The power expansion planning is large and capital intensive capacity planning. In the past, the expansion planning was established with the proper supply reliability in order to minimize social cost. However, the planning can't use cost minimizing objective function in the power markets with many market participants. This paper proposed the power expansion planning model using multi-criteria decision rule. This model used multi objective function considering not only cost minimizing but also GENCO's intension. This paper compared proposed model with WASP model in order to verify the result of proposed model.

Public rental apartment has suffered social exclusion problem, stemmed from its closed planing for a very specific range of the disadvantaged population. Thereby, it has been recognized as a disliked residential facility. To alleviate this problem, various approaches have been tried such as ownership-tenant mixture, and different unit size mixture. The purpose of this study is to grasp the expected social relation among neighboring residents according to socially integrative planing elements such as ownership, unit size and family life cycle match. Thirty eight graduate students in architecture and housing field responded to the questionnaire which was specifically made to identify relations of 28 neighboring situations based on $2{\times}2{\times}2$ variable composition. Frequency, percentage and MDS(multidimensional scaling) were used to analyze data. As a result, the order of preferred matchy were identified. The match between rental/small/children group and ownership/middle/children group was turned out to be the most desirable while the match between rental/small/children family group and rental/small/elderly group was found the least desirable. Spatial representations of the relationships among 8 household types were delineated. In conclusion, the definite patterns of the favorable and unfavorable match were found. This result is expected to be used as a reference in developing a strategic match to promote the rental apartments social integration in Korea.

The purpose of this study is to research into the relationship between the clothing purchase practices of high school girls in Seoul and their social stratification. For the survey of social stratification, the information of the monthly income of the households were extracted from the Annual Report of the City-Household in the Economic Planning Board : as for the occupations of patriarches, the groups of occupations were extracted from the Census of the Population & House in the Economic Planning Board and the types of occupations from the Korea Professional Dictionary in the Labor Ministry. The survey of clothing purchase practices is based on Ryan's Clothing: A Study in Human Behavior. The questionnaires were distributed to the seven girls' high schools in Seoul. The data from 354 respondents was analyzed by Pearsons'r, ANOVA and $x^2$ test. The Results were: 1. There was a significant relationship between clothing purchase practices variables and their social stratification. 2. There were differences in clothing purchase practices variables according to the social stratification. 3. There were significant relationships among the three clothing purchase practices variables.

Interest about Modal Shift is not being decreased, and it is drawing limelight as green logistics which meets low carbon green growth of National development vision. As an effect of Modal Shift, not only reduction in CO2 emission but also reduction in social cost, logistics cost etc. are being discussed. However, until now research about its practical transformation effect has been scanty. In this study, the actual expenses via CO2 emission, social cost, and logistics cost etc. by road transportation and rail transportation of container cargo with Origin/Destination between Busan-Kyeonggi Area were calculated and we propose beneficial effects when transportation mode is transformed from road to rail with Scenario Planning.

A purpose of this research is to suggest a housing planning on a high-rise apartment by searching a residence lifestyle based on a trend. In this rapid changing age, this will be a based data for regulating the future social housing lifestyle by understanding a whole of social fields. In addition, residence who will be lived in a high-rise apartment will be likely to get a better life environment. By researching a trend with politics, social culture, economy, scientific technique from 1970 to 2008, it is came out the most important three trend is feminism, naturalism and digital. And these three main trend continuously affect people‘ lifestyle. The flow of trend, lifestyle and the complex apartment has been related each other. There are relation between housing flow and trend. This researching data can be used for the future high-rise apartment market introducing trend and lifestyle concept.

The objectives of this study were 1) to evaluate the environmental and social cultural public benefits but a food supply, 2) to revalue the importance of rural and rural living, This study was carried out through review of literature, a delphi technique, a case study. It was mainly used the delphi technique by expert group. Major findings were as follows ; 1. The public benefits in rural were classified into three categories:(1) social culture (2) natural environment (3) economic & etc. 2. To evaluate the values for public benefits, questionaries were developed by expert group, and the total number of items were 30. 3. There were picked out 12 items on social culture, 10 items on natural environment, and 8 items on economic & etc of public benefits in rural. 4. In the public benefits, a food supply was highest in total 30 items, and water resources contain, emotional-psychological rest, place of environment education, beautiful view, etc were followed in order.

In mobile social network, it is a critical challenge to select an optimal set of devices to supply high quality service constantly under dynamic network topology and the limit of device capacity in mobile ad-hoc network (MANET). In this paper, a multi-devices composition and maintenance problem is proposed with ubiquitous service model and network model. In addition, a multi-devices composition and maintenance approach with dynamic planning is proposed to deal with this problem, consisting of service discovery, service composition, service monitor and service recover. At last, the simulation is implemented with OPNET and MATLAB and the result shows this mechanism is better applied to support complex ubiquitous service.

The purpose of this study is to show the relation of the change between spacial structure and social conditions of rural area. The spacial structure change of Asan city was analyzed using Space Syntax, and multiple regression analysis (dependent variables: connectivity, global integration, local integration / independent variables: population, household, farm population, farm population of 65years old and over, farm household, part-time farm households, cultivated land) was accomplished. As th result, that the increase of connectivity is related to the increase of population and farm population of 65years old and over and the decrease of farm population, and the increase of local integration is related to the increase of farm population of 65years old and over was showed. However, that global integration is not related to change of social conditions was proved.

일반적으로 교통망 설계문제는 특정 목적함수를 최소 또는 최대화시키는 도로의 용량이나 대중교통망 노선과 같은 교통망의 속성 값을 구하는 문제이다. 이는 수리적인 모형으로 표현되며, 수학적으로 해결 가능한 문제로 구성되기 위해 실제 교통망에서 발생하는 복잡한 현상들을 최대한 단순화하여 고려하게 된다. 이에 따라 통행수요의 근본적인 동기가 되는 활동수요의 발생과정을 고려하지 못하고, 교통패턴에 큰 영향을 미치는 요인 중 하나인 지역계획 측면의 속성변화를 분석의 틀에 포함시킬 수 없다는 한계가 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 한계를 극복하고자 교통망 설계문제를 도시계획 (Urban planning) 범위로 확장한다. 즉, 토지이용 계획과 같은 교통망 계획의 상위에 위치한 계획 속성을 변경했을 때 도시 내의 활동 및 교통 패턴이 어떻게 변화하는지를 모형을 통해 예측하고, 이를 기반으로 도시의 지역 및 교통시스템을 최적화시키는 모형을 제시한다. 본 연구에서 개발된 모형을 실제크기의 지역교통망에 적용해 모형의 실제 적용가능성을 실험하였다.

As technologies' life-cycle shortens and their development directions are uncertain, firms' technology planning capability becomes increasingly important. Prior patent-based studies using technology growth curves identify developmental stages of technologies, thereby formulating technology development directions from an overall perspective. However, a technology generally consists of multiple sub-technologies and accordingly their development stages are likely various. In this regard, the prior studies failed to identify core sub-technologies and their specific development directions. Therefore, we suggest an approach consisting of 1) identifying core sub-technologies of a given technology using patent co-classifications and social network analysis, and 2) identifying each sub-technology's development stage and thereby determining its further development direction. We apply our approach to patents related to augmented reality to examine its applicability. It is expected that our approach will help identify evolving development stages for the core sub-technologies of a given technology, thereby effectively assisting technology experts in technology planning processes.
