each motor is connected to the inverter directly. In this paper, the effect of IPMSM parameter variations to the system operation characteristics of the multi inverter drive high speed train system are investigated. The parallel connected inverter input-output characteristics are analyzed to the parameter mismatches of IPMSM using the 1C1M control simulator based on Matlab/Simulink.

  • Since the braking system of rolling stock is directly linked to it's safety, ensuring reliability of braking system and evaluation of performance of it are very important. To develope the performance of braking system, it is required advanced technology and gradually various factors in the field test result. This study is designed to analyze the air pressure control about braking force in rolling stock, also, by comparing braking force of high speed railway with that of high speed train. This paper suggests to establish a method of computation of braking force form the air pressure control. And The high speed train researches into patterns of braking system such as the train of speed up and introduction of electric and pneumatic braking system.

  • 열차 속도 제어는 운영 트랙에서 안전 운동을 구축하기 위한 열차 보호의 중요한 일부분이다. 경사진 면적과 같은 열차를 보호하는 데 필요한 트랙의 특수한 조건이 있다. 더욱이 반달리즘 문제를 가진 개도국에서 특수한 조건은 트랙 사이드의 장비를 최소화하기 위한 설치가 요구된다. 더욱이 열대 국가에서 트랙 사이드는 수질에서 트랙 사이드 장비의 성능에 영향을 줄 것으로 보인다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 적외선 시스템을 이용하여 경사진 면적에 대하여 열차 속도 제어를 제안한다. 전주 배열의 설치에 의해 이 시스템은 보다 적은 도전, 경제적인 민감성, 트랙 사이드의 장비의 최소 설치와 강우 환경에서 신뢰성을 제공한다. 본 논문은 경사진 면적에서 성능 평가를 측정하고 열차 속도를 제어하는데 중점을 준다. 제안한 열차 속도 제어 시스템은 시간 당 약 20km의 제어속도와 최대 3.6%의 경사진 면적에서 속도 제어와 감시가 가능하다.

  • This paper describes the calculation and application of the speed profile for the train speed control when the train is operated by ATO(Automatic Train Operation). We propose a speed profile calculation method considering the speed limitation and the jerk limitation, in order to maintain the quality of the train automatic operation. In previous works, ATO calculates a desired speed profile along the time, and controls the train to follow the profile. In this case, it may be hard to follow the restrictive speed along the location or to stop the train with a low location error, because of the difference between the desired location at each time and the real location of the train due to the control error. In the proposed method in this paper, we calculate a desired speed profile along the time considering the speed and jerk limitation first, and derive a speed profile along the location using it. If the restrictive speed profile is changed or the train speed strayed from the speed profile, ATO system calculates new speed profile and applies it immediately. Because ATO system controls the train speed based on the train location, the accuracy of the train location control can be improved. A simulation system for the test of the automatic train operation using this method is designed.

자기부상열차용 추진제어장치의 새로운 제어기법 (New control strategy of propulsion system for the Transit Maglev System)

  • The traction drive system for the urban transit maglev system is described in this paper. To control the magnitude and frequency of the output voltage of induction motor transiently, the vector control strategy is generally used. But in case of the traction drive system for the railway vehicle, it is difficult to use the vector control caused by the one-pulse mode in the high speed region. Therefore, this paper proposes the control strategy combined the vector control in the low speed region and the slip frequency control in the high speed region. And also, the overmodulation PWM method is discussed to make the change to the one-pulse mode softly. The performance of the proposed traction drive system is verified by the MATLAB simulation results.

An integrator based wind speed estimator for wind turbine control

  • In this paper, an integrator based method to estimate the effective wind speed in wind turbine systems is proposed. First, the aerodynamic torque was accurately estimated through a proportional gain based observer where the generator speed is the measured output of the system. The torque signal contains not only useful frequencies of the wind, but also high frequencies and the ones due to structural vibration. The useful information of the wind signal is low frequency. A spectral analysis permitted the determination of the useful frequencies. The high frequencies were then filtered before introducing the torque signal in the wind speed observer. The desired effective wind speed was extracted through an integrator based observer using the previously estimated aerodynamic torque. The strength of the method is to avoid numerical solutions used in literature of the wind speed estimation. The effectiveness of the proposed wind speed estimator and its use to control the generator speed has been tested under turbulent situations using the FAST software (Fatigue, Aerodynamics, Structures, and Turbulence), for large scale Megawatt turbine.

고속이송계의 열변형오차 자동보정에 관한 연구 (A Study on Automatic Compensation of Thermal Deformation Error for High Speed Feeding System)

  • In the recent years, development of machine tool with high speed feeding system have brought a rapid increase in productivity. Practically, thermal deformation problem due to high speed is, however, become a large obstacle to realize high precision machining. In this study, therefore, the construction of automatic error compensation system to control thermal deformation in high speed feeding system with real time is proposed. To attain this purpose, high speed feeding system with feeding speed 60mm/min is developed and experimental equation for relationship between thermal deformation and temperature of ball screw shaft using multiple regression analysis is established. Furthermore, in order to analyze thermal deformation error, compensation coefficient is determined and thermal deformation experiments is carried out. From obtained results, it is confirmed that automatic error compensation system constructed in this study is able to control thermal deformation error within $15{\sim}20{\mu}m$.

Practical Control Scheme of the Variable Speed Refrigeration System

  • With the improvement of standard of manufacturing process, oil cooling unit for manufacturing machine has been developed. A control system must be designed in order to keep oil temperature of the machine within a very restricted range and also to reduce energy consumption. In order to get the low deviation of the controlled temperature and the low efficiency, the on/off control scheme is gradually being replaced by a variable speed refrigeration system (VSRS) with an inverter driven compressor over recent decades. This paper gives the flowchart to control the compressor speed and also the electronic expansion valve (EEV) aperture in oil cooling unit refrigeration system using R22 as the refrigerant. This control scheme has already tested in experiment apparatus with room temperature condition constant at $25^{\circ}C$ and variable load condition at 4kW, 6kW, 7kW, 8kW and 10kW.
