부산지역의 도시열섬 구조 변화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Change of the Urban Heat Island Structure in Busan Metropolitan Area, Korea)

  • The spatial and temporal changes of the annual mean urban heat island(UHI) intensity were investigated using near surface temperature data measured at 16 automatic weather systems(AWS) in Busan metropolitan area(BMA) during the 11-yr period, from 2000 to 2010. For nighttime, the annual mean UHI intensity at Dongnae(U1) in 2000 was weaker than it in 2010. However the change of the annual mean UHI intensity at Daeyeon(U2) during 11 years was different from it at U1. The annual frequency of the UHI intensity over $5^{\circ}C$ considerably increased at U2 and decreased at U1 during 11 years. The center of the UHI also spatially shifted southward with Daeyeon and Haeundae in BMA. It would be caused by the increase of urban area, population-density and transportation near U2 and by the decrease of them near U1. We found that the spatial and temporal differences of the UHI intensity have coincided with changes of land-use, population density and transportation in BMA.

Spatial and Temporal Analysis of Land-use Changes Associated with Past Mining in the Kitakyushu District, Japan

  • In the beginning of $20^{th}$ century, the coal mining industry had an important role in Japan at which two-thirds of the coal product came from the Kitakyushu-Chikuho District (KCD). As a consequence of mining activities, land-use condition in this district showed notable changes. This paper presented a study of land-use changes in coal mining area by characterizing land-use pattern transition over the last 100 years. In order to carry out the rigorous analysis of land-use, a series of land-use maps over the last 100 years was developed using geographic information systems (GIS). The historic topographic map and another available old data were used to investigate the long-term changes of land-use associated with past mining within the GIS platform. The results showed that the utilization of a series of developed land-use maps successfully indicated the difference of land-use pattern in the KCD before and after the peak of mining activities. The general findings from land-use analysis described that forest and farm lands were lost and turned into abandoned sites in the last 100 years.

국민임대주택의 평면구성비 변화에 관한 연구 -전라남도 장성군을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Changes in Spatial Composition Ratio of National Rental Houses - Focused on the Jangseong-gun Jeollanam-do Province -)

  • This study aims to investigate the changes in area ratios by space through floor plans of national leasing houses constructed by the LH in Jangseong-gun, particularly focusing on the floor plans of public leasing housing complexes built during the 1970s-80s and those during the 2010s. The results are as follows: First, according to the composition ratio of floor plans by period, the type of Bedroom> Livingroom> Common Area> Kitchen+Dining> Multi-purpose room> Bathroom> or the type of Bedroom> Livingroom> Kitchen/Dining> Common Area> Bathroom> Multi-purpose room were found to be high during the 1970s. Whereas, the type of Common Area>Living room(Kitchen/Dining included)>Bedroom>Bathroom>Front Entrance was found to be high during the 2010. It can be concluded that the ratio of Bedroom and Living room was found to be high during the 1970s, but after 2010s, the spacial composition ratio of Common Space, Living room, and Bedroom is getting higher in the order. Second, in terms of the composition ratio of floor plans by the area of unit household, among the floor plan of C-1, B-2, B-3, C-2 which were used since 2010s, the spatial ratio of Bedroom was maintained in the range of 20%; while during the 1970s, the Bedroom space of A-1(46%), A-2(46%), and A-3(41%) was found to be higher than 40%. It can be concluded that the size of bedroom space has doubled over time. In terms of the changes in the spatial ratio of Living room, A-1(15%), A-2(22%), and A-3(23%) were found during the 1970s. Compared to the recent floor plans of C-1(28%), B-2(25%), B-3(33%), and C-2(34%) which are applied in Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do province, no big changes have been found, particularly in the small floor plans (20% range).

  • This study is to predict the possibilities of phenomenological spatial design, by recognizing that a phenomenological spatial design brings about a change in the type, regime, role and materials of a spatiality due to the effect of contemporary digital technology and by analyzing their characteristics. Therefore, the study is based on the phenomenology of perception of Morris Merleau Ponty, which has the same concept to contemporary out-of-material and out-of-hierarchical paradigm. The case study has been carried out by selecting some of all works since 1980s, which were influenced by Merleau-Ponty. The analyses were performed by substituting the cases into the spatiality of Situation, spatiality of participation and creation, spatiality of retrospect and prospect, and the spatiality of unpredictability, which were the concept of phenomenological space of Merleau-Ponty for the analyses of features of type, regime, role and material of a spatial design. This article has a great significance in expecting the possibilities of changes of phenomenological spatial design by examining the characteristics of phenomenological spatial design.

An Analysis on Seoullo 7017 in Terms of Spatial Configuration and Pedestrian Movement in Comparison with the High-line Project

  • Inspired by the success of the High-line project in New York, The Seoul Metropolitan Government launched a project to convert an overpass near Seoul station into a pedestrian park. Seoullo 7017 went through instant success after its opening in May 2017; however, there is a continuous controversy over its long-term impact as shown in the exemplary cases like the High-line project. This study aims for quantitative investigation through the comparative analysis between Seoullo 7017 and the High-Line in the perspectives of spatial configuration. Space Syntax was chosen as the analysis method for this research. Integration (3) in Space Syntax is known to have a high correlation with pedestrian volume; thus, by using this method, spatial structure was analyzed by comparing the statistically verified results of changes in the spatial structure of the Highline with those in Seoul. The results indicated that the influence of Seoullo 7017 was less than that of the High-line in terms of spatial configuration. The reason for this difference is spatial configuration between Manhattan and Seoul. The High-line is located in Manhattan which has an urban grid structure, whereas Seoul has non-geometric urban structure, the neighborhood unit in Korea. Also the center of the overpass isn't connected well with its surroundings.

재실 리모델링 공사 기간 중 공간구조와 쇼핑객 통행량의 상관성 변화 연구 - 코엑스 쇼핑몰을 대상으로 - (The Change of Relationship between Spatial Configuration and Pedestrian Movement during Inhabited Remodeling - Focused on Coex Shipping Mall -)

  • Commercial facilities are put under construction for inhabited remodeling due to management or cost issues. Temporary facility planning is important in inhabited remodeling because building construction and management are simultaneously performed in this type of remodeling. The purpose of this research is to identify how the temporary spatial structure changes for each inhabited remodeling construction level of commercial facilities and existence of tenants affect the spatial usability. It also examines a relationship between the traffic flow and spatial configurations during the inhabited remodeling process where the tenants are temporarily removed and only the spatial configuration are maintained and verifies if the established theory that the spatial configurations in commercial facilities significantly affect the traffic is also valid during the inhabited remodeling process. The research result was found that the amount of traffic during the inhabited remodeling construction process is more affected by the factors such as tenants rather than spatial configurations. It is anticipated that the result of this research will serve as a guideline to establish logical inhabited remodeling plans for each level of constructing temporary facilities. Furthermore, it can be used to minimize the sales damage caused by the construction or as a guideline to determine the order of tenants to be moved into the new commercial facilities.

건축물 실시간 원격 스캔을 위한 SLAM 시스템 개발 시 고려사항 (Considerations for Developing a SLAM System for Real-time Remote Scanning of Building Facilities)

  • In managing building facilities, spatial information is the basic data for decision making. However, the method of acquiring spatial information is not easy. In many cases, the site and drawings are often different due to changes in facilities and time after construction. In this case, the site data should be scanned to obtain spatial information. The scan data actually contains spatial information, which is a great help in making space related decisions. However, to obtain scan data, an expensive LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) device must be purchased, and special software for processing data obtained from the device must be available.Recently, SLAM (Simultaneous localization and mapping), an advanced map generation technology, has been spreading in the field of robotics. Using SLAM, 3D spatial information can be obtained quickly in real time without a separate matching process. This study develops and tests whether SLAM technology can be used to obtain spatial information for facility management. This draws considerations for developing a SLAM device for real-time remote scanning for facility management. However, this study focuses on the system development method that acquires spatial information necessary for facility management through SLAM technology. To this end, we develop a prototype, analyze the pros and cons, and then suggest considerations for developing a SLAM system.

온라인 정보검색과 음식점 입지에 나타나는 변화: 서울시를 사례로 (Online Information Retrieval and Changes in the Restaurant Location: The Case Study of Seoul)

  • 정보통신기술의 발달로 온라인 정보검색과 사회연결망을 통한 정보 교류가 빈번해지면서 오프라인 공간에서 교통망으로 주어지는 물리적 접근성을 근간으로 구축된 기존의 입지이론으로는 설명할 수 없는 상업 입지의 양상이 전개되고 있다. 본 연구는 도시민의 일상생활과 밀접하게 연관된 생활밀접형 업종 중 음식점을 대상으로 스마트폰 출시 이후 지난 10여 년 동안 서울시 소재 음식점 입지의 분포 변화와 입지 영향 요인을 실증 분석한다. 특히 SNS상에서 맛집 검색 등 온라인 검색 활동과 음식점 입지와의 관계도 파악한다. 이를 위하여 개업, 폐업, 영업 중인 음식점 입지의 커널밀도 및 모란지수를 측정하여 음식점 분포의 군집성과 군집 양상의 변화 추이를 살펴보고, 최적의 공간회귀모형을 추정하여 음식점 입지에 영향을 미치는 온·오프라인 속성을 파악한다. 본 연구의 분석 결과는 소비자의 장소 선택 의사 결정 과정에 있어 장소에 대한 정보검색 과정이 더해지는 초연결사회에서 음식점 입지를 계획하고 관련 정책을 수립하는 데 있어 중요한 기초자료가 될 것이다.

Spatial Characteristics and Driving Forces of Cultivated Land Changes by Coupling Spatial Autocorrelation Model and Spatial-temporal Big Data

  • With the rapid development of information technology, it is now possible to analyze the spatial patterns of cultivated land and its evolution by combining GIS, geostatistical analysis models and spatiotemporal big data for the dynamic monitoring and management of cultivated land resources. The spatial pattern of cultivated land and its evolutionary patterns in Luoyang City, China from 2009 to 2019 were analyzed using spatial autocorrelation and spatial autoregressive models on the basis of GIS technology. It was found that: (1) the area of cultivated land in Luoyang decreased then increased between 2009 and 2019, with an overall increase of 0.43% in 2019 compared to 2009, with cultivated land being dominant in the overall landscape of Luoyang; (2) cultivated land holdings in Luoyang are highly spatially autocorrelated, with the 'high-high'-type area being concentrated in the border area directly north and northeast of Luoyang, while the 'low-low'-type area is concentrated in the south and in the municipal area of Luoyang, and being heavily influenced by topography and urbanization. The expansion determined during the study period mainly took place in the Luoyang City, with most of it being transferred from the 'high-low'-type area; (3) elevation, slope and industrial output values from analysis of the bivariate spatial autocorrelation and spatial autoregressive models of the drivers all had significant effects on the amount of cultivated land holdings, with elevation having a positive effect, and slope and industrial output having a negative effect.

인구밀도경사함수를 이용한 우리나라 도시공간구조의 지역별.규모별 변화특성 분석 (Analysis of Changes in the Characteristics of Urban Spatial Structure in Korea through the Population Gradient Curve)

  • 본 논문의 목적은 우리나라 도시공간구조 변화를 시계열적으로 분석하고, 지역별 규모별 그 특성을 도출하는 것이다. 본 논문에서 도시공간구조는 인구밀도경사함수(population gradient curve)를 통해 분석하였고, 분석의 시간적 범위는 자료구축의 가능성을 고려하여 2000년부터 2010년까지로 설정하였으며, 공간적 범위는 광역시를 제외한 70개 도시이다. 본 논문의 분석결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 우리나라 도시들은 평균적으로 도심 인구밀도는 감소하고, 인구밀도 경사도는 완만해져 도심 집중현상보다 외곽지역으로의 확산이 활발하게 진행되는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 비수도권 지역은 전국 평균과 동일한 형태의 공간구조 변화를 경험하였지만, 수도권 지역은 외곽지역뿐만 아니라 도심까지 인구밀도가 함께 높아지는 현상이 나타났다. 셋째, 인구 20만 이상의 중도시와 대도시에서는 도심 집중현상보다는 도시 외곽지역으로의 확산이 우세하게 나타난 반면, 인구 20만 미만의 소도시에서는 도심 인구밀도가 높아지면서 인구밀도 경사도의 절댓값이 커지는 도심 집중현상, 즉 압축도시의 특성이 나타나는 것으로 분석되었다.
