생물다양성 보전을 위한 기후적응지역 설정 연구 -삵의 서식지를 중심으로- (Spatial Planning of Climate Adaptation Zone to Promote Climate Change Adaptation for Endangered Species)

  • This study attempts to facilitate climate change adaptation in conservation area by spatial planning of climate adaptation zone for endangered species. Spatial area is South Korea and select leopard cat (Prionailurus bengalensis) as a target species of this study. In order to specify the climate adaptation zone, firstly, Maximum entropy method (Maxent) was used to identify suitable habitat, and then core habitat was selected for leopard cat. Secondly, land use resistance index was evaluated and least cost distance was analyzed for target species. In this step we choose dispersal capacity of leopard cat to reflect species ecological characteristic. Finally, climate adaptation zone is described and adaptation measures are suggested. The presented approach could be generalized for application into conservation planning and restoration process. Furthermore, spatial planning of climate adaptation zone could increase heterogeneity of habitat and improve adaptive capacity of species and habitat itself.

Spatial Regeneration for Preservation of Historic Urban Features and Improvement of Living Conditions in High-density Historic Districts: Urban Renewal Design Strategies for Shanghai's Old Town

  • Being the origin of Shanghai City, the Old Town presents a high-density spatial texture, a characteristic of local living conditions in the Shanghai context. However, the Old Town is faced with competing interests: the preservation of historic urban features and the improvement of contemporary living conditions. In view of its high density and poor living conditions, this paper focuses on two types of blocks for urban design research, and proposes two spatial regeneration strategies, as "overlapping lilong" and "texture continuity". It is expected to inherit the regional characteristics of urban space, improve the plot ratio and supplement the mix of functions, through the translation of the traditional lilong typology and the reproduction of historical streets and alleys, so as to provide operable spatial strategies and design methods for the organic renewal of Old Town and other historic districts.

소규모 주거공간의 효율적 활용을 위한 공간계획 사례연구 (Case Study of Spatial Planning for the Efficient Use of Small Dwelling Space)

  • In the domestic housing market, uncompleted lot-solid apartments and unoccupied residences are increasing in the medium-large scale area whose rents and transactions have been unstable, as going through the financial crisis and economical recession. Demands for small-scale housings are steadily increasing by practical consumer group who don't need large places, which are often not needed for the current people who are spending most of their time outside of their houses. Therefore, this study proposes the useful methods for spatial planning for small-scale houses for multiple households, including variable form, levels form, multi-level form, and smart-sizing. For efficient spatial planning for that purpose, here, small-scale housings are not limited to places for families with 1-2 members, but considered as one of broader approaches to graft various households and families. In addition, we examined the existed trends of researches about spatial utility of small-scale places, and did the research about the status of small-scale housing developments, and then proposed the direction for future small-scale housings by analyzing the advanced examples.

재실 리모델링 공사 기간 중 공간구조와 쇼핑객 통행량의 상관성 변화 연구 - 코엑스 쇼핑몰을 대상으로 - (The Change of Relationship between Spatial Configuration and Pedestrian Movement during Inhabited Remodeling - Focused on Coex Shipping Mall -)

  • Commercial facilities are put under construction for inhabited remodeling due to management or cost issues. Temporary facility planning is important in inhabited remodeling because building construction and management are simultaneously performed in this type of remodeling. The purpose of this research is to identify how the temporary spatial structure changes for each inhabited remodeling construction level of commercial facilities and existence of tenants affect the spatial usability. It also examines a relationship between the traffic flow and spatial configurations during the inhabited remodeling process where the tenants are temporarily removed and only the spatial configuration are maintained and verifies if the established theory that the spatial configurations in commercial facilities significantly affect the traffic is also valid during the inhabited remodeling process. The research result was found that the amount of traffic during the inhabited remodeling construction process is more affected by the factors such as tenants rather than spatial configurations. It is anticipated that the result of this research will serve as a guideline to establish logical inhabited remodeling plans for each level of constructing temporary facilities. Furthermore, it can be used to minimize the sales damage caused by the construction or as a guideline to determine the order of tenants to be moved into the new commercial facilities.

부산시 역세권 TOD계획요소의 공간특성과 지하철 이용객 수의 상관성에 관한 실증연구 (An Empirical Study on the Correlation between TOD Planning Elements and Subway Ridership in Busan Metropolitan City)

  • 높은 수준의 TOD(대중교통 지향형 도시개발 : Transit Oriented Development)계획요소는 도시민의 대중교통 이용수요를 상승시키고 이는 지역의 보행환경을 개선하는 결과를 가져올 수 있다. 일반적으로 TOD 계획요소는 역세권 주변의 토지이용에 대한 다양성과 대중교통의 접근성, 그외 도시디자인 측면에서 평가되어 왔다. 특히 지하철역을 중심으로 하는 역세권 개발의 특성상 TOD 계획요소의 공간특성은 주변지역의 범위설정에 의존적일 가능성이 존재한다. 또한 물리적 TOD계획요소 이외에 지역의 사회경제적 특성 또한 대중교통의 수요에 큰 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 따라서 TOD에 관한 연구 시 권역설정에 따른 계획요소의 공간특성 변화와 해당지역의 사회경제적 특성을 주목할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 부산시 지하철 역 주변을 대상으로 상이한 공간단위별로 도출된 TOD 계획 수준의 변화를 분석하였다. 또한 지하철 이용객 수와의 다중회귀분석을 통해 효과적인 TOD계획요소의 분석 공간단위를 탐색하였다. 이와 병행하여 사회경제적 요소를 추가적으로 적용한 다중 회귀모형과의 비교분석을 수행하여 TOD계획지표 이외에 사회경제적 변수의 적용 가능성을 검토하였다. 분석결과 공간단위의 설정에 따라 TOD계획지표의 공간분포에 변동성을 발견하였고 연구지역에서 효과적으로 적용 가능한 특정 공간단위를 도출하였다. 또한 물리적 TOD계획요소 이외에 추가적으로 사회경제적 변수를 적용한 다중 회귀모형이 보다 개선된 추론결과를 도출하였다.

USING GIS TO IMPROVE ROADWAY CONSTRUCTION PLANNING

  • The planning process for roadway construction involves a large amount of information on design, construction methods, quantities, unit costs, production rates, and site conditions. Therefore, it is very important to acquire, manage, and process the necessary information efficiently to produce a rigorous construction plan. GIS (Geographic Information System) is a very effective tool for integrating and managing various types of information including spatial and non-spatial data required for roadway construction planning. This paper proposes a GIS-based system for improving roadway construction planning with its 'Interactive Space Scheduling' and 'Operation Level Planning' functions. The proposed system can assist construction planners in a unique way by integrating design and construction information and creating modularized design elements for space scheduling in real time. It is expected that the proposed system could improve the efficiency of roadway construction planning.

공간최적화 모델을 활용한 환경계획의 공간화 방안 (Suggestion for Spatialization of Environmental Planning Using Spatial Optimization Model)

  • Environmental planning includes resource allocation and spatial planning process for the conservation and management of environment. Because the spatialization of the environmental planning is not specifically addressed in the relevant statutes, it actually depends on the qualitative methodology such as expert judgement. The results of the qualitative methodology have the advantage that the accumulated knowledge and intuition of the experts can be utilized. However, it is difficult to objectively judge whether it is enough to solve the original problem or whether it is the best of the possible scenarios. Therefore, this study proposed a methodology to quantitatively and objectively spatialize various environmental planning. At first, we suggested a quantitative spatial planning model based on an optimization algorithm. Secondly, we applied this model to two kinds of environmental planning and discussed about the model performance to present the applicability. Since the models were developed based on conceptual study site, there was a limitation in showing possibility of practical use. However, we expected that this study can contribute to the fields related to environmental planning by suggesting flexible and novel methodology.

GIS를 활용한 상세계획 지원시스템의 개발 (Development of District-level Planning Support System by using GIS)

  • 도시를 관리하고 계획하는 과정은 정보의 수집, 처리, 분석과정이라 해도 과언이 아니다. 특히, 지구를 대상으로 하는 상세계획의 경우는, 도시의 물적 환경을 구성하는 기본요소인 대지, 도로, 건축물 등에 대한 다양한 정보를 획득, 분석함으로써 분석대상 지구의 공간을 인식할 수 있고, 이를 통해서 공간계획을 수립하게 된다. 상세계획 과정에 있어서 지리정보시스템의 활용은 현재까지 현황자료의 단순한 주제도 작성에만 활용되고 있을 뿐이다. 공간인식 및 계획과정에서의 분석적 목적에는 아직까지 효율적으로 활용되고 있지 않다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 상세계획을 지원하기 위한 시스템을 지리정보시스템을 활용하여 개발하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해서 우선, 상세계획 특성에 따른 도시의 지구(district)레벨의 물적 환경 구성의 기본요소인 건축물, 대지, 도로 등에 대한 현황자료의 데이터베이스 설계 방법론을 제시하고, 공간관계를 이용한 물적 요소간의 위상(topology)을 정의하였다. 아울러 이를 바탕으로 한 상세계획 지원을 위한 공간질의기를 ArcView와 Avenue, Dialog Extension을 이용하여 개발하였고, 이를 사례지역에 적용해 보았다. 결론적으로 본 연구를 통하여 공간의사결정 규칙을 활용한 상세계획 지원시스템의 활용 가능성을 확인하였고, 보다 효율적 인 시스템으로 상세계획의 불확실성을 줄이기 위해서는 최신의 지형도의 확보와 지형도와 지적도의 불부합 문제를 해결해 나가야 하겠다. 아울러서 래스터, 네트워크, 이미지, 3차원자료를 활용할 수 있는 방법을 개발해야 한다.

공간통사론에 의한 종합병원 공간구성 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Evaluation of the Spatial Configuration in General Hospitals by Space Syntax)

  • This study aims at evaluating the spatial configuration of general hospitals in terms of Visitors' movement pattern. In doing so, the study deals with three hospitals which are recently built and are generally considered to show recent trends in their spatial configuration. First, the Space Syntax method is used in order to systematically describe and analyse the spatial configurations, and thus to find out the spatial characteristics of each hospital in terms of movement pattern. Second, the spatial characteristics reflected on the 1st floor plan are compared with the planning concepts considered at early stage of the design. It can be said that the concept of hospital street and the spatial hierarchy should be carefully taken into account and tested the spatial configuration by the completed floor plan in order to satisfy the planning concepts.

최근 공동주택 설계경기에 나타난 단위세대 계획개념 및 공간 계획 특성 - 2007년도 이후의 수도권 설계경기 당선작을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Planning Concept and Spatial Characteristics of the Multi-housing Units in Design Competition - Focused on the prize-wining works of design competition in Seoul and Kyunggi Area since 2007 -)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the planning concept and spatial characteristics of the multi-housing units in prize-wining works of design competition since 2007. Literature review and content analysis were used for this study and 199units over $59m^2$ were analyzed to review the planning concept, spatial composition and layout. The results of this study were as follows; 1)The planning concept of these units were divided into three aspects; that is, eco-friendly, rational and sustainable unit plan by means of functional, environmental-friendly and future-oriented aspects. 2)Most unit plans had 3LDK+2bath and 4Bay types including family room as a public space. This results shows that family-room and bathroom has recently become more important than number of rooms in multi-housing units planning. 2)In terms of the spatial composition of LDK and Master Bed room, LDK area become large, open type and master-zone were showed 'bed room+dress and powder room+bath' type. 3)The entrance has a intermediated space as a balcony or a former space and the privacy of LDK space was protected from the entrance. This study has a significant moaning on grasping current trend in Korean multi-housing and to provide Information for future direction on housing-unit design.
