Clustering Unlabeled Spatial-datasets to convert them to Labeled Spatial-datasets is a challenging task specially for geographical information systems. In this research study we investigated the NYC Taxi Limousine Commission dataset and discover that all of the spatial-temporal trajectory are unlabeled Spatial-datasets, which is in this case it is not suitable for any data mining tasks, such as classification and regression. Therefore, it is necessary to convert unlabeled Spatial-datasets into labeled Spatial-datasets. In this research study we are going to use the Clustering Technique to do this task for all the Trajectory datasets. A key difficulty for applying machine learning classification algorithms for many applications is that they require a lot of labeled datasets. Labeling a Big-data in many cases is a costly process. In this paper, we show the effectiveness of utilizing a Clustering Technique for labeling spatial data that leads to a high-accuracy classifier.

GeoSensor 네트워크란 지리공간상에서 발생하는 다양한 현상들을 모니터링하는 특정형태의 센서네트워크 인프라 및 관련 소프트웨어를 의미한다. 그리고 이러한 GeoSensor 네트워크는 데이터스트림과 공간 속성의 데이터를 가진 스트림, 또는 공간 릴레이션과의 조합으로 구현될 수 있다. 하지만, 최근까지 연구된 센서 네트워크 시스템은 공간 정보를 배제한 센서 데이터스트림에 대한 저장 및 검색 방안 연구에 치중되어 있다. 따라서 본 논문은 GeoSensor 네트워크에서 데이터스트림과 공간 데이터가 결합된 형태의 공간 데이터스트림의 정의 및 그들 간의 조인 전략들을 제안한다. 본 논문에서 정의하고 있는 공간 데이터스 트림에는 이동 객체 형태의 동적 공간 데이터스트림과 고정된 형태의 정적 공간 데이터스트림이 있다. 동적공간 데이터스트림은 GPS와 같이 동적으로 이동하는 센서에 의해 전송되는 데이터스트림을 말한다. 반면, 정적 공간 데이터스트림은 일반 센서 형태의 데이터스트림과 이러한 센서들의 위치 값을 가지고 있는 릴레이션과의 조인으로 만들어 진다. 본 논문은 동적 공간 데이터스트림과 정적 공간 데이터스트림의 조인 및 조인 비용을 추정하는 모델을 제안하고 있다. 또한, 실험을 통해 제안하는 비용 모델의 검증 및 조인 전략에 따른 조인 성능을 보이고 있다.

우리나라의 공간정보정책은 "국가공간정보에 관한 법률", "측량 수로조사 및 지적에 관한 법률", "공간정보산업 진흥법" 등을 근거로 제도화 되었으며, 이들은 2015년 6월 새로운 이름과 내용으로 시행된다. 공간정보의 개념이 보편화되고 있는 현 상황에서 공간정보법이 타법과의 관계에서 체계적으로 정합을 이루며 발전하기 위하여 갖추어야 할 사항을 검토할 필요가 있다. 대표적으로 공간정보 개념의 유형화, 공간정보 관련법제의 체계화, 공간정보 추진체계의 전문화에 대하여 현행 법률을 검토하고 일부 보완이 필요한 점에 대하여 개선방안을 제시하고자 한다. 이러한 개선방안의 근거로는 공간정보에 관하여 우리보다 일찍 발전을 이룬 독일, 프랑스, 미국의 입법례와 정책사례를 참고하였다.

Over the past few years, a number of studies have been made on web map services, which enable the GIS user to access spatial data through the web. They, however, have focused on only implementation techniques separately, such as map client implementation, map server implementation, communication between client and server, and the map data representation. Therefore, it is hard to share and practical use the spatial data, because they does not ensure interoperability in heterogeneous map servers. In this paper, we have designed and implemented the web map server with open architecture, which complies with the standard interfaces proposed by OpenGIS Consortium (OGC). In particular, we have extended the OGC’s interfaces for a map server to support one or more data sources. This paper has contributed to construction and practical use of web map services by newly proposing the method of implementation of a map server, which could be reused regardless of the types of data sources.

최근 공간 정보들을 효과적으로 이용할 수 있는 기술에 대한 연구가 활발하게 이루어지고 있다. 효율적인 지식 탐사를 위해 다양한 기존의 데이터 마이닝 방법들이 확장되어 공간 데이터 마이닝에 사용되고 있다. 그러나 기존의 공간 연관 규칙 탐사 시스템들은 프레디킷 간의 연산을 통해 규칙을 발견함에 따라 질의 결과에 다양한 비공간 속성들을 반영하지 못하는 문제점을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 공간 데이터베이스에서 사용되는 질의를 확장하고, 위상정보에 따른 데이터를 구성한 후 비공간 객체 속성간의 연관 규칙을 발견하는 시스템을 제안한다. 특히 지리 정보 시스템에 적용 가능한 모델을 구현하였다. 이렇게 구현된 시스템은 사용 중인 공간 데이터베이스를 확장하므로 이식성이 뛰어나고, 공간 속성뿐만 아니라 다양한 비공간 속성을 고려함으로써 좀 더 실생활에 유용한 공간 연관 규칙을 발견할 수 있다.

In this study, we performed spatial cluster analysis which considered spatial information using earthquake data for Korean peninsula occurred on 1978 year to 2005 year. Also, we look into how to be clustered for regions using earthquake magnitude and frequency based on spatial scan statistic. And, on the basis of the results, we constructed earthquake map by earthquake outbreak risk and gave a possible explanation for the results of spatial cluster analysis.

Recently, PDA and cellular phone with color LCD have been widely used in various fields by high efficiency and micro miniaturization technology. According to maturity of these mobile environments, user request about mobile application field is increased. Mobile applications provide various information which is concerned with user's position through cable and wireless transmission. This paper discusses the issues related to the mobile framework for integrated 4S data. The integrated 4S data mean spatial data fusion on GIS, SIIS, ITS, and GNSS. The mobile framework provides not only spatial data but also location services such as reverse geocoding, directory service, etc. It consists of client subsystem, service provider, and data provider.

XML은 개발자들이 클라이언트 어플리케이션에 데이터를 디스플레이하고 조작하기 위해 구조화된 데이터를 표현하고 전달하고 교환할수 있는 텍스트 기반 포맷을 말한다. 이러한 XML에 Spatial 정보를 포함한 Spatial XML이 등장하면서 이에대한 이용에 많은 관심이 있으며 실제로 Spatial XML을 RDBMS에 저장하여 지리정보 검색에 대한 유용한 자료로 사용하고 있다. 이 논문에서는 Spatial XML을 질의 하기 위한 Spatial XQuery를 이용하여 RDBMS에 저장된 자료에 대한 검색하고 또한 Spatial XML Generator를 통해서 XML형태로 RDBMS에 있는 정보를 추출하는 Spatial XML Generator 알고리즘을 구현하고자 한다.

In this paper, we suggest a new spatial information system called video GIS where video is used for spatial data construction and is integrated with map. We develop a prototype system of video GIS and apply it to roadside facility management. The main functions supported by the suggested system are data collection, coordinate calculation and conversion, data construction, analysis, searching, and browsing. The stereo images and corresponding position data are collected by a vehicle named 4S-Van that has GPS, IMU, and cameras. The 3-D coordinates of the objects in the images, such as road sign, signal lamp, and building, can be calculated and constructed from the collected data. The spatial objects are displayed on both image and map, and can be searched and browsed, which enables visual and realistic browsing and management of spatial objects. Compared to conventional field survey used in roadside facility management, the method enables faster, easier, and more efficient construction of spatial data. The suggested video GIS can be applied not only to roadside facility management but also to many similar projects of central or local governments that are related to GIS.

본 연구는 풍수해로부터 발생 가능한 피해를 추정하기 위한 공간정보 DB 활용 방안과 공간정보의 품질 점검 기준을 제안하고자 하였다. 국가재난관리정보시스템, 국가공간정보통합체계 공개자료 목록을 대상으로 공간정보 DB 중 풍수해 피해 추정을 위해 활용될 수 있는 데이터를 피해유형별로 매핑하였으며, 해당 데이터를 활용하여 피해 분석을 위한 품질 점검 기준 항목을 제안하였다. 본 연구를 통해 풍수해 피해 추정을 위한 공간정보 DB 활용이 가능할 것이며, 품질 점검 기준을 통해 분석 결과의 신뢰성을 담보할 수 있을 것이다.
