On the Application Plan Study of International Standard Tendency in Software Quality Testing (소프트웨어 품질 평가 국제 표준 적용 방안에 대한 연구)

  • We are studying international standard about the software quality evaluation. The software quality has been more important on users and developers. In this paper, first, we study international tendency of the inside and outside of the country in software quality evaluation for evaluating the software quality objectively and quantitatively, Second, we notify a new direction for software quality standard of inside and outside of country. Third, we study on the testing method of software reliability for making use of the software reliability growth model. Fourth, we spread method about standard of the software quality evaluation, fifth, we research into the international standard ISO/IEC 9126 and ISO/IEC 25000 series for evaluation of software quality testing, and we propose to the application plan of software quality testing.

  • We consider about software quality nowadays. The company considers about software quality more and more compare to software development. We analyze the software testing data in this paper. We find the software effect according to the number of testing, the number of testing date, the number of fault according to characteristics. Also, we analyze the result by regression. Also, we propose the testing effect by sex.

  • Software testing during development and operation should exercise to obtain the desired software quality and leave failure data set. So far, many software reliability models are classified and can be used to measure a software reliability only based on its failure history But, in practice, developers or testers of software systems must decide which existing software reliability model can be fitted. In this paper, we will show that an appropriate reliability model can be selected by considering relations between characteristics of each testing environment and models' assumptions. Several methods of software testing are presented and discussed. Also, unit test, integrated test, function test and system test that are sequentially exercised during development will be introduced.

  • Game software is tremendous popularity in inside and outside of the country, so it rises market value. Therefore, it is important to study for the evaluation models of game software. In a general way, I think that ISO/IEC 9126 is the international standard of the software quality testing. Especially, game software quality has been more important on users and developers, so we need the compliance testing model of the game software. In this paper, we evaluate the game software quality objectively and quantitatively, we propose the software quality metrics of testing. Also, we propose the evaluation model of game software on the basis of international standard ISO/IEC 9126, six quality characteristic point of view. That is functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, portability, and maintainability.

  • Software in defense domain requires high quality since defense specific characteristics. To assure high quality products, development and testing activities based on well defined process must be performed. If those activities cannot support software acquisition process, the quality of acquired software product is low and combat power decreases. In this paper, we propose MND-TMM(Ministry of National Defense-Testing Maturity Model), which can help enhance software quality through testing process improvements. This paper also introduces the contents of MND-TMM architecture. MND-TMM is constituted to reflect the characteristics of defense software, development process, and testing process so as to solve the problems associated with software testing. MND-TMM is comprised of 5 maturity levels and 4 categories which have number of related TPA(Testing Process Area)s. It is expected that MND-TMM can help assess testing maturity of defense software organizations and provides guidelines to improve software testing process.

  • Software quality evaluation system and software evaluation criterion have to be defined to evaluate software reliability. In this study, we develop software reliability quality metrics for evaluating of software reliability and research for testing of suitable criteria of software reliability. To accomplish a study successfully, we have to estimate the failure time of software using the number of software bugs. Software reliability is very important in software quality. We propose the estimation of software reliability. We propose the software reliability metrics and the software testing method that the basis of international standard ISO/IEC 9126 in software testing metrics.

  • Computer are being used in an increasingly wide variety of application areas, and their correct operation is often critical for business success and humasn safety. Developing high quality software products is therefore of prime important. The recent game software become popular, so we are interest in the game software testing. According to the kinds of game software, because it has the different characters, so game software testing is very difficult. According to enviroment change, Recently, online game is popular, so online game trade in the world market. In the company, developers try to develop the reliable game software. But we can experience many fault of game software in spite of the beta testing. Especially, Testing is very difficult on the game software because of various environment and functionality. We tried the survey for game user. In this paper, we study the quality testing metric of game software fault basis on the ISO/IEC 9126. Also, we consist of the check list of game software a point of view user. It apply for the reliability testing metrics of ISO/IEC 9126.

  • Major industries in Gyeongnam area include robot and automobile manufacturing, shipbuilding, and aviation. According to the research, the mechanical part of the products has been advanced, but awareness over the improvement of quality of the software still lacks. The quality performance test presently conducted by the companies in Gyeongnam is mostly the manual performance test performed by the program manager. In order to systematize this and extend the range of using software testing tools, the current study intends to suggest the necessity for conducting a survey on demand to improve performance and securing testing tools such as measured data analysis. Accordingly, this study is going to investigate 33 companies in Gyeongnam related with software in each of the major business areas centering around the actual field and examine activities related to software quality. And after figuring out the current status of retaining testing tools, the study will suggest the ways to enhance recognition over software quality and propose ultimate solutions to solve the problems on the current stage by finding out how to share information as much as possible in order to lay the foundation for extending the range of activity for the sake of software quality.

  • Software quality is very important in software. We think, software testing is very important in point of functionality, usability. But, we have to consider about all of the software quality. We change our thinking about software quality from time to time. In this paper, we try to the best to find important factors by the number of testing dates and the number of testing in point of functionality, usability, reliability, efficiency, portability, maintainability. We study the mean of the number of faults according to products. We find the difference the number of errors by sex of tester.

We developed this system which helps the software testing team to keep a complete record of their testing activities during the software testing, also increases your confidence in the software quality, class and worth. Our proposed system offers trouble-free and effortless approaches to acquire desired information about bug, also produces different kinds of reports like summary reports, detailed reports etc. It gives facility to create, delete and update any project. Our developed application system is designed by using visual c# at front end and sql server 2008 management studio express at back end.
