본본 논문에서는 Space Syntax 이론에 기반하여 여성의 안전한 여가활동 경로를 추천하는 어플리케이션을 제안한다. 이 어플리케이션은 접근성, 지역 간 상호관계 등을 바탕으로 한 계산을 통해 추천경로를 만든다. 이는 일반적인 네비게이션이 가지는 최단시간, 최단거리 탐색과는 차별성을 가지며, 안전을 최우선으로 한 경로를 탐색한다. 오늘날 늘어난 여가시간에 따라 사람들의 레저 활동이 많아지며, 따라서 여성의 경우도 참여율에 높아진다. 이 때 여성의 경우 안전적 문제에 있어 레저 활동 장소까지의 경로를 추천하고자 한다. 본 논문에서는 제안하는 레저활동과 여성안전에 관련한 어플리케이션은 다양한 위험요소를 염두에 두어 계산을 통해 안전한 경로를 제공하는 알고리듬으로 주관적 선택사항을 적용하여, 자기맞춤형 경로를 선택 가능하게 한다.

This study analyzes spatial density and integration of Space Syntax and Discrete Event Simulation (DEVS) of complex system theory and analyzes spatial structure by property, type and depth. The aim of this study is to secure the validity of the theoretical application. The study evaluated the correlation between spatial density and integration by setting up eight types of analysis models. In addition, analyzed the correlation of structural characteristics and approached the application of discrete event simulation of spatial syntax theory. It is confirmed that the concept of integration of spatial syntax theory and analysis using discrete event simulation are valid as new spatial analysis methodology. Also expect that realistic and concrete predictions will be possible if discrete event simulation evolves into research for space allocation and space efficiency optimization.

On this research. The method of space analysis(Space syntax) is used to investigate the relation between composition and configuration in the houses of four modern architects. Space analysis represent that the houses permutate the morphological properties of depth and rings to embed domestic fuctions within the hoe and to interface household memgers. Two of the house are judged to be well composite but banal: The other appear more inventive in relation compositinal principles to space configuration, to create a measure of subtlety and richness in life style which is lacking in the examples where form is manipulated in the abstract. On this research. It is discoverd that Knowledge of both the internal laws of form and the social logic of space is required to generate the practical conjunction of formal rigour with fuctional ease which we recognise in the houses of architects.

Working spaces in the construction site are much more complicated than completed spaces in the building. There are many researches focus on partition of building spaces. However, few discussed partition sequencing in building construction sites. Space syntax is a set of techniques for analyzing spatial configurations. It has become a useful tool in a variety of researches. Partition sequencing of working spaces should be related to the working direction. However, with convex space and axial line, the partition sequencing became unrelated to the working direction. When critical space is blocked, the partition sequencing with axial line will be changed. It is significant to reveal the impact of the entire spatial structure when some of the working spaces are blocked. This paper discussed the improved partition sequencing theory and highlighted the importance of critical space and analyzed the spatial structure of working space. A real case project was demonstrated in this paper.

방향전환의 횟수를 변인으로 공간구조를 정량적으로 산출하고 분석 할 수 있는 Space Syntax 방법론은 안전한 길, 활기 있는 길 등 연간의 '심리적 거리' 특성을 반영 할 수 있어 기존의 GIS 기반 공간정보 서비스에서의 '물리적 최단 거리'에 기반 한 공간정보 서비스에 교통사고 및 야간의 범죄로부터의 안전성 등을 훨씬 중시하는 결과를 보여줄 수 있다. 이처럼 Space Syntax 방법론을 이용한 방법을 위해 기본적으로 Axial map(축선도)을 구축해 작업하여야 하는데, 실제 축선도를 구현하는데 시간적, 물리적 제한을 많이 갖게 된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 GIS 도로 데이터를 이용하여 축선도를 구현하는데 있어, 선행 사상의 일반화 원리를 이용하여 전통적인 축선도를 구축함에 있어 객관적인 근거를 바탕으로 알아보고, Space Syntax의 주요인자인 전체통합도와 실제 통행량 사이의 상관관계를 통해 결과를 비교하여 본다. 이러한 방법을 통하여 실제 통행량과 $R^2$=0.5387 수준까지의 상관관계의 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.

Applying metric(distance) factor as weighting to spatial syntax is known to not contribute to the explanatory power for the human movement behavior as compared to the geometric(angle) factor according to the negative results of several related studies. However, Kim & Piao (2017) assumed that there is not a problem of the metric factor itself but a problem of the way of applying the metric factor as weighting, and presented a new possibility of the metric factor as weighting by proposing and verifying the methods of applying the metric weighting, which are different from the existing ones. The purpose of this study is to propose advanced methods of applying the metric weighting to space syntax, and to verify whether they contribute to the improvement of explanatory power of space syntax analysis. In this paper, we propose functions for combined depth of distance-step that combine the distance-weighted depth function with the step depth function and apply them to axial segment analysis to check the improvement of explanatory power of them.

도시부 보행네트워크의 보행성 평가를 위해서 Space Syntax Theory(공간구문론)을 반영한 보행모형 구축이 요구된다. 공간구문론은 통합도를 도출하여 보행로의 중심성에 대한 정량적 평가지료를 제공한다. 보행모형은 이동성, 편리성, 안전성의 보행지표로서 보행성을 나타내는 정량적 판단근거를 제시한다. 그러나 보행네트워크에서 공간구문론을 반영하기 위해서는 회전지체 반영을 위한 네트워크구축기법의 검토가 요구된다. 특히 기존의 연구에서 제안된 나무기반 Dial 알고리즘은 회전지체 반영을 위하여 네트워크확장이 요구되었다. 본 연구는 덩굴망기반 Dial 알고리즘과 공간구문론의 통합방안을 제시하였다. 덩굴망기반 Dial 알고리즘은 인접링크의 사이에서 발생하는 회전지체를 포함하는 3단계 수행과정을 수행하므로 네트워크확장의 우회가 가능하다. 따라서 공간구문론의 축노드와 축노드가 만나는 시각교차점에서 회전지체가 발생하는 상황에서도 네트워크의 변형을 최소화하면서 시각거리와 물리거리를 일치시키는 측면에서 덩굴망기반 Dial 알고리즘이 활용이 필요하다. 도시부도로와 같이 보행이 복잡한 권역의 평가를 위해서 활용이 가능함을 향후 연구로 제시하였다. 특히 사례연구를 통해서 제안된 기법의 수행과정을 도출하였다.

University residence halls have become one of the most important issues for students when selecting their academic institutions. However, in South Korea, while universities maintain technologically up-to-date facilities, when it comes to safety or security, the management is unsatisfactory. As a result, the number of violent crime has been increasing. However, there are few researches in terms of practical validity of CPTED Guidelines even though a myriad of researchers study about CPTED Guidelines. Therefore, this study endeavours to investigate the validity of theoretical CPTED Guidelines that to what extent it might be adopted for design process. As a methodology, Space Syntax Convex map and Visibility Graph Analysis (VGA) are chosen. As a result, since the types of space which have a high level of Space Syntax Index are analogous with space treated on CPTED Guidelines, it roughly shows that the theoretical CPTED Guidelines could be adopted in practical architectural design process. Furthermore, it reveals that there is a close relationship between detail design guide stated in CPTED Guidelines and the result of VGA. That is, through the analysis, it is proved that the validity of CPTED Guidelines is quite enough to be adopted in practical design process.

Due to the fact that there are low birth rate and longer life longevity, schools have been shutting down and converted into welfare facilities. However, most of researches about utilizing closed down school are focused on case researches or architectural planning and design. Moreover, majority of existing welfare centers for the aged are not designed with the flow of human traffic in mind, which means there is no consideration of physical or psychological characteristics of elderly people. That fact leads to increasing number of shutting down welfare facilities. Therefore, this thesis will present the necessity of effective space allocation, extension and reconstruction for residents in aged care by analyzing space using index of space syntax with depth-map software.
