갈등적 수줍음형 사회적 위축 유아를 위한 증강현실 기반 개입 프로그램 개발 및 효과 검증 (The Effect of an Augmented Reality-Based Intervention Program on Social Withdrawal in Children with Conflicted Shyness)

  • Objective: This study designed an Augmented Reality-based intervention program for children with conflicted shyness and examined its effects on social avoidance motivation and preference for being with others. Methods: Sixteen six-year-old children were randomly assigned to either the experimental or control group. The experimental group participated in a six-week AR-based program. Both teachers and children rated social avoidance motivation and preference for being with others to evaluate the program's effectiveness. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test and the Mann-Whitney U test. Results: Social avoidance motivation decreased only for the experimental group. Conversely, the control group showed increased motivation scores as reported by the children. The preference for being with others increased in the experimental group based on teacher reports. For the control group, preference scores reported by teachers and children were maintained and decreased, respectively. Conclusion/Implications: This study highlights the effectiveness of the intervention in reducing social avoidance motivation and maintaining a preference for being with others in children experiencing conflicted shyness. Furthermore, the use of AR technology provided a psychologically safe environment for them to initiate social interactions without fear of negative evaluation, highlighting its potential as a primary intervention tool for this population.

신규간호사의 간호근무환경과 현실충격과의 관계에서 사회적 지지 및 자기효능감의 효과 (Effect of social support and self-efficacy in the relationship between Nursing work environment and Reality Shock in New Graduate Nurses)

  • 본 연구는 신규간호사의 간호근무환경과 현실충격과의 관계에서 사회적 지지 및 자기효능감의 효과를 규명하여 신규간호사가 경험하는 현실충격을 감소시키기 위한 대안을 마련하고자 시행되었다. 연구기간은 2015년 6월 15일부터 2015년 8월 31일까지였으며, 연구대상은 일 지역 소재 3개의 종합병원과 2개의 대학병원에서 근무하는 1년 미만의 신규간호사를 대상으로 편의추출 방식으로 수집하였으며 260명을 표본으로 하였다. 자료는 기술적 통계, 단순회귀분석, 조절 회귀분석으로 분석하였다. 연구결과는 대상자의 간호근무환경은 평균 $3.06{\pm}.313$점, 현실충격은 평균 $2.73{\pm}.401$점, 사회적 지지는 평균 $3.90{\pm}.623$점 그리고 자기효능감은 평균 $3.73{\pm}.519$점이었다. 현실충격에 대해 사회적 지지(F=16.744, p<.001) 및 자기효능감(F=40.616, p<.001)은 직접효과가 있는 것으로 검증되었다. 또한, 간호근무환경과 현실충격과의 관계에서 사회적 지지(F=7.743, p<.001) 및 자기효능감(F=14.676, p<.001)이 현실충격에 대해 조절효과가 있는 것으로 검증되었다. 따라서 신규간호사가 간호근무환경에서 경험하는 현실충격을 감소시켜 줄 것으로 기대되는 사회적 지지 및 자기효능감을 향상시키기 위한 프리셉터 교육의 표준화 및 맞춤형 멘토 프로그램 등의 프로그램 개발과 자기효능감을 높일 수 있는 프로그램 운영을 제언하는 바이다.

Cultural Representations and Experience in Tourism: Two Forms of Mimesis

  • This paper fills a gap in smart tourism research by investigating the link between online representations and their physical counterparts. This sort of phenomenology visualizes a doubled cultural mimesis that can be described by the story of the ship of Theseus, where the original is replaced by an ongoing process of installing new components. In this sense, social reality is conceptualized as having real cultural events and the production of cultural items as well as having digital reproductions that appear and circulate online. These are accessed by a variety of platforms where reality is simulated onsite through augmented reality technology or remotely through forms of virtual reality. This paper seeks to frame and to present this notion and its potential impacts on destination culture particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic in Korea.

  • 인구 고령화와 더불어 최근 10년간 치매, 경도인지장애(MCI, Mild Cognitive Disorder) 수진자 수가 19배 수준으로 급증하면서 심각한 사회·경제적 문제로 대두되고 있다. MCI는 조기 진단 및 중재를 통해 치매 예방 가능성이 가장 큰 단계이지만, 국내 치매안심센터의 물리적 수용 한계 및 팬데믹으로 인한 대면 프로그램의 중단으로 MCI 및 치매 환자의 대응이 어려운 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 향후 급증하는 노인인구와 치매 환자를 위한 인지훈련 콘텐츠의 특성을 알아보고, 고령자의 인지, 신체, 사회기능을 효과적으로 훈련할 수 있는 XR(Extended Reality) 기반의 콘텐츠 개발 고려사항을 도출하고 이를 위한 디자인 요소를 제안한다.

사회복지 패러다임(paradigm)으로서 비판적 실재론의 가능성에 대한 탐색적 연구 (An Explorative Study on Theoretical Potential of Critical Realism as Social Welfare Paradigm)

  • 본 연구는 사회복지를 포함한 사회과학의 존재론적 인식론적 이분화에 대해 비판하면서 그에 대한 대안으로서 비판적 실재론의 가능성을 탐색해본다. 사회복지이론은 '행위주체'와 '사회구조'의 이분화된 존재론적 입장을 고수해왔고 그것을 통합하고자 하는 생태체계적 관점이 지배적이었으며, 이와 같은 이론적 입장은 사회복지실천영역에도 영향을 미쳐왔다. 한편, '실증주의'와 '구성주의'로 이분화된 인식론적 관점 또한 현상을 바라보는 서로 다른 입장으로서 사회복지이론연구와 실천방법에 영향을 미쳐왔다. 이 같은 이분화된 존재론적 인식론적 관점은 행위주체와 사회구조 간 관계의 질적인 속성을 드러내고 사회 내 심층적 실재에서의 기제 작동, 그리고 인식주체와 무관한 실재에 대한 사유에 있어 한계를 가질 수 밖에 없다. 이에 대해 비판적 실재론은 층화된 실재, 과학의 대상으로 자동적 차원과 타동적 차원, 그 안에서 이루어지는 이중의 해석과 개념화의 조건들, 그리고 구조의 이중성과 실천의 이중성, 변형적 사회활동모델 등의 논의를 통해 대안적 사회복지패러다임으로서 새로운 가능성을 보여준다.

Design of Virtual Reality content for supervising abusement

  • The government has defined domestic violence as one of the four major social evils and tried to prepare laws and systems to prevent it. Nevertheless, domestic violence has emerged as a serious social issue, and compare to the number of domestic violence cases that are constantly increasing, the report rate of domestic violence is significantly lower. This suggests the need to improve citizens' perception of domestic violence as the issue to solve it together in society, not as a private matter at home. Most of existing contents for preventing domestic violence and improving awareness are simple viewing forms of video contents, which have little effect on recognition. We aim to confirm the possibility of improving social awareness about domestic violence by producing Virtual Reality (VR) contents that have great features of user's immersion and empathy. In this VR content, the user can interact with various objects in the virtual reality of domestic violence and directly or indirectly experience the victim's position. Users who view the violent environment from the victim's point of view can have a subjective empathy for the problem, which is expected to induce more active awareness about domestic violence.

불안장애에 대한 가상현실치료 국내동향분석 (Domestic Trend Analysis of Virtual Reality Therapy for the Treatment Anxiety Disorders)

  • Objectives: Many fields have changed since covid-19, psychotherapy being no exception. With the pandemic associated increase in untact treatment, interest in virtual reality exposure therapy has also increased. The aim of study was to analyze recent literature using virtual reality therapy for the treatment of anxiety disorders. Methods: We searched five databases from dates between October 1 to November 1, 2020. We selected articles related to the treatment of anxiety disorders using virtual reality therapy and analyzed the trend of that, not thesis but domestic articles. Results: There were 6 RCT studies and 3 were case reports where, based on the DSM-4, the participants presented with anxiety disorders including 2 with presentation anxiety, 1 heterosexual anxiety, 1 test anxiety, 1 social anxiety, 1 dental anxiety, 2 Acrophobia, and 1 social phobia. Treatment sessions varied from 1 session to 18 sessions, but 5 studies conducted 4 sessions, and all studies attempted virtual reality exposure for 30-minute time periods. 8 studies used HMD as the VR device and 1 study did not report a device. Conclusions: Anxiety disorders treated using virtual reality included speech anxiety and acrophobia. Median treatment session number was 4 and sessions were less than 30 minutes. The most common VR device used was an HMD. VR psychotherapy showed limitations relating to patient experience including cyber sickness and a lack of immersion. In addition, most of the studies were conducted with patients who visited hospitals utilizing Western medical practices. Currently, virtual reality therapy (VRT) intervention in oriental medicine is lacking. The lack of research in this area suggests analyzing data from VR psychotherapy in oriental medicine could provide novel and useful information.

사회구성주의와 비판적 사회구성주의 관점으로 본 다문화가정 주거의 실재 (Reality of Housing for Multi-Cultural Families from the Perspectives of Social Constructionism and Critical Social Constructionism)

  • The purpose of this study was to review the conceptual framework of social constructionism and critical social constructionism in the research area of multi-cultural family homes, using a literature review. Fopp argued that social constructionism had an objectivation problem that only considered the actor side as a policy object; therefore he suggested a weaker social constructionist perspective with moderate relativism and the application of feminist epistemology to marginal life for maximizing objectivity. This article explores a conceptual framework for studying the reality of housing of multi-cultural families in Korea in the light of constructionist ideas and presents a review of empirical positivist data to support the framework. Based on results, using the social constructionist framework, five contexts (structural, institutional, organizational, operational, and intersubjective) were reviewed and ideas were suggested to develop an appropriate future situation for multi-cultural family homes. For a weaker social constructionist framework, three National Survey of Multi-Cultural Family Homes data sets were reviewed to determine the real condition of multi-cultural family homes. Further, from a feminist perspective, the empirical data of marginalized multi-cultural family homes were reviewed from the perspectives of gender inequality of decision making, cultural adaptation, and differentiation in housing related areas. In conclusion, two perspectives were useful for understanding multi-cultural family housing in Korea but must be compensated with substantial empirical data for a holistic approach.

사회적 배우로서의 리얼리티 관찰 예능 프로그램의 일반인 참여자: <윤식당2>를 중심으로 (The Non-fiction Participants in the Reality Observational Entertainment Program as Social Actors: Focusing on Youn's Kitchen Season 2)

  • 이 연구는 리얼리티 관찰 예능 프로그램의 일반인 참여자에 대해 사회적 배우로서의 가능성을 타진해보는 데에 그 목적이 있다. 사회적 배우와 공연의 개념, 그리고 사회적 배우의 공연이 어떻게 스크린 위에 형상화되는지에 대해 살펴보았고, <윤식당2>의 텍스트 분석을 통해 이를 증명하였다. 연구 결과, <윤식당2>의 일반인 참여자(손님)들은 카메라가 설치되어 있는 공간에서 카메라의 존재를 의식하며 일상을 수행하는 사회적 배우로 기능하였다. 그 공간에 참여하는 사람들이 많아질수록 사회적 관계는 복잡해지고 그가 공연하는 배역의 수 또한 증가하였다. 사회적 배우의 일상적 공연은 카메라를 비롯한 다양한 영화적 장치에 의해 선택되어졌으며 재현적 공연과 표현적 공연이 공존하는 혼종적 양식이라는 특정한 골격 내에서 수행되어졌다.
