  • Recently, as the geographic information system (GIS) which searches, manages geographic information is used more widely, there is more requests for some systems which can search and display more actual and realistic information. As a response to these requests, the video geographic information system which connects video data obtained by using cameras and geographic information as it is by displaying the obtained video data is being more popular. However, because most existing video geographic information systems consider video data as an attribute of geographic information or use simple one-way links from geographic information to video data to connect video data with geographic information, they support only displaying video data through searching geographic information. In this paper, we design and implement a video geographic information system which connects video data with geographic information and supports hi-directional search; searching geographic information through searching video data and searching video data through searching geographic information. To do this, we 1) propose an ER data model to represent connection information related to video data, geographic information, 2) propose a process to extract and to construct connection information from video data and geographic information, 3) show a component based system architecture to organize the video geographic information system.

  • In this paper, we design and implement the architecture of the ubiquitous software robot platform (Sobot platform) based on Web 2.0. In order to provide a user with the personalized emotional service by transferring to any device without any time or geographical limitations, the software robot must be developed as a form of a platform based on the standardized data and structures. To verify the effectiveness and the feasibility of the proposed Sobot platform consisting of the terminal platform, the server platform, and the contents composer, we compose user-created emotional Sobot contents messages on heterogeneous platforms such as PC, a mobile phone, a PDA, and a web portal site and experiment a variety of Sobot transfer implementation between them.

  • GIS have expanded the use-range to the various application area with the advantage of interface environment, the various geographical operation. topological analysis by the friendly user. Early GIS software was developed as monolithic tool in which all functions packed in the same software. But, these GIS software have the problems of the high cost of constructing system, closely related system architecture and the reusability. And there is a lack of interoperability between them because most of them have their own unique data format according to their practical application fields. So Component is a unit that it is cohesive software package which is able to be developed and arranged independently and connected with another component for necessary system composition. In this paper, we analyze the requirements for component design and component specifications based on the extracted components. Commonly used to extract components from the requirements of the GPS component-based development process is presented. These components extracted by the process can be used to assemble components only. In particular, applications for developers to add features specific case without affecting the other components that can be modify the component.

  • As the semiconductor industrials change 200㎜-sized semiconductor wafer production process to 300㎜-sized one, it requires to develop the software for monitoring and simulating the robot which transfers a 300㎜-sized semiconductor wafer. Because such a software don't run at standalone but communicate MCS(Material Control System) and Its subsystem a robot, its architecture is very complex. Therefore, in order to develop such a software systematically, we must utilize an object-oriented development methodology. UML. This paper presents an UML process application developing the software for monitoring and simulating the robot which transfers a semiconductor wafer on the production process.

  • A number of intrusion detection systems have been developed to detect intrusive activity on individual hosts and networks. The systems developed rely almost exclusively on a software approach to intrusion detection analysis and response. In addition, the network systems developed apply a centralized approach to the detection of intrusive activity. The problems introduced by this approach are twofold. First the centralization of these functions becomes untenable as the size of the network increases.

  • In this paper, we propose VC merge capable hardware architecture for scalability based on ATM switching fabric. We implemented a scheduler for configuring crossbars in input-queued switches which support virtual output queues at the input ports. Also, we implemented VC merge capable scheduler at the output ports. We verified the proposed model by using C language, and designed with VHDL language. Then, we simulated and synthesized it with software of the SYNOPSYS corporation.

  • In this paper, we describe an IMT-2000 system architecture, a protocol stack, and basic MAP scenarios(e.g., registration, call delivery) based on the IS-41 and IS-41 and IS-751. This paper focuses on the MAP scenarios to support the IMSI which is defined for the global roaming between GSM and IS-41 Networks through the Family of System approach. This paper also deals with the design of the MAP protocol stack transported over the ATM networks and introduces the software structure of MAP in IMT-2000 MSC.

  • 소프트웨어 설계 프로세스는 일반적으로 두 가지 활동을 통해 수행되는 데, 한 가지는 소프트웨어 시스템을 적절한 크기의 기능모듈로 분해해 나가는 것이며, 다른 한가지는 분해된 모듈을 구조적 패턴 위에 매핑 하는 것이다 본 논문의 관점은 분해된 기능모듈을 매핑 하는 구조적 패턴을 개발하는 데 있으며, 이러한 패턴들이 체계화하여 기능모듈을 구조화하는 작업을 보다 효율적으로 추진하여 높은 품질의 소프트웨어를 효율적으로 개발할 수 있도록 하고자 한다.

  • This paper describes the basic design concepts and architecture of the subscriber line test feature for the TDX-1A digital switching system. Also, implemented software structure for maintaining the multiprocessor control system employed in TDX-1A, which includes terminal server, MML, test, fault recognition and test result handling.
