A Study on Character Make-up Based on Impressiology (인상학에 근거한 성격분장에 관한 연구)

  • This study is focusing on typicalized character make-up of TV Drama characters. The purpose of this study is to analyze the interconnections of its images and impressiology concretely, and then reflect on an application approach of impressiology. The aim of make-up lies in not only helping actors to visualize their own external qualities, appropriate the quality of a play, but also audience and spectators to be immersed in the concrete fact of i character person. Impressiology will be a data to give the understanding and sympathy of make-up work. I would like to utilize character make-up based on impressiology for creative and effective make-up techniques, and make it a typicalized character. Also I will examine the horizon of a new make-up technique through character development according to the demandes of the times. As a result of this study, we find that expression method of characteristic character generalized representatively is the common quality of impressiologistc image. Also we see that such a impressioiogistic image is useful for the fundamental basis of character expression method.

  • A museum represents a country's history, culture and life. With the development of science and technology, museum is no longer simply a space that concentrates on display and management of the collection but a space for education that visitors can directly experience and feel interest. The purpose of the present study is firstly through theoretical approach and research to grasp the status quo of the exhibition of the National First Level museums located in Beijing, which is the capital city of the People's Republic of China. Secondly, by analyzing the themes of exhibition and the exhibition presentation methods, it is aimed at finding out the problems of the status of museums in China so as to seek the requirements and the direction of improvements. Through this research, it is confirmed that in order to induce more active exhibition participation, the museums should expand the number of direct experience style exhibition presentation methods. Also, the museums in China need technical introduction of new cutting-edge exhibition medium so as to meet emotional demands of spectators and make the most ideal experience environment. Furthermore, it is confirmed that the development of new exhibition themes and the improvement of the museums in aspect of management and operation are necessary.

  • Placing itself in position of spectators, museum should be able to explain to them what meaning the medium of exhibi-tion has and what role it has to paly. For that, it is an indispensable process to plan an archite-ctural environment and exhibition presentation suitable to the exhibition which are main objects of museum, but as a result of its being reglected by this time, it has been recog-nized as a tigid and formal place closed and estranged from the general public. The authoritarian aspect of museum resulted from its sys-tem negative to the people of our country, while its services have been developed as a place in which one understand a country most quicky. Recently, however, as a movement of participating in the newly changing general trend, the contest of design of the new National Museum was announced publicaly worldwide introducing the Museografia method of planning exhibition presentation after thorough analysis of exhibition, which made it known that an importance is intensely put on the en-vironment of relics and their exhibition. The purpose of the study is to analogize the planning prin-ciple of the interior design of the exhibition room of sculp-tures, placing emphasis on the exhibition presentation intro-ducing Museografia as a way of examining the problems and solving them concerning the existing standardized uni-form method of displaying exhibition.   • With the growth of mass media, professional baseball teams have strived to keep up team's tradition and individuality and build a distinctive image through sports marketing using visual identity. Among others, a baseball uniform is used as a sports marketing tool more than an uniform. Uniform color acts as a distinctive element in team's uniform design and is effective to raise attention, manifest a positive image to spectators, and increase trust and affinity. This study aims to compare and analyze color characteristics and images of professional baseball uniforms in America, Japan, and Korea as visual identity. For this, literature review was made on the history of baseball, uniforms, sports marketing, and visual identity, and then color characteristics and images were analyzed on professional baseball away uniforms in Korea, America, and Japan collected in Internet and official web sites. The results are as follows. First, for color characteristics of professional baseball uniforms, the most frequently used color was R(V) color in Korea, ltGy color in America, and Bk color in Japan. Second, for color images of professional baseball uniforms, the most frequently used image was a casual image in Korea, a dandy image in America, and a modern image in Japan.

  • This study explores the concept of spectacular realism. and finds out how spectacular realism is made in movies. The Movies's spectacle is a realistic spectacle that does not miss the reality. so audiences can immerse themselves in it. Nowadays the spectrum of visual realism is becoming very diverse. "Perceptual realism" means to feel more like real than to reproduce reality as it is. "Synthetic realism" is a realism that CGI makes. And "Spectacular realism" makes the spectators concentrate to images than narrative or character. It means the dominance of the visual. The films and showed "Spectacular realism" especially in the aerial battle scenes. The films use 'Presentation of a new spatial sensation using unusual angles', 'Editing that constitutes transcendental time' and 'Intense contrast' as methods to embody spectacular realism. And the harmonious arrangement of transcendental images and very realistic screens effectively embodies Spectacular Realism. This discussion, which began in the air battle scene, could contribute to a broader and more diverse exploration of the implementation of spectacular realism images in the future.

A Study on the Analysis of Museum Gamification Keywords Using Social Media Big Data

  • The purpose of this paper is to identify keywords related to museums, gamification, and visitors, and provide basic data that the museum market can be expanded by using gamification. That used to collect data for blogs, news, cafes, intellectuals, academic information by Naver and Daum which is Web documents in Korea, and Google Web, news, Facebook, Baidu, YouTube, and Twitter for analysis. For the data analysis period, a total of one year of data was selected from April 16, 2020 to April 16, 2021, after Corona. For data collection and analysis, the frequency and matrix of keywords were extracted through Textom, a social matrix site, and the relationship and connection centrality between keywords were analysed and visualized using the Netdraw function in the UCINET6 program. In addition, We performed CONCOR analysis to derive clusters for similar keywords. As a result, a total of 25,761 cases that analysing the keywords of museum, gamification and visitors were derived. This shows that the museum, gamification, and spectators are related to each other. Furthermore, if a system using gamification is developed for museums, the museum market can be developed.

  • The main objective of this study is to empirically analyze the relationship among the major variables of viewing motivation, audience satisfaction, and behavioral intention in the esports spectatorship based on the uses and gratification theory. Through the exploratory factor analysis, we have identified major motivation measures of esports. Regression analysis also showed key motivation factors on audience satisfaction and behavioral intention.

  • Animations consist of the created artificial images. To interpret of the meaning from analyzing the style of main images is an important element in understanding of animations. Therefore, to analyze images expressed in works of Miyazaki-hayao, this study substitutes the concept of 'hybridity' for images of characters, backgrounds, and mechanics created by him and explores how they are expressed, how they produce symbolic meanings and functions. It is confirmed that main images in selected works as a scope of research have hybridity of images between 'past, present, and future', 'eastern elements and western elements', 'real and virtual', 'human beings and animal' in narrative. From these results, it is concluded that because of hybridity between images, he can present fresh pleasures to spectators, simultaneously communicate thoughtful messages above mere enjoyment, which is a differentiable point with works of other directors.

Animation Spectators' View Motive and Selection for Each of Group (애니메이션 관객의 집단별 관람동기와 선택기준)

  • This research analyzed which average comparisons and differences between groups' view motive and selection for information sources, product properties with theater animation spectator. Based on view frequency, each of groups' organization were classified to heavy, occasional, and thinly viewers. As average comparison analysis result, firstly, view motive appeared in order to "want to see animation", "to spend time and leisure activity", "to enjoy fun activity", and "because of others canvassing or recommendation", etc. Secondly, view selection for information source appeared in order to "rumor circumstance or reputation", "theater or TV previews", "internet evaluation and grade", etc. At last, view selection for practical property appeared in order to "story", "character", "special effects", "background music", "background art", "director/directing", "manufacturer/nation", and "dubbing of artist". As difference between group result, view motive and selection for product properties appeared significant differences between each of group. To the contrary, view selection for information sources did not appeared significant differences between each of group.

  • Recently, several sporting events have been canceled or postponed due to the influence of COVID-19's imposed social distancing in life, or are being played without spectators. As a result, the market for sports products has been stagnant, and many are experiencing difficulties. To get over it, sports market players are exploring various new markets such as online fan services and online sales. Therefore, this study proposed a way to manage the authenticity of sports-related products. The block structure, system flow, and network model were designed and prototypes were developed accordingly. Experts were invited through the derived method to conduct a target group interview (FGI) to evaluate the reliability and stability of the transaction process, the reliability and stability of payment, the tracking of accidents, and the reliability and stability of the system. Through this study, consumers can have reliability when trading sports-related products such as goods, favorite items, and sign balls.
