본 논문에서는 진화론적 기술경제학을 토대로 우리나라 국가연구개발사업에 투입되는 정부연구비의 성과를 여섯 가지 분석요인을 가지고 다각도로 분석하였다. 분석에는 2008년 3월부터 서비스를 시작한 국가과학기술지식정보서비스(National Science and Technology Information Service, NTIS)를 활용하였다. NTIS에서 2002년부터 2008년까지 연도별로 과학기술표준분류, 연구수행주체, 경제사회목적, 협력행태에 따른 정부연구비를 조사하였고, 이를 "투입"으로 놓았다. 그리고 이와 유사하게 2002년부터 2008년까지의 연도별 과학기술표준분류, 연구수행주체, 경제사회목적, 협력행태에 따른 논문 성과, 특허 성과, 사업화 성과, 기술료 성과를 조사하였고, 이를 "성과"로 놓았다. 우리는 이 자료의 분석결과를 통해서 정부연구비의 성과에 영향을 미치는 여러 가지 요인을 파악할 수 있을 것으로 기대하였고, 이것으로부터 정부연구비 투입의 방향성 또는 정책적 시사점을 제시할 수 있을 것으로 기대하였다. 다만 보다 미시적인 관점에서 산업 또는 기술의 특성, 연구수행주체가 갖는 조직의 특성, 협력연구 형태에 따른 네트워크의 특성, 사회 정치 문화적 외부 효과 등의 요인을 고려하지 못한 점은 이 연구의 한계점이라고 할 수 있다.

The purpose of this research is to contemplate chronological changes of Korean actress facial image and fashion from 1960s to 1990s and to identify Korean women's ideal beauty reflected through the times. Adjectives describing representative actresses of each studied decade were collected from major newspapers and magazines. Korean women's ideal beauty was divided into 4 sub-types such as youthful, pure, sophisticate, and sexy images. As a result of analyzing actress facial image and fashion, youthful and pure beauties were found consistently over the studied periods. Representative characteristics of sophisticate and sexy beauties have been changed over the studied periods which were influenced by socio-cultural environment factors. The result of this research can provide meaningful sources for historical drama, celebrity marketing strategy planning, and personal image consulting.

It is expected that the Fourth Industrial Revolution will have a great impact on the manufacturing industry, especially as it will cause big changes in industry, economy as well as socio-cultural. To cope with this situation, each country is promoting the policy of cultivating its manufacturing. This study derives the effect of the fourth industrial revolution on product lifecycle management for smart manufacturing through expert's cognitive analysis. The knowledge area of product lifecycle management is divided into Project Portfolio Management, Collaborative Product Design, Customer Needs Management, Direct Material Sourcing, Product Data Management, Digital Manufacturing & Engineering, R&D Foundation, New Product Development through academic research. The expert survey was conducted in five different perspectives: Importance, Insufficiency. Then, using the results of the survey and the academic research the implication about Product Lifecycle Management were derived. The significance of this study is that it derives the change areas and factors of the product life cycle management knowledge domain in preparation for the fourth industrial revolution according to the perspective of importance and insufficiency.

본 연구의 목적은 GIS 분석기법에 의해 북한의 경제활동에 최적인 산업입지 지역을 분석하기 위한 기초 자료를 제공하는데 있다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해 먼저 남포지역이 사례지역으로 선정되었다. 이는 환경적 요인과 사회문화적 요소에 의해 최적의 입지지역을 구분하기 위함이다. 두 번째로 자연환경 요소인 토지이용 상태와 지형요소가 분석되었다. 토지피복도와 식생지수 분포도가 작성되었고, 고도와 경사도 등을 분석하기 위해 수치고도모형이 작성되었다. 재해영향평가의 수단인 USLE는 산업단지 개발사업 도중의 환경변화를 최소화하는 방안으로 제안되어 본 연구에 적용되었다. 본 연구에서는 GIS와 USLE의 분석에 의해 환경변화를 최소화하는 최적의 산업입지지역 선정 방안을 제안하였다.

This study aimed to understand communicative and socialization practices of immigrant bilingual families in everyday learning situations by examining interactions between parents and children in the United States. Drawn on language socialization theory and socio-cultural factors influencing immigrants, this study explored how three Korean American mothers struggled as they helped their children with homework by interviewing the mothers and observing mother-child interaction during homework time. The study paid attention to the emotional values of immigrant parents that they tried to teach their children who are members in two distinctive communities, such as Korean American and mainstream American. The findings showed that parental socialization practices had effects on children's emotional and social competence and at the same time the socialization process was bidirectional. Mothers started with Korean values, but they faced challenges with the English language, different demands for American homework, and children's rejection of their attempts. Mothers needed to change their strategy and borrow American ways of keeping emotional distance from their children by acknowledging their independence. Their struggles are discussed with attention to their language choice and culture.

The third sex implying a mismatch between sex and gender has been regarded as an extreme socio-cultural violation. In its earlier version, such a violation was expressed by cross-dressing; Women's cross-dressing was thought to invoke eroticism, while men's cross-dressing was considered comic or delinquent. However, as feminism developed more with the homosexual identity expressed openly, the third sex began to be visual. Thus, in 1990's, some homosexual monies began to develop to be pluralized enough to suggest the third sex and thereby, change the negative sex into a positive one. In this study, such a pluralization is discussed in terms of invisibility, dichotomy and androgyny. The cross-dressing movies show females in male attire or males in female attire to reflect the third sex. The cross-dressing may be divided into men's playful cross-dressing, women's political cross-dressing and homosexuals'cross-dressing or 'drag'. Gender identity is not an attribute fixed by some physical characteristics, but it tends to be changed or expanded by some social factors over time. In short, it may be a flexible, plural, individual and self-introspective attribute. Movies present diverse types of gender identities, and in particular, the movie costumes specify them. In other words, the costumes may be model means expressing the gender identities, and the gender identities shown in the movies tend to be imitated, re-created or assumed by the audience.

The movie costumes may serve to change individuals'ego identity, shift a gender identity to another one and make multiple and plural gender identities shared. The unique identities shown in movies can influence the audience to the extent that they will imitate characters's costumes or appearance in their real life, replacing their inner, unrealizable and private fantasy with real one. The purpose of this study is to review the movies produced in 1930's and thereafter by categorizing the socio-cultural gender concepts into masculinity and feminity. Masculinity and Feminity are not attributions fixed by some physical characteristics, but it tends to be changed or expended by some social factors over time. In short, it may be a flexible, plural, individual and self-introspecive attribute. Movies present diverse types of masculinity and feminity, and in particular, the movie costumes specify them. In other words, the costumes may be model means expressing the masculinity and feminity, and the gender identities shown in the movies tend to be imitated, re-created or assumed by the audience. All in all, the movie costumes serve to take on the confrontation of masculinity and feminity between inner, unrealizable and private fantasy and external reality and thereby, expand it from internal to external issue and thus, change or reform masculinity and feminity.

Development of village chicken production can be a sustainable way of helping to meet the welfare needs of rural populations and raise their living standards. There is a dearth of information on research conducted to characterize, understand and develop the village chicken production systems in Zimbabwe. This review focuses on constraints, opportunities and research needs for the improvement of village chicken productivity in Zimbabwe. Village chicken production in Zimbabwe is extensive and dominated by indigenous chickens that exhibit remarkable adaptation to local environments. The multitude functions of village chickens, which include the provision of high quality protein meat and eggs, cash through sales and socio-cultural roles, are discussed in detail. Human gender aspects in village chicken production are highlighted. The factors that hamper village chicken productivity are reviewed together with opportunities and research needs. The major constraints include shortage of feed, poor health and housing management. Any improvements in these constraints may lead to sustainable increase in village chicken productivity.

The purpose of this study is to qualitatively investigate how career women form their self-identity in relationship to their parents from the viewpoint of life-span development, and to provide practical information helpful for understanding the change of relationship between parents and adult children and forming desirable parents-daughter relationships by developing the substance theory which suits the socio-cultural context of Korea. In this study, 24 unmarried women who have parents and engage in professional jobs were selected for an in-depth interview. From the findings of this study, 67 concepts, 29 subordinate categories and 13 categories were extracted during the process of open-coding; a research model was then constructed according to the paradigm of the grounded theory. It was found that there are three types: the reality-convinced type, the conflict-compromising type and the self-regulated type who "persistently worry about themselves and try to develop". These results verify the process of career women "worrying about themselves and developing constantly" and its structure by forming their self-identities, adjusting the effects of several contextual factors and using mediatory strategies in the developmental process of self-identity.

본 논문은 탈근대화의 영향으로 등장한 카오스 이론의 시각으로, 수학과 미술의 관련성을 연구하였다 중세 말에서 르네상스로 접어드는 13-14세기, 르네상스의 개화기인 15, 16세기 그리고 16세기말에서 바로크 시대로 접어드는 세 시기에 시대정신이 역동적 체계에서 어떻게 구축되는지를 조망하였다. 시간의 흐름과 더불어 역동적으로 변모해가는 문화와 역사는복잡계의 전형이기 때문이다.
