In order to provide a scientific foundation for herb application in landscape, the photographs were taken from the herb landscape in urban green space and sightseeing garden. The questionnaire-based survey was also applied to analyze the cognitive situation of herb. Most investigators love herb, but have a low level of herb; Interviewees' consideration of herb function lie in ornamental, healthcare and medical treatment; The bulk of the visitors think herb landscape is insufficient; Investigators' preferences for herb application forms are landscape edging and combining with stone. We also probe into the optimum allocation form combining herb with landscape elements. When we combine herb with landscape water or landscape architecture, artistic conception and reasonable plant allocation should be considered; When we combine herb with landscape path or garden ornament, reasonable plant disposition and appearance and practical collocation should be thought over; When we combine herb with flower-border, richly colored landscape and reasonable plant allocation should be deliberated on.

We intend to illustrate how contemporary architects have conceptualized spaces with words. Language practice is so much important work for the contemporary architects as designing realistic building (material practice) As this point of view we need to interest in theses of architects which contains their unique ideas an characters. The purpose of this study is for understanding how contemporary japanese architects embody through special conception when day design the mixed wooden construction and for looking for the possibility of the development of it. As a result the mixed wooden construction candy understood as an expression form how an architects things about relationship between parts and parts, parts and the whole and the character of materials that consist it and such relationship is determined by the requirement of space.

The attempts in pursuit of humanity in contemporary architecture brought about meaning to the 'Locality as a main conception which opens new potentiality at this confused period. Contemporary housing design should meet the indigenous ‘Locality’ of the building sites environment. An adequate adaptation to the ‘Locality’ will bring more efficient use, lower running-costs, and longer durability of original beauty of the houses. Our contemporary houses should admit general requirements at this time and they should be expressed through not only space but also form and design. Finally, we must find the direction of elevation planning of Korean contemporary houses, inquiring into design elements of ‘Locality’ in the view point of transformation and analyzing how the elements are represented in contemporary houses. This research was aimed to find how to optimize an elevation design of houses in adapting to the Korean indigenous ‘Locality’ in order to create a domestic housing design suitable for Korean life style, however, one cannot ignored elements of the Korean traditional mode of living.

It became new social interest for children to have their own appropriate physical, mental, social environment as one independent identity, In these social atmosphere, new design method and standard of children's residence, education, playing environment which can fill their desire. When home and school are the first places to meet the world and learn, museum and science hall are the representing places to provide education and entertainment, especially to preschoolers, they are the prior education system. it is the most important these science halls to give children potential familiarity of science rather than direct knowledge. Also these places should be stepping stones of the process of intellectual growth as foundation stones for future science education. On this research i will provide a direction to space planning of children's science hall, extended to children' museum studying display producing of playing conception, the necessary element of children's physical, mental, social behavior development process.

The current research field to find near-optimum solutions explores in a small population, which is coined as Micro-Genetic Algorithms (${\mu}$GAs), with some genetic operators. Just as in the Simple-Genetic Algorithms (SGAs), the ${\mu}$GAs work with encoding population and are implemented serially. The major difference between SGAs and ${\mu}$GAs is how to make reproductive plan for more better searching strategy due to the population choice. This paper is conducted to implement ${\mu}$GAs in order to achieve fast searching for more better evolution and associated cost evaluation in global solution space. To achieve this implementation, the Air-Borne Selection (ABS) for a new reproductive plan is developed as new strategic conception for ${\mu}$GAs. In this work, an ER clutch has been constructed and its characteristics have been evaluated by adapting an electro-rheological fluid(ERF) as an operating medium. ER fluids are suspensions which show an abrupt increase in rheological properties under electric fields. An ER clutch system using ER fluid is a new conception device because an apparent viscosity of ER fluid can be changed by apply an electric field. As a first, Bingham properties of ER fluids are experimentally distilled as a function of electric field. We use the disk type ER clutch in which the ER fluid fills the annular space between a pair of coaxial disk electrodes and experiment results show that the measured revolution per minute was increased with the increase of the electric field. The ER fluid used in the present study consists of weight fraction 35% in zeolite suspended silicone oil.

This paper deals with wave propagations in solid state electron plasmas from the view point of treating the plasma as a conducting fluid, and especially consideration is extended to the effect of diffusion on the permittivities and dispersion relations. The analysis is based on the conception of the self-consistent field approximation. It is shown for the cases of the specific physical configurations that the positions of the null elements in the permittivity tensors are not affected by the diffusion terms, and the diffusion effect appears only in the case of the space-charge wave. It is also shown that the magnitude of the real part of wave vector is in proportion to the 3/2nds power of the field in some regions.

This paper provides an investigation of torque transmission system using ERF (Electro-Rheological Fluid). The torque transmission system using ERF is a new conception device because an apparent viscosity of ERF can be changed by applying an electric field, We use the coaxial cylinder type in which the ERF fills the annular space between a pair of coaxial cylindrical electrodes and experiment results show that the measured torque was increased with the increase of the electric field. These are analyzed to provide guidelines to assist in the development of practical ER devices.

Today the social concern about Interior Design gradually requires wide comprehension. Also according to demanders' requirement. Universities cope with speed. Interior Design made by experts for the function and purpose in the conception of decoration. Therefore, Universities we responsible to educate for more capable professional designers. But management is the first concern for Interior Design Company students are going to work at. Interior Design has not the important state yet in Korea, it is hard to manage the company with design alone. As architecture must get admittion, design is apart from construction. but they are worked together in Interior Design. It is true that all the work of construction is Capenters' or technical engineers' work except space design. Of course students are interested in just design not in construction. Students majoring in design need wide understanding of construction not a concept design. but detailed design for construction and proper valuation ability to manage company. I propose component and practical use of nude construction department to understand detailed design.

In this research, we interviewed primary school teachers and students with hypothetical situations questions and got a comprehensive picture of the status quo of what is happening in the new mathematics classrooms of Mainland China, that is, teachers' conceptions of mathematics and their teaching approaches influence the students' conceptions of mathematics to a large extent. For the teacher who emphasizes the precision and rigidity of mathematics, her students focus on the superficial characteristics of mathematics. On the contrary, for the teacher who believes that mathematics is an open process, related to real life and rich in content, her students are more interested in mathematics and have more diverse conceptions.
