In lighting design and lighting in the light of how the physical space rather than the amount of light metering is implemented in the same space as horizontal illuminance and luminance study of the spatial analysis as a basis for improving the quality of scientific and cognitive aspects analyzed the vertical component of the light. This study examines the space composition and character of Baroque Theater base on the theory of drama and play in the european traditional theater. Contemporary multi purpose theater and public space is considered as a symbolic representation of the baroque theater's organization. In the historical theory, baroque theater was a common tool and best systeme in reflecting people's lives. The role of theater as mass culture and new style of theater permanent design had get its value with the population increase and the urban centralization of the city and urban common sense. This study attempts to reevaluate the need of public space in modern society through a critical review of theater and its use as a open space design. Content analysis was used to discuss the topics of this study including the historical background of the theater, the relationship between renaissance culture and modern theater design, and the role of scenery, auditorium and its impact on urban environment. The scope of the study is limited to the comparison of baroque theater and space use program from the space critic and sociologist. Today the concept of theatrical space is altered with the advent of non-objects and multi media space. This study provides insights for the future implications of theatrical space in developing public space for its a new definition as cultural representation.

상호 호혜적으로 진행되는 심우주 탐사 시장에서 우리나라와 같은 심우주 탐사의 후발주자가 심우주 탐사선진국과 빠르게 보조를 맞추기 위해서는 개발기간과 비용을 줄일 수 있는 표준 심우주 탐사선 모델 도출이 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 심우주 탐사선에 요구되는 공통설계를 기반으로 하는 표준 심우주탐사선 기본형, 경량형, 및 확장형에 대한 개념 및 형상을 새롭게 제시하였다. 제시된 형상은 모듈화 설계를 바탕으로 하여 확장성 및 설계/구현 효율성을 높였다. 그리고, 표준 심우주 탐사선의 3가지 형태에 적용 가능한 경량화/확장성을 기반으로 하는 전기시스템 설계에 대해서도 기술하였다.

The recognition of emotionality becomes so important that it is called' emotional consumption society'. Emotional design, which is mostly concern about user's consensus & experiences and in the space, is appeared on commercial place. Emotional design is understanded from a Interactive point of view, human and interior-space. The purpose of this study is to examine the emotional design by analysis of multiple-commercial-functioned shopping places. Specially, the most recently remarkale Jerde partnership's shopping space in Japan. Jerde partnership' project theme is creative experience by making place and experience design. Though, they weren't claim to stand for emotional design, but presented an emotional element in the shopping mall works.

Multi-objective design exploration (MODE) and its applications are reviewed as an attempt to utilize numerical simulation in aerospace engineering design. MODE reveals the structure of the design space based on trade-off information. A self-organizing map (SOM) is incorporated into MODE as a visual data mining tool for the design space. SOM divides the design space into clusters with specific design features. This article reviews existing visual data mining techniques applied to engineering problems. Then, we discuss three applications of MODE: multidisciplinary design optimization for a regional-jet wing, silent supersonic technology demonstrator and centrifugal diffusers.

The purpose of this study is to suggest the materials for developing the new house style by analysing the space characteristics of wood frame houses in suburbs of Seoul. For this, we analysed 45 drawings(site plan, floor plan, elevation, section) that were designed by MICHOO, WOOD-LAND, STUGA and CHOWONJUTECK company etc. The space design characteristics that we found are as follows; 1. The wood is fragile to humidity. Therefore this characteristic is especially considered in designing the space of bathroom and utility room. 2. It is the merit of wood frame house that inner space can be designed variously by using spilt-level and the slope of roof. 3.The public space and private space are completely separated in most cases and the stair is located in the middle of house. This structure of house is short of horizontal openness. Instead, most houses gets vertical openness by making second floor on the living room opev. 4. In wood frame house as the rural house, the outer space is well used by setting up deck and balcony. The outer spaces like deck and balcony are usually used as a part of life space in connected with living room, dining room, master bed room and family room. 5. The public spaces like kitchen, living room, dining room and family room are considered so important in design that those are arranged in front in order to have good outlook and directiov.

Relationship between body and space is fundamental in space design. The perception and concept of human body in each age directly affected the space makings of that time. Thoughts on human body are related to various periodical backgrounds such as culture, art, technology and etc. Body-Space relationship has been changed through different epochs and is being changed in the present time too. In contemporary cities, architectural programs has been fragmented and activities of individuals become more articulated. The rigidity of each architectural program has been forced to be more flexible amalgamation of diverse behaviors by dynamic urban time-space formations and patterns. Based on this current situations, new experimental designs that question the existing preconceived relationship between body and space in different views. These design experiments attempt to overcome the solid physical fixation of architectural buildings and to directly relate human body to intelligent devices, technologies, machines as well as spaces. This research focus on the innovative design projects in which body, machine, space are smartly compound as one organization. The purpose of this study is to examine the new Body-Space relationship as well as some relevant case projects in contemporary fashion, furniture, interior design and architecture.

The main scope of this study is to define such system of space composition factor to diversify the interior space of the apartment housing. Staring from the space analysis, identification of the design factors, characters of the anthropometry for the dwelling behavior, and analyzed dimensions of the interior furniture from the market data have uniformly integrated to engage with such system for innovation and diversification of the space design method. The elements of the composition factors are as follows: 1. X-axis is stands for horizontal length of the factor, Y-axis is for the space depth, and lastly, Z-axis is for the hieghts of the space based on anthropometris.

The purpose of this study is to examine the characteristics of space design of Isamu Noguchi's works barred on the stage sets and environmental designs. From the end of 19th century, space which was begun to be studied about in architects has continued to be researched by not only scientists but artists. Recently, space Is expressed in free and new forms due to diversity of societies and advancement of technology, As a result, space has become an essential part in art and is used in the titles of many art exhibitions. This study scrutinizes space in Isamu Noguchi's works. No other 20th century artist has as clear and progressive space conception as Noguchi's. His notion of modern art was modified through space in the tradition of cubism and Russian Constructivism and Bauhaus. Combined with his experience in the traditional Japanese houses and gardens, these influences led toward a broadened conception of sculpture as the creation of living space. These modernist's characteristics are found in his early expression of stage sets for choreographer Martha Graham, and they would lead to a wide range of design activities, from gardens and interiors to fountains and furniture. Isamu Noguchi had created a body of work that crossed the boundary between fine and applied art as a sculptor, and as an environmental designer.

The purpose of this study is to be applied with the basic data for the design method in the housing space which is differential. So, we analyzed the expression method and the application characteristic to materials of units in housing complex. To that, we researched on the condition of finishing material about the kind of material, color, texture and pattern for components in living room space. The results of this study are as follows : First, at the present time, the Object concept is expressed by 'mixing' and 'juxtaposition' of material, texture and pattern of finishing materials in housing space. But, we could find that the Object concept was used restrictively in housing space. So, we have to find different expression methods to be the effective and differential design by being applied Object concept for the housing space. Second, the 'mixing' which is the method to express the Object concept is showed in only 'art wall'. so, we can estimate that the method is the limited method to plan the varied housing. It is needed various expression methods to design components for the housing space. Third, it showed that the 'mixing' was a passive expression method using a little differential for design of housing space. We could estimate that similar methods were applied to the housing design. By results of this study, we can think that the develop study is needed to find design methods for expression of the Object in housing space.
