인과지도 분석을 통한 이주가 직업군인의 복무의지에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (Research on the Relationship between Movement and Volition of Soldier's Service Using Causal Loop)

  • The purpose of this paper is to explore the relationship between the number of relocation and volition of soldier's service based on system thinking perspective using a causal loop analysis. Research adopting system dynamics concerning on the volition of soldier's service and relocation has not been studied yet. Causal loops are analyzed and evaluated by focusing on soldier's military performance, stress of family members and family members' welfare service. Result of this study is that soldier's periodical movement is indispensable factor maintaining military life. Most of the married soldier's life conditions are worse than ordinary people. As the number of relocation is increasing family of soldier's stress is increased by anxiety for welfare conditions is supposed to relocate. The number of movement to another place of soldier's children is more than two times and the result of learning achievement is worse than ordinary students. This kind of stress can influence the married soldier's military performance and stress. So the welfare service should be expanded to an official residence, education, facility, district network service and so on.

취사병들의 직무에 대한 인식과 직무만족 영향 요인에 관한 연구 (Study on Awareness and Factors Influencing on Duty of Cooking Soldier)

  • This study aims to help improving the quality of military food service as identifying awareness, attitudes and satisfaction of cooking soldier on their duties and providing basic data to find out alternatives on the basis of identified data. The analysis results are described as follows. For general demographics of subjects, sergeants consisted of the highest percentage of population as 38.8% in terms of the rank. For educational background, the percentage of graduates or college students was 82.5%. For the characteristics of job performance of cooking soldier, those who studied entirely different courses from cookery and became to work as cooking soldier were 92(89.3%) of total subjects. For the question why they became to work as cooking soldier, the response that they didn't know the reason showed the highest percentage as 63.1%. Those who selected cooking soldier because they were interested in cookery were only 25.2%. And 94.2% of the population had no certificates related to cookery. With respect to awareness on training period to carry on duties as cooking soldier, 3 months were selected as the most appropriate period as 36.9%. In accordance with research on job percentage of cooking soldier, 'cleaning and washing' consisted of the highest percentage among ordinary duties as 16.8%, followed by 'cooking' as 12.3% and 'food dispensing' as 11.8%. This study suggests as follows on the basis of the results of this researches. Cooking soldier requires expertise, but the privates with short period of service are discharged from military service when they are accustomed to their duties and become experts. Accordingly, the cooking soldier system could not achieve more than its ordinary performance. Therefore, it is required to post non-commissioned officers who can serve for a long time as the special resources.

Oviposition site preference in Black Soldier Fly, Hermetia illucens (Diptera: Stratiomyidae), in Artificial Rearing System

  • In natural conditions, the black soldier fly, Hermetia illucens (L.) (Diptera: Stratiomyidae), colonizes in warm temperate regions, and is active in Korea from May through October. Information on black soldier fly rearing, which is affected by seasonal factors in Korea, is limited. This species colonizes and oviposits in a wide variety of decomposing vegetable and animal matter. For mass rearing of black soldier flies, the egg deposition methods are dependent on sunlight and oviposition sites. In this study, we investigated the substrates and oviposition sites preferred by black soldier fly in artificial rearing system. Our results showed that as black soldier flies prefer mating under sunlight, they prefer ovipositing at sites where adequate sunlight and food substrate are available. Further detailed research is required to develop methods for artificially rearing black soldier fly throughout the year in Korea.

여군 인사운영시스템에 관한 연구 (The Study on the Woman Soldier Human Affairs Operation Systems.)

  • 여군인력은 2014년 육군의 포병, 방공 등 그동안 허용되지 않았던 전투병과를 여군에게 개방했다. 2015년 1만 명을 넘어섰으며 2017년 장교 4450명, 부사관 6374명으로 확대할 계획에 있다. 해군은 2017년부터 잠수함에 승선할 여군 장교를 선발해 3000t급 이상 잠수함에 승선시킬 방침이다. 그러나 정책의 결정에 따라 여군이 증가하였음에도 이에 대한 제도적 보완은 미흡한 상태이다. 따라서 여군의 역할이 확대되고 미래전 양상에 부합된 여군운용에 대한 발전적인 제도가 뒷받침되어야 할 시기가 되었으며, 여군의 선발과 인력 확대에 대한 보직순환과 관리 등 명확한 기준이 요구되고 있다. 여군과 남군이 차이가 있음에도 남군과 동일한 기준으로 적용하고 있는 현재 규정을 보완하고 현상을 분석하여 여군인사운영에 대해 발전적인 방안이 제시되어야 할 것이다.

군 생활스트레스가 병사의 군 적응에 미치는 영향 : 자아탄력성의 조절효과를 중심으로 (Moderating Effects of Ego-resilience on the Relationship between Military Life Stress and Military Adjustment of Soldiers)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 병사의 군 생활스트레스가 군 적응에 미치는 영향 관계에서 자아탄력성이 조절효과를 가지는지를 실증하는 것이다. 이를 위해 영남지방에 소재하는 육군 ${\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}$사단 병사 321명을 대상으로 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 인구사회학적 변인인 계급과 학력은 병사의 군 적응에 유의한 변수가 아닌 것으로 분석되었으며, 군 생활스트레스가 병사의 군 적응에 미치는 영향력은 상대적으로 매우 우세한 것으로 파악되었다. 자아탄력성 또한 병사의 군 적응에 정적영향(+)을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 병사의 자아탄력성은 군 생활스트레스와 군 적응 간의 관계에서 조절효과를 가지는 것으로 입증되었다. 본 연구는 병사의 군 적응력 향상을 위해서는 군과 관련한 환경적 요인 못지 않게 병사의 개인 내적요인에 대한 관심 역시 중요하다는 것을 증명하고 있다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 연구의 함의를 논의 하였으며, 추후 연구과제와 연구의 한계를 논의하였다.

상하간 교환관계의 질의 영향요인과 결과에 관한 실증연구 : 육군 소대장과 소대원을 대상으로 (An Empirical Study on the Antecedents and Outcomes of Leader-Member Exchange Quality in the Korean Army Platoons)

  • This study examined the antecedents and outcomes of leader-member exchange (LMX) quality in the Korean Army platoons. Although a number of studies have devoted substantial attention to the application of the LMX theory in various organizational settings, there has been no effort to verify or to apply the model to a military situation. In this paper, we tried to build an integrative LMX model to apply to the Korean army. We developed, on the basis of literature review, an integrative framework describing the factors affecting the LMX quality, LMX quality outcomes and the moderators of LMX quality-outcomes. Then we collected data from the 404 lieutenant-soldier dyads. The analysis of the data showed that 1) interpersonal variables (perceived similarity and liking of soldier) and LMX quality were significantly related, 2) LMX quality and outcome variables(soldier's performance, job satisfaction, and morale) were significantly related, and 3) the relationship between LMX quality and soldier's performance were strongly significant when task challenge is high but nonsignificant when task challenge is low, while there were nonsignificant or weekly significant relationships between LMX quality and soldier's performance when task challenge is moderate. The results are basically coinciding with the previous research, except that, with the low challenge tasks, the LMX quality did not affect soldier's performance, which seems to be due to the directive leadership style of the lieutenants. The theoretical and practical implications and future research directions are discussed.

Seasonal Pupation, Adult Emergence and Mating of Black Soldier Fly, Hermetia illucens (Diptera: Stratiomyidae) in Artificial Rearing System

  • The black soldier fly, Hermetia illucens, has a worldwide distribution in the tropics and warm temperate regions and is active in the Korea from May through October. This species colonize a wide variety of decomposing vegetable and animal matter and oviposits in a variety of decomposing materials. In this study, how the black soldier fly pupation, adult emergence and mating rate changed with season at the artificial rearing system was investigated. The black soldier fly larvae and pupae were reared under laboratory condition ($27^{\circ}C$, 60% R.H.). In this study, under the laboratory condition, pupation and adult emergence were not influenced by season, but the data shows definitely different mating numbers throughout whole year. The time of the day is changed with seasons and it influence to mating on artificial rearing. To culture the black soldier fly throughout the year in Korea needs a more deep study under the artificial rearing system.

  • Most studies of the black soldier fly, Hermitia illucens, widely distributed throughout Southeast Asia and America focused on the use of larvae for recycling various organic materials and feed for fish and livestock. To recognize the instars of the soldier fly's larvae, we examined the number of exuviae originated from each larva from 1st instar to pupa. The weight and the head capsule width of the black soldier fly larvae also confirmed that the black soldier fly was passed through 6th instars. In addition, we found that the black soldier fly larvae had a well developed mandibular-maxillary complex, similar to those reported from the larvae of scavengers including Odontomyia cincta, Neopachygaster maculicornis, Ptecticus brunettii and Stratiomys ruficornis.

  • The aim of this study is to develop a model of layering system for future soldier system. Future soldier has been supposed to carry various digital devices embedded into the combat uniform. The combat uniform must be developed to be fit to soldier's body and movement, and can be felt comfortable to soldier. The Uniform must be studied in ergonomic and physiological component because it is different from the present one. It has many devices inside, so there are some unknown barriers to set the devices on to the body. For making the ergonomic aspect of future combat suits clear, the movement of the body was researched. The size of arms(3 parts), torsos(4 parts), and legs(3 parts) of people were measured by movement. Many dots were drawn on the testees' bodies every 3cm. Each time they made compulsory poses, the distances between dots be measured and analyzed. For making the physiological aspect of future combat suits clear, the thermo-map and sweating map of body were made. The 3 maps - movement, thermo and sweating- were overlapped. The devices for future soldier were arranged on the overlapped map considering relations between devices. The final layering system developed on the arrangement of devices.

아메리카동애등에(Hermetia illucens) 추출물의 항산화 활성 (Antioxidant activities of black soldier fly, Hermetia illucens)

  • 최근 곤충자원을 이용하여 식약용 및 사료로 활용하기 위한 많은 연구가 진행되고 있으며 미래의 자원으로 발전할 수 있는 가능성이 충분하다고 본다. 특히, 대량으로 생산이 용이하고 유충과 번데기의 조단백질 및 무기물 함량이 우수한 아메리카동애등에는 양계 및 양어사료의 원료로써 사용 가능성이 높게 평가되고 있다. 본 연구는 아메리카동애등에의 유충 및 번데기의 항산화 활성을 비교 평가하였다. 아메리카동애등에 번데기의 물 추출물의 경우 DPPH 라디칼 소거능이 $147.8{\pm}1.6%$로 양성 대조군으로 사용된 Vitamin C(5 mg/mL)의 $109.0{\pm}0.15%$와 메뚜기의 $109.5{\pm}28%$ 보다 높은 활성을 나타내었다. FRAP을 통한 환원력 측정에서도 DPPH 결과와 마찬가지로 아메리카동애등에 번데기의 물 추출물에서 가장 높은 환원력을 나타내었다. 위의 결과로 보아, 아메리카동애등에 유충 및 번데기의 추출물은 라디칼 소거능 및 산화환원작용을 통하여 항산화 활성을 가지는 것으로 사료되며, 특히 번데기의 추출물은 천연 항산화 소재로서의 활용가능성이 높은 것으로 기대되었다. 추후 추출물의 산업적인 활용가능성을 보다 명확히 확인하기 위하여 보다 많은 연구가 필요할 것으로 본다.
