초기보급 예비부품을 위한 예산결정 모델연구 (A Study on Budget Decision Model for Initial Provisioning Spare Parts)

  • When the new equipment or weapon system is introduced to the operating unit its repair facilities and spare parts supply channels are not regularly generated. therefore, its required spare parts are initially supplied at the same time when the main equipment is deployed. For these circumstances, we are faced with the following problems : the first one is to decide the budget amounts to acquire the spare parts, the second is to choose the amounts of initial provisioning spare parts, and the third one is how to allocate the given budget for the initial provisioning spare parts. This paper emphasizes on determining the budget amounts, but also suggests the spare parts allocating methods.

  • 본 논문에서는 그룹교체 정책과 예비품 재고정책을 동시에 고려하여 최적화하는 방안을 제시한다. 일반적으로 보전정책들은 예비품의 재고가 늘 가용하다고 가정하고 있으나 예비품의 재고 확보 여부에 의해 보전활동은 영향을 받을 수밖에 없다. 동일한 여러 유닛들이 동시에 운용될 때 이용되는 그룹교체정책을 바탕으로 이를 지원하기 위한 최적 재고수준을 결정한다. 일정한 개수의 유닛이 고장 나는 시점에서 그룹교체를 수행한다. 예비품의 재고는 일정 횟수의 그룹교체를 할 만큼 주문하여 유지한다. 보전비용과 재고비용 등 운용비용을 최소화할 수 있는 최적의 그룹교체 주기와 재고수준을 구한다.

  • In this paper, the consumable concurred spare parts requirement determination problem of newly procured equipment systems is considered. The problem is formulated as the operational availability maximization problem with any given fund limitation. the that the failure of a part follows a Poisson process and part failure rate is constant in spite of the decrease of number of equipments during operational period, an analytical method is developed to obtain spare part requirements using the generalized Lagrange multipliers method, The numerical examples show that analytic solution is mostly equal to the realistic solution obtained from simulation regardless of assumptions about part failure rate. It is expected that the analytical method developed in the paper can be effectively used to make a budget for provisioning the concurrent spare parts of newly procured equipment system.

  • This paper addresses the problem of determining the proper level of concurrent spare parts(CSP) for a system consisting of multi-item parts under an available budget constraint. Initial provisioning of spare parts plays a major role in the acquisition of a new equipment system. Therefore, the proper level of spare parts should be on hand to maintain the availability of the system. This paper proposes a new CSP model and solution procedure that determines the proper level of spare parts satisfying the item priority and simultaneously available budget constraint.

  • This article develops model of the nonstationary state behavior of the multiechelon spare parts provisioning systems. This study is concerned with a problem of determining the near optimal requirements level of the spare parts, especially Concurrent Spare Parts(CSP). CSP is supplied with the procurement of new equipment system, and is used to sustain the equipment without resupply during the initial coverage period. We consider this situation as a multiechelon inventory model with several bases and one depot. And we assume an equipment system which consists of many types of parts would grounded if one of the parts fail. Also this multiechelon CSP problem is considering the nonstationary poisson failure process and nonstationary exponential repair process in a dynamic environment. We develop an efficient computational procedure to find the near optimal number of spare parts minimizing the total expected cost, while achieving the required system availability. Finally we present a simple example of suggested method.

  • In this paper considered is the provisioning quantity determination problem of consumable concurrent spare parts (CSP) of a new equipment system to minimize the procurement cost under the operational availability constraint. When a part fails, repair of the failed part is impossible and the part is replaced and cannibalization is allowed. The failure of a part is assumed to follow a Poisson process and the operational availability in CSP is defined. The solution procedure consists of two parts. Firstly, a heuristic algorithm is developed under the assumption that the failure rate is constant during the CSP period. Secondly, proposed is a simulation search procedure which improves the heuristic solution to the near optimal solution in a reasonable amount of time. An illustrative example is shown to explain the solution procedure.

  • In this paper, partially repairable concurrent spare parts requirement determination problem of newly procured equipment systems is considered. “partially repairable” means that a portion of damaged parts can be recover their function and reused after repairs. A mathematical model is derived for making an CSP requirement determination subject to the constraint of satisfying any given operational availability limitation. We assume that the failure of a part follows a Poisson process and the repair time has an exponential distribution. Using the generalized Lagrange multipliers method, the solution procedure is derived.

  • 철도차량의 많은 부품들 중에서도 특히 motor block은 차량의 안전과 성능을 좌우하는 핵심 요소이다. 이러한 이유로 철도차량의 안전성과 신뢰도 향상을 위해 motor block의 성능을 시험하고 조사하는 것은 매우 중요한 사항이다. 이와 같이, motor block은 철도차량에서 중요한 부분을 차지하고 있으나, 현재까지는 운영자의 경험에 의존하여 구매수량과 예비품수량이 결정되어지고 있다. 이로 인해 과다하게 많은 예비품이 발생하거나 예비품이 부족한 경우를 초래하는 등 문제가 발생되고 있다. 많은 예비품이 발생하는 경우 비용 문제로 유지하기 어려우며 반대로 예비품이 부족할 경우 철도 차량 시스템 전체에 악영향을 미칠 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 고장률, MTBF, 규격 및 가이드 등 관련 자료의 분석을 이용하여 철도차량의 motor block의 optimal spare 산출을 위한 방안을 제시하고, 나아가 현장에서의 적정 예비 부품 수량을 결정하는 데에 기여할 것으로 기대한다.

수명교체와 예비품 재고 정책의 통합 최적화 (Joint Optimization of Age Replacement and Spare Provisioning Policy)

  • Joint optimization of preventive age replacement and inventory policy is considered in this paper. There are three decision variables in the problem: (i) preventive replacement age of the operating unit, (ii) order quantity per order and (iii) reorder point for spare replenishment. Preventive replacement age and order quantity are jointly determined so as to minimize the expected cost rate, and then the reorder point for meeting a desired service level is found. A numerical example is included to explain the joint optimization model.
