병원 간호사의 직장 폭력경험과 이직의도의 관계에서 극복력의 매개작용 (Relationship of Workplace Violence to Turnover Intention in Hospital Nurses: Resilience as a Mediator)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to identify the relationship between workplace violence and turnover intention, and the mediation effect of resilience on the relationship in hospital nurses. Methods: This was a cross-sectional study. A total of 237 registered nurses were recruited from three hospitals in South Korea from April to May 2019. Participants were invited to complete self-reported questionnaires that measure workplace violence, turnover intention, resilience, and demographic information. The data obtained were analyzed using multiple regression and a simple mediation model applying the PROCESS macro with 95% bias-corrected bootstrap confidence interval (5,000 bootstrap resampling). Results: After controlling demographic covariates, workplace violence significantly accounted for the variance of turnover intention. It was also demonstrated that resilience partially mediated the relationship between workplace violence and turnover intention in hospital nurses. A 73.8% of nurses had experienced workplace violence (such as attack on personality, attack on professional status, isolation from work, or direct attack). Conclusion: Workplace violence directly influences turnover intention of nurses and indirectly influences it through resilience. Therefore, hospital administrators need to develop and provide a workplace violence preventive program and resilience enhancement program to decrease nurses' turnover intention, and leaving.

약관을 통한 소비자중재합의와 그 유효성 (Arbitration Agreement through Standardized Terms and its Validity)

  • Recently, there have been discussions about the necessity of consumer arbitration such as ADR. The debate has progressed, because this area of arbitration has expanded into the press and medical fields. However, there is not an act for regulating consumer arbitration in South Korea. Thus, this issue has been deliberated at UNCITRAL Working Group III. The core issue of this deliberation is the validity of consumer arbitration. Especially if a pre-dispute arbitration agreement is contracted online, it progresses by using standardized terms; therefore it is possible that the Standardized Terms Regulating Act judges the relevant terms. This thesis consists of the following: First, concepts and categories of arbitration agreements. These include arbitration agreement, pre-dispute arbitration agreement, and arbitration agreement through standardized terms. Second, the validity of the above agreements will be discussed. There are three positions concerning their validity: affirmative as de lege ferenda, negative, and restrictively negative. Similar discussions concerning German law and cases would be helpful to specify and compare the issue. When a consumer arbitration agreement is contracted through standardized terms, it is necessary that the required formality of the agreement has been satisfied, before the effect of the agreement may be regulated by the German Civil Code.

In Search of Demanded Mediating Role of TAM between Online Review and Behavior Intention for Promoting Golf App Distribution

  • Purpose: The technology acceptance model (TAM) refers to a theory that maps the possibility or extent to which users can accept an innovative technology. The purpose of the current research is to investigate the mediating effect of TAM between online review and behavior intention for promoting golf app's distribution. Research design, data and methodology: In order to examine the relationship between app usage reviews, TAM, and behavioral intentions of golf app participants, the present author collected total 170 responses from South Korean participants based on web-based survey system. The main methodology which was selected by this study is mediation causality analysis that Baron and Kenny suggested. Results: The statistical findings definitely indicated that TAM mediating role exists between the positive emotion of golf app users regarding online reviews and positive behavior intention of golf app, which means that all three steps of mediation causality analysis were statistically significant. Conclusions: The present research concludes that the correct utilization of innovation in the design and implementation of the technology features translates into performance excellence. The model can be used to increase the online presence through innovation as a primary drive toward providing more convenience and accessibility to the users through mobile golf apps.

WHAT IS THE VALUE AND IMPACT OF EARLY DISPUTE EVALUATION IN THE UK AND INTERNATIONALLY?

  • Early neutral evaluation (ENE) is a fairly recent form of alternative dispute resolution procedure used in the construction industry. In the UK, ENE is usually carried out on an entirely without prejudice basis, however the parties may agree that any or part of it may be referred to at trial or any subsequent hearing. The early neutral evaluation consists of a preliminary assessment of the issues in dispute for use as a basis for negotiations which may result in a settlement of the dispute. An independent person is appointed by the parties who reviews the case and provides an opinion, in written form and in some detail, with reasons on the merits of the matters in dispute. The opinion is non-binding but provides the parties with what in the opinion of the independent person a formal tribunal may decide whether a court or an arbitrator, if the dispute is not resolved. However, ENE has yet to take off in the construction industry in the UK. This paper will explain this procedure and explore the use of it in the UK and internationally, considering the benefits and drawbacks of its use. It will consider whether or not it is more effective than other early resolution forms such as mediation and adjudication. It will argue and conclude that it is a very useful cost effective procedure, particularly in the resolution of complex disputes, whether local or international.

그릿이 조직구성원의 웰빙과 자기효능감에 미치는 영향 -종합병원 간호사를 중심으로- (A Study on the Relationship Between Grit and Well-Being with the Mediation Effect of Self-Efficacy: A Case of General Hospital Nurses in South Korea)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 그릿, 웰빙, 자기효능감 간의 관계를 살펴보는데 있다. 그릿은 지속적 관심과 꾸준한 노력의 두 가지 하위차원으로 구성되어 있다. 실증분석을 위해 종합병원 간호사 237명을 대상으로 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 데이터에 가설적 관계를 검증하기 위해 SPSS 26을 활용해 분석하였다. 그릿의 두 가지 하위차원은 웰빙에 정(+)의 영향을 미칠 것을 제안한다. 이에 본 연구는, 그릿의 지속적 관심은 웰빙에 정(+)의 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났으며, 자기효능감은 그릿의 꾸준한 노력과 웰빙 간의 관계에서 완전매개 역할을 하는 것을 확인하였다. 이에 본 연구는 그릿(grit)이 웰빙과 정(+)의 영향을 미치고 자기효능감(self-efficacy)이 그릿과 웰빙을 연결하는 중요한 변인이라는 점이 밝혀졌다. 이에 종합병원 간호사의 그릿과 웰빙의 관계에 대해 보다 면밀히 살펴보는 연구가 필요하다.

An Educational Program against Digital Drama using Artificial Intelligence

  • Cyberbullying and digital drama are on the rise among students. Therefore, this paper proposes an educational program that can enhance students' ability to use artificial intelligence(AI) technology and develop the power to respond to digital drama. In order to understand the effect of the proposed education program, this education was applied on a trial basis to 205 middle school students residing in South Korea. Moreover, the change of coping ability to the digital drama was observed before and after education. After applying for the educational program, the students' empathy(t=-5.506, p<0.001), peer conflict resolution(t=-3.842, p<0.01), and peer mediation(t=-4.213, p<0.001) improved, and did not significantly affect their anger control ability(t=-0.272, p>0.05). The educational program proposed in this paper uses AI to make it more attractive for students familiar with digital devices to participate in education and increase their educational concentration. This paper has its limitations as it is a study only for middle school students in South Korea. However, it is significant that the educational program proposed in this paper prevented the recently increased digital drama and led to a crucial change in coping ability.

유아교사가 지각한 원장의 서번트 리더십과 교수몰입, 행복감 간의 관계 (The Relationship among Director's Servant Leadership Perceived by Early Childhood Teachers, Teaching Flow and Happiness)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effect of teaching flow on the relationship between director's servant leadership and early childhood teachers'happiness. Methods: The subjects in this study were 241 early childhood teachers in Busan and South Gyeongsang Province in South Korea. Three different inventories were utilized. The Servant Leadership Scale, Teaching Flow Scale and Happiness Scale were used. As for data analysis, SPSS & AMOS 21.0 and PROCESS macro were utilized. Results: First, the director's servant leadership, teaching flow and happiness of the teachers were all above average, and there was a significant positive correlation between their total scores of servant leadership, teaching flow and happiness. Second, The teaching flow was found to have a partial mediation effect on the on the relationship between director's servant leadership and happiness of the early childhood teachers. Conclusion/Implications: These results indicate that effort to promote director's servant leadership and teaching flow is needed to promote early childhood teachers'happiness.

Sociodemographic and Health Related Factors Influencing Problem Drinking of the Echo Generation Using Data of the 2018 Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey

  • The aim of this study was to identify factors influencing problem drinking among the Echo Generation in South Korea and provide basic data for early intervention and mediation of problem drinking among the Echo Generation. This descriptive study performed a secondary analysis of raw data from the 2018 Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey and used responses for problem drinking items from 999 Echo Generation participants born between 1979 and 1992. This study comprehensively investigated sociodemographic and health-related factors influencing problem drinking among the Echo Generation. SPSS WIN program (version 26.0) was used for data analysis. Gender (β=-.32, p<.001), education level (β=.10, p=.002), white-collar workers out of job (β=-.09, p=.041), and depression (β=.11, p<.001) were identified as factors that influenced problem drinking among the Echo Generation. Results of this study suggest that in order to prevent problem drinking among the Echo Generation, there should be user-customized prevention education and intervention programs.

중소기업 기혼근로자의 직무스트레스와 직장-가정갈등(WFC)이 이직의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (The Impact of Job Stress and Work-Family Conflict among Married Workers in Small and Medium Sized Enterprises on Turnover Intention)

  • 본 연구는 중소기업 기혼근로자의 직무스트레스와 이직의도의 관계에서 직장-가정갈등(WFC)의 매개효과를 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 2015년 2월부터 3월까지 자기기입식설문을 웹 설문을 통해 비확률 표본추출 가운데 할당추출법으로 표집한 중소기업 기혼근로자 135명이 분석에 이용되었다. 연구결과를 살펴보면, 중소기업 기혼근로자의 직무스트레스는 직장-가정갈등(WFC)과 이직의도에 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 주었다. 이런 직무스트레스는 이직의도에 영향을 줄 때 직접, 간접효과를 가지고 있는 것으로 나타나 직장-가정갈등(WFC)은 직무스트레스와 이직의도의 관계에 있어서 부분매개효과를 나타냈다. 이에 따라 첫째, 직무스트레스와 직장-가정갈등(WFC)으로 인한 이직의도를 줄이기 위한 방안으로서 중소기업맞춤형 심리사회지원 프로그램의 개발 및 도입이 요구되며 둘째, 기업 내 일-가정 양립을 위한 정부의 제도적 지원이 수반될 필요가 있음을 제언하였다.

직업군인 배우자의 성장기 학대경험이 자녀학대에 미치는 영향과 부부갈등의 매개효과 검증 (Influence of Childhood Abuse Experience on Perpetration of Child Abuse among the Military Personnel's Spouses with the Mediation Effect of Family Conflict)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 직업군인 배우자의 성장기 학대피해경험이 자녀학대에 미치는 영향을 파악하고, 성장기 부모로부터의 학대경험이 결혼 후 자녀학대로 이어지는 경로에 있어서 가정폭력피해 경험의 매개경로를 파악하여 자녀학대 가해에 대한 사회복지적 개입 방안을 모색하는데 있다. 이를 위해 2015년 후반기 육군 3개 부대, 해군 2개부대, 공군 2개부대를 선정하여 자발적으로 설문에 응답한 직업군인 배우자를 대상으로 실태 조사한 설문자료를 사용하였으며, 최종분석에는 18세 미만의 자녀를 둔 기혼 직업군인 배우자 238명의 자료를 사용하였다. 분석결과 직업군인 배우자의 자녀학대 가해률의 경우, 정서학대가 51.4%, 신체학대가 28.9%, 방임이 3.8%로 나타났다. 또한 연구모형을 검증한 결과, 직업군인 배우자의 성장기 학대경험과 자녀학대 간에 직접적인 영향관계가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 성장기 학대경험이 부부갈등을 매개로 자녀학대로 이어지는 경로가 유의미한 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 우리나라 직업군인 배우자의 가정 내 불화와 자녀학대를 예방하기 위한 군사회복지적 개입 방안을 제언하고자 한다.
