  • The saying likely as "In the rapidly-changing outside management environment, the light-weighted body only able to survive" means the 'lightness' in working space, reducing expenditure for immovable property and unnecessary facility, and also means the flexibility of facility which is ready to cope promptly with the approaching situation. For such reason, as many enterprises do not support an individual workstation for each person but by introduction of sharing system, also reducing the area for working space, they have made the immovable property expense per person curtailed. Though the reduction of the immovable property expense that subsequently gained by merely decreasing of working space brings a remarkable effect of retrenchment, there is also a worrying opinion that because of the narrowed working space than before, or by disappearing of private space, a possible non-productive effect which let working enthusiasm falls down might be brought. By practicing such investigating method, at the first stage survey, the Satisfaction of non-territorial and territorial office user and the order of required improvement are figured out, also arranged the appraisal items as 6 factors in total, and all of the factors were being influenced to the entire satisfaction in statistically meaningful level.

  • This paper analyzed the effects of interactions among participants on the satisfaction and commitment of cyber education. Even if the quality of interactions in cyber education may not be so good as that of interactions in face to face education. various kinds of interactions could be introduced in cyber education. An email or Q/A between lecturer and students could be a good way to compensate the deficiency of cyber education. Common News Boards or Discussion Rooms among students themselves are also a powerful means to learn each other in cyber space. The result of this study shows that as interactions among participants increase. satisfaction and commitment of the lecture also increase. This study also analyzed how cyber educational effects differs as interaction type changes in space dimension and time dimension. The result shows interactions in the same cyber space such as News Board brings more desirable outcome than those in the different cyber space. But the effects of interactions classified by time dimension does not show statistically significant differences.

The purpose of this research is to understand the effect that environmental features of the basal space within the school and the operation method have on the students' space use and formation of attachment place within the school. For this, the main activity places, attachment places, school life satisfaction and others were investigated at 2 Japanese credit-based comprehensive high schools, which are different in the physical environmental features of school buildings. Based on this, a quantitative analysis about the distribution of activity places and attachment places was implemented. The space use features for each student attribute were compared, and the school life satisfaction for each type of attachment place formation was analyzed. As a result, the change of the territorial consciousness about the class space according to the implementation of moving optional classes could be understood. And it was confirmed that the students' space using behavior and place evaluation change according to the physical environmental feature of the class space and common space, and that this is affecting the life satisfaction of students.
