Sol-Gel 법을 이용한 PLT(28) 박막의 제작과 특성 (Preparation and Characteristics of PLT(28) Thin Film Using Sol-Gel Method)

  • $Pb_{0.72}La_{0.28}TiO_3$ (PLT(28)) 박막을 sol-gel 법을 이용하여 제작한 후, 그 특성을 조사하여 ULSI DRAM 의 캐패시터 절연막으로서의 적용 가능성을 연구하였다. Sol-gel 법의 출발 물질로는 acetate계를 사용하였다. TGA-DTA 분석을 통하여 PLT(28) 박막의 sol-gel 법에 의한 공정 조건을 확립하였다. 매 coating 후 350$^{\circ}C$에서 drying 하고, 마지막으로 650$^{\circ}C$에서 annealing 하여 100% perovskite 구조를 가지는 치밀하고 crack 이 없는 PLT(28) 박막을 얻었다. Pt/Ti/SiO$_2$/Si 기판 위에 PLT(28) 박막을 형성하여 전기적 특성을 측정하였다. 그 결과 유전 상수와 누설전류밀도가 각각 936 과 1.1${\mu}$A/cm$^2$ 으로 측정되었다.

  • TiO2-SiO2 system anti-reflective(AR) film was prepared to decrease reflectance on the glass surface. The experiments were carried out as fellow, 1) preparation & hydrolysis of TiO2-SiO2 system sols. 2) glass dipping, and 3) drying & heat treatment. We investigated the refractive index and thickness of film with viscosity, zeta-potential of sol, sol concentration, withdrawal speed, drying and heat treatment condition. As a result, we prepared good qualitative Quarter-Half-Quarter type anti-reflective film that had minimum, 0.02% and average reflectance, 0.087% in the visible region.

졸겔법에 의한 알루미나 박막의 제조 및 특성 (III) 저반사 코팅유리의 제조 (Preparation and Characterization of Alumina Thin Film by Sol-Gel Method (III) Preparation of Anti-Reflective Coating Glass)

  • The coating condition of reproducible anti-reflective coating film and the light transmittance characteristics of the prepared anti-reflective coating glass were investigated as a study for the preparation of single-layer anti-reflective coating glasss. In case of coating with the sol in which the solvent was substituted with the ethanol with the addition of 0.1 mol HNO3, the coated glass showed the minimum value of the refractive index of 1.464, light transmittance of 94.2% at 550nm standard wavelength which is 3.2% higher than that of the parent glass, and the reflectance in the entire wave range of visible light. The refractive index represented its minimum at the sol concentration of 1.0 mol per 100mols of water and the higher the sol concentration, the higher the refractive index, resulting in the decrease of the light transmitance. The production condition of the reproducible anti-reflective coating on glass with the maximum transmittance of 94.2% was 4cm/min of withdrawal speed, 40$0^{\circ}C$ and 1 hour of heat treatment temperature and time, resulting in the film thickness of 94nm.

  • 졸-겔 기술에 의해 $WO_3$ 다충박막이 유리와 ITO coated glass 위에 증착되었다. 특성은 XRD, 분광광도계, DTA/TGA, SEM/EDAX 그리고 RBS에 의해서 분석되었다. 균질한 $WO_3$막은 유리기판위에 dipping속도 5mm/s에서 증착 되었으며 이 시료는 희석된 HCI 전해액을 사용하여 착색시킨 결과 낮은 근적외선 투과율을 나타내었다. DTA 결과 $380^{\circ}C{\sim}500^{\circ}C$ 범위의 gel data는 $WO_3$의 결정화 온도 형성을 결정하였으며 이 측정치는 졸-겔 박막의 결정화 온도와 일치하였다. RBS에 의해 착색되지 않은 $WO_3$ 졸-겔 막의 화학조성은 $WO_3$였다.

  • 본 연구에서는 이트륨과 유로퓸 질산수용액으로부터 솔-젤 및 연소공정에 의한 적색 형광체를 제조함에 있어, 솔-젤반응의 고찰을 통한 반응메카니즘을 해석하고, 제조된 적색형광체의 특성을 알아보고자 하였다. 무정형 구연산염 솔-젤 반응은 반응 초기에 킬레이트화 반응과 가수분해 반응이 완료되었으며, 가수분해의 진행에 따라 축합중합반응은 유기산 형성 축합중합 보다는 물 형성 축합중합반응이 더 우세하였다. 솔-젤 반응의 진행을 위해서는 이트륨(유로퓸 포함)과 젤화 작용제인 구연산 몰 비는 1 : 2 이상이 필요하였다. 솔-젤과 건조과정을 거쳐 얻은 젤 분말의 열분석 결과 형광체를 얻기 위한 소성온도는 $700^{\circ}C$ 이상이 되어야 하며, 젤 분말의 소성 시 소성온도가 증가함에 따라 생성되는 형광체의 결정도가 향상되었으며, 결정립 크기가 증가하였다. 제조된 형광체의 발광특성 분석 결과, 출발용액 내 금속이온(이트륨 및 유로퓸)의 농도, 그리고 소성온도가 증가할수록 발광세기가 증가하였다.

유리기판에 sol-gel법으로 제조된 나노입자 Co-ferrite 박막의 특성 (Nanoparticulate Co-Ferrite Thin Films on Glass Substrate Prepared by Sol-Gel Method)

  • Cobalt ferrite thin films on Corming glass substrate were fabricated by a sol-gel method. Cobalt ferrite thin films with the grain size of 20-35 nm and thickness of 50nm were obtained. Rapid thermal annealing (RTA) and Annealing processes were adopted for comparison of characteristics of the films. Coercivity values were changed with thermal condition and magnetization values were increased as a function of soaking time. With prolonged soaking time, however, it was decreased because of the diffusion of cations from the glass substrate. The RTA process in preparation of cobalt ferrite thin film was the effective way to prevent and to form a single spinel phase in reduced soaking time. The film heated at 600$^{\circ}C$ for 30 minutes by RTA had coercivity of 2,600 Oe, saturation magnetization 460 emu/㎤, and Mr$.$$\delta$ of 1.43 memu/$\textrm{cm}^2$.

졸-겔법에 의한 $\gamma-LiAlO_2$ 단섬유의 제조 (Preparation of $\gamma-LiAlO_2$ Short Fibers by the Sol-Gel Method)

  • Discontinuous ${\gamma}$-LiAlO2 fibers for fiber-reinforcing MCFC matrixes have been produced by the sol-gel process using the centrifugal spinning apparatus of the Rotary type. Gel fibers could be obtained through spinning of stable LiAlO2 complex polymetric sols under the optimum spinning conditions (hollow-disc rotating velocity 9000 rpm sol feeding rate of 4ml/min flowing N2 temperature of 4$0^{\circ}C$ and flowing N2 pressure of 4 bar). It was found that defect free and densified ${\gamma}$-LiAlO2 fibers with the relative density of 98% and the mean diameter of 4.7${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ were prepared when the spinned fibers were heat-treated to 100$0^{\circ}C$ on the specified heating schedule. in particular the mean diameter and length of fibers could be controlled by the pressure of flowing N2 and the chopping-sieving method respectively.

Comparative Study and Electrochemical Properties of LiFePO4F Synthesized by Different Routes

  • To improve the performance of $LiFePO_4F$, a novel sol-gel process is developed. For comparison, ceramic process is also implemented. From X-ray diffraction results we know that each sample adopts a triclinic $P{\bar{1}}$ space group, and they are isostructural with amblygonite and tavorite. The scanning electron microscope images show that the homogeneous grains with the dimension of 300-500 nm is obtained by the sol-gel process; meanwhile the sample particles obtained by ceramic process are as big as 1000-3000 nm. By galvanostatic tests and at electrochemical impedance spectroscopy method, the sample obtained by sol-gel process presents better electrochemical properties than the one obtained by ceramic process.

  • New methods were developed to prepare silver-doped sol-gel films for surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) applications. First, silver ions were doped into a sol-gel matrix. The doped silver ions were reduced into corresponding silver metal particles by two reductive procedures; chemical reduction and thermal reduction. The SERS spectra of benzoic acid were used to demonstrate the SERS effect of the new substrates. The adsorption strength of benzoic acid adsorbed on differently reduced substrates was discussed. The possible adsorption form and the orientation of adsorbate were also discussed.
