MOOS-IvP를 이용한 무인잠수정 제어기 개발의 효용성 (The Effectiveness of MOOS-IvP based Design of Control System for Unmanned Underwater Vehicles)

  • This paper demonstrates the benefit of using MOOS-IvP in the development of control system for Unmanned Underwater Vehicles(UUV). The demand for autonomy in UUVs has significantly increased due to the complexity in missions to be performed. Furthermore, the increased number of sensors and actuators that are interconnected through a network has introduced a need for a middleware platform for UUVs. In this context, MOOS-IvP, which is an open source software architecture, has been developed by several researchers from MIT, Oxford University, and NUWC. The MOOS software is a communication middleware based on the publish-subscribe architecture allowing each application to communicate through a MOOS database. The IvP Helm, which is one of the MOOS modules, publishes vehicle commands using multi-objective optimization in order to implement autonomous decision making. This paper explores the benefit of MOOS-IvP in the development of control software for UUVs by using a case study with an auto depth control system based on self-organizing fuzzy logic control. The simulation results show that the design and verification of UUV control software based on MOOS-IvP can be carried out quickly and efficiently thanks to the reuse of source codes, modular-based architecture, and the high level of scalability.

Open Source Remote Sensing of ORFEO Toolbox and Its Connection to Database of PostGIS with NIX File Importing

  • In recent, interests regarding open source software for geo-spatial processing are increasing. Open source remote sensing (OSRS) is regarded as one of the progressing and advanced fields in remote sensing. Nevertheless, analyses or application cases regarding OSRS are not enough for general uses or references. In this study, three kinds of OSRS software in consideration of international popularity, types of functionalities, and development environments are taken into account: OSSIM, Opticks, and ORFEO Toolbox (OTB). First, functional comparison with respect to these is carried out on the level of the preliminary survey. According to this investigation, OTB is chosen as the most applicable OSRS software in this study. Running on OTB, NIX format importing module and database connecting module are implemented for widely general uses and further application. As for an example case, airborne image of NIX format is used to region growing segmentation algorithm in OTB, and then the results are stored and retrieved in PostGIS database to test implemented modules. Conclusively, local customization and algorithm development using OSRS software are necessary to build on-demand applications from the developers' viewpoint.

인터넷 영양전산 프로그램의 현황과 요구도에 대한 조사연구 (A Study on the Current Situation and Needs for the Internet Program of the Nutrition Computing)

  • This study was reviewed databases and outcomes of national/international off-line and on-line(Internet) nutrition softwares to identify the present conditions of nutrition softwares, and investigated user's needs and determine which component should be included in nutrition software. The most frequently used databases for the national programs were the food composition table provided from the National Rural Living Science Institution in Rural Development Administration and the food composition table and the nutrient contents of foods provided from the Korean Nutrition Society. For international programs, the food composition table from the USDA was commonly used. The analysed outcomes included the degree of obesity, nutrient analysis and nutrient intake compared with RDA, food intake from each by food group, food habits and the frequency of food consumption. As to the result of needs assessment for the Internet nutrition softwares, it was suggested that the needs of the Internet nutrition softwares were high because most of the respondents replied that 3-point('it is needed') or 4-point('it is necessary') on 4-points likert scale. As to the databases, the needs of 'food composition analysis' and 'the suggestion of the Korean RDA' were high. For the basic information for foods, the respondents replied that 'the classification of foods', 'foods codes', 'the amount of ingredients' and 'nutrient analysis' should be included. The needs of 'nutrient analysis of meal', 'diet therapy' and 'meal plan by caloric requirements' were high. As for utilizing the Internet meal planning programs, the respondents replied that 'it should be easy to use' most and demand for 'data saving and the saved data should be usable later' and 'meal planning education tools' were high. In conclusion, the Internet nutrition software that satisfies various needs of users should be developed for policy making that promote public health, nutritional care and self-supporting of foods.

클라이언트관점의 SaaS 사용 흔적 분석 (The Trace Analysis of SaaS from a Client's Perspective)

  • 최근 초고속 통신망의 발달과 클라우드 컴퓨팅 기술을 활용한 온 디멘드(On-demand)형 소프트웨어 SaaS(Software as a Service)의 사용이 크게 증가하고 있다. 하지만 이러한 클라우드 컴퓨팅 환경에 대한 디지털 포렌식은 현재 학문적, 실용적 체계화 수준이 미비한 실정이다. 또한 클라우드 환경의 특성상 사용자 행위에 의한 데이터가 로컬 시스템에 거의 남지 않고, 원격지 서버에 분산 저장되기 때문에 디지털 포렌식 조사관점에서 많은 어려움이 따른다. SaaS는 기본적으로 웹을 통해 접속하는 서비스 형태이기 때문에, 클라이언트관점에서 History files, Cookie files, Temporary Internet Files, 물리메모리 등의 분석이 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 현재 널리 쓰이는 SaaS를 선정하여, 클라우드 컴퓨팅 서비스 타입 중 하나인 SaaS 사용 흔적 분석 방안을 제시한다.

PMS: 모바일 임베디드 시스템의 소프트웨어 스트리밍 서비스를 위한 확률 기반 다중 접근 블록 선인출 알고리즘 (PMS: Probability-based Multi Successor Prefetch Algorithm for Software Streaming Services of Mobile Embedded Devices)

  • 최근 PDA의 대중화, 텔레메틱스 산업의 발전에 따라 제한된 저장장치를 갖는 모바일 임베디드 시스템에서 PC와 같은 다양한 소프트웨어를 사용하고자하는 수요가 늘어나고 있다. 그에 따라 소프트웨어 스트리밍 서비스의 필요성이 증가하고 있으나 소프트웨어를 속도가 느린 무선 네트워크를 통해 블록단위로 전송받아 실행속도가 느린 문제점이 있다. 그리하여 이를 보완해주는 선인출 알고리즘이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 기존에 연구된 선인출 알고리즘인 최근 접근 블록 알고리즘(LS)과 PPM 기반 알고리즘을 소프트웨어 스트리밍 서비스에 적용시켜 성능을 측정하고 분석한 결과를 토대로 고안된 확률 기반 다중 접근 블록(PMS) 알고리즘을 제안한다. LS의 적중률은 60%정도로 낮지만 메모리 사용량이 적다. 그에 반해 PPM 기반 알고리즘은 메모리 사용량은 많지만 96%이상의 높은 적중률을 보인다. PMS는 블록 단위의 소프트웨어 스트리밍 서비스의 특징과 PPM 기반 알고리즘의 특성을 이용하여 LS의 단점을 보완해 N개의 접근 블록을 확률을 기반으로 저장하고 선인출에 이용한다. 이러한 PMS는 보다 적은 공간오버헤드를 가지면서 PPM 기반 알고리즘과 비슷한 적중률을 나타내 높은 메모리 효율을 나타낸다.

  • Business forecasting is vital to the success of business. There has been an increasing demand for building business forecasting software system to assist human being to do forecasting. However, the uncertain and complex nature makes is a challenging work to analyze, design and implement software solutions for business forecasting. Traditional forecasting systems in which their models are trained based on small collection of historical data could not meet such challenges at the information explosion over the Internet. This paper presents an agent oriented business forecasting approach for building intelligent business forecasting software systems with high reusability. Although agents have been applied successfully to many application domains. little work has been reported to use the emerging agent oriented technology of this paper is that it explores how agent can be used to help human to manage various business forecasting processes in the whole business forecasting life cycle.

A Wireless Location-Based Routing Algorithm in Multi-User Game Environments

  • In this paper, we propose a wireless location-based routing algorithm which uses the location information of its neighbor nodes and a destination node. At first, the proposed routing algorithm forwards a packet to the X direction by selecting a closest node to its destination as a next hop in terms of the X coordinate until the packet reaches closely to the packet's destination. Then the packet is forwarded to the Y direction by selecting a closest node to its destination in terms of the Y coordinate. We use a back off mechanism in case that a next hop cannot be found using the proposed routing algorithm, which resolves loops while forwarding. The experimental results show that the proposed routing algorithm performs well like the existing routing algorithms Ad hoc On-demand Distance Vector and Greedy Perimeter Stateless Routing. It is expected to use the proposed routing algorithm in the digital battlefield of military environments and survival games of commercial environments.

Node-Level Trust Evaluation Model Based on Blockchain in Ad Hoc Network

  • Due to the characteristics of an ad hoc network without a control center, self-organization, and flexible topology, the trust evaluation of the nodes in the network is extremely difficult. Based on the analysis of ad hoc networks and the blockchain technology, a blockchain-based node-level trust evaluation model is proposed. The concepts of the node trust degree of the HASH list on the blockchain and the perfect reward and punishment mechanism are adopted to construct the node trust evaluation model of the ad hoc network. According to the needs of different applications the network security level can be dynamically adjusted through changes in the trust threshold. The simulation experiments demonstrate that ad-hoc on-demand distance vector(AODV) Routing protocol based on this model of multicast-AODV(MAODV) routing protocol shows a significant improvement in security compared with the traditional AODV and on-demand multipath distance vector(AOMDV) routing protocols.

서울시 아파트 가격 행태 예측 모델에 관한 연구 (A Study on Forecasting Model of the Apartment Price Behavior in Seoul)

  • 본 연구에서는 주택 수요와 공급의 상호영향관계 메커니즘을 이용하여 가격 시뮬레이션 모형을 개발하였다. 가격 시뮬레이션 모형의 핵심 알고리즘은 피드백 제어 이론을 이용한 시스템 다이나믹스 기반의 스톡 플로우 변수이며, 이러한 원리를 이용하여 서울지역 아파트 가격변화 행태를 모델링하였다. 가격 행태를 결정하는 피드백 메커니즘은 중장기 경기변동 시나리오 하에 대출 이자율을 정책변수로 아파트 매매 수요자와 공급자 규모를 스톡 변수로 설정하고, 이들 간의 상호 영향관계를 검증하였다. 본 논문을 통하여 향후 아파트 가격 추이는 아파트 매매 수요자와 공급자 규모의 행태 변화와 수요자와 공급자가 갖는 가격에 대한 반응 매개변수간의 영향관계로 구성된다. 또한 향후 경기 전망 및 대출이자율 등 거시경제의 상황에 따라 아파트 매매가격은 변화함을 알 수 있었다. 제시된 아파트 매매 가격 시뮬레이션 계량모델은 양도세 및 취득세 감면 등 비 금융 관련 부동산정책변수와 대출이자 조정 등 금융 관련 정책변수의 보다 정확하고 충분한 데이터를 적용하면 실무 적용과 정부 주택정책입안에 활용 할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

  • We have an urgent matter that is lack of energy resource. So we have to accomplish the design of economical energy utility systems and to develop energy facilities with high efficiency. Cogeneration system is one of them. It has high efficiency and can solve unbalanced electricity and heat demand in Summer & Winter concurrently. Recently, to increase the efficiency and stability of the total system, it is applying automatic control and monitoring software to the hardware facilities in industrial control systems. Therefore, these systems has been researched and developed in the advanced countries. It also has been researched and developed in the domestic since '60. But the control and monitoring software in cogeneration system has been hardly developed and has been imported expensive products from the advanced countries. In this study, we have developed the software of operating control, status monitoring, operating data managing and tele-controlling. We have confirmed usefullness of developed software by applying to gas turbine cogeneration system.
