  • 자기지전류 탐사의 적용에 있어 인공잡음의 영향은 탐사의 승패를 좌우하는 매우 중요한 요소이며 인공잡음의 영향을 최소화할 수 있는 탐사의 설계와 자료처리가 요구되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 수치공간자료들에서 추정되는 인공잡음의 영향과 실제 탐사 자료 간의 상관관계를 살펴봄으로써 자기지전류 탐사에 있어 공간자료의 활용가능성을 고찰하였다. 60Hz 조화파 대역에서는 건물과 도로가 주요한 인공잡음원이며 잡음원의 분포와 자기장의 파워가 서로 상관관계를 가짐을 확인하였다. 'Dead band'로 불리는 0.05-0.5Hz 대역에서는 매우 강한 분극을 가지는 신호가 광범위하게 관찰되고 있으며 이는 탐사지역에 인접한 거대도시의 영향으로 추정된다.

  • Sound intensity method is well known as a visualization technique of sound field and sound propagation in noise control. Sound intensity is a vector quantity that describes the magnitude and the direction of net flow of acoustic energy at a given position. The current measuring method is expensive and difficult to identify the noise source exactly. In this paper, we have studied the noise source identification and the characteristics of noise source of rotary compressor for air conditioner using complex sound intensity method. The new method for instantaneous sound intensity is also proposed and it is useful for transient state and steady state. The criteria of these states select auto correlation coefficient. The advantage, simplicity and economic attribution of this method are verified by analyzing the characteristics of noise source with instantaneous sound intensity compared to mean sound intensity.

RADIO EMISSION FROM AKARI GALAXIES

  • It is a long known fact that there exists a tight correlation between far-infrared and radio emission both for galaxies hosting active galactic nuclei and for star forming galaxies. We probe the radio - infrared correlation for a sample of extragalactic sources constructed by the cross-correlation of the AKARI/IRC All-Sky Survey Point Source Catalogue, the AKARI/FIS All-Sky Survey Bright Source Catalogue, and the NRAO VLA Sky Survey. Additionally, all objects of our sample were identified as galaxies in NED and SIMBAD databases, and a part of them is known to host active galactic nuclei (AGNs). After remeasuring all the fluxes, in order to avoid small aperture effects, we compare the ratio of radio to infrared emission from different types of extragalactic sources, and discuss the FIR/radio correlation as seen by AKARI and make a comparison to the previous results obtained thanks to IRAS.

  • Ultra-Short BaseLine(USBL) 은 센서 간격이 좁은 배열을 사용하기 때문에 위치 추정 성능 향상을 위해서는 정밀한 동기화가 필요하다. 그러나 수중 환경은 비교적 강한 잡음과 다중 경로 및 도플러 등의 수중 음향 채널로 인해 동기화 오류가 발생하여 위치 추정 성능이 저하된다. 본 논문에서는 수중 USBL 시스템의 위치 추정 성능을 향상시키기 위한 공분산 기반 동기 보상 기법을 제안한다. 제안 방법은 상호상관을 통해 신호를 정렬한 후, 정렬된 신호의 공분산을 계산한다. 공분산에서 동기 오차는 위상차와 선형적으로 관련되어 있으므로 위상차를 공분산으로부터 추정하여 동기 오차를 보상한다. 전산 모의실험을 통해 제안 방법이 기존 상호상관 방법보다 우수한 위치 추정 성능을 가지는 것을 보였다.

초등 과학교과서 천문 내용에 대한 예비교사들의 질문의 배경지식 유형과 출처 분석 (An Analysis of Types and Sources of Background Knowledges of Elementary Preservice Teachers' Questions about Astronomy Contents in Elementary Science Text Books)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the relationship between types and sources of background knowledges of elementary preteachers' questions about astronomy contents in the elementary science text books. Data were extracted from the preteachers' classes established in a university of education. The results are as follows. First, right background knowledges of questions were found in about 58% questions, wrong background knowledges 15%, and no background knowledges 26%. Second, it was found that 'school' as a source of background knowledges was found in 29% questions, 'friend' 21%, 'internet' 14%, 'book reading' 12%, 'others' 9%, 'TV' 7%, 'institute' 4%. In case of the type that right background knowledges have casual relation or correlation with question contents, 'book reading' and 'TV' sources rate increased, but 'internet' and 'others' decreased when compared to total questions. In the type which background knowledges are right and did not have casual relation or correlation with question contents, 'internet' source rate increased and 'friend' decreased. In case of the type that wrong background knowledges do not have casual relation or correlation with question contents, 'friend' and 'TV' sources rate increased, but 'school' and 'book reading' decreased. The type which background knowledges are right and did not have casual relation or correlation with question contents, 'internet' source rate increased and 'friend' decreased. In case of the type of no background knowledges, 'TV' and 'institute' source rate increased, but 'internet' and 'book reading' decreased. Third, the questions in 'Earth and Moon' unit have little background knowledges. The questions in 'solar system and stars' have background knowledges with no relation to the questions. Especially, in the unit 'changes of seasons', right background knowledges were found in more than half questions, but the contents of questions and background knowledges were not connected scientifically.

  • The source transfer receiver model ('Source $\times$ Transfer = Response' model) which is widely used by NVH development process of vehicle/transport/machinery to analyze effectively and manage efficiently the structural dynamic behavior is also applicable to construction structure. If the evaluation assessment of the vibration level does not meet the target level, there are two methods, one is source treatment or replacement and the other is the reduction treatment on the transfer structure. In case of source treatment, it is done by source supplier and so, the latter is more practical method to reduce the vibration level. In this study, in order to get the accurate Transfer FE model(floor structure FE model), Experimental modal analysis of part of floor structure and FEM modal analysis of full floor structure are performed, then updating of FE model is performed after correlation analysis between these two results and finally, the modal model and FRF are compared between FE and Experimental results.

해양 정합장처리에서 매개변수 오정합과 바이어스 (Parameter Mismatches and its Biases in Ocean Matched Field Processing)

  • 해양환경에서 정합장처리를 통해 음원위치를 추정할 경우 실측신호의 음장과 복제음장 사이에 각종 매개변수의 오정합이 발생하여 상관값의 저하와 함께 음원 위치추정 결과에 바이어스를 발생시킨다. 본 논문에서는 정합장처리를 이용한 음원 위치추정에서 해양환경 및 시스템 오정합 매개변수로 인한 바이어스와 상관값의 변화 그리고 민감도에 대해서 고찰하였다. 이를 위해 Pekeris 해양 도파관에서 수치실험을 수행하였으며, 그 결과 매개변수 오정합이 음원 위치에서의 바이어스와 상관값의 감소를 발생시켰다. 또한 매개변수 민감도 평가를 통해 배열의 경사와 수심, 해저면 수심과 해저층의 음속이 민감도가 높음을 확인 할 수 있었다.

  • 정준상관분석 (canonical correlation analysis, CCA)은 두 변수집단 사이의 선형 관계를 측정하는 확률적 분석 기법으로 이를 이용하여 다수의 신호가 혼재되어 수신된 신호로부터 각각의 신호원을 분리하는 것이 가능하다. 기존에 CCA와 자기회귀(auto regressive) 기법을 이용하여 혼재된 신호를 분리하는 기법이 제안되었으나 신호원 분리를 효과적으로 수행하기 위해서는 높은 신호 대 잡음비 (signal-to-noise ratio)가 요구되는 문제가 있다. 본 논문에서는 자기회귀 기법의 파라미터 계산시 잡음성분이 포함되어있는 자기공분산 행렬의 주대각 원소를 제거하여 잡음의 영향을 최소화하고 이를 통하여 신호원 분리 성능을 개선하는 방안을 제안한다. 제안하는 기법은 기존에 제안된 CCA와 자기회귀을 이용한 신호 분리 기법에 비하여 더 우수한 신호 분리 성능을 보일 뿐 만 아니라 신호원 분리 과정에서 요구되는 계산량을 줄일 수 있다.

Micro-seismic monitoring in mines based on cross wavelet transform

  • Time Delay of Arrival (TDOA) estimation methods based on correlation function analysis play an important role in the micro-seismic event monitoring. It makes full use of the similarity in the recorded signals that are from the same source. However, those methods are subjected to the noise effect, particularly when the global similarity of the signals is low. This paper proposes a new approach for micro-seismic monitoring based on cross wavelet transform. The cross wavelet transform is utilized to analyse the measured signals under micro-seismic events, and the cross wavelet power spectrum is used to measure the similarity of two signals in a multi-scale dimension and subsequently identify TDOA. The offset time instant associated with the maximum cross wavelet transform spectrum power is identified as TDOA, and then the location of micro-seismic event can be identified. Individual and statistical identification tests are performed with measurement data from an in-field mine. Experimental studies demonstrate that the proposed approach significantly improves the robustness and accuracy of micro-seismic source locating in mines compared to several existing methods, such as the cross-correlation, multi-correlation, STA/LTA and Kurtosis methods.
