The objectives of this study is to develop a strategy for the adoption of BPM(Business Process Management) standards and an implementation guideline of the BPM standard for BPM solution developers focusing on BPEL(Business Process Execution Language) which is regarded as the most important BPM standard. In the heterogeneous and distributed IT environments, every type of enterprise software requires standards to enhance interoperability. BPMS(Business Process Management System), which is a type of enterprise software requires BPM standards such as BPEL(Business Process Execution Language), BPMN(Business Process Modeling and Notation), BPQL(Business Process Query Language) and so on to achieve multi-system interoperability and component interoperability with their BPM solutions. It is quite helpful to provide the adoption strategy concerning BPM standards for each type of BPM solution vendors who need the BPM standards. Since the BPEL is conceived as the most important BPM standard and widely adopted by many BPM vendors, we have proposed a reference architecture for BPEL implementation and also developed the detail implementation guideline of core components of the BPM system supporting the BPEL standard. Using the strategy and implementation guideline proposed in this work, BPM solution vendors can establish their own standard adoption strategy and they can also develop their BPM solutions supporting the BPM standards more efficiently.
There are various ways to manage the patient flow of the hospital outpatient system. However, it is difficult to apply many implementation solutions to the real outpatient system at once. Because first, the expected effects of each different solution are very much depend on the real situation of the system and applied other solutions, and second, owing to the limited resources, each solution should be implemented according to the priority. In order to overcome these difficulties, this paper focuses on proposing the comprehensive subset of implementation solutions, which is one of the most effective among various kinds of subsets, and verifying the effects of it. The comprehensive subset of solutions is derived from conducting design of experiments and simulation which determine the optimum set of different solutions and analyze the particular interactions and priority order among them. This implementation strategy can solve the difficulties of applying different kinds of various solutions to the hospital outpatient system.
A parallel implementation is made of a two-dimensional finite volume model based on the SIMPLER. The solution domain is decomposed into several subdomains and the solution at each subdomain is acquired by parallel use of multiple processors. Communications between processors are accomplished by using the standard MPI and the Cray-specific SHMEM. The parallelization method for the overall solution procedure to the Navier-Stokes equations is described in detail, The parallel implementation is validated on the Cray T3E system for a benchmark problem of natural convection in a sidewall-heated cavity. The parallel performance is assessed and the issues encountered in achieving a high-performance parallel model are elaborated.
This paper discusses a new algorithm, the PAPANET (Pivot And Probe Algorithm for NETwork optimization), for solving linear, capacitated linear network flow problem (NPs), PAPANET is a variation and specialization of the Pivot And Probe Algorithm (PAPA) developed by Sethi and Thompson, published in 1983-1984. PAPANET first solves an initial relaxed NP (RNP) with all the nodes from the original problem and a limited set of arcs (possibly all the artificial and slack arcs). From the arcs not considered in the current relaxation, we PROBE to identify candidate arcs that violate the current solution's dual constraints maximally. Candidate arcs are added to the RNP, and this new RNP is solved to optimality. This candidate pricing procedure and pivoting continue until all the candidate arcs price unfavorably and all of the dual constraints corresponding to the other, so-called noncandidate arcs, are satisfied. The implementation of PAPANET requires significantly fewer arcs and less solution CPU time than is required by the standard network simplex method implementation upon which it is based. Computational tests on randomly generated NPs indicate that our PAPANET implementation requires up to 40-50% fewer pivots and 30-40% less solution CPU time than is required by the comparable standard network simplex implementation from which it is derived.

Device-to-device (D2D) communication is a potential solution to the incessant increase in data traffic on cellular networks. The greatest problem is how to control the interference between D2D users and cellular mobile users, and between D2D users themselves. This paper proposes a solution for this issue by putting the full control privilege in cellular network using the software-defined networking (SDN) concept. A software virtual switch called Open vSwitch and several components are integrated into mobile devices for data forwarding and radio resource mapping, whereas the control functions are executed in the cellular network via a SDN controller. This allows the network to assign radio resources for D2D communication directly, thus reducing interference. This solution also brings out many benefits, including resource efficiency, energy saving, topology flexibility, etc. The advantages and disadvantages of this architecture are analyzed by both a mathematical method and a simple implementation. The result shows that implementation of this solution in the next generation of cellular networks is feasible.

Recently, variety services are more and more developed due to supply of PDA, cellular phone, and etc. Also, a services based on location information are very helpful in traffic, shopping, and emergency. Thus the user position is positively necessary for these services. One of the latest applications in GPS is the E911 call service for wireless phones. In this case, current GPS Navigation accuracy meets the FCC requirements but the hardware size and power consumption of GPS is issued for implementation. And, some case of applications need to snapshot location solution with fast TTFF(Time-To-Fist-Fix) than continuous location solution. The software GPS receiver could be the solution ...
A novel family of controllable, dissipative structure-dependent integration methods is derived from an eigen-based theory, where the concept of the eigenmode can give a solid theoretical basis for the feasibility of this type of integration methods. In fact, the concepts of eigen-decomposition and modal superposition are involved in solving a multiple degree of freedom system. The total solution of a coupled equation of motion consists of each modal solution of the uncoupled equation of motion. Hence, an eigen-dependent integration method is proposed to solve each modal equation of motion and an approximate solution can be yielded via modal superposition with only the first few modes of interest for inertial problems. All the eigen-dependent integration methods combine to form a structure-dependent integration method. Some key assumptions and new techniques are combined to successfully develop this family of integration methods. In addition, this family of integration methods can be either explicitly or implicitly implemented. Except for stability property, both explicit and implicit implementations have almost the same numerical properties. An explicit implementation is more computationally efficient than for an implicit implementation since it can combine unconditional stability and explicit formulation simultaneously. As a result, an explicit implementation is preferred over an implicit implementation. This family of integration methods can have the same numerical properties as those of the WBZ-α method for linear elastic systems. Besides, its stability and accuracy performance for solving nonlinear systems is also almost the same as those of the WBZ-α method. It is evident from numerical experiments that an explicit implementation of this family of integration methods can save many computational efforts when compared to conventional implicit methods, such as the WBZ-α method.
Failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) is a preventive technique in reliability management field. The successful implementation of FMEA technique can avoid or reduce the probability of system failure and achieve good product quality. The FMEA technique had applied in vest scopes which include aerospace, automatic, electronic, mechanic and service industry. The marking process is one of the back ends testing process that is the final process in semiconductor process. The marking process failure can cause bad final product quality and return although is not a primary process. So, how to improve the quality of marking process is one of important production job for semiconductor testing factory. This research firstly implements FMEA technique in laser marking process improvement on semiconductor testing factory and finds out which subsystem has priority failure risk. Secondly, a CCD position solution for priority failure risk subsystem is provided and evaluated. According analysis result, FMEA and CCD position implementation solution for laser marking process improvement can increase yield rate and reduce production cost. Implementation method of this research can provide semiconductor testing factory for reference in laser marking process improvement.
The uncapacitated facility location problem considered here is to determine facility location sites, minimizing the total cost of establishing facilities and serving customer demand points which require primary and back-up services. To solve this problem effectively, we propose two things in this study. First, we propose an idea of Benders' decomposition approach as a solution method of the problem. Second, we implement the problem on GAMS. Using GAMS (general Algebraic Modeling System) can utilize an mixed-integer programming solver such as ZOOM/XMP and provide a completely general automated implementation with a proposed solution method.
