실효온도차법에 의한 최대열부하계산용 일사 대기투과율 (The Solar Atmospheric Transmittance Data for Peak Cooling Load Calculation using ETD Method)

  • A simplified TAC method was developed for the selection of solar atmospheric transmittance data fundamental to the calculation of design solar radiation for the peak cooling load calculation using ETD method. The summer and autumn solar atmospheric transmittance data of the 11 major cities in Korea were obtained. Based on the simplified TAC method, the atmospheric transmittance data were selected by the TAC 2.5% of July instead of the TAC 2.5% of June through September for summer and the TAC 5.0% of October instead of the TAC 2.5% of October and November for autumn. Results show that the atmospheric transmittance data at solar noon were in the range of 0.61-0.66 for summer and 0.78-0.82 for autumn except for Pusan and Incheon.

이중외피에서 창문 개폐 및 블라인드 설치에 따른 하절기 실내 열환경 특성 변화 실험 연구 (An Experimental Study on Indoor Thermal Characteristics in accordance with the Use of Windows and Blinds in Double Skin Facade in Summer)

  • This paper is focused on the effect of indoor temperature rise according to the use of windows and blinds in double skin facade in summer. For the experiment, we set up the mock-up of double skin facede and measuring temperature and solar radiation. Total 7 cases were used for measuring solar transmittance and indoor temperature rise. When the venetian blind was not installed, solar transmittance was 44.5%, and solar transmittance for the case that installed the venetian blind (angle 0) was 22.5%. Cases that opened inner and outdoor windows for ventilation showed lower indoor temperature rise than cases with closed windows. In addition, Case 5 (opened inner and outdoor windows with the venetian blind (angle 0) to reduce solar transmittance) indicated lower indoor temperature rise than Case 3(opened inner and outdoor windows). Consequently, Case 5 which uses inner and outdoor window for ventilation and venetian blind to reduce solar transmittance is the most effective way to reduce indoor temperature rise among all cases tested in this research.

  • In general, glass has proven to be an effective glazing material, exhibiting extended service lifetime and high solar transmittance while remaining opaque to long wave thermal reradiation. Plastics, which possess higher solar transmittance than commercial glass, are lightweight and also cost competitive with glass. In this paper a survey of various glazing materials is presented, and the comparative analysis of their properties are perform ed in detail with special emphasis on double glazing materials, which can be adaptable to various passive solar systems.

  • Accurate solar radiation data are fundamental to the design of HVAC systems and solar driven devices. Unfortunately, the total radiation data on a horizontal surface has been only reported by meteorological office. Consequently, there is interest in development of model to estimate the solar radiation data. Based on the statistically estimated TAC data which were obtained from measured hourly values collected over a period of ten years at Seoul, the solar radiation model was determined. Atmospheric transmittance for this model was presented in the form of polynominal.

기상조건에 따른 온실의 전천일사량 및 광합성유효광량자속의 상관관계 및 투과율 (Relationship between Total Solar Radiation and PPF, and Transmittance in Greenhouse at Different Weather Conditions)

  • 온실의 경우 구조재가 광투과율에 많은 영향을 주기 때문에 기상조건에 따라 달라지는 산란광과 직달광의 비율에 따라 투과율이 달라질 수 있다 따라서 기상조건에 따른 온실내부의 광투과율을 구명할 필요가있다. 전천일사량은 기상청에서 제공하는 기상자료에서 쉽게 얻을 수가 있는 반면에 광합성유효광량자속의 자료는 직접 측정하지 않고는 구하기가 어렵다. 그러나 전천일사량과 광합성유효광량자속의 상관관계가 얻어지면 전천일사량으로부터 광합성유효광량자속을 쉽게 구할 수가 있을 것이다. 따라서 우리나라 온실에 대하여 기상조건에 따라 광합성유효광양자속을 산정할 수 있는 상관식의 개발이 필요하다. 본 연구는 실험을 통하여 온실의 수관부에서의 기상조건에 따른 광합성유효광량자속의 투과율을 산정하고 전천일사와 광합성 유효광량자속과의 상관관계를 구명하기 위하여 수행되었다. 산란광이 많은 흐린 날과 직달광이 많은 맑은날의 투과율 변화는 상당한 차이가 있음을 확인할 수 있었으며, 온실의 투과율은 기상조건에 따라 다르게 적용되어야 할 것으로 판단되었다. 온실의 전천일사량 투과율을 광합성유효광량자속의 투과량을 산정하는데 그대로 이용할 수 있을 것으로 분석되었다. 비록 맑은 날에 비하여 흐린 날의 상관도는 낮지만 상관식의 기울기는 큰 것으로 나타나 운량의 증가와 더불어 전천일사량 중에서 광합성유효광량자속의 비율이 증가하는 것을 확인 할 수 있었다. 시간당 광합성유효광량자속과 전천일사량의 상관식을 유도하였으며, 이러한 상관식을 이용한다면 시간당 전천일사량을 이용하여 시간당 광합성유효광량자속을 추정하는데 적절히 이용할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

Transmittance and work function enhancement of RF magnetron sputtered ITO:Zr films for amorphous/crystalline silicon heterojunction solar cell

  • Recently, TCO films with low carrier concentration, high mobility and high work function are proposed beneficial as front electrode in HIT solar cell due to free-carrier absorption in NIR wavelength region and low Schottky barrier height in the front TCO/a-Si:H(p) interface. We report high transmittance and work function zirconium-doped indium tin oxide (ITO:Zr) films with various plasma (Ar/O2 and Ar) conditions. The role of (Ar/O2) plasma was to enhance the work function of the ITO:Zr films whereas the pure Ar plasma based ITO:Zr showed good electrical properties. The RF magnetron sputtered ITO:Zr films with low resistivity and high transmittance were employed as front electrode in HIT solar cells, yield the best performance of 18.15% with an open-circuit voltage of 710 eV and current density of 34.63 mA/cm2. The high work function ITO:Zr films can be used to modify the front barrier height of HIT solar cell.

  • Generally, photovoltaic modules consist of glass, EVA, Solar Cell, back sheet and ribbon. But EVA, solar cell, ribbon affect electric output with temperature. EVA is a change in the transmittance of light from the sun. In addition, the solar cell output is decreased with temperature and the ribbon increases resistance. Transmittance and reflectance of glass and EVA were measured. In this paper, the characteristics of the components of PV module as EVA and Glass, ribbon were studied by variable temperature. effects on material properties investigated. As a result, glass is independent in temperature variation. EVA was the reduction 1~4% in transmittance. Solar cell decrease 0.469[%/$^{\circ}C$] in electric output by temperature variation.   • This work reports the surface morphology and transmittance of copper oxide thin films for semitransparent solar cell applications. We prepared the oxide specimens by subjecting copper thin films to an oxidation reaction at annealing temperatures ranging between $100^{\circ}C$ and $300^{\circ}C$. The color of the as-deposited specimen was red, but changed to purple at the annealing temperature of $300^{\circ}C$. The surface morphology and transmittance of the specimens were significantly dependent on the annealing temperature and thickness of the copper films. Copper oxide nanoparticles prepared from a 20-nm-thick copper film at an annealing temperature of $300^{\circ}C$ provided a maximum transmittance of 93%. The obtained optical characteristics and surface morphology suggest that copper oxide thin films prepared by an oxidation reaction can be potentially employed as color- and transmittance-adjusting layer in semitransparent thin solar cells.

에너지성능분석 및 감성평가에 의한 오피스 창호의 적정 투과율 선정 (Optimal Windows Transmittance by Energy Performance Analysis and Subjective Evaluation in office building)

  • The purpose of this study is to select the optimal transmittance rate of windows in office buildings through subjective evaluation and energy performance analysis(computer simulation program ; DOE 2.1E). The results are as follows ; 1) In the subjective evaluation experiment, minimum transmittance of the glass is GE 30% and LT 70%, but the optimal transmittance rate is concluded in $40%\sim60%$. 2) As a result of the energy performance analysis, it is desirable for the building of consumptive with mainly air-conditioning to make transmittance as 40-60%. 3) Comparing foreign study on minimum and optimal transmittance rate is $25%\sim38%$, the minimum transmittance of this study is almost the same. But for the optimal transmittance rate, 20% more is needed for KOREAN.
