Automated analysis software was developed to measure the magnitude of the intrafractional and interfractional errors during breast radiation treatments. Error analysis results are important for determining suitable planning target volumes (PTV) prior to Implementing breast-conserving 3-D conformal radiation treatment (CRT). The electrical portal imaging device (EPID) used for this study was a Portal Vision LC250 liquid-filled ionization detector (fast frame-averaging mode, 1.4 frames per second, 256X256 pixels). Twelve patients were imaged for a minimum of 7 treatment days. During each treatment day, an average of 8 to 9 images per field were acquired (dose rate of 400 MU/minute). We developed automated image analysis software to quantitatively analyze 2,931 images (encompassing 720 measurements). Standard deviations ($\sigma$) of intrafractional (breathing motion) and intefractional (setup uncertainty) errors were calculated. The PTV margin to include the clinical target volume (CTV) with 95% confidence level was calculated as $2\;(1.96\;{\sigma})$. To compensate for intra-fractional error (mainly due to breathing motion) the required PTV margin ranged from 2 mm to 4 mm. However, PTV margins compensating for intefractional error ranged from 7 mm to 31 mm. The total average error observed for 12 patients was 17 mm. The intefractional setup error ranged from 2 to 15 times larger than intrafractional errors associated with breathing motion. Prior to 3-D conformal radiation treatment or IMRT breast treatment, the magnitude of setup errors must be measured and properly incorporated into the PTV. To reduce large PTVs for breast IMRT or 3-D CRT, an image-guided system would be extremely valuable, if not required. EPID systems should incorporate automated analysis software as described in this report to process and take advantage of the large numbers of EPID images available for error analysis which will help Individual clinics arrive at an appropriate PTV for their practice. Such systems can also provide valuable patient monitoring information with minimal effort.
Continuous research efforts are being devoted to unmanned mobile platforms for lunar exploration. There is an ongoing demand for real-time information processing to accurately determine the positioning and mapping of areas of interest on the lunar surface. To apply deep learning processing and analysis techniques to practical rovers, research on software integration and optimization is imperative. In this study, a foundational investigation has been conducted on real-time analysis of virtual lunar base construction site images, aimed at automatically quantifying spatial information of key objects. This study involved transitioning from an existing region-based object recognition algorithm to a boundary box-based algorithm, thus enhancing object recognition accuracy and inference speed. To facilitate extensive data-based object matching training, the Batch Hard Triplet Mining technique was introduced, and research was conducted to optimize both training and inference processes. Furthermore, an improved software system for object recognition and identical object matching was integrated, accompanied by the development of visualization software for the automatic matching of identical objects within input images. Leveraging satellite simulative captured video data for training objects and moving object-captured video data for inference, training and inference for identical object matching were successfully executed. The outcomes of this research suggest the feasibility of implementing 3D spatial information based on continuous-capture video data of mobile platforms and utilizing it for positioning objects within regions of interest. As a result, these findings are expected to contribute to the integration of an automated on-site system for video-based construction monitoring and control of significant target objects within future lunar base construction sites.
With the rapid growth of Internet, many devices such as Web TVs, PDAs and Web phones, begin to be directly connected to the Internet. These devices need real-time operating systems (RTOS) to support complex real-time applications running on them. Development of such real-time applications called embedded internet applications, is difficult due to the lack of adequate tools, especially debuggers. In this paper we present a new tracepoint debugging tool for the Qplus-T RTOS embedded system, which facilitates the instrumentations of the real-time software applications with timing trace-points. Compared with traditional breakpoint debugger, this trace-point debugger provides the ability to dynamically collect and record application data for on-line examination and for further off-line analysis. And, the trace-points can also provide the means for assigning new values to the running application's variables, without neither halting its execution nor interfering with its natural execution flow. Our trace-point debugger provides a highly efficient method for adding numerous monitoring trace-points within a real time target application such as Qplus-T internet applications, utilizing these trace-points to monitor and to analyze the application's behavior while it is running. And also, our trace debugger is different from previous one in that we can specify and detect the timing violations using its RTL (Real-Time Logic) trace experiments.
The location awareness is an important part of many ubiquitous computing systems, but a perfect location system does not exist yet in spite of many researches. Among various location tracking systems, we choose the RFID system due to its wide applications. However, the sensed RSSI signal is too sensitive to the direction of a RFID reader antenna, the orientation of a RFID tag, the human interference, and the propagation media situation. So, the existing location tracking method in spite of using the particle filter is not working well. To overcome this shortcoming, we suggest a robust location tracking method with a double layered structure, where the first layer coarsely estimates a tag's location in the block level using a regression technique or the SVM classifier and the second layer precisely computes the tag's location, velocity and direction using the particle filter technique. Its layered structure improves the location tracking performance by restricting the moving degree of hidden variables. Many extensive experiments show that the proposed location tracking method is so precise and robust to be a good choice for implementing the location estimation of a person or an object in the ubiquitous computing. We also validate the usefulness of the proposed location tracking method by implementing it for a real-time people monitoring system in a noisy and complicate workplace.

In the modern era, the elementary schools in the Republic of Korea are advanced with the competitive world. Thus advancement in technology, and other factors in the elementary schools are releases some kind of particulate matter (PM), which causes deleterious effects on school students health, academic program, growth and development. The school students are susceptible to PM particularly, PM10 and PM2.5. Based on this hazardous effect of PM on school students we conducted the research on the elementary schools class rooms by introducing vertical gardening system to get the schools "ever green". The main aim of this study is to investigate the environmental factors in the educational effect program in the class rooms and indoor air quality changes. For the educational effect, the 4th operation program was applied to 2 schools for 2 hours once a month from September to December 2019. Each school conducted a survey on satisfaction, plant friendliness, and environmental sensibilities, targeting classes that participated in the green school program and those who did not. The environmental effects were monitored by installing indoor air quality facility in the program participating classes and the non-participating classes. From November 2019 to December 2019, three factors were measured: PM10, PM2.5, and humidity. The results were analyzed by T-test using the SPSS 24.0 software program. As a result of the analysis, student's overall satisfaction with the program and their intention to re-engage were high in terms of educational effect. It was also found to be effective in emotional, educational, social, and physical aspects. In particular, it was found that there was a statistically significant effect on improving plant friendliness in terms of plant friendliness and environmental sensitivity. In terms of environmental effects, it was found that there was a significant difference between the program-applied and non-programmed classes in PM10, PM2.5, and humidity. Through this study, it was confirmed that the plant education program using vertical gardens is effective in both the educational effect and the improvement of indoor air quality in the classroom. In conclusion, vertical gardening system in the elementary schools should implement for the beneficial of young generation development and back bone to the nation.

Objective: The aim of the study was to perform a meta-analysis of randomized clinical trials to compare the clinical efficacy and safety between combination of cyclin-dependent kinase (CDK) 4/6 inhibitors with aromatase inhibitors (AIs) and AIs alone in patients with hormone receptor+/human epidermal growth factor receptor type2-(HR+/HER2-) advanced breast cancer. Methods: Published clinical studies were identified through electronic database searches until February 2019. Literature qualities were assessed by the Scottish Intercollegiate Guidelines Network Checklist. Key endpoints of efficacy were progression-free survival (PFS), objective response rate (ORR), and clinical benefit (CB). Endpoints of safety were adverse events (AEs) (neutropenia, leukopenia, any grade 3/4 AEs, and serious AEs) and on-treatment death. Meta-analysis was performed using the RevMan 5.3 software. Results: The selected five studies were evaluated as "good" in quality assessment. Compared to AIs alone, the combination therapy significantly improved PFS (pooled hazard ratio=0.55; 95% confidence interval (CI) 0.49-0.62), ORR (odds ratio=1.78; 95% CI=1.49-2.13), and CB (odds ratio=1.86; 95% CI=1.51-2.28). The prevalence of AEs was significantly higher in the combination group than in the AIs alone group. On-treatment death was greater in the combination group than in the AIs alone group, although insignificant. Conclusion: The combination therapy of CDK4/6 inhibitors with AIs was more effective for the treatment of HR+/HER2- advanced breast cancer, but less safe than AIs alone. The combination therapy should be effectively managed through patient monitoring, and further studies are needed to reduce AEs in the combination therapy of CDK4/6 inhibitors with AIs.

Current sensors are used widely in the fields of current control, monitoring, and measuring. They have become more popular with the increasing demand for smart grids in a power network, generation of renewable energy, electric cars, and hybrid cars. Although open loop Hall effect current sensors have merits, such as low cost, small size, and weight, they have low accuracy. This paper describes the design and fabrication of a 300A open loop current sensor that has high accuracy and temperature performance. The core of the current sensor was calculated numerically and the signal conditioning circuits were designed using circuit analysis software. The characteristics of the manufactured open loop current sensor of 300 A class was measured at currents up to 300 A. According to the test of the current sensor, the accuracy error and linearity error were 0.75% and 0.19%, respectively. When the temperature compensation was carried out with the relevant circuit, the temperature coefficients were less than $0.012%/^{\circ}C$ at temperatures between $-25^{\circ}C$ and $85^{\circ}C$.
In this study, an automated sensor to measure forest fire surface fuel moistures was developed to predict changes in the moisture content and risk of forest fire surface fuel, which was indicators of forest fire occurrence and spread risk. This measurement sensor was a method of automatically calculating the moisture content of forest fire surface fuel by electric resistance. The proxy of forest fire surface fuel used in this sensor is pine (50 cm long, 1.5 cm in diameter), and the relationship between moisture content and electrical resistance, R(R:Electrical resistance)=2E(E:Exponent of 10)+13X(X:Moisture content)-9.705(R2=0.947) was developed. In addition, using this, the software and case of the automated measurement sensor for forest fire surface fuel moisture were designed to produce a prototype, and the suitability (R2=0.824) was confirmed by performing field monitoring verification in the forest. The results of this study would contribute to develop technologies that can predict the occurrence, spread and intensity of forest fires, and are expected to be used as basic data for advanced forest fire risk forecasting technologies.

Safety-Critical systems, such as Plant Protection Systems in nuclear power plant, plays a key role that the facilities can be operated without undue risk to the health and safety of public and environment, and those systems shall be designed, fabricated, installed, and tested to quality standards commensurate with the importance of the functions to be performed. Computer-based Instrumentation and Control Systems to perform the safety-critical function have Real Time Operating Systems to control and monitoring the sub-system and executing the application software. The safety-critical Real Time Operating Systems shall be designed, analyzed, tested and evaluated to have capability to maintain a high integrity and quality. However, local nuclear power plants have applied the real time operating systems on safety critical systems through Commercial Grade Item Dedication method, and this is the reason of lack of detailed methodology on assessing the safety of real time operating systems, expecially to the new developed one. This paper presents the methodology and experiences of safety evaluation on safety-critical Real Time Operating Systems based upon design requirements. This paper may useful to develop and evaluate the safety-critical Real Time Operating Systems in other industry to ensure the safety of public and environment.
The use of computers for control and monitoring of industrial process has expanded greatly in recent years. The computer used in such applications is shared between a certain number of time-critical control and monitor function and non time-critical batch processing job stream. Embedded systems encompass a variety of hardware and software components which perform specific function in host computer. Many embedded system must respond to external events under certain timing constraints. Failure to respond to certain events on time may either seriously degrade system performance or even result in a catastrophe. In the design of real-time embedded system, decisions made at the architectural design phase greatly affect the final implementation and performance of the system. Flexibility indicates how well a particular system architecture can tolerate with respect to satisfying real-time requirements. The degree of flexibility of real-time system architecture indicates the capability of the system to tolerate perturbations in timing related specifications. Given degree of flexibility, one may compare and rank different implementations. A system with a higher degree of flexibility is more desirable. Flexibility is also an important factor in the trade-off studies between cost and performance. In this paper, it is identified the need for flexibility function and shows that the existing real-time analysis result can be effective. This paper motivated the need for a flexibility for the efficient analysis of potential design candidates in the architectural design exploration or real time embedded system.
